bone she found appeared to belong to a

small child the other being tested now

should be tied into one your earlier

cases pal

I'm you Standish not ready to come back

Debra a slain working at the Ferguson

Sugar Factory clubbed a man as he

approached her in her cabin the man

turned out to be her master Nicky -

Debra was tried for murder shortly

thereafter she would stand trial and be

sentenced to death fine news yes man

thank you you're welcome

all right so are we approach this with

the intent to get our would-be client

set free or we're going to try and get

on the lesser charge I just don't think

it's realistic somehow to be set free

we're talking murder here why do I

disapprove trying to avoid her from

getting home from her crime all right

we'll get her another one

oh you don't understand

all right how did it fall it's probably

just supposed to be edge of the table

and get a broom yeah

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

all right after killing her master

Deborah dragged the body into a raging

fire that she and a few other slaves had

built so in early the next morning she

gathered up the remaining bone fragments

and spread them throughout the field hey

huh wake up

I'm would not violence

ha the ashes would then be placed into

ground-up coffee and then served to the

rest of the slaves leaving that that

would give them power over their masters

what

that's a ground-up coffee just kidding I

mean it's the last part hmm hmm so funny

I'm gonna call it a night I'm tired

really yeah okay well fine I'll just

start noting our cases okay cool and

please what that that

pretty rare box headed back please thank

you

look guys like I told you before all

right I was at her house studying that

night and then I went home for the night

I came back the next day she was already

gone Rachel doctor is letting us talk to

her right now but as soon as we can

selling it back we're going to crack

this good good I really hope you do and

then you better catch a story together

because you're going to need it real

game-breaking you give me one hell of an

actor are you telling the truth

how can I speak to Rachel doctor's first

thing tomorrow morning should be cleared

let me speak with the caretaker I found

her good thinking

I used to come down here every Thursday

do maintenance on the sugar factory

keep transients out breaking in keep the

place tip-top much as a can anyway

Ferguson's on it yeah Joe and jr. matter

of fact they own all the Browning land

around it don't look like much now this

place is full life one time although

some say it still is if you get my

meaning

I get paid to leave it what I see thanks

George facts don't matter much what's in

here don't care which way you think but

it's always around

what are you gonna do with this place

I haven't darkness the idea although

there's some talk about jr. we opened

the place back up picking up words

grandad left oh I'm alright Holly and

everything thank you for asking you

don't have to worry about me okay

besides graduations practically in a few

days I'm a lot to concentrate on before

then besides you need to be there for

your mother

I know you do Molly I know you do and I

appreciate it I know we really don't

worry about me anymore everything's fine

now mm-hmm yes I wrote actually well you

know it what kind of coming back a

little bit later the police have got you

okay tell bill I say hi and I hope your

mom feels better okay

thanks for stopping by

are you like some water sure

by holding up not but my friend Anna's

going to try to enemy from time to time

at least until the Turner's get back ha

but after graduation I am going back to

New York

Rachel will you to think real hard tell

me everything about that night 9 degree

disappearance

ok take your time

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

hey I'm gonna vote off

[Music]

[Music]

here's a homicide detective you ever

experienced something like this it has

to be something so you're saying what

happened to you the other night there is

no explanation for it I thought maybe

they never will be did you go back to

the place where I found there's nothing

there

just an old derelict building waiting to

be torn to the ground you found this

next to belongs to a Melissa ward which

is a law student that went missing a few

years ago 20 school

[Music]

two days after she went missing her

blood-stained clothes was found dumped

in your home I was a clean water fill

the male suspect at large as you know

they must have been few years ahead of

me we're hoping he back to

ah detective Phillips but I really think

this thing wants me to go back I'm

guessing there has to be a reason or why

I ended up in that place

[Music]

[Music]

hey hey yeah I missed you

I mean let me see class today yeah I

wasn't feeling well yeah well you know

professor Martinez a year was an

extension on that law case we're working

on

oh really well how much longer do we

have the graduation I mean it's not that

much warmer yeah okay so you let you you

were to get back anything away yeah I

think so I have you member that

abandoned Factory I found it yeah I

thought he's drawing better I think

they're related to our case

[Music]

