to be back hosting this year.

We couldn't resist sprinkling
a little bit of pixie dust

around the parks
and celebrating the Hough way

to officially kick off
the holidays.

It is so great to be back

spreading the holiday cheer

and getting us all ready

for the holiday season

with this annual tradition.

I mean, can you believe

it was five years ago

we hosted the very first
"Magical Holiday Celebration"?

I mean,
we were just little babies,

just little kids.
Just little kids, yes.

Yeah, yeah.
Very big kids,
which is exactly

how I feel every time
I visit a Disney Park.

Same here, and there's
nothing better than being

at Disney Parks
during the holidays.

And this year especially,

I know we could all use
some holiday cheer.

2020 has been such
a challenging time for everyone.

But tonight,
we want you to sit back,

put on your Mickey ears,
and take a trip with us

down memory lane for some
of the most heartwarming

holiday performances
over the years.

And we're so lucky to have
a member of the Disney family

host this party
with us tonight.

He's a musician, singer,
and one of the stars

Three months old.

He doesn't cry pretty much
for anything but food

and changing the diaper,
so that's been a blessing,

that it's been pretty easy
and fun with him.

And our family, we're filled
with joy right now.

So it's super exciting.

a bit more clearly.

And, you know, they have so much
personality at that stage.

a big kid at Disney.

So when I get to the park,

Me and Russ have to like,
"Okay, you hold Win,

and then I go on the ride
with the kids."

So we'll be doing
a lot of that,

and I can't wait
to get back out there.

Yeah.
This time of year

is very, very magical
for so many reasons.

But it's been a tough year
for so many.

And you and Russell have been
giving back in a major way --

10 million meals.

What inspired that?

Yeah, you know,
here in Washington,

you know,
our home state,

you know, this was
the epicenter of COVID.

And, you know,
when the pandemic started,

you know, we,
just like the rest of the world,

were trying
to figure it all out.

And, you know,
one of the greatest necessities

in a time like this is food.
Right?

You know, we can't really
survive without it, you know?

And so that was a blessing,
and Russell and I were excited

about being able
to make a difference

in any place that we could,
'cause every little bit counts.

It absolutely does,

and you have such --
the most beautiful heart,

and are truly

such an inspiration
to all of us.

You know, it reminds me
that in this time,

in this challenging time,
there are people out there

working to really make this
a wonderful world.

We've seen doctors, nurses,
frontline workers

step up during this pandemic,

and there have been countless
others making sacrifices

for the greater good.

Like twin sisters Tilesha McFee
and Tameka Mays,

who joined forces to give back
to their community,

confronting a global crisis
with a little help,

a dose of hope,
and a lot of heart.

Take a look.

Tameka: We're starting a little
early this morning.

We have produce, chicken,
hot dogs, eggs, apples --

a little of everything.

Man: Tameka, is that it
for this truck?
Tameka: Yep!

Raymond: Tameka and Tilesha,
they just...

like the Doublemint Twins.

It comes natural, man.
I don't know.

It's in the DNA somewhere.

Tilesha: We grew up
in New Castle and
Wilmington, Delaware.

75% of the families in that area
are impoverished.

Despite the poverty,
despite the crime,

there are a lot of people

who care about each other
and the community.

When the pandemic hit,
everybody, like, bunkered down.

We didn't lose our income
during the pandemic,

but I know many people
who did.

In the back of my mind, I just
kept having this feeling like,

who's going to help
these families?

And I was like,
we have to do something.

Tilesha set up
a fundraiser online.

I was like, "Hey, we're
bringing food into Delaware.

It's gonna cost us
like $600."

Within a day,
we achieved that goal.

Within a week,
we had like $1,000.

At the end of the fundraiser,

it closed at $10,000.

That one-time load of food
turned into,

seven months later,

we're still bringing food
into the area.

Volunteers and so many people
reached out

to want to help
so many needy families.

People sending messages
like, "Thank you so much.

If it wasn't for you this week,
you know,

we wouldn't have
been able to eat."

We saw a need and we stepped in
and filled the need.

This feeds a family of four
for a week.

Ready?

We are making soup
for the community.

Then you just push and move
at the same time.

Our girls typically
always come and help.

Tameka:
I have three kids.

We always try to teach our girls
to do what's right,

even when no one's looking,

and help others
that are in need.

I have four kids and I want
to be a good example to them.

Girl: Mom, can I have
some chicken here?

-Mom!
-I'm coming!

No one should have to make
a choice about whether or not

they're gonna feed
their families

or pay their bills.

If we could alleviate
one burden,

we were hoping that we could
do that for people.

enjoyed it.

of all the fun stuff,

stay motivated?

It's so much
that you're doing.

by our families.

an amazing example to our girls

When I was first brought
onto this project,

it was nothing but dirt
and a whole bunch of drawings.

such an amazing job

with both our Pixar animators
and our Imagineers here.

We do years and years
of research

before we even put a shovel
in the ground.

We have architects, designers,
construction managers.

We have over 140
different disciplines

continually working together
to execute the creative vision.

One of the things I'm most
excited for is our guests

when they exit just to have
that huge smile on their face

and know that you've created
some magical memories

for guests and their families.

And it's gonna be like
Christmas morning.
