When I've talked about sobriety
or my struggles...

For a long time, I struggled
with alcohol, drugs.

And it wasn't an easy journey
to get sober.

I was 18 the first time.

It used to feel like
it was something

that people judged me for,

and some people
probably still do.

But, if anything,

that scarlet letter has
turned into a badge of honor

because I fought,
and I came through,

and I'm proud of who I am now.

I'm here
to represent strong women.

And I know I wouldn't be able
to be the fighter that I am

had I not fought so hard
in my past.

To reach each station,

you'll trek, coasteer,
and navigate

through various terrain.

This is not a race
to the finish.

It's about
collecting your thoughts

when it comes time
to answer questions.

Each correct answer
earns your team a ball.

And the more balls
you have earned,

the more attempts you will get

in the final stage
of this adventure,

where you will roll your balls
down a narrow track.

The team to land their ball

in the spot
with the highest point value

wins the adventure.

I love the fourth quarter.

to get on the other side

I don't have a problem sitting

I had a team at every single
point in this competition.

- Uh, I got emotional.

- Because we are a family,

I think we all shared this hurt
and excitement for each other.

man, I felt like
I knew her already

hearing Coach talk about her
so much.

Jodie was really taken by it.

- I'm real homesick.

I don't want my kids

to think I'm choosing something
over them,

that somehow earning money
for a charity

or coming to be on TV
is more important

than showing up
for their soccer games

where they're scoring goals.

Those are the moments that
I'm always there for, you know?

I want to drop everything
and run to my family, so...

- My oldest daughter, Diaymon,
she is my everything.

And then, my son gets on.

My heart was like...

And there's messages
I sent them, right?

My son tells me all the time,

And it's like,

I just always want you to know

And I think everyone is saying
the exact, same thing.

and he-he sort of repeated
what I know they think of me.

It's like, "Mom, we're counting
on you not to give up.