[Music]

you're letting your in the caterer

fine-tune with an old mortar kitchen

inflator all right ten points Rach we

got that part down already the factory

she's work at it's the same one I was

founded it's owned by jr. and Joe

Ferguson it's been in their family's in

1838 when it first opened families

around here go back several generations

you can't blame the Ferguson's for

atrocities committed by their ancestors

how'd you like to our case anyway I

don't know maybe it doesn't

I just think Clayton and Melissa we're

discovering something even beyond the

case blaze labor prison labor see for

yourself about here a lot of people died

on this Ferguson ain't about this town I

there have to be more to this right

think about it why else would I go into

that factory something wanted me to see

it

I never thought I'd see you and emo in

this place again that makes two of us I

am I never got a chance to thank you for

finding me things could have been a lot

worse

you hadn't oh I just happen to be

passing by the lifetime I've always had

a knack for that I would offer you a

chair for hair don't worry about it I

don't take up too much of your time

I am I just wanted to stop by also to

ask you something viewing for a law

student by the name of Clayton ward he

and his wife Melissa done its interview

with you here regarding this place

several years ago it's all here in mop

casing we're working on hmm I'm Emma Dan

Clayton was a quiet man kept to yourself

a lot

watch his words very carefully you're

required to disclose the fact that these

new tract homes are being built on a

former slave plantations and in certain

cases burial grounds I see none of that

there is it there know how much you're

looking for exactly what now no one

comes barging in here not looking for

something mm-hmm not looking for

anything we just want to run this by you

before we take it any further a lot of

us can be resolved easily outside the

courts with no fuss you damn right about

that yeah I'll tell you what when you're

ready to talk again give me a call

did they ever find her body oh no

but it's just a matter tan though it's a

shame when you take them so quickly

he brought me here what you're talking

about I think she was trying to tell me

something she she's the one who led me

to this place

how much you believe in the afterlife

things like that be honest with you I

never used to but lately lately that's

been changing you can't act on the show

and it wasn't the hacks

to a reason

my father always told us the death speak

and summons the game without even will

add me you just keep listening you'll

find out what you looking for what do

you think she wants for you if I'm

gotten killed oh yeah

very interesting case virtually any

media taught me a lot of new

developments actually forensics came

back and they found the results on the

remains you found

they claim it's at least a hundred years

old

you know in these parts the best see

around Sugar Land it's not uncommon for

cemeteries to be you know shifted once

your development comes in sometimes via

the dead get left behind so that's it

that's it they belonged to a woman that

passed away in the 1800 died of natural

causes

truthfully I was hoping it was most

Awards because I'm really tired of this

case well when I found something that

could be useful to you

soundin okay it was an old mock case

that Clayton Moore and his wife were

putting together and that's about

civilians past that haven't explained

yet interesting they already got a copy

okay well then any idea on why they

would have disappeared nothing I can

tell you so an open case and Clayton

Ward is going me suspect we have motive

disappearance the bloody clothes bite

next to a house doesn't take a genius to

figure this one out did you believe me

about what the other day when I told you

about what happened to me the night I

was taken did you even believe me no

absolutely no the logical explanation

for everything you just have to look

closer

what did you say be something spirits

took you back to the Sugar Factory

thanks particular to again trying to

figure that out

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

you

[Music]

there you go

you know thank you well what kind of

help you out there with little lady

does the name Clayton Lord mean anything

to you yeah either one a man I'm not

mistaken you were also one of the last

people to speak with him before he

vanished that some notes here regarding

a conversation looks like it would be

you jr. Ferguson and Clayton Ward on

them about three years ago to remember

that cripple

Michael was yesterday what about it what

can you tell me not a whole lot

he has live for working an old case

regarding a slave who had murdered her

master now man shared a name and a

bloodline with me daddy we got a meetin

about five minutes I'll take that long

you got three minutes well it also says

in this report that you've been failing

to disclose certain information is the

public especially regarding the land you

can building your track Tony Vaughn now

I'm still not catching what you're

getting out here I own that land I'm not

doing anything illegal by it never have

your building on land that was worked on

by prisoners and slave and what are some

of the hand is also burial sites to

complain

listen we turn a blind eye sometimes

because it's necessary yeah makes us

feel all woman's budget we're going to

further than that you start to get bad

feeling you're worried you're worried

that people would stop buying from you

if they knew the full truth that it hey

we got to go you know you are acting

like you are providing brand-new

information Clayton Moore believed the

same thing then why not disclose it

isn't what you're doing illegal you're

the lawyer you tell me now listen we can

continue this conversation at a later

date if you'd like but right now I've

got a meeting with some grown-up

turn cute kids yeah they are little pain

yes but they're good

oh my god hey before we go in I haven't

had a chance to pick up so it's gonna be

a little messy don't worry about it okay

I warned you come on in okay so I'm

gonna go get my laptop in the other room

take your spots at home here

you got the food esta you want you to

drink some some water some wine

nah I'm good sure nicely okay thank ya

right back

[Music]

