all doing hope you're all doing really

well and having a really great day in

this video i'm gonna talk about is it

still worth it to get into gpu mining in

2022 this year there are a lot of big

milestones that are going to happen and

i also do want to touch on just some

other aspects regarding crypto mining or

gpu mining in general and i have a lot

of questions here that i wrote down that

i thought would pertain to a lot of new

people coming in

and may have questions about it or may

never have thought about it before so

i'm gonna go through a lot this video is

probably gonna be decently long and i

will go through each question one by one

all right guys so every question here is

kind of in order of importance that i

think in my opinion so the first one is

should you be worried about your

electrical slash expenses before you go

into gpu slash crypto mining and the

reason why i answered this question

first is because it is very important on

your electrical

expenses what your cost is depending

where you live and i know that there are

many different countries that have high

electrical cost now this is a graph that

was based on in 2020 i know that there

have been

some countries that have gone up in

price in terms of electrical costs so

just take these numbers with a grain of

salt these are just general numbers that

i'm going by but generally it seems like

a lot of the european countries and

maybe some countries in asia that are

high electrical costs you know we've got

uk over here 24 cents i actually heard

something recently the uk are actually

bumping up their electrical cost for

residential miners up to like 30 or 35

cents pretty high well i think that's

gonna go up into like germany numbers

unless germany has also gone up in the

cost per kilowatt hour here which is

honestly very tough right as i will show

some profitability numbers based on you

know let's say 35 cent per kilowatt hour

and so on but as we go down depending

where you live here we got usa which is

average about 15 cents we got canada

which is 10 cent per kilowatt hour and

it looks like we got other countries

here india is pretty low down there

mexico russia

sixth sense wow but anyways just to give

you guys that perspective of not

everyone will be able to you know crypto

mine because their electrical cost will

be a huge factor it is definitely a huge

factor when it comes to getting into

mining especially if you want to do it

at scale and you know if let's just for

example

we got a 30 70 lhr card which is a

pretty easy to get i would say available

gpu nowadays because they have the lhr

moniker on them but you can see here you

know generally right now as we're mining

ethereum it seems like the most

profitable coin on this 3070 lhr at a

dollar 29 after

30 cent per kilowatt hour actually let

me just do 35 let me just see

uh let's see 35 cents per kilowatt hour

oh okay so you're going to be making

about a dollar 13 a day after your

electrical if you had free electric of

course 2.22 cents a day so that's that's

another thing if you had free electric

which i don't think many people have

unless you're renting but then you know

if you start mining at a rental place

then the landlord is going to be like

why did the electrical bill just go up

like a thousand dollars or something

like that so anyways you can see that

generally you know mining right now is

profitable but there are some things to

consider which i will talk about in

question number three regarding ethereum

moving to proof of stake okay so we'll

get into that we'll get into that but

going on with question number one

regarding the electrical cost is that if

you are going to be mining

as a hobby or as a business okay so

that's one thing to consider especially

with you know taxes tax reasons because

when you are able to mine as let's say a

business right then you'll be able to

have expenses right and you can offset

that against the income that you are

making regarding the mining rewards so

that helps a lot right in terms of

expensing the electrical your hardware

all that good stuff but then you know

let's say you're just a hobbyist miner

with just one graphics card then it may

not make sense for you to make a

business off you know you just have

maybe one or two gpus for mining then

yeah you can just do it as a hobby hobby

miner and this is not financial advice

or anything please always go talk to

your tax professional cpa what not

always do your due diligence when it

comes to tax time as i do have about i

think 30 percent viewers that are in the

usa and so tax is very important

especially with other countries around

going back to just profitability here

let's just do 10 cent per kilowatt hour

on a 30 70 lhr

and we can see here now with 10 cent per

kilowatt hour for those that have that

type of electrical cost they are able to

generate right a dollar 93 a day or if

they had free electric two dollars and

24 cents so you can see the difference

there between 10 cents and 30 cent per

kilowatt hour it's a pretty big

difference right on how much you're

going to be paying depending which gpus

you have right depending on the

efficiency and whatnot so for those that

are that have lower electrical costs

they are able to stay competitive in the

market in mining and essentially will be

able to generate more profit assuming

assuming they are selling every day okay

so that's one thing i don't know very

many miners who sell their profits every

day i would say maybe big industrial

miners could potentially do that as they

have very large expenses but as

residential miners such as myself we

don't need to sell every day and so

these numbers do also change all the

time right so that's that's something to

you know just consider and i will talk

about that type of you know cost

analysis or you know roi all that kind

of stuff later on in this video so let's

just end off you know regarding electric

it just depends where you live and if

you have high electrical cost it may not

make sense for you to mine because you

will incur that high cost that you have

to pay for your electrical company so

that will suck that will hurt your

profits per se and you know you'll have

to sell the crypto unless you are able

to pay your electrical bill out of your

pocket but that will be a bigger risk on

your finances of course because you're

you're paying a lot more on your

electrical cost and if you're doing

you're going to be doing that out of

pocket then you know those costs are

going to keep adding up over time and

you know if you you know let's say the

market goes down your holdings go down

you know it's going to get pretty tight

but if you have the long-term personal

conviction your belief in cryptocurrency

in the long term then it may not matter

right which i do want to go into that

right now guys let's go into the next

question what is your personal

conviction with cryptocurrency this

question is really big because i believe

that in order to if you're going to be

getting into gpu mining it does matter

on what you believe where cryptocurrency

is gonna go in the future not only in

the price but also the fundamental

aspect of this decentralized network and

with other coins out there as well

there's a lot of new technologies that

has come about especially with the

within the last couple years and so

whether or not you know your conviction

of whether cryptocurrency is to make

money or is to believe in the

technological factor of how it can help

with providing a financial service of

some sort to the whole world as a whole

then that is going to be life-changing

so tying that in with you know in terms

of the market cap of different things

different asset classes around the world

in companies or asset classes like gold

you can see here gold is number one in

terms of market cap at 11.6 trillion

dollars so in terms of the price

appreciation for bitcoin we're at 835

billion right now in terms of market cap

and that's that's nothing to scoff at

that is a lot but is there potential and

this is not financial advice is there

potential that bitcoin and

cryptocurrency as a whole can be worth a

lot more someday so my personal

conviction is that cryptocurrency in the

future 5 10 15 20 years from now

is gonna be worth and have a lot more

value in the long run and that you know

another big thing is that bitcoin has

the scarcity factor as there's only 21

million bitcoins that can be created and

of course we can't forget the underlying

technology of bitcoin or cryptocurrency

as a whole is the blockchain there is

basically a general ledger that we can

see on the blockchain that you can see

all of the transactions and all the

