All language subtitles for 4. Inmate locator

I'll be taking a look at a prisoner or inmate locators now, the one we're using here is the Federal

Bureau of Prisons.

And this is a government side you can tell by the chief of the domain here, and you could find it below

Now the way this works is it contains a database of various inmates for the United States.

And as you can see here, it's dates back to 1982 to present, so it goes back fairly a fair length

of time.

Now, if you're looking for someone that potentially had a record prior to this, that's going to be

a problem.

But for the most part, if you don't know sophistication, you need to find out or want to find out

if a person had a criminal record if they ever were incarcerated in a prison.

This is a really good resource to use.

Now you could find them by.

No.

And chances are, if you already have the the boppy registered number, the inmate number, you know,

you're already going to know that, well, they did time.

You might not have the risk information like where they served, but you would.

You generally probably wouldn't need the service.

But we're going to do this by fine by name.

So if we're doing this investigation, we want to know if a person's criminal record, whether they're

currently incarcerated or if they were released.

This is a great resource.

So you could simply type in a first name, middle name, last name or any combination of that the race,

age and sex.

And it's always some more information, the better to help isolate things down.

So I'm going, I'm going to put down John.

Oops!

Let me go back there, and Lee are Mr. Smith, when typing something completely generic, I'm going

to leave by these fields open just so we can kind of get an idea of how this is going to work.

Once you punch in whatever information have on your target, simply click click the search button here.

OK, give them a moment to run through.

And as we see here, there are a number of John Smiths, and he gives us John Smith, John Lee Smith,

John Wesley Smith, so all the combinations of Smith and the search results are going to be limited

to 100 results.

So I've reached that limit already.

So chances are there's going to be a lot more than this.

So that's that's generally why you wouldn't Typekit a middle name, race, age or sex again.

The more information, the better when it comes to searching.

Now, let's take a look at what we do have.

So we have a name here.

We have the registry number.

So their prisoner number, their age, their race, the sex, the release date, if they were released

from prison and the location if if the release or just put in released and in here we see other things

like not a BRP custody release date.

Unknown.

So again, this could come in pretty handy, and it looks like this one here is still or has the location

listed here.

So this is a pretty cool resource to use for if you're looking for things like if a person was, it

was a inmate at one point and we click on here, you can kind of see, you know, basically the same

information the registered no age sex race location located at the release date.

And in here, there's a little bit more information here faculty information, call, email, mail or

send package so you can potentially if the person was released, you're trying to give him more more

information.

You could potentially call or email by clicking that link and then giving the registered number in the

name of the prisoner.

And depending on what information looking for, they may or may not release any information to you.

And if we click on, there is going to take us to wherever they were incarcerated.

So again, it's a really handy cool tool.