hey here from the freshman yeah yeah

yeah I guess I was just over there I

couldn't get anything out of them though

you all right yeah no I'm fine I'm just

thinking I've been feeling kind of sick

lately all I can see winter feeling well

I think it's medication stress club but

yeah you know you know what don't even

worry about it I'm fine I'm afraid I'll

quit college

[Music]

really

uh oh I'd be fine I'm fine thank you all

right

here's Michigan at all other than

redwood what assignment now about them

you know what I'll call you oh hi you

tomorrow

I just thought I was over it

great height all right I haven't eat a

key to have it

I just okay so um tomorrow of you are

used to working chuckle and then then

tomorrow I will just meet up in class

prepared out oh yeah bye need to know

what Patrick ever a suspect in the

Melissa Ward case still suspect for your

disappearance though just trying to set

a reason to bring him in again

he knew Clayton and Melissa but I know

it's probably doesn't make any sense to

you right now but I'm telling you it's

like she was trying to lead me to her

and Clayton here the Kaituna working on

just so happened to be the exact same

case that they were working on before

they disappeared the fact that he knows

he was clearly circumstance doesn't

automatically make him a suspect

we legi to that factoring of the reason

for

[Music]

thattaboy you either

no come to suit that plummeting she got

resolved

hang that don't give you away

man I'll give them the radio first

Church point brother

you fucked paddy boy go home jr. you

guys can't be here without a warrant we

have probable cause or you do have a

seat

I don't want to sit make it easy on

yourself

right here to be good ah many people

think that when our Rachel we're not

here about Rachel Clayton a moose award

was less every phone I don't know what

maybe uh three years ago why you guys

are close right friends classmate you

don't seem too worked up over the

disappearance a long time ago

you know acquaintances still the final

suspect I think you know where he is

you're lying

why would I lie about something like

that

I'll nobody you tell me I told you when

we first met I find out the truth didn't

I yeah I'm gonna go get a burger you

guys you want anything I'm a vegetarian

healthy man good for you

[Applause]

be smart so you know the old sort of

factory on sixth yeah Rachel it sound so

want to tell me what you were doing

there the other day

because when you were there the other

day

come on yeah well I wasn't there I was

like I go for walk behind the building

and I'll declare my head clear your head

at an advantage inspector now cycle for

walks behind the mills in there so what

you walk behind the building you have to

clear my head and clear your head what I

said

that way you buried the body that's not

what it is he's not clean twice and you

buried her the Sugar Factory

listen if you're going to accuse me of

something and bring it in

if not this conversation it's over

hi

paddy hi I'm Rachel I don't think we've

officially met

yeah oh pardon my poor manners my hands

are dirty that's okay that's a nice

slide Oh kind of you to say been the

family for generations

you showed a lot of interest around here

exactly our doing out here and yeah an

old murder case about it slave from the

1800s

Oh partly anyway it's why I went to

visit your dad what do you care about

some slave been dead for over a century

and a half or because nobody even knows

about it and they don't even know about

the slave labor the fusion factories

still can't quite get what you're aiming

at is it for school you saying that

Turner house don't you how do you know

my first deal actually daddy let me do

the entire deal by myself mm-hmm it's a

nice place isn't it yeah you don't want

that to family member remains right yeah

you missed something we built the house

Wow happens so what'd you expect

I actually would like to schedule

another interview with you and your dad

if that's alright that's not much

you should come in sometime maybe next

time

I'll save a seat for you you find the

answers you're looking for

one might not be looks on the entire

town loves your attic we all still miss

her we're not asking you to forget about

her that's impossible but just come in

it'll help I don't know face MELAS

I'm in the fourth

it takes time I know you can come all

this way to talk about church I gotta

warn you sugar factory he helped me get

it

shortly it gets their keys you can use

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

hi come on in and make yourself at home

I just have to turn off the oven Wow

place looks just like I remembered it

hey Bill and Molly around know a lot of

town will be back tomorrow afternoon

I'll catch up with old bill

[Music]

you know guys a little worried about all

this top probably buried all that

[Music]

you

[Music]

I mean he really I don't know pretty

rundown

yeah it looks deserted yeah they must

offer up the blood

I'm not gonna take it what was that Oh

what do you know

did you worry

so it it'll be fine and out get down on

your fucking knees

okay

who are you planning on doing Clayton

nothing we just want to go we can forget

everything please just let us go hey

there's the dead slave property how you

gonna feel when you meet them on the

other side beautiful place isn't it time

to keep it that way

- good luck I'm ruining our hot country

in her
