In this lesson, I'll show you how you can check your listing for copyright and trademarks and how to

publish your designs.

So it's a check for trademarks in the US.

By far, the easiest way is with matching former trademark check.

I've got the extension installed already, and if you have a matching form, a subscription is free

of charge.

So this matching form, a trademark check here on the left is for apparel products for class 025.

And this one right here is for popsicles and foam cases for glass 009.

So we'll start by Claus 025 as you click on it highlights anything that it thinks is trademarked.

So the first thing we're going to check is golden retriever.

So we click on it and it shows typeset.

So we're not concerned about typeset, we're only concerned about texts.

Stop cannot be trademarked.

One word trademarks are in the dictionary.

I wouldn't even bother checking.

They are not going to be enforceable.

No issues here.

So this is all fine.

And I've explained all of this in my trademark and copyright tutorials, so make sure you go back to

them.

What else is the ad?

If you know issues right here, the only words that we should be concerned about are words that are

not conventional, that are not in the dictionary that we use every single day, and especially along

phrases that are three or four words.

If those words get highlighted, we should definitely check for those.

Now we check for pop sockets.

In some cases we click on here.

Let's click on golden retriever.

It says text, let's click on it.

Right.

It's registered.

But what for?

Let's check the goods and services, computer application software.

It's not going to be for phone cases or pop sockets.

I've checked and it doesn't affect us.

Providing a website featuring it doesn't affect us.

So let's check this retriever.

It doesn't affect us.

I followed the same process to check all of them.

They don't affect us.

So we're fine to upload to pop sockets and phone cases in terms of copyright.

Like I said, go back to the tutorials.

I show exactly how we check for copyright.

But in this case, we don't have any copyright concerns because we're only using a golden retriever

design.

The design we've got from Voxel.

So we have a license.

No issues with that.

And the golden retriever is a dog breed, so it's not going to be copyrighted.

So we find from the aspects if you don't have this extension, you can use the USPTO, just like I showed

you in the trademark tutorial and for checking for trademarks and copyright in other marketplaces.

Just follow Ushioda in the copyright and trademark tutorials.

Everything is shown there in detail.

So once we've done our due diligence, we've checked for copyright and trademarks and we happy we then

proceed to publish.

We get presented with these two options, either unsearchable or searchable, obviously wants to keep

it searchable so that your products get shown on Amazon.

Otherwise, if you're selling a design privately and you don't want it to be published to Amazon, then

you click on Unsearchable and this will generate a private link that you can give to the person who's

going to be purchasing your design.

One other amazing feature is that we can save public settings, which means that everything that we've

done is saved when we click save public settings.

So if you have multiple designs that you want to publish to the same niche with the same keywords,

same colors, same types, basically you want to retain all of that information, you can just click

save public settings and it will save that profile for you.

So next time you open the page, everything will be saved apart from your design and you simply drag

and drop the designs and click publish.

And it's very, very easy to do.

And if you want to delete your custom settings, you simply come up here and delete.

So once you're happy with everything, you click, publish and it asks you to confirm.

Then you click publish again and you're done.

Your upload will go through the review process, which typically takes between five and ten minutes.

If it's all fine, then it will go through a process and then it gets published.

If it's not fine, then you'll get rejection.

And in a later lesson we'll discuss what to do when you get rejection.

And that's it.
