All language subtitles for 2. Routing Exercise

The last video we saw how we could show a component when a user is at a very specific route.

Now what we just did is going to be a very frequent thing that you're going to repeat over and over

and over again in your own applications.

Though as you could probably guess we're going to go through a quick little exercise here.

You're going to repeat exactly what we just did inside of that views module on the collections module.

You're going to go through three different steps.

First off you're going to find the collections module you're going to find the export statement where

the collections home components and you're going to remove it.

The reason for this is that we are not creating a domain module.

We do not want to export that component though it can be displayed anywhere else.

Instead we want to only show that component whenever a user navigates to a very specific route.

In our case the root of slash collections to make sure that occurs we're going to open up the collections

routing module inside there you're going to import the collections home component and then finally also

inside the collections routing module you'll add in a routing rule to show that collection some components

whenever a user is at the path collections.

Again this is a quick little exercise you're going to essentially write out the exact same code that

we just wrote inside the last video.

The only difference is it's all going to be done inside of the collections module stuff right here as

usual if you don't want to go through this exercise.
