In this lecture,

I'm going to show you how to start working with Shopify.

As I told you before,

Shopify is very easy And this is one of the most important reasons why I chose to work with

Shopify and why I chose to build my stores using this e commerce platform.

So Shopify is very easy and to start working with it,

you just have to sign up.

This is the Shopify home page.

You will find yelling in the course description.

You just have to sign up to Shopify and doing get 14 days trying.

You can use these 14 days trying to learn Shopify and to get familiar with it.

Then you can start your own store or you can choose this two weeks to be able to build your

store.

It's up to you.

click on it and start building your store with me.

So here you just have to enter your email address.

It doesn't need to be your professional email address doesn't need to be your story email

address.

You can choose any of my email address to use as I told you before,

We are going toe by a in a professional email address.

So don't worry.

We are going to change this email address when we go to store.

So choose any email address.

You can even build two stores on the same email address.

So you write with email address in here and you click on start.

So you just have to click in here.

So now we are on this page.

You enter your password in here and here.

You entered your store.

Name you surname doesn't have to be your professional store name because we are going to

buy a branded domain name.

You can write anything in here,

This store name.

We show up in your shop.

If I,

um el the one we are going to change by buying at branded domain name so you can put

anything in here If for any reason you don't want to buy a branded domain name,

you have toe put your professionals ther name in here to look a bit acceptable.

But as I said before,

I recommend you to buy a branded domain name.

So in here,

I'm going to write my store name.

Let's say I'm going to build a store that sells knitting stuff.

I'm going to call it my knitting store.

Sure,

you have to choose a more smart title but for not choosing.

Okay,

The start is already existing.

I'm going to choose my anything shop,

for example.

It's available and I'm going to click on Create your store.

So now we're in this page.

Shopify is finalizing our store.

You just have to wait for a few seconds.

Your store is ready.

You just have to enter this information.

Are you already selling?

You can say no.

I'm not selling products.

Yes.

Do you have something to sell?

I will say no.

I'm just playing around with Shopify.

What is your current revenue?

I will say zero.

Um you can keep this this way and you click on next.

Here you fill your first name and everything.

You can also enter your business email business website in here if you have one.

So this is my phone number.

I'm going to click on Enter my store and this is it.

This is my story.

My Shopify account.

It's it's now live and I can work with it if you are familiar with WordPress or even if you

if you have built any website using WordPress,

you know that it's a bit complicated to do hosting and all this stuff with Shopify,

you don't have to worry.

You just have to sign up.

So here you have the dashboard.

You have all the options in here.

We are going to talk about each one of them through this course.

So if you click in here,

you can say your store.

So now your store is live,

but it's not active toe.

Activate your store.

You have to remove this parcel,

Your online store is password protected with clicked toe.

Unlock your store.

You have to enter your credit card information.

You don't have to pay anything,

but you just have to enter your credit card information.

If you don't want to enter your credit card information,

it's OK.

You can benefit from the 14 days of trial without looking your store.

You can unlock it.

After that,

you can see your store.

But you can start selling without unlocking your store.

So I'm going to show you how to a local store.

you need to pick a plan.

enter credit card information and our local store.

you can do it now or you can do it after it's up to you.

You go to settings,

you go to general,

you scrolled out in here and then here you chose your time zone.

There are so many options.