coins and where they're going it

essentially cannot be counterfeit let's

just say someone had a money printer at

home and they're just printing off cash

out of nowhere and spending that

somewhere but with bitcoin or

cryptocurrency you you cannot do that

because you either

it can be done with mining right with

gpus or staking or uh there's a few

other coins out there that have had

pre-mines or you know depending on if

they had icos whatever what not but as a

miner like myself i like gpu mining and

so cryptocurrency in the long term is

going to gain even more value and so

getting into it right now i believe that

it's just going to be worth a lot more

in the future and that is not financial

advice but that is basically my personal

conviction

with cryptocurrency and yeah with that

underlying belief i think that trumps

everything else honestly everything else

but of course electrical costs is

definitely a big factor when it comes to

when when you're mining of course but

this second one here what is your

personal conviction with crypto is

something that you'll have to ask

yourself and what your long-term or even

short-term goals is as mining can be a

form of passive income right if you want

to sell every week or every month or

something but i'll touch on that later

and so let's get into the third question

and that is ethereum is moving to proof

of stake will that hurt my profits does

it matter and honestly this question is

probably the biggest question that

everyone asks especially those that are

even in mining for the past year and

those are for those that are even

getting into mining this year are

probably going to see this question be

like what does that mean or i haven't

heard of that before but this

is a pretty big milestone for 2022 as we

have we haven't confirmed though that

the ethereum merge is gonna happen in

june of this year which is in about four

months as of recording this video and so

i just want to dive in pretty deep

regarding this topic as it is a really

big topic so for those that don't know

the merge on ethereum right eventually

ethereum mainnet will merge with the

beacon chain to the proof of stake

system right this will mark the end of

proof-of-work for ethereum and and that

full transition to proof-of-stake all

right so this has been in talks now for

a couple years and ethereum has had many

delays regarding this and with sharding

right there's been a lot of delay on

that eth2 they've also been renaming

the naming scheme as well here so that's

not going to be called eth2 anymore but

this is basically the path

that has basically happened or is gonna

happen right the merge they said they're

gonna happen in 2022. obviously we

haven't had a confirmed date yet okay so

i will definitely update you all in

multiple videos coming up when that will

happen and if they've confirmed that the

merge is going to happen in june of 2022

because the difficulty bomb is going to

activate in june of this year 2022 or

then if the merge is going to be delayed

then they'll have to push out the

difficulty bomb thus the block times

will then come back down to about 13

seconds per block which what it is now

now let's touch on just what happens

after the merge if the merge happens

this year mid-june in about four months

as of recording this video that means

there is a lot of hash rate that is

gonna be essentially either turned off

or is gonna move to a bunch of other

coins other proof of work coins that are

gpu mineable and probably uh this going

on what to mine is probably a better

representation of different coins that

are gpu minable because what to mine.com

shows the gpus that you can use for

mining and it shows the relative

profitability of these different coins

right so we got rio we got equilibria we

got flux on here it shows nice hash bit

tube cash zero you know there's a whole

bunch of different coins here so the

prospect here that i want to touch on

and potential is that and it's not

financial advice is that once the merge

happens right there's going to have to

be all of this hash rate is going to be

moving over to

other coins there's a lot of graphics

cards mining on ethereum right now and

there is also that other side of it of

asics on ethereum network right those

asics are purpose built only combine the

eth hash algorithm there are other eth

hash algorithms out there okay so if

those asics right let's say let's just

say for example 50 of the network on

ethereum is asics

so let's just say

that 50 of those asics are gonna go to

let's say ethereum classic or maybe

uh cork chain or metaverse as these

coins are ethash algorithms so those

asics can move over to those ethash

coins callisto ether gem so that's right

that's another thing to think about

that's basically if you do the math here

of all these different hash rates for

these other eth coins and if you did the

math of 50

of the ethereum network hash rate which

is over one petahash if my math is

correct there one peta hash is a lot so

let's say half of that is going to be

500

tera hash 500 terahash per se so with

that right 500 terahash where is that

gonna go it's gonna move over probably

to all these other coins but these other

coins right now are not in the terra

hash so that is definitely going to

potentially render them pretty much

unprofitable by a huge margin and so the

scenario as of now as of the current

prices of these coins if all that hash

rate moved over to all these other coins

it would render it useless right and i

didn't touch on the other 50 of the

network hash rate which could be gpus

right the graphics cards which are

commodity hardware are able to mine

pretty much are very versatile in mining

all these other coins that you see on

what to mine and so that means the other

50 of this network hash rate is going to

go into these other coins potentially

and as of the prices of these coins

right now with the current network

conditions network hash rate block times

everything that the equilibrium is going

to pretty much render these all

unprofitable as of right now so the

potential prospect okay this is

definitely speculation and not financial

advice is that there could be potential

where some of those coins could go up in

price

right and carry the crypto mining

community i think a lot of those people

talk about ravencoin or talk about

ethereum classic or

hell it could have it could be a on it

could be conflux it could be swap you

know any of these coins could just go up

in price and appreciate and then it will

then be calculated on what to mine right

depending on the price of the coin and

the network hash rate of the coin could

then very well stay profitable for

miners but that's a really big if and

that's a really big risk if those coins

are going to appreciate in price right

that's a big if but i do want to touch

on the other side of it is you know

mining for long term as i've personally

been seeing mining throughout the bear

markets right if we have a crypto winner

in mining then that means there's going

to be a flood of gpus a flood of

graphics cards just piling on ebay

everything's going to be extremely cheap

i remember during the last bear market

we had that rx 580s were like sixty

dollars eighty dollars you know radeon

sevens were you know under 400 350

dollars 1080 ti's were 200 to 250

dollars during the bear market and so

there are times when hardware were

really cheap to buy

but that's not to say right that goes

along with is there going to be any

price appreciation on those other

proof-of-work coins that we have

out in the world right out right now

that you can mine on commodity hardware

like gpus and i didn't even touch on

asic mining which i do want to touch on

later on in this video right i want to

touch on that later on but with graphics

cards right graphics cards are commodity

hardware easily can mine a lot of

different coins out there

on the market right now it's just not

only ethereum but the question it begs

the question is if any of those other

proof-of-work coins are going to

appreciate and price and be able to

handle the network hash rate that is

going to be flooding onto all of these

other coins on the networks okay that is

the biggest question that is going to

come up and nobody knows okay nobody

knows what's going to happen

i don't have a crystal ball i'm just

giving the scenario i guess scenarios

that could happen uh once ethereum moves

to proof of stake right this is the

biggest milestone in proof-of-work

history in terms of gpu mining as we all

know ethereum has been carrying the gpu

mining community because again ethereum

has gone up so much in price

