Well, this is my take
on a modern-day Christmas.

I present to you
my ice princess door.

That's on brand.

That's very nice, Regine.

All right, everyone,
let's head downstairs

so we can see
the other presentations.

My sister designed this door.

We designed this door.

We designed the door

to reflect
on our last Christmas
with our mother.

Aw.

The Red Velvet background
represents the runner

that our mother always used
under the Christmas tree.

The plaid border
is reminiscent of the dresses

we wore
to Christmas Eve service.
[laughing]

Why would we wear that?

I don't know.

[Kristina]
The sprigs of cranberries
and evergreen

were some of our mom's
favorite decorating elements

And the ballerina ornament...

[instrumental music playing]

Ballerina ornament
was her favorite one
to hang on the tree.

Finally,
the photos we selected...

are of a generation of strong,

beautiful, Black women
who raised us.

Our mother taught us values
and the importance of family

and the love of a good joke.

we're living now.
