the island Republic of Porto Santo is

often called the pearl of the Caribbean

Sea of course we often forget that a

pearl is the disease of the oyster the

offered was dangerous enough because it

meant scouting around the well-guarded

get the evidence they wanted would be to

risk death

pier

as I moved in toward the shore I was

tempted to surface to get my bearings

but I knew better than to risk it
