Spy Episode 12

You're watching the office well, right?

Watch over Hwang Ki Chul well. If he goes around, you will be responsible--

What? Who?

He's with Kim Sung Hye?

No, leave them alone.

I can just send them off to the other world together nicely then.

We'll be done here soon, so just look after them so that they won't be able to run away.

I'll deal with them then.

Kim Sun Woo...

Are you thinking of killing him?

Isn't that a given?

If we have the item in our hands, we don't need to keep him alive anymore, do we?

Plus,

he already knows too much.

For those reasons, his death is certain.

And...

It's even better that he dies.

If he lives, he has to deal with investigations and torture. Then he'd have to prepare for his mother's funeral, too.

Shouldn't you be thankful to me that you won't need to see him for long?

We have to let him live.

Why?

To Kim Sun Woo,

do you have some affection left?

Let Kim Sun Woo live.

So we can be in peace.

Tell me.

The NIS

will be pursuing Kim Sun Woo from now on.

But if Kim Sun Woo dies, they will be pursuing the killer instead.

We just have to leave Kim Sun Woo alone for now, to be pursued,

and in the middle of that, then we leave South Korea.

If I let him live,

will Kim Sun Woo stay still? He'd probably annoyingly follow us.

Even if he does, he won't last long.

Because aside from Kim Sung Hye, Kim Sun Woo has other family members.

If the NIS captures his family,

he won't be able to move either.

If a problem arises,

you can kill him then.

If you kill him now, you're just making things unnecessarily bigger.

OK.

Your words are right.

Soothe him well so that he won't be able to do anything.

If he starts doing absurd things,

then we have no choice but to kill him.

He's coming.

Comrade Yoon Jin,

let's do well.

I brought what you want,

so let her go now.

Wow,

you did bring it.

You've worked hard.

Send Yoon Jin out first.

Here.

Don't get agitated.

We don't need to be uselessly pulling out guns on one another.

Have some good time with your girlfriend.

Are you okay?

Are you hurt anywhere?

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, Yoon Jin.

I feel suffocated. Really.

I'm sorry, it's because I strongly--

No.

Kim Sun Woo, you,

you are suffocating.

Lee Yoon Jin.

You still don't know?

I am also from that side.

What?

I'm on the same side as Hwang Ki Chul!

They'll be here soon.

You...

How did you... Hwang Ki Chul...

Wait.

What are you talking--

From when we first met, until now,

it was a meeting according to the plan that was ordered.

To meet NIS agent Kim Sun Woo

was Hwang Ki Chul's order.

You must be surprised.

I'm also surprised. Because it was easier than I thought.

No, how

did you not suspect even once? Didn't you think it was strange?

Why would I like you?

We don't even have one similarity.

Lee Yoon Jin. - They got the item.

We need to settle things between us now as well.

I'm also becoming tired of this anyway.

Look me in the eye and tell me.

I can't believe a word you're saying.

Whatever you're saying right now, our feelings-- - Jo Seo Yeon!

Do you know why she got killed?

Do you remember the words you told me the day before Jo Seo Yeon died?

"There is an important operation."

You...

What?

Should I tell you more?

Do you know your mother and Hwang Ki Chul are going to die now?

Before she dies, go now.

Protect your mom.

Stop with the love game.

Kim Sung Hye...

is at Goryeo Capital.

Hurry and leave.

Yoon Jin,

about the words "I love you"...

were they also just lies?

I have

never loved you.

Look at your sweat. Your body must have become weak after the accident.

Grab it.

Caught it.

Don't do it. Don't do anything dangerous.

I have never loved you.

Comrade Oh Tae Shik has the hard drive.

Thank you for reporting to me.

As expected, you're excellent. You know the person who really understands you.

I will not forget about this, and repay you through your family.

Who are you talking to right now?

What about Sun Woo? Is he safe?

Is Kim Sun Woo alive?

Yes.

He's coming to find Kim Sung Hye.

Thank you for your work all this time.

Your work is done, so go home whenever you want.

You have 5 voicemail message.

First message.

Lee Yoon Jin is a spy sent by Hwang Ki Chul.

She approached you from the very beginning because they are after you.

Mom,

just how much do you know?

Up until when did you think you could hide this from me?

Sun Woo is really alright, right? He's not hurt anywhere?

Shouldn't you worry about Kim Sun Woo's future life more than that?

Even if he's alive, it wouldn't be cheap.

Sung Hye, you're also a problem.

What are you going to do now? Whether you kill me or you turn yourself in, there's no way out for you now.

If not, there's also that way of us working together.

We need to get the hard drive in our hands first, so we can save your son and your family, don't you think?

Think carefully. Whose words are better?

I'm in the parking lot now. Where are you?

Eun Ah, over here!

Don't come here, just look for the key.

