for choosing Tammy Faye?

Well, in high school, I found, like,

my community at a Baptist church in town.

And even, like, after coming
out, it was, like, a group of people

that I felt like I could be myself with.

And I just feel like
Tammy Faye kind of, like,

created those spaces for people in a time

and in a place
where it was not okay to be gay.

I'm very shocked to hear that
my bestie Vivian is very religious.

I didn't see it coming.

I may be a bit of
an anti-religious person.

But, like, to hear her story and
how she engages with religion,

it's... you know, you can't
always make assumptions.

My relationship
with religion is really bad.

When I was, like, 11 my family
sent me to a seminary school

- to become a priest.

In a way to, like,
convert me to become straight.

And, like, literally it's, like, torture.

I wasn't allowed to be who I am.

Childhood is supposed to be
the start of the journey

that you want to take,
but I started off so late,

because I felt like I was

And our pastor lied to my mom
about the camp

And she came get me, was so mad.

We never talk about it.

I don't have a relationship with religion.

It's a really trigger with me.

My parents raised me,

because they're like, when you're 18

you can choose what you like.

My grandparents were the ones who, like,