that it's been extremely profitable

versus what it was during the bear

market which we've touched on many times

before so anyways guys that is it that's

really the biggest question right is gpu

mining still worth it in 2022 but

ethereum moving to proof of stake is

going to be the biggest desiring factor

for a lot of people and so it kind of

ties into what i talked about earlier in

question number two is what is your

personal conviction

and also number one right what is your

electrical cost

that's all going to matter especially

because even during the bear market last

of 2018 to 2020 even if you had eight i

think even 10 cent kilowatt hour you

were still profitable you were still

profitable and i have videos back then

in 2018 2020 showing that you know even

at 10 cents kilowatt hour you were still

able to break even but again right once

the merge happens and if these those

other coins will able to be profitable

or not begs the question right that that

remains to be seen so we will see all

right next question is how expensive is

buying gpu mining hardware right now so

this is a question

potentially for new miners coming in may

be wondering and may not understand

how you know gpu pricing goes up when

it's profitable to mine and so that

really that's that's like the biggest

thing right so as the market has been

going up in terms of prices for all

these coins that mining profitability

relative to what the network hash rates

are hasn't gone up as high as what the

prices have been not a lot of the

hardware has come online enough to take

advantage of these prices that we are

seeing on like ethereum per se or any

other coin that you see out there but

again that question goes along with

number three once ethereum moves off to

proof of stake all that hash rate is

probably going to render those other

coins

unprofitable but again depends on if

those prices of those coins go up so

talking about hardware for gpus it's has

been coming down okay like for example

30 70 non-lhrs i remember these were

going on ebay at the peak i think of may

2021 when things were extremely

profitable

i think like one of these gpus was

making like 15 a day or something and

you can see that these 37 lhrs back then

i wish i had the example up but it was i

think on ebay at most like two thousand

dollars i think somebody bought recently

sold two thousand dollars for a 30 70

lhr and now they're about under a

thousand dollars if not twelve hundred

dollars here as of recording this video

so this is february 10th just to have a

date here as i'm recording this video of

these numbers that we're seeing of

people buying these non-lhr gpus on ebay

now let's say we go to

zotacstore.com and they always have gpus

in stock now like for example the 3070

ti's they have for 1100

which are these are really bad in terms

of thermals you definitely have to

change the thermal pads

check out gprises.com that little shell

here they have their new thermal pads

and gpu thermal pad chart i wish i had

it up here they sell thermal pads that

you can replace on the 370 ti if you

wanted and probably 30 90s 3080 tis as

well but you can see here generally the

prices of gpus have been coming down so

just to stress right just to stress that

since prices have been you know coming

down from the highs of when bitcoin was

60 000. ethereum was like 45 almost 5

000

that prices are coming down since then

so that's just something to be mindful

of and since you are going to be paying

a lot higher prices like this is not

msrp okay this is not msrp prices these

are definitely i would say on zotac

store.com scalped prices and you know

not only that i'm on aaawave.com they

also have gpus here gpus here for sale

but the prices are are still they're

they're not cheap like these are still

expensive prices

for these gpus like they should be a lot

lower than what they what they should be

like 30 60 gaming x trio for 749 like

that's that's still expensive and if we

go to on newegg for example newegg is

horrible newegg is actually the prices

i've been seeing here is even higher

so you're going to be paying a higher

premium for

for mining if especially if you want to

mine right now right because it's still

profitable even if you you know you go

to what to mine you know let's just do

130 70 ti for example hit calculate i

even forgot to touch on that you know

the lhr gpus or any gpu you can even do

dual mining now

so with the lhr gpus it renders them a

little bit more profitable because you

can dual mine ethereum and a lithium

with the new t-rex miner right as of

recording right now february 10th there

is potential to get more profitability

off your lhr cards which is great right

could be a lot higher than what we're

seeing right now on these numbers but

just just to mention that right to go

further on in the future there has been

updates on these mining softwares that

have opened the ability to mine other

coins especially with the lhr cards so

that that makes it a little bit more

profitable per se

and it gives you a little bit more more

incentive right but as you know mining

goes up in terms of profitability just

to touch on history here you know defy

you know since the d5 summer of 2020

which i mentioned back in i think june

or july is really when the transaction

fees for ethereum started ramping up for

mining right and so really this doesn't

matter anymore but i was just you know

going along with the fact that when the

prices of crypto started going up along

with d5 uh decentralized finance is that

that block rewards on ethereum were

really high and so miners were able to

pretty much get those rewards like

sometimes 8 10 15 30 ethereum per block

and those were amazing times right we

were so profitable back then and then

eip1559 came out and thus that means the

block rewards and we also get the minor

tip but the transactions are then burned

which a lot of the transaction fees are

now have a lot has been burned on the

ethereum network now so we've been

getting less and less ethereum per se

but the dollar value still generally is

high relative to what the

what the price of ethereum is and

network hash rate all that stuff so it's

still okay right profitable is still

okay up until uh the merge happens right

goes along with with question number

three when the merge happens we don't

know you know it like i said right it

could be then a lot of gpus a lot of

people will not be able to stay

profitable depending on their electrical

costs is when they will need to

liquidate their gpus now this kind of

ties into you know number question

number five let's go into this is gpu

mining hardware considered an asset and

i'm gonna say 100

yes because there have been many times

where gpu prices have been a lot more

right for example let's just let's just

do the legendary rx 580 for example rx

588 gigabyte card oops eight gigabyte

and these cards you know back in the

bear market of uh let's say 2018 2020

that these gpus used to cost like 60 80

right and so sure you may think of it

buying hardware during the low

profitability times is not a great time

to buy hardware because it's not

profitable but right come to think of it

when the prices of these coins go up and

when mining profitability also goes up

is when the prices also go up for the

hardware the hardware which you have

also appreciates and price as crypto

mining is profitable so that's just one

strategy to think about right and i've

personally seen my hardware and the

coins that you're mining that you're

huddling also appreciate together so

that's a strategy there right but that

is obviously a big risk to take on if

you are going to huddle and also buy

hardware for cheap right there's

potential that it may not go up in price

but right we've seen that the recent

run-up with ethereum it it's it's

definitely happened right we've seen

very high

prices of gpus i can't believe someone

bought an rx 588 gigabyte card for 420

like for me personally since i've seen

prices for x 580s be like sixty dollars

to a hundred dollars

i cannot stomach buying an rx 580 for

this price right now it just it just

doesn't make sense and honestly i would

probably buy uh gpus that are a bit more

efficient like you know maybe a2000s or

maybe uh 6600 xt's you know i forgot to

touch on that but like 6600 xts actually

i will touch on which gpus to be buying

in the future which what is the best gp

to buy that's question number 10. i will

get into that later anyways is gpu

mining hardware considered an asset and

i'm just going to say a straight yes

didn't even touch on with the pandemic

silicon shortage you know

this commodity hardware and especially

with scalpers it has just bolstered the

