In this video, we're taking a look at the program, my sudo.

And you can find sudo over at the App Store, Google Play Store or if you browse on the web, go to

Now, sudo is one of the programs that are used quite a bit in.

Essentially, what it does is it creates a burner number for you and does a whole lot more.

Now, I also use this in conjunction with other programs, sometimes I'll use things like burner to

create a burner phone number.

It's a lot more convenient than, say, running out and buying a SIM card, activating it and using

a phone number for a while.

So if you need to use a phone, either call, receive calls, text messages, whatnot during your visitation,

something like my pseudo comes in really handy.

And essentially what you do is you download the app and let's take a look at the plans here real quick.

There's various plans is for the United States and Canada.

There's free sort of girls, you know, pro pseudo Macs, so depending on which one you do, will depend

on what kind of features you have.

So you can set up a free pseudo account, three different accounts, which means you can set up three

different profiles for it.

You don't get any phone numbers, so you can do text messages.

You can't call non pseudo numbers.

You do get three handles, so you'll get unlimited messages.

If you text back and forth to other pseudo users and you get three email addresses, which is pretty

cool because you you could have email address that you can burn recreate pretty easy.

You get a gig of storage.

Three private rounds or zero virtual cards.

No, that's probably not going to work for most people because if you're using a program like pseudo,

you're probably going to want a phone numbers.

People make calls and get text messages.

So for that, you're going to have to bump up to or go or or more, depending on what you need as we

see and sort of go with you, have you going to least one phone number here?

You get a 100 text messages to non-scheduled users, 30 minutes of phone calls, three handles you can

send three virtual cards and whatnot.

And that's a dollar a month.

So not very much money and it kind of gets you going.

Now, one thing to keep in mind, though, when you set up a sock puppet account or use a burner number

like pseudo or Vernor, if you're setting up to set up, say, a Facebook account that requires a phone

number, it's probably not going to work.

There's different ways that authorization is works for different services like, say, Twitter or Facebook,

and pseudo unfortunately does not use their particular one.

So if you put a pseudo number in and you set up a Facebook account, it will try to send that text message

for verification for a phone number.

You're not going to get it.

So do keep that in mind.

But if you call a phone number or you set up this number and has someone call you, you will get a phone

number, you phone call, you will get a text, you can talk to people in.

The nice thing is, when you're done with it, you can just burn that phone number with it.

You can burn the phone number and recreate a new phone number and account, and you get to pick what

your location is, what your phone number is, etc. So if I'm doing a ohlsson investigation for, say,

someone in Kentucky or any to make myself look like I'm coming from Kentucky, I can go through and

say, Well, let me look for a Kentucky phone number that would go, I'm going to grab this one that

way.

Since I'm living in California, I don't want, say, a nine to five area code showing up for Kentucky

because that is going to look suspicious.

So that's where some like sudo or burner comes in handy.

So let's take a look at the futures.

So you see these old cards here, and these are the things that you set up in when you create your card,

you could put what the what, what the phone number is for.

So in these examples, they have social browsing, shopping you, you put down a name.

So if I'm making a sock puppet account, I always put the various sock puppet names in there.

I'm using that way I can associate, Okay, okay, well, this one is John, this one's Mike or whatnot.

Here's the phone number.

Here's the email address associated with that account.

And as you see, we we have text messages.

You can set expiration on them and delete messages.

Group messaging.

It's India encrypted if you're texting other pseudo users.

And in here we could see the customized coin, you pick what location and then use or you can pick your

area code and whatnot.

It has a nice email system built into it, too.

And again, you can burn either of those private browsing features and this is pretty cool too.

I haven't personally use this, but you can create virtual cards, meaning you can create a virtual

credit card and you accept your payment method and then you can burn it later if you want to.

So pretty handy if you need something a little bit more secure when you're making purchases.

So overall, it's a pretty cool program.

I've been using it for over a year now.

I like it a lot.

And before this was a iOS only application, but as we see, it's also on the Google Play Store, so

you could definitely check it out.

You could check out the free version and see how that's going to work for you.

You won't get a phone number, but at least you can kind of play around with with the system itself.
