In this video we're gonna start working on our next big application.
Well I say next big application but to be honest this one's going to actually be a rather small little
application we're going to put together.
Let me tell you what the game plan is to help you understand why we're building this project.
OK here's the goal.
We're going to try to build a very small application in the next couple of videos.
And in this application we're going to really focus on two additional really big features inside of
angular that you're going to use on just about every project you work on.
The goal of this application besides getting some more information about those two additional features
is to really lead up to a deep dive.
We're going to do in two TypeScript and some internals of angular.
That's the goal of this next application.
We're going to focus on two features and lead up to a deep dive on typescript.
Let me show you a mockup of the application we're going to be building.
All right.
Here it is right here.
This is an application where we're going to display a series of kind of card looking things or essentially
posts so to speak to a user.
We're going to show three little cards overall.
Each one is gonna have a custom image some title a user name of whoever posted this thing and then some
content down here at the bottom as well.
So very simple application.
Let's flip over to our terminal.
We're gonna generate a brand new angular application.
We'll let that thing get generated and then we'll come back the next video and start putting this thing
together to get started.
I'll go back over to my terminal.
I still have my development server from our previous project running.
I'm going to stop that thing by pressing control C and then going to go up one directory back into my
workspace folder of sorts and then inside of here we'll generate a new project once again using the
angular CLIA remember to generate a new project.
We run energy new and in the name of our project I'm going to call this project hearts because we're
trying to show a series of cards to the user OK so that's going to ask us two very quick questions here.
Once again we're gonna hit enter and enter that's gonna then start generating our project I'm going
to let this thing run we'll come back the next video and start adding in some code to implement this
little app.