price of those of these hardware to

become a lot more of have a lot more

value so that's just one way to think

about it but anyways going along next

question is does the return on the

investment roi make sense for gpu mining

so this question it's it really

with number three actually this goes

along with number three because we

really don't know

for this year how the roi calculation or

analysis

can be made i mean we could make

educated guesses roughly right if we

know what we know now if the prices of

of the coins stay the same and then when

ethereum moves to proof of stake it will

render everything pretty much

unprofitable right at current prices i

do have a quick little roi analysis here

of a 6600 xt rig just you know six gpus

609 each so the total of the rig here

you can see here three thousand six

hundred fifty nine dollars and ninety

four cents daily profitability currently

on what to mine is eight dollars and

eighty five cents after ten cent

kilowatt hour so that's the monthly

profit that's the yearly profit but this

is all assuming the numbers of

everything has stayed the same right

prices of ethereum network hash rate

stays the same block times stay the same

block rewards stay the same and we all

know that profitability changes all the

time so this analysis here is honestly

it's probably it's gonna be way off for

sure i guess in about four months if it

does happen the merge happens it's it's

gonna drastically these numbers here are

gonna be rendered null basically so i

don't think we can really apply this roi

analysis because we are uncertain of

what is going to transpire in terms of

the prices of the coins in the next four

months from now who knows if bitcoin's

gonna go up to 100k bitcoin could go

down to 20k right nobody knows and so

when that happens right everything the

prices of the roi of your mining rig is

going to change

these you know calculations that we do

in excel it's normally for those that

want to see how long it'll take to pay

off a mining rig and you can see here if

ethereum if we could still mine ethereum

for the next year or two you can see

that the roi today's payoff currently

would be about 413 days with electric of

course which i added here okay about 475

dollars electric or a dollar 15 a day at

10 cents kilowatt hour

467 days to pay off now that is pretty

good still really good less than you

know two years than like an average

business i would say maybe three to five

years that would that would churn a

profit so mining we as we knew like last

year a lot of people were able to get

their money back or at least break even

on their rigs right and because mining

profitability was great for about a year

and a half since you know defy summer

which i've said before right now 2022

since we have a massive milestone i

guess the roi analysis for that is

it's it's really hard to it's really

hard to guesstimate it we can just do

educated guesses but assuming that the

prices of the other proof-of-work coins

that everyone's gonna move to

whether or not they're gonna appreciate

in price begs the question ultimately if

we have another like crypto winner a

long bear market then

huddling the crypto up until not

financial advice but if the next cycle

of bitcoin comes about in the next

couple years who knows right then price

appreciation of the coins that you've

been mining and huddling during the bear

market right during the crypto winner

and hopefully right hopefully that means

that other people will turn off their

mining rigs and the network hash rates

will start going down and everyone will

then be able to accumulate accumulating

the coins up until the next cycle right

but that's that's that's a big risk

right that goes back to the strategy of

if you can pay for your electrical bill

out of your pocket and huddle the crypto

up until the next cycle per se right of

bitcoin then the roi will then be

achieved

when that happens basically your your

break even of getting your money back

which ultimately which i have done

before which you mine you know in 2017

to 2020 you had all that ethereum we've

been mining all that extra ethereum

because the network hash rate for

ethereum during that time was really low

right versus what it is now everyone's

getting less and less of the pie so that

when you've huddled a lot more of that

crypto and you've seen the price

appreciation that we've had up until

recently right you guys have seen

they've gone up a lot and it's just yeah

your portfolio is just incredible

incredible okay next question can i mine

and live off crypto mining full time and

this is probably an easy one i mean if

you have

cheap expenses and not only cheap

electric but if you're most likely gonna

do this full-time and you're gonna rent

out a warehouse or you know purchase

land or purchase a warehouse you know

you're going to incur some other

expenses such as like insurance security

systems i don't know fire prevention

systems internet dual internet probably

you you name it right you're going to

spend money on a lot of stuff to upkeep

or maintain the warehouse for mining if

you're doing that and so in a like a

perspective of having you know let's

just say let's say you had a thousand 30

80 30 80 lhrs okay hit calculate and you

had four cents

per kilowatt hour right if you had cheap

electric or hopefully had access to

cheap electric which there are some

countries that i've seen that have you

know two cents per kilowatt hour there

are some places in canada that have less

than two cents per kilowatt hour and

that's in canadian right in usd that

would be like one cent or something but

anyways yeah there are countries around

the world that have cheap electric for

instance if you had a thousand thirty

eighties you would be generating about

thirty four hundred dollars a day your

electrical bill would be about 230 bucks

a day versus how much you're making this

is like this is life-changing right this

is life-changing as of the current

prices of crypto and profitability right

now right right now

as you can see with a thousand 30 80

lhrs you're spending 200 a day in

electric you're able to churn out an

extra like 3 200 bucks a day and then

maybe minus out all the other expenses

that you have daily or even monthly

you're still that this is life-changing

money if you're able to generate about a

hundred thousand dollars a month that's

incredible right that that is a

possibility for some people that have

the ability to be able to get you know

cheap electric price uh cheaper just

have cheaper expenses versus how much

you're mining you're mining just a lot

right so yes it is possible to live in

mine crypto mining full time honestly

that would be a dream that would be my

dream for sure

but it's the initial cost for sure to

get started because you know having a

thousand thirty eighty lhrs you need

like a lot of money

plus

i didn't even talk about the electrical

setup for something like a warehouse

could it could cost

over six digits maybe even seven

depending how much megawatts you're

going to install in your warehouse right

for mining so i know that another thing

to talk about like if you want to live

in mine off crypto mining full time

is not only do you need cheap electric

right and during those times right

during the bear market even if you had

cheap electric some guys were still able

to be profitable even above eight cents

per kilowatt hour i remember i had

profit videos during the bear market and

if you had eight cents or higher i

believe you were still good like you

were still generally profitable during

the last bear market that is upcoming of

course begs the question we have no idea

what's going to transpire after the

merge i mean we have an idea if it's

going to play out or not is we was what

we'll we'll see when that time comes

okay next question this video is

extremely long hopefully you guys are

still here uh let me know i think we're

like halfway there which is pretty funny

anyways next question should i get into

asic mining or gpu mining or something

else helium hard drive etc

all right so this is

a question i can't really answer

definitively as there is obviously i

can't predict what's going to be

profitable in the future again it goes

back to the whole like you know when

ethereum moves to proof of stake in

terms of asic mining that does pose an

interesting perspective i guess in terms

of how mining profitability for asic

miners it has been great for them as

well for the past

year and a half two years now since uh

bitcoin went up to 60k

ever since then right we can see we can

see here not only ethereum asics are

profitable but we got kadena right these

