Well, the changes have been extraordinary.

I mean,

earlier when we first met, you know,
I encourage her to pray,

which she had no idea
of what that entailed.

And I just simply told that
just talk to God.

And so it started out when we would

have, you know, Grace before we ate,

which was the first time
she ever did that.

She didn't realize you could pray
and ask God

blessing for the meal
that he's already given you.

But just to thank him
and so from that, she started praying

every time, you know, we would have meals.

And then I encouraged her

to start reading the Bible.

And there was a period of time
that we were kind of going through

some things, whether it was just

how to communicate with each other or

things of that nature.

And so when she started reading the Bible,
she felt like God

kind of gave her more of an understanding
of how to approach

you know, dealing with your husband
or your spouse.

And so

things started getting better.

That's when I started noticing changes.

I think once COVID hit

and everyone went to Zoom,

you know,
it just became comfortable with the just

go to church online.

And so when churches started reopening,
I was fine,

continuing to go online.

But she really just wanted to get out
and wanted to find a church family

and just be with people.

And so she kept asking
and I kept put in off.

And then one day she just took the car
and one Sabbath

she took the car and she showed up here
at Ellicott City Church. And

the following week I came with her

and then we just started coming

I did not think that this was a step

that I wanted to make until

we sat in the pastor's office.

And I
it just was going through my mind that

I've been baptized in the past.

But I was young.

I've gone through some things.

I've gone through some changes.

I've grown maybe this would be

a nice thing to do just to get baptized,

get read, baptized alongside
my wife, get in baptized

for the first time,

you know, I've become more conscious of

what is is

my role is on this planet,
which is to help spread

the gospel of Jesus is soon coming.

And I don't

think I realized that

I felt so deeply about certain things
until after my mother passed.

My mother passed in early 2090

and though I'd

been going to church with her and

things of that nature, I didn't fully

or wasn't fully involved.

I didn't fully follow
everything that I should.

I feel like when you lose
someone close to you,

you start to put life in perspective

and you start thinking about things
differently.

You know, you never know
when your time is going to come. So

that's when I started thinking of

just how can I better live my life?

That would, you know,

be in line with what God would want