I want to pee so badly.

What is this now?

You should just ask for help from passerbys.

I'm embarrassed. I'm still a spy.

Ah, seriously.

Hey, hey, Eun Ah. What is Team Leader doing now?

It's no joke. I don't know exactly why,

but he's gone out of his mind asking to find where Kim Sun Woo is.

Sunbae, did Kim Sun Woo really do all of this?

Did he do this to you too? Really?

He doesn't seem like a bad guy though.

Hey, in our line of work, finding out who the nice guy is and who the bad guy is

is the hardest thing to do.

We have to slowly find that out. What are you doing and not looking for the key?

There's nothing here though.

Hyungnim! I have the hard drive!

It's too easy I can't help but yawn.

I'm going back to the North right away, how about you?

Are you not thinking of catching the supervisor?

We can just deal with that rat bastard later.

Before that, I have to deal with the rat bastard in front of me first.

There's another rat bastard here.

Make your choice here.

Number 1. You die here.

Number 2. Go back to prison camp and live like a dog again.

When I came down to the South, I swore that

I will die a free man.

Okay. Number 1, it is.

What about Kim Sung Hye then?

It's a bit iffy to bring her to the North with me.

Should I kill her with you here?

I will not die. No, I cannot die. Definitely not now.

This ahjumma does not know any better, I see.

Ahjumma, if you get shot by a gun, you die.

How about we do it like this?

If you kill Hwang Ki Chul with this,

I will spare you.

Give me the hard drive. Hurry.

This?

That's a bit difficult. What are you going to do if I don't give it to you?

Fucking scared me!

Kim Sung Hye, you're truly a bitch I can't trust.

Kids! Send these two off well.

Be careful with the blood. You don't want to get hit.

What are you doing?

Since you met good parents, you don't know how the world works.

The world runs through money now, you know.

What about the password?

What to do? You want to find the money, but you don't know the password.

Number 1. You tell me the password. Number 2--

No one would tell me the password. I'm just here on an errand--

Wait! Wait!

Hyungnim! Wait! I'll ask! I'll ask them!

I can just call my dad and ask him.

Forget it. Your father won't know either.

Doesn't it remind you of the past?

After I was betrayed by you, I was always ready for a betrayal.

Now, it's good to hit first,

in order to not get chucked out.

Is this the police? A person has died.

It hasn't been too long.

It seems that your son is alive and has arrived.

A... ali-?

Ah!

I made the call a while ago, but it seems you haven't arrived yet.

It's nearby, I think. Please come quickly.

Yes. It's murder.

Team Leader Song Joong Hyuk

Hello? Sun Woo where are you right now?

The laptop you brought with you has valuable information that shouldn't be carelessly touched. Hurry back with it right away.

I don't have the hard drive in my hands right now.

I used it to save a person.

I will go search for it again.

What did you just sa-?!

Hey!

Listen well to what I say now.

If you don't have it and come back now right away, your whole house will be seized, understood?

Having your mother, father and you be arrested for espionage isn't even a hard thing to do, so think carefully about it.

You're a commie, aren't you?

Weren't you recruited since you were in China? Wasn't your dead colleague even killed by your hand?

Team Leader, you won't come off this incident clean, either.

Just give me a little time.

I will come back to the office with the hard drive with me.

If you just don't mess with my family,

I will do as you say, Team Leader.

I will call you again.

Hey! Hello?

Did you come?

Mister! Mister, what are you doing?

I came to collect the bowls. I can come in with you, right? There's not a lot anyway.

Ah, never mind. Go quickly.

Hey, Mister! Wait a moment!

Look here! Look at me, okay?

My mom

The number you have dialed is temporarily-

Hwang Ki Chul

The number you are calling is unavailable.

There will be a way, a way.

A person who knows where Hwang Ki Chul has gone to...

Yoon Jinie ♡

You said you would make an effort this time. Where did you go?

There was an urgent matter outside...

Bastard...

Gradually he should have been ditched.

Boss, really, please give me a little bit more time. I will really make everything well-organized.

You said you didn't know, didn't you?

Don't you know that the mere existence of the hard drive is a secret?

If we start an official investigation and catch Kim Sun Woo,

the word will spread everywhere. Who will be accountable for that?

There will be nothing like that, I promise. I will do my best to retrieve the hard drive and shut Kim Sun Woo's mouth.

If you make a mistake this time, you'll die by Kim Hyun Tae, that bastard's, hands.

Yes.

You haven't been caught about the supervisor, right?

If even that becomes open, this won't end with just that.

I'm managing the things related to the supervisor myself, so nobody knows. You don't have to worry.

Sunbae, what are you doing--

Where is he? - Huh?

Ah, yes. In our hospital, Room #502.

Put all of these on Kim Sun Woo. Kim Hyun Tae is an idiot to begin with

that he won't think of it much even if you do it that way.