kd5s kd6s

ibling bmk1 for kadena mining so kadena

brings an interesting prospect there

assuming the price of kadena stays this

level or higher if the price of kadena

keeps going up assuming it can carry

everyone who's been mining cadena with

their asic miners litecoin mining again

very popular it's the script algo and

there's a lot of different litecoin

asics out there uh notably a lot of

those gold shell mini doges and stuff

but there's an l7 i believe that's out

now

and you know l3 plus and uh in a silicon

ltc master like those are still okay as

of right now right nine they're making

like ten dollars but relative to the

price of those coins and what the

network hash rate is right litecoin hash

rate has been constantly going up it's

still not as high as it was in 2019 when

i know a lot of those l3 pluses got

thrown into the garbage basic mining for

litecoin could be interesting in the

future but i'm not quite sure as i know

as bitcoin either goes up or goes down

in price usually everything follows it

right usually

so with bitcoin mining even i think

bitcoin mining is a great option

as well but the barrier to entry as to

buying one of these like you know

s19js or you know s19jpro

these things as of recording right now

they're still like 12 grand right and if

you go to asic minor value and you can

see s19jpro let's just say 104 terahash

it only generates about

13.69 a day right after your

your electrical cost which these things

these asic miners are not easy to run at

home right it's not easy mind you there

are ways to keep them you know quiet or

cool per se but you know these take a

lot of power for what you're generating

at this moment right if the price of

bitcoin doesn't go up and if it does

generally start going down then you know

the prospect of bitcoin mining at home

it becomes uh less and less but if you

do believe in the long-term goal right

but again it goes back to the personal

conviction of

why you're into crypto and especially if

you're going to be bitcoin mining or

asic mining then it doesn't matter right

it then doesn't matter right if you're

able to you know hopefully pay for your

electrical bill if you have cheap

electric but if you had like 35 cents

per kilowatt hour and you're gonna be s

19j pro bitcoin mining at home then

that's going to be pretty harsh not only

is there asic mining right of course

there is uh gp mining which we've talked

before talked about before i don't need

to mention that but what about like

helium mining or hard drive mining and

you know honestly i i am not really into

helium mining i do have a helium miner

but i haven't been actively keeping up

with it i'm not making much every day i

know that there's over half a million of

these hot spots on the network now and

so everyone is getting less and less of

the pie essentially now i've seen a lot

of people add their you know antennas

and external antennas and wires all that

stuff to achieve to have more rewards

more hnt and that's all great that's all

well and good right there's going to be

a time when i don't think hnt mining is

going to be very profitable

but i mean these things these little

routers basically only take like 10 to

13 watts so the power consumption is

really a drop in the bucket when you're

mining it's it takes really nothing at

all nothing at all so it obviously

doesn't hurt to have these on but the

used market for these hnt miners is yeah

there's people selling these for over a

thousand dollars and in my opinion i

yeah i wouldn't i wouldn't spend that

much there are people buying them for

like over a thousand still recently sold

on ebay so well to each of their own

right and then with chia mining for

example hard drive mining i

yeah i still have mine going i've been

wanting to make an update video about

this but i haven't had the the

motivation to do it because it's i

haven't generated a lot of chia i

haven't even i don't think i've even

made

one xch yet i haven't even generate

mined one with my hard drives i'll do

another video about that later with hnt

mining but i'm not too positive with

chia obviously but hey maybe there could

be some price appreciation down the road

who knows who knows anyways i didn't

touch on like cpu mining or you know

maybe mining with raspberry pi's

you know all those types of mining it

can be profitable if you stay up with it

for me personally i haven't kept up with

that type of mining at all i know

raptorium was big last year but it kind

of died off pretty quick as everyone

jumped onto it so to each his own

there's going to be a lot of different

types of mining out there i would just

be do your due diligence and i can't say

whether or not one is better than the

other but in my opinion and in my own

personal conviction is that gp mining

is the best i i love it because it's a

lot more versatile again you can use

your gpus to be mining a lot of

different coins and if things really

really go down you know ultimately you

can sell your gpus to a gamer or

something that the gpus the hardware

will still have value you can't really

say that with asics i mean you can to an

extent i mean as profitability goes down

asics are pretty much worth nothing but

then when profitability goes up then

asics are worth a lot and i don't know

the story with l3 pluses uh you guys

have seen l3 pluses you know in l7s they

cost an arm and a leg now right so

anyways all right so that's that

question guys let's go to the next one

uh number nine okay so number nine and

onward is just more

i guess once you get into it there are

some things to consider right it's not

just you know trying to buy gpus or

anything like that but number nine here

real quick once you start scaling your

mining farm heat and heat extraction

will be your number one concern which

is true 100 for me in my opinion when i

started ramping up and mining in my

basement or even in my garage for me

handling the heat was the hardest thing

to manage it's it's the heat if you

don't have a way to extract the heat out

of your garage or basement or wherever

you're mining the heat is just gonna sit

there and it's just gonna ambiently it's

just gonna be hot so there is a math

equation to it of you know calculate

calculating your square footage cfm all

that kind of stuff to see how much cfm

you need to basically recirculate the

air within a room or your garage

wherever right and so you need to have

it so that you have enough cfm like a

bunch of exhaust fans that you can

quickly replace the air in that area so

that your hardware will stay cool right

that's that's basically it and i mean to

this day i still have issues with trying

to cool down my basement or in my garage

it's nice that it's winter time but come

summertime summertime is going to be a

definitely

a bigger issue and i know a lot of you

guys in the summertime it gets pretty

hot as well so managing your rigs in

terms of the heat during the summer it's

it's gonna be it's gonna be rough to say

the least okay so yeah i skimmed through

that question really that's pretty

self-explanatory there are ways to do it

honestly everyone's situation is

different where they're mining so

whether or not you'll be able to you

know cut holes in your walls to the

outside put like massive 15 18 20 inch

exhaust fans in the ceiling that's what

you'll probably have to do if you are

gonna start scaling your mining farm all

right next question let's keep it going

here this is the longest video i've ever

made in my life i think what is the best

gpu to buy for mining right now

so this question is definitely gonna be

a big one as a lot of people like to

figure out you know what the most

efficient gpu for mining and normally

we've been doing that basing it on

ethereum hash rate and the efficiency

power consumption all that stuff for a

lot of the newer graphics cards that are

out in the market right now so just a

quick thing and i and we all know

ethereum is gonna move off to proof of

stake in about you know potential four

to eight months or something so

right now though

as of recording right it's about

february 10th and so

the 6600 xts and a2000s like these gpus

are awesome for ethereum extremely

extremely efficient you can see here

basing it on the hash per watt so

efficiency is definitely king here as in

my opinion if the bear market comes or

anything like that you want to make sure

that you are in efficient numbers and

also depending on your electrical costs

you know it it's going to matter a lot

it will matter a lot and so on ethereum

yes these two gpus are great but let's

take a look at another coin like

ravencoin for example and i just wanted

