Welcome back.

In this video, I'm going to teach you how to promote your book on the Pinterest platform.

For those of you who don't know, Pinterest is actually a search engine and not just a social media

platform.

So unlike Facebook, where once you post your content, your content will probably get buried under

a lot of new content on Pinterest.

It's not like that.

You can post something and it will be on the platform for years to come.

So I am here on my Pinterest account and as you can see, there are a couple of pens where once you

click on the pen, it will most likely lead to a blog post or a sales page.

So, for example, this one, this is a T-shirt.

If I click onto here, it will lead me onto this website where I can probably buy the shirt.

So in the same way, we are going to do the same with our books.

To give you an idea of Pinterest as a search platform, let's type in what?

And here you will see blog posts that lead to books.

So over here you can see more search results.

Depending on what you're looking for.

So let's say I click on this once I click here, it will lead me to the Amazon website where you can

buy the book.

So we're going to do the same to one of our books.

OK, so over here I have a book.

This is a coloring book that I created for dads.

It was supposed to be for Father's Day.

This is how it looks like.

And here is a sample of what you can see inside.

OK, so we want to promote this book, right?

So to do that, we have to first create a pen like what you can see here.

So you go to Cannava, click on Create Design, Choose Pinterest PIN.

OK, so now we are here on the side.

You can design your pen and on the left side you can see a variety of Pinterest templates that you can

choose from to help you create your pen.

So let's go with.

This one, for example, and here you can move the Timbits around or remove it, change the font over

here, OK?

So it's all up to you how you want to design your pin.

I have already created mine over here.

And now we are ready to upload this spin on Pinterest.

So let's go back to Pinterest.

Let's click on it.

Appen, let's upload.

Are pinned over here.

And remember, Pinterest is a search engine, so you want your title to be something that users are

already searching for.

So if you open Pinterest in a new tab,

let's search for adult coloring pages is a search result.

So let's continue with, I think, adult coloring books, adult coloring pages where I don't think we

just finished.

So let's go with adult coloring books.

Let's put that in our title.

Let's also continue searching for, let's say, coloring pages for adults.

Let's go back to our pen and make it fit for adults since the book is about the fathers.

Let's check what people are searching for comes to fathers.

So they are searching for Father's Day ideas, Father's Day gift ideas from daughter.

So we're going to go with this Father's Day ideas, Father's Day gift ideas.

OK, so that's done, let's go back to our Amazon page, let's that's the destination link over here.

And right now we are going to select where we are going to pin this to.

So on Pinterest, you can create a variety of boards to organize your photos or organize whatever you

say.

So I already have a board which says book suggestions, ready to publish it over here.

And that's it.

Your pin is now saved now all you have to do is wait for people to find your pin or you can also create

Pinterest ads like Facebook ads and promote your work.
