The long term effects

gave the best years

of their lives to make the

They used to get thrown
from a bronc or a bull

there was a pickup man to

they've earned the

These are some of the greatest
rodeo legends of all time

right here right in front of us.

these people here

are bonafide rodeo legends.

They're some of the
most fierce competitors

that have ever
graced these grounds.

But it's a tough sport
and years of throwing

their heart and
soul into the rodeo,

well, it's taken its toll.

And we feel, as a community,
that we should do something

to help these people
ease their burden.

It's a bit hypocritical
to be celebrating

our heritage when
we haven't been able

to take care of the people who
are most responsible for it.

So, tell me, what are
we gonna do about it?

So, here's what I'm proposing.

I'm going to donate all of
the profits from today's rodeo

toward a fund for
retired rodeo competitors

long after they've hung
up their hats and spurs.
