was told she'd checked out.

ED: Even after you
heard she was dead?

I didn't know she
got killed that night.

Well, how do you know

that could chill the
demons in her head.

(CHUCKLING) Are you kidding?

There is no chance

said that Shane Mallory's
death was a do-it-yourselfer.

a civilian I couldn't have as a cop.

Now, maybe he was depressed,
maybe he was a psycho, whatever.

Travis is a major
league doper now,

old diary of Patty's

that indicates she
really never loved Shane.

That she only used him
to further her own career.

Because without a

people in Washington
wouldn't get elected.

and thereby lead to a trial

slander my client's good name.

He's a drug addict
and a murderer.

The fact is, the murder weapon had
trace evidence of the victim's blood.

It was found in your

By a man whose procedure
was, shall I say, questionable?

Mr. Foster's status as criminal
suspect, indicted or otherwise,

eliminates any possibility
of full and fair testimony.