Yes, I understand.

Geez, seriously, why are you acting like this? Why?

What is it?

502.

What?

I'm going to make a report about the situation, so don't spread word about it.

Do it discreetly the best you can, and catch Kim Sun Woo.

Yes.

Officially, nothing has happened.

You and I have not talked. I haven't seen anything like a hard drive.

Everything that will happen from hereon

will all be your decision and responsibility.

I understand.

Oh, it's me. Have you tracked Kim Sun Woo's cellphone? How did it go?

It's not coming up. - It's not?

Yes.

Team Leader, it might be because Kim Sun Woo is an ex-field agent, he already took some countermeasures beforehand.

Find him. Find him no matter what, kill him and retrieve the hard drive. You hear me?

Don't keep him alive.

You must kill him.

Mom, it's me.

Mom, people will be visiting the house in a bit.

They are people I sent, so don't worry, and just go with them.

Just take important things with you.

The situation over here is not so good.

A fight has broken, and we might get involved.

Yeah, I'll tell you more when I meet you.

Move. I have to go.

After turning my family like this,

you're just leaving? I can't let you go like this.

What do I have to do then?

You know where Hwang Ki Chul is right now, right?

He disappeared and took my mother with him. Tell me where he is.

I don't know either. Move.

PEOPLE HAVE DIED!

One of the people you were with a while ago has been shot and killed when I got to Goryeo Capital.

If you leave like this, some people might get hurt again.

Hurry and tell me, please.

That's why I can't tell you.

The agents that came down have now been broken.

We're in a situation where we don't know whose getting the real orders from the Party,

just me talking to you about it will put me in danger.

I don't care about that. I just need to find my mother.

My family is as important as yours!

I'm sorry, but I have to go.

I'm sorry, but I can't just let you go like this.

I don't want to fight with you. Go.

I don't want to fight with you as well. Just tell me where Hwang Ki Chul is.

Yoon Jin, even though the situation has turned out like this, I don't hate you.

That's why you, too, to me... JUST FOR ONCE, BE HONEST! HWANG KI CHUL!

Just tell me where he is.

If I tell you,

would you believe me?

After deceiving you all this time, you still trust me?

No. I can't trust you.

Take me to where Hwang Ki Chul is. I'll let you go then.

Sun Woo, you're playing dirty more than I thought.

I guess you don't know me that well then.

Are you looking for someone?

Yes. Is space vacant?

Yes. We've always been using this room alone.

Is this grandmother a family of yours?

She's my mother.

I'm busy. Call later.

Team Leader is looking for you. Where are you?

Make your voice louder.

Don't mind the Team Leader, and just do whatever you want. That bastard is soon going to turn into an idiot, in my opinion.

Sunbae!

Funeral Home, Mortuary

Yeah, I'm coming back in a bit.

Ah, yes. He's in our hospital, Room Number #502.

Put all these on Kim Sun Woo. Kim Hyun Tae is an idiot to begin with,

he won't think of it much even if you put it that way.

What I can't do... put it on Kim Sun Woo.

Basement 1st floor: Funeral Hall, Mortuary #1, Mortuary #2, Mortuary #3, Mortuary 4... Basement 2nd floor: Chapel of Rest, Burial dressing room, 101-107, 201-207

Tell me where Hwang Ki Chul is. If you tell me, I'll let you go.

Why would Hwang Ki Chul take your mother? It's because she's of use.

What do you think Hwang Ki Chul wants?

What's inside the hard drive.

That's right. Hwang Ki Chul wants the password.

And among the people close to you, there's an expert on cracking passwords.

I thought you were an NIS agent, but you couldn't even notice that.

Now you know where he is, untie this now!

Sun Woo!

Honey, where are you?

What's going on? I can't reach you.

Kim Woo Suk, do you want to save Sung Hye?

Don't say anything! That guy--

Honey! Honey!

You heard her voice, right? She's fine. As of yet.

We'll be arriving at your office soon, so please prepare your password-cracking program.

Don't tell your employees we're coming.

Actually, just tell them we're from the NIS.

Son

Aren't you too late?

Hello? Are you alright? What are you doing--

I'm okay. How about there?

It's a fuss here, as they're trying to find you.

I'm on my way to Hedge Technet. Hwang Ki Chul is also going to be there,

so tell the tracking team to come and catch him.

Plate number is 74-4494.

Hey, Kim Sun Woo. What are you on all of a sudden--

Eun Ah, I'm asking you.

Hedge Tech Net. Turn the car around!

I understand.

Congratulations for doing well on your exam.

I love you very much, Young Seo.

Where is my wife?

She's outside.

If you just crack the code, she'll be freed.

Let's do it fast. We have no time.

Sun Woo.

Kim Sun Woo.
