and treat her with meds

to lower her intracranial
pressure if it's high.

And repeat the CT in four hours.

Sooner. I want to know
if there's any changes.

Nic is strong. She's healthy.

I've had patients make it
through injuries like this.

is high.

Then we start her
on hypersaline...

Uh, we start her on hypertonic
saline, Lasix and mannitol.

to put her
in a phenobarbital coma.

until the sedatives wear off.

How can I know she's improving

if she's being flooded
with sedatives?

- We rely
on monitoring parameters.

Unfortunately,
despite our meds,

the pressure in your
wife's brain is still too high.

in a medically-induced coma,