to clarify the relative percentage in

terms of the hash per watt amongst these

like all these like 30 series gpus even

the 6000 series gpus like 6700 xt or

6800

you can see here

that they're all pretty close in terms

of the efficiency percentage here

amongst except for the 6600 xt it looks

like that one is extremely good on

mining ravencoin like really really

efficient and actually i'm on the hash

per watt per

per the software now obviously at the

gpu it could take a little bit more

power consumption so we could also go by

hash per watt system here but the 6600

xt it looks like it still wins out

actually if i just do like this

and yeah 6600 xd is generally extremely

efficient along with mining ethereum of

course right it's up there so i want to

touch on like the best gpu for mining in

my opinion that is upcoming you know not

for ethereum is gonna be pretty much any

of the i would say 30 series cards like

even the lhr cards okay the lhr cards

are actually extremely efficient as well

okay so you're not going to go wrong in

terms of in terms of ravencoin mining

right if ravencoin decides to be the

next profitable coin then everyone's

gonna flock to that i wish i had the

numbers like the efficiency numbers for

like flux or ergo or any of those other

algorithms right as you know those other

coins could be very prominent as well by

the time the merge happens and everyone

is going to flock over to all of those

coins as you guys know i have hopefully

know that i have been creating videos

that have been enabling the dual mining

mode for you know on lo miner and t-rex

miner right these two mining software

can now dual mine

successfully using a hundred percent of

the lhr cards so it gives a lot of

incentive for those that have those lhr

cards 3070 lhrs 3060 ti

3080 ti 3070 ti's like all of these

cards are awesome like awesome for

mining ravencoin mining other coins out

there and especially

dual mining now that it is enabled okay

so i've made a lot of videos regarding

it t-rex miner um ethereum and the

lithium on the lhr gpus in tbx miner and

then for like non-lhr or just the rest

of the gpus lol miner also hasn't

enabled to mine ethereum and ton

okay so that makes it pretty good as

well i don't have the efficiency numbers

here but there is one caveat to ton

mining dual mining tan is that it takes

a lot more power i've noticed on the 30

series cards and then on the amd cards

like the 6000 series they don't change

at all in terms of the power consumption

you know in the future i think the 6800

i don't know 6700 xts are going to be

quite competitive

after the merge so we'll probably have

to test all of these gpus and see what

they do on other algorithms other coins

relative to what the 30 series cards can

do so i don't think anyone anyone that

has bought in any of the 6000 series

cards is not going to go wrong in terms

of mining of course the 6000 series gpus

are going to be great on the prague

variant coins like ravencoin or maybe

firo firo has moved over to the firo pal

with the which has the prague pal

variant and so it's great on amd cards

but nvidia cards are gonna be a lot

stronger for sure

on other coins like flux per se you know

a lot of the echo hash coins are going

to be a lot stronger and so who knows

right there there's there's a lot of

testing that needs to be done i will

eventually get to that when the time

comes when

a lot of hash rate is going to be moving

over because right everyone's going to

be figuring out okay what's the best gpu

for mining come the merge or after the

merge and honestly overall opinion right

now i'm gonna say that you're not gonna

go wrong with any of the 30 series cards

and you probably will not go wrong with

any of the 6000 series cards especially

the 6600 xts

as these are really really great for

mining ravencoin although the prague

variant coins extremely extremely

efficient but of course if density is a

factor then yeah you might as well just

get you know you're going to get the

bigger gpus uh you'll get more hash rate

per se but you may use

you may not get that efficiency number

but like i said raven coin efficiency

amongst all the gpus here it's really

it's really close it's really not that

big of a difference come the merge after

the merge we're not going to fight too

much regarding what the most efficient

gpu is for ravencoin most efficient gpu

for flux most efficient gpu for whatever

next coin that may be profitable come

after the merge okay so we've seen a lot

of new optimizations come out for

dual mining and even you know we tried

out triple mining ethereum silica and

elethium if you guys saw that video on

my lhr cards in t-rex miner it just

makes it even more profitable actually

maybe not because silica actually does

stop mining ethereum for a good

i think 16 times a day i've been wanting

to do a test on that but i will do that

in another video so to end off guys i

think there is no issue with buying any

of the lhr cards as the 100 unlock is

basically there now you're you're going

to be fine in that regard and so if

someone asks like red panda which gp

would you buy now then for mining i

honestly if you would find anything at

msrp of course do not pay scout prices

of course

honestly anything that you can get your

hands on like 30 70s 30 60 tis

lhr of course they're totally fine for

mining uh like i said 100 unlock for

dual mining and as well as 3080s those

are also really good if you can find

those and uh or maybe even if you want

to get into professional mining check

are going to go on a larger scale then

you know the cmp98 jacks is actually an

amazing card for mining it's really good

and you can put them in server cases and

they'll stay cool they have big thermal

pads on the back as well as the front so

you're not going to have any thermal

issues or anything okay going along

number 11 how do i power my mining rigs

this is definitely something where a lot

of miners new miners definitely will

have to know and understand because

a lot of people are going to be running

their mining rigs on regular i'd say 110

volts 120 volt

15 amp plugs circuits like this okay and

you know you'll have multiple of these

in one room but they're going to share

the same breaker so have you ever had

where you plugged in i don't know a

vacuum and an air conditioner and you

blow the breaker well same idea because

mining rigs will take a lot of power

right and so you're only going to be

going up to about uh you want to only

want to go up to about 1500 watts like

the 80 rule on a circuit like this so in

my opinion which i have a great video on

how i power my mining rigs not through

you know regular power outlets but on

240 volts 30 amp okay you need to have

that because you'll have a lot more

power capacity so you'll go to about

57 5800 watts uh at the 80 roll you can

have the capacity of about 7 200 watts

that's you know you do the math there 30

times 240 that will give you 7 200 watts

but of course you know depending on your

voltage that may not be 240 you can you

might go down to 230 or 220 and you'll

just have to do the math there right

times 0.8 to give you the 80 rule as you

can see there definitely go watch this

video how do i power my mining rigs just

just just put that in youtube and you

can see how i have my power distribution

unit plugged into my my power meter and

it goes into there and then the power

meter goes into the circuit panel

into the 30 amp 240 volt circuit breaker

and then to power the mining rigs into

the pdu you need a whole bunch of these

c13 to c14 cables which i bought a lot

of them from

infinitecables.com they have a lot of

the c13c14s

in stock i think now they still do and

infinitecables.com yeah and they have

the c13c14 you can see here 14 awg so

you want to make sure the gauge you want

to have that gauge because then you'll

be pretty much safe from having the

cable become hot and potentially burn so

i've seen power cables you know 18 gauge

20 gauge cables which you know can be

fine for smaller mining rigs but if you

have higher you know higher power draw

mining rigs like 3080s 3090s you

definitely want to invest in thicker

gauged power cables because these kinds

of cables will have the capacity and so

you don't have to worry about you know

burning your rigs burning your power

bars your your pdu your mining rigs

you'll all have enterprise grade you

know power cables which is which is

definitely a must when it comes to

mining so there you go that's just a

little quick little explanation about

how do i power my mining rigs definitely

go watch that video because that will be

definitely a pretty big consideration

depending on where you're mining

