All language subtitles for 6. Modules Exercise

In the last video we saw how we can generate a component inside of a module.

Export it and then import that component into another module.

Now in this video we're going to go through a quick little exercise just to repeat that process.

This entire idea of cranium component explaining it and then importing it is something you're going

to do all the time.

It makes a lot of sense to get a little bit of practice right away to understand how it works behind

the scenes though in this video are really right after this video.

I'd like you to try to go through a quick little exercise but here's the steps that you're going to

go through as usual this exercise is 100 percent optional.

If you don't want to do the exercise no problem.

We're going to go over Solution 2 together in the next video.

Here's what you're going to do.

You're going to create a new collections home component inside of the collections module.

You're going to create that component using the angular CLIA.

After you create that component you're then going to make sure that you export the collections home

component from the collections module.

That's going to use the same exact step that we just went through in the last video after that.

You're going to import the collections module into the app module and then finally try to show the collections

home component on the screen I rendering it or showing it inside of the app component.

This is four steps in total.

Now if you get stuck anywhere or if you are unsure about how to do this no problem just hop over to

the next video.

I want you to know not to put any pressure on you but if you start to make a mistake in generating files

and whatnot it starts to get a little bit confusing about how to really fix things.

If you get stuck at any point time or if you run the incorrect command remember you can always download

all the source code or all the code that I'm writing is attached to a zip file to every single video.

If you run some command and you say oh no I did not mean to run that and you accidentally mess up your

entire project.

Well you have to do is go and download the zip file attached to this video or the next one and you're

going to get all of the completed code at.
