All language subtitles for 04-DESIGN-STYLES-Best-Selling-Styles

Pay attention in this lecture because I'm going to be

sharing with u16 of the top-selling,

print-on-demand design Styles.

Now,

that doesn't mean that these styles are all optimized for

every print-on-demand product primarily.

They're probably going to look best on t-shirts.

But some of them will also translate well into products

like stickers or coffee mugs,

or maybe not hats.

I mean,

embroidered hats tend to have to be a simplistic in

nature.

So depending on what primary product it is that you

sell,

you may want to hone in on specific design Styles,

but what I'm going to share with you in this

lecture are really just focused on my evaluation of the

best selling designs on Amazon and on Redbubble and

on Etsy,

as far as print-on-demand,

so to start the Vintage Sunset designs,

sell extremely.

Well,

I'm sure you guys have seen a lot of these

in your Niche research and you know one take on

these as you can see on the left side there.

It's like a Standard.

Mm.

Non-distressed designs on the right side.

They went ahead and distressed the design.

So sometimes you can get to 41 by distressing your

Baseline design and life.

Cupboard how to distress designs.

In this course.

Design,

number 2 graphics,

plus text.

Now.

This is a basic basic approach and just a general

approach to design where you can go ahead and grab

a graphic whether you make it or whether it's pre-made.

Then you add text for instance.

You can have curved text above.

If you have a curved design and flat texter,

you don't worries on the text beneath depending on what

your images are,

depending on,

what you see best or you can do like what

you see on the right hand side there and you

can have just a horizontal text with the graphics horizontal

in its really completely up to you just you know,

stick to the fundamentals that we talked it out,

where the bigger,

the design,

the better,

you know,

you want to pop.

Remember you're competing with a lot of different people and

a lot of different designs.

So you want yours to feel like it's special.

Retro color schemes,

so it's not uncommon to see basic text designs with

a alternating vintage color scheme.

And by the way,

you can just,

you know,

screenshot this and put it into Photoshop and use the

eye drops tool and grab those hex color codes.

Also put a couple hexadecimal color codes beneath

this video that you can use if you want to

just have some retro color theme,

text design similar to this one.

Rainbow Pride,

rainbow / Pride.

So these also sell really well.

Again,

a lot of it is just simple text designs,

but then they color the text in a specific pattern

in a specific way that mimics a rainbow.

Vintage font.

So as you can see in the design here,

they also mixed it with the Retro text but didn't

have to you know,

they could have just done white text on on a

colored t-shirt and had that sort of vintage fonts

with the the lines.

You know,

I'm not really sure how to describe it honestly,

but one font family that is very similar to this

designs called Summer of 76.

Another approach to a vintage font is you

can use a similar similar to what we just saw

here.

I'll bet you can also find different font families.

That may have more lines.

You can Again,

mix it with a vintage color scheme.

You can see the design on the right there,

where they take a word and they do,

you know,

it has six letters.

They do three rows of two letters for column.

So there's a lot of ways to work this.

But it's very popular design Style.

Circle plus text designs that is often is done with

politics,

but I've actually sold a bunch of shirts where I

just took this sort of approach and it doesn't have

to be red,

white and blue.

But again,

I mean,

I've seen a lot of politics,

but when I was first in Amazon,

merch one of my most successful shirts,

initially that was Evergreen had this design style and it

just had words in the middle and I realized I

got people like this design style.

So then I kept telling them that I would swap

the words out and yell,

you should try that.

If you run out of ideas.

Parental advisory as a design Style.

So we've seen this with very various things.

I don't know what the original one actually says premises

principal advisory.

I think our parental advisory recommended but

this one this design style where it's like a a

box and you have three rows where you can add

Words tends to sell really well cuz it's just recognizable

to people even though no one buys CDs anymore.

So,

I don't know if people ever actually see see that

anymore and they don't know why they probably like me,

you have to remember why they white looks like they

recognize it.

I just retro tapedesign has been selling really well lately,

and you can again just swapping the text,

you know,

on this one.

It says best of 1970,

but you can put whatever you want.

There doesn't have to be associated with anything old and

don't have to be associated with years or music.

Can you put whatever you want there,

and they sell really well,

so he's all day.

David,

Donald Trump and Megan make America great again,

this approach of design Style.

While it has been done a million times,

you can get creative with the wording and oftentimes make

quite a few sales.

So this is just,

you know,

you don't want to rip off his design.

Exactly.

But you can get creative there and you know,

it's you see a lot of them with the Stars

in the lines above and below and then some Play

on Play On Mega something similar.

Political style.

Now I'm not.

This is outside of my ability to do as a

graphic designer,

even though I'm sure there's probably tutorial on YouTube to

take an image and then convert it into this political

Colour scheme and you know,

where they change the shadows in the image to a

certain pallet of colors that are red white and blue,

at least sell extremely well.

Text repetition.

This one is extremely easy.

Very accessible.

Nothing crazy going on here.

You just take a phrase of words and you repeat

it and you can repeat as many times as you

see fit.

I'm looks like they repeated this one,

maybe 15 times or so something like that.

Heartbeat design.

So if you have a baseline graphic for a heartbeat,

which by the way,

you can design yourself in any app pretty easily.

You can just save the Baseline heartbeat and then add

graphics in as you go.

So,

adding controller and then,

boom.

That's your game shirt.

Add a basketball.

That's your basketball shirt at a soccer ball.

You don't say a thing.

Like,

this is actually,

I really suggest that you create this in a template

away,

that can be templated.

That way,

you can use it for a bunch of different niches.

Also Mom,

just here.

I mean you could probably add words to this to

and create two designs,

three designs out of one graphic.

I Run DMC,

style,

designs.

Now,

Run DMC is a rap group.

You don't want to infringe on them.

But you do see a lot of shirts selling with

this design style where it's like,

three letters,

three letters and me might be one row of words,

two rows of words.

I don't think I've ever seen one with three rows

of words,

but then the,

the Red Bar Above and Below on this is a

popular design style as well.

And you have the silhouette.

This one is easy to execute because you could pretty

much is going to photoshop and add a color overlay

to a graphic and have this silhouette approach.

So if you have a really nice graphic that you

like that selling,

maybe you bring it back into Photoshop and literally just

do a color overlay and sell this minimalist,

take on whatever the design is as long as you

can,

still figure out what it is from the silhouette no

harm done in not selling that.

And a tried-and-true design approach is just take text.

You know,

it doesn't matter if it's colored not colored or not

and distress it and I've got a tutorial on how

to distress text in the course.

And this one is,

I mean,

it works all day.

You can do it on just texting signs and you

do it on text with graphic designs.

Do you do on Graphics as well?

So distressing is one of those things that just always

work since another great way.

If you have a non-distressed version and a distressed version,

you can double down on a design.

With those are the 16 design styles that I wanted

to recommend to you,

in this lecture.

Figure out what's working for you.

I do recommend also creating multiple designs from any

style that you choose.

By the way.

You don't have to restrict yourself to any one style.

But,

you know,

anytime you pick up style,

if you can figure out a way of making two

versions of it,

whether it's having a white text version and then a

colored text version,

distressed version.

I'll always be thinking of ways to create multiple.

Signs that way you can create multiple products and occupy

more online,

real estate,

but you know,

it's going to make you more money.