especially in a regular residential

house and of course make sure you hire

an electrician a certified electrician

to wire all of those types of things in

your house just just to be sure okay

next question open air mining frames or

server cases for mining this is

definitely a common question

when people are asking when they're

getting into gpu mining obviously the

easiest answer for this is for me is

going to be server cases but there is

definitely a time and a place for

open-air

mining frames and to be honest i've been

using open air mining frames for the

past pretty much

four three years now in mining and just

to give some just some clarification of

that you know i recently just stacked a

bunch of the 12 gpu mining frames

together you guys may have saw that

video just yesterday i released you can

see here i have these 12gp mining frames

now for pretty much a year now and i

love them they are great for mining

especially for open airframes i use them

as 6 gpu mining rigs not 12 because

depending where you live and how you

have your heat extraction in your

wherever you're mining is able to

extract the heat out fast enough i

unfortunately don't have that and

especially when summertime comes around

my basement does get very hot because i

have a lot of mining rigs in the

basement so for me personally for some

of you that don't know i have been

moving towards

octominer server cases you guys know and

i'm slowly moving towards them for most

of my rigs i did say in yesterday's

video that i am gonna keep this mining

frame uh this the stacking mining frames

here like this i actually really love it

like this but there is one caveat though

there is an issue i do have an issue

with one of the middle rigs the 30 70 ti

rig at the middle here uh right there

it's it's getting hot because it has

another rig on top of it so the hot air

is kind of just staying there uh in the

middle like right here

so there is some issue with airflow i

have put a another fan which is like

kind of behind me pointed at this rig

here so it is able to stay cool now but

i needed a separate you know little

one of those uh forgot what the fan name

is called but it's one of those like

tunnel fans and it's pushing a lot of

air towards this 30 70 ti rig in the

middle all right all my other rigs are

completely fine but again everyone's

situation is different depending on how

many mining rigs you have on your area

if you have just one or two you know

stocking them like this is totally fine

if you had six or eight or 20 of them in

one room you will then run into an issue

with heat right that's pretty much the

number one thing uh that was a question

i talked about earlier right so that's

definitely something to be mindful of

but in terms of either going with server

cases or open air rigs honestly it it

just depends what you want to achieve

for me myself i really loved the octa

miner cases just the way they looked and

also how they behaved and all the

features and you know i use hive os and

it's just so easy the integration with

the fans and all that stuff

in hive os is awesome i love it and so

yeah i really love these server cases

especially with the redundant like hot

swappable power supplies the thicker

gauge pcie cables and it just it's just

awesome i love it i love it it's not to

say i don't like 12 gpu mining frames i

think the 12 gpu mining frames or any

open air mining frame is completely fine

for mining if you have one or two or a

couple it's completely fine but once you

start scaling you then have to think

about the heat right and so that's why i

actually i moved over to

the

octa miner server cases right and

actually you can see in my basement here

i have about five of them in vertical

mode here which is awesome and so with

the server cases you are enclosing the

gpus in a tighter space and so the

airflow is being directed through the

gpus a lot more directed through the

gpus if that makes sense so smaller form

factor and more density inside the

server case with high powered you know

like delta fans and airflow going

through the gpus thus you will get

cooler temperatures throughout all the

gpus but when you are open frame mining

like i am over here and the issue i had

is that you know since they're all open

like this the hot air is just being

spread out throughout this whole general

area right so if i don't have any

airflow if i don't have my exhaust fan

open here the hot air is just gonna sit

here and the gpus ambiently will get

hotter and hotter especially my 30 70 ti

rigs at the bottom so just got to be

mindful of those types of things if

you're going to go with open air mining

frames or

server case

server cases for

gpu mining a lot of considerations but

ultimately totally up to you everyone's

wherever you're mining everyone has a

different room right depending on how

your power is your airflow if you have

any windows or you don't have any

windows right then you'll have to make

shifts i don't know cut out a wall or

something to put an exhaust fan in or

something like that everyone's situation

is different okay so next question guys

let's let's keep it going now crypto

mining is a journey especially as a

residential

miner so this is something i'm just

gonna run through some bullet points i

wrote down i'm sure i'm missing a lot

here but

i myself has been doing this whole

crypto mining youtube for a lot of i've

been doing it for the past three years

now and it's been so much fun i started

off doing it as a passion i love you

know computer parts and so getting into

crypto mining for me was just like a

win-win situation plus i loved creating

content and i i want to do something on

youtube and so here i am i've basically

been documenting my whole crypto mining

journey on youtube and i've been showing

you guys my vlogs and how to's and you

know i have a lot of how to build a lot

of mining rigs right how to build a

mining rig you know that type of thing

has definitely enabled a lot of people

to learn because i have like over half a

million if not a million views on those

videos and a lot of people commented

like they love those types of videos

because they can see in a pov style

manner how to build a mining rig and so

that's i really enjoy those types and

i've enjoyed that a lot of you have

enjoyed those videos as well so

especially as a residential miner there

is some things that you're gonna run

into so first thing first point you will

run into issues whether it's you know

your gpu doesn't turn on your mining rig

doesn't turn on after you built it or

just some type of issue and there's

gonna be a lot of troubleshooting that

you will have to do whether it's a

broken riser a cable is not plugged in

all the way a pcie cable not plugged in

all the way that's very common not very

not very many people triple check their

cables i highly recommend like triple

checking your cables because that that

also causes a lot of issues uh with your

mining rigs next point here you will

have a lot of sleepless nights and so if

you are into crypto mining a lot and

you're always tinkering or you know

you're always just worried about

something and you're always upgrading or

doing something with your rig this this

will happen right especially since you

know we are doing this for a financial

reason right a lot of people are in it

to make money right right let's not kid

ourselves you know crypto mining it

either can be a form of passive income

right if you're gonna sell every day

sell every month or another strategy is

huddling for the long term for the next

market cycles you know

when you see the price appreciation of

when you're huddling you know that type

of stuff that can also cause a lot of

stress as well right because you're

putting a lot more risk and you're just

probably thinking about it all the time

emotionally and it probably also affects

you physically in some way so a lot of

sleepless nights i've had that let me

know if any of you have had this issue

next one you will probably spend a lot

of money and i don't know for me yes

i've spent a lot of money on crypto

mining hardware graphics cards extra

parts all that stuff when you're gonna

get into crypto mining you probably will

as well because you're gonna get pretty

addicted to crypto mining and looking at

hardware prices and buying gpus and all

that stuff and to go along with that

you'll probably get your friends into

crypto mining that is definitely one

that i have seen personally myself as

well as other people out there you'll

probably get your family members into it

and everyone into it everyone's gonna

love it right because you're able to

generate money next one your wife

