VIDEO We're taking a look at crime reports.

Crime reports can be found at crime reports dot com.

Now the way this works is its well, it searches for crime.

It searches over a thousand apartments by name, region and zip code to find what war crimes were reported

in a certain area.

Now this can be handy if you're doing the arson investigation.

So different scenarios might be if your client wants to do kind of an ocean investigation to find out

is his neighborhood safe?

This person was in this location on this time and day moved in.

Did something happen?

What's going on in there?

How safe is this area would give me more information about where it is, where my target potentially

might be or has been.

Or again, is this neighborhood safe?

What's the history like around this area?

Crime reports can come in real handy for it.

So the way to use it is either you can explore the map or you can type in a location so and type in

Oakland, California, and I'm just going to hit the energy and it should pull up all the crime, some

within that area.

So let me click that, OK?

OK, so I'm not going to do them with type in Oakland, California here.

And I'm going to click the search, sure, or choose that one here.

And this is probably going to blow up my computer because Oakland generally has a lot of crime.

So there are 129 incidents incidents in this area.

So yeah, a lot of crime.

And if we kind of scroll through in here, if we had the exact address, we could type of the exact

address.

We have a town or a street you could type in town or street.

I just want to kind of show you a general overview of what this looks like.

So if I scroll over here, I can start seeing different crimes in the area.

And if you want to see more, you can click on the little icon, I'll tell you.

So on April 11, 2019, around six p.m., there was a grand theft or grand petty theft, petty theft,

anonymous tip.

There's a case number and there's a police agency in here.

We have a vehicle theft location, time, date, description, case number, the agency for the police

department.

So if you're doing ocean investigation and.

You're investigating a crime, maybe it, and have the case number that they can get you the case number

for.

What other crimes were in the area?

Maybe the a different crime relates to the one that you're investigating.

Maybe some of this will somehow tie to whoever you're doing a U.S. investigation on.

And again, if you're using this to kind of find out wooded areas like maybe your clients moving to

a to a home within a certain area, you could pull up crime reports, find out what that what that area

is like.

Once that city like, what's the neighborhood like?

Is there a lot of crime?

What type of crimes were occurring or things like that?

So again, this comes in really handy for that kind of thing.
