Your leadership style is the way in which you carry out your functions as a leader.

It's a consistent pattern of behavior, a behavior that you have developed consciously or subconsciously

over time.

If you want to develop a great leadership style, you've got to be mindful of your behavior at all times.

This is where the rubber meets the road.

You know, it only takes one mistake to fall from grace as a leader.

There are plenty of well known leaders who have lost track of their behavior, some for just one instant

and become scapegoats and laughing.

Stocks here are just a few that you might recognize.

Richard Nixon.

Richard Nixon was an American politician who served as a thirty seventh president of the United States

from 1969 to 1974, when he became the only US president to resign from office.

He resigned because he was on the verge of being impeached and removed from office because of the Watergate

scandal.

Even though he wasn't directly involved, evidence came to light that he lied about knowing his staff

had been involved in illegal activities.

Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods is an American professional golfer who's among the most successful golfers of all time.

He has been one of the highest paid athletes in the world for several years.

However, from December 2009 to early April 2010, Woods took leave from professional golf to focus

on his marriage after he admitted infidelity and his many other extramarital affairs came to light this

fall from grace, and the public's eye led to his poor golf performance.

Or then over the next several years, and he's no longer in the top five hundred golfers league.

Lance Armstrong, Lance Armstrong is an American former professional road racing cyclist.

He's the nineteen ninety three professional world champion.

Armstrong had won the Tour de France seven consecutive times from 1999 to 2005 before all results from

August 1998 forward or voided as a result of long term doping offenses.

Kenneth Lay.

Kenneth Lay was an American businessman.

He was the CEO and chairman of Enron Corporation and was highly respected as a businessman.

Lay's company, Enron, went bankrupt in 2001.

It was the biggest bankruptcy in U.S. history at the time.

In total, twenty thousand employees lost their jobs and in many cases, their life savings.

Investors also lost billions of dollars.

On May 25th, 2006, Lay was found guilty of several crimes, including six counts of conspiracy and

fraud by the jury.

Martin Shkreli, Martin Shkreli is an American entrepreneur and pharmaceutical executive.

In September 2015, Shkreli received widespread criticism when his company obtained the manufacturing

license for the anti parasitic drug Daraprim and raised its price by a factor of fifty six.

It went from 13 dollars and 50 cents to seven hundred and fifty dollars per pill.

This decision led to him being referred to by the media as the most hated man in America, and it began

his downfall.

Paula Deen.

Paula Deen is an American celebrity chef and former cooking show television host.

In June 2013, Deen was the target of a lawsuit alleging racial and sexual discrimination.

In the time between the filing of the lawsuit and the case being dismissed, Deen had cooking programs,

publishing deals and endorsement contracts canceled by Food Network, Smithfield Foods, Wal-Mart,

Target, QVC, Caesars Entertainment, Novo Nordisk, J.C. Penney, Sears, Kmart and her publisher

at the time, Ballantine Books.