husband or kids will probably complain

about the noise or heat this

is

one that i've definitely gone through

myself and i know a lot of my existing

viewers have as well you'll probably

have an issue depending on where you're

mining in like a living room or maybe a

basement or you will have an issue of

noise and heat for sure the power supply

supplies you know like hp server psus

can be very loud right and if you go

with server cases for instance with

those high delta fans those are going to

be loud as well right and not to mention

the heat all right next one you will

have a lot of extra mining parts laying

around i mean yeah that's a given as uh

if you're gonna start scaling and

building a lot of stuff you'll probably

have a lot of extra risers as as do i uh

next one you will have a lot of late

nights troubleshooting or changing up

your mining configs and yeah i've

definitely gone through this myself as

you are going to probably you know maybe

you're going to look at the

profitability of a coin and you want to

mine i don't know another coin not just

ethereum and so you may just go ahead

and start changing stuff and all of a

sudden it's like oh oops i need to

change the overclocks as well and i need

to figure out the most efficient numbers

and i need to get the perfect overclock

number in and you know or maybe i'm

using more power and or the rig turned

off or you know

yeah this this this is going to happen a

lot if you get into crypto mining and

you have a lot of them all right next

one you will probably look at your hash

rates and rewards generated every day

and yes i do this myself you know just a

couple minutes just looking at every

single thing i go to my hive os look at

my account make sure all my rigs are up

and that's it that's it right it's it's

a given because this is something you've

you've pretty much poured your your

heart and soul and a lot of money into

and so you're definitely going to be

looking at this stuff all the time next

one you will always be learning and

keeping up to date with everything

within the crypto mining ecosystem and

yes i mean as you are getting into

mining you're probably going to be

interested in it a lot more and more and

so with that right comes with a lot of

learning and uh googling i don't know

watching my videos watching any other

youtube videos out there

it's a it's a thing for sure you will

always see a new update to a mining

software every week and yes so talking

about like lol minor t-rex minor

recently updating dual mining a lot of

those mining software will update with

some sort of optimization more so

especially the last the past year it's

been it's been a lot they've enabled you

know mining on lhr cards unlocking and

now dual mining on the lhr cards pretty

much unlocking it one hundred percent

and as well with lol miner dual mining

ethon you guys know the thing all right

next one is you will have new

optimization to your mining rig to

achieve potentially better hash rates

and efficiency uh so this probably goes

along with the last one here as there is

going to be new updates right and maybe

uh you there's a new overclock setting

or something and a great one is going to

be with you know the absolute core clock

that haveos enabled i think last year

that was a great one because a lot of

people were able to get a lot more

efficiency

in their gpu mining rigs and save a lot

more power so you know things like that

you know may come out a lot more more

prevalent in the future who knows next

one you will always try to find the best

deal on all crypto mining parts and i

mean i think we're always trying to find

deals on gpus and whatnot but it's

obviously as a recording it's it's still

up there in terms of prices next one you

will always have to watch crypto mining

youtube videos and if you're watching

this video you're probably going to

watch a lot of youtube videos especially

within mining and there's going to be a

lot of different opinions a lot of

different just perspectives especially

with me

i always give you know my perspective in

mining as i a little i have a little a

bit of experience for the past couple

years i'm not an og by any means okay

i'm not an og there are other youtube

channels out there that are a lot more

og than i am and i i just like to like i

said i like to document my journey and

just tell you guys my experience and my

perspective of how i see things recently

okay and the last part here you will

if you are getting into crypto mining i

mean as a residential miner you're gonna

have a lot of fun building the rig

keeping up to date mining seeing those

rewards going into your mining rig

looking at your beautiful beautiful

mining rig that you built with your

hands and yeah it's

i can go on and on about that i i truly

truly love crypto mining and what goes

around with the ecosystem as well with

the community as you all know i have

been making videos every single day on

my youtube channel you know come hell or

high water i i make videos every day i'm

like kind of sick right now as of

recording but you know overall this has

been a lot of fun and passion for me

mining has given me a new i guess

outlook in terms of wealth generation

you know as i want to create that

generational wealth uh for the future

right this kind of goes along with my

personal conviction uh with

cryptocurrency and how it pertains to my

goals uh in the future and probably for

a lot of you as well all right now let's

end off with the last question here do i

believe crypto mining is worth it in

2022. just in the back of my head okay

what is the issue with that is gpu

mining still worth it in 2022 is

question number three

okay this this one for me is definitely

a big i guess hurdle when it comes to

the whole crypto mining community as a

whole and i don't think i need to go

into it in depth just talking about why

i already talked about number three a

question earlier in this video this

video is extremely long i can't believe

i recorded this long but with that do i

believe crypto mining is still worth it

in 2022 and yes because my conviction

and and belief just in crypto mining in

the future as i'm always going to keep

mining i am always going to pay for my

electrical bill out of my pocket i'm

always going to keep on accumulating

because i believe that you know in the

future especially with cryptocurrency is

just honestly it's still getting started

there's going to be a lot more

investment in it and that's what i

personally believe and so i think i will

create a lot of wealth that way just by

you know huddling it it's maybe kind of

similar to buying real estate or

something like that and you know real

estate has definitely gone up in the

past couple years as depending on where

you live uh it's it's been pretty it's

been pretty intense right but along with

crypto that cryptocurrency or bitcoin in

general is gonna be a new financial

paradigm in the world in the next five

ten twenty years in my opinion so i

believe it's gonna be worth it in the

long run as long as you don't think of

crypto mining as a get rich quick scheme

okay if you are getting into crypto

mining and you are hoping to make

millions of dollars in like in one year

that's not gonna happen okay as

residential miners we are doing this as

a long-term play it's definitely lower

risk to get into crypto mining than

rather than buying crypto because you

have value in the hardware that you have

purchased for mining plus you know as

you're mining you're gaining the rewards

and so if you're huddling that crypto

plus also huddling your hardware

up until you know maybe the next bull

run or something and then when crypto

mining comes back into profitability

then things become even better for you

as you've huddled your hardware and your

crypto and you're just laughing because

your portfolio has gone up so much and

maybe your rtx 3070 is worth two

thousand dollars again i'm not saying

that's going to happen again we don't

know but we've seen that happen now the

past two bull runs in 2017 uh 2018 and

then in the recent ballroom we had in

2021 and i'm that's not to say i don't

know if we're still in a bull run right

now i'm not quite sure but things are

still generally profitable

for mining as of recording february 10th

okay so anyways guys with all of that

think getting into crypto mining will be

worth it i wholeheartedly believe crypto

mining isn't going anywhere there's

probably going to be a lot of new

projects coming out with proof of work

and hopefully you know take over what

ethereum is moving away from all right

so that that would be an interesting

that would be an interesting prospect
