So I like to practice in 15 minute blocks of time.

I keep a little timer on my desk and I also keep a practice journal.

And for example, if I have two hours to practice, I'll put in eight, 15 minute blocks and I might

warm up and stretch for 15 minutes, which it's very important to to, you know, do a quick little

set of stretches before you play, I believe.

And then I might work on a particular song that is challenging to me at the time.

Then I might work on another song.

I might then work on some scales or some more theoretical type exercises and I'll keep going.

And by two hours, I've covered so much ground because these 15 minute blocks force you to focus and

find a way to effectively practice a particular topic, you know, within that short amount of time.

So if you have 30 minutes per day, like I said in the in session, one with the practicing tips.

So taking 15 minutes to work through this course material is is a great way to start and then maybe

take the second fifteen minutes of a 30 minute block to work on the particular exercises that, you

know, you're concentrating on at the moment.

So I think that that's a really good way to approach it.

And certainly, you know, you can try ten minute blocks if you want.

You can try 20 minute blocks.

But 15 minutes seems to be a nice and nice amount of time for me.

So in Section three, we're going to talk about open chords.
