which was already so amazing.

Like as someone who
is AFAB and does drag,

I experience a lot of stuff
like this all the time,

and then always being told
like, no matter what I do,

no matter how I perform,
no matter what I look like,

I'm never gonna be
good enough ever.

It's so difficult to
not compare yourself

to everyone else
that you're seeing,

but at the end of the
day, 11 of us came in,

10 of us are gonna
leave as losers.

The real win was getting cast.

Also, there's no point
in judging each other,

'cause that's not our job.

- And we're all so different,

it's not even fair
to compare anything.

of like all artists

and all different

have haunted our legends,

myths, and fables for
thousands of years.

Many people have claimed
to see or smell them.

But not many have
lived to tell the tale.

- All that will change tonight

in our Hairy Monster challenge.

- Where you will
design and create

your very own hairy
monster creature,

and model your look in
this week's floor show.

- You can make
your monster scary,

campy, funny, or serious,

but it must be based on
the hairy monster theme.

- I work in a diner
and I have a problem.

creatures to life.

That's why I'm busting ass,

just trying to make this happen.

I'm really confident
about my look today,

but then, I was also last week,

and then I ended
up in the bottom.

This is down to
the nitty gritty.

- After last week, I
just wanna like show off.

You know?

I fought to be here really hard,

I fought through
a whole special.

The season's not going
at all like I planned.

I planned on coming here and
serving the best looks ever,

and kind of just like
walking through it,

but everyone's here to
play, so I need to also

be ready to play, as well.

I got a lot to prove.

I got a lot of people who
need to me to prove it.

Sometimes, it can get
like, really overwhelming,

and I think sometimes, that
gets like the better of me.

When that happens, it's
hard to like, not be like,

to get in my feelings,
if that makes sense.

- It's a competition.

I have a lot of pressure
in the competition.

After winning "Resurrection,"
I have a whole community

of people who look
up to me as the one

who's supposed to break
the ground for them.

So it's a lot, it's a lot.

- I know you talked a little
bit about your critiques

in the Cauldron and stuff,

but how are you feeling
now that you've had

some time to sleep on it?

- It's not like a bad
thing, because like, yeah,

I was in the top last
week, but it was just like,

I didn't come here to just like-

- To be safe.
- To be safe.

- Of course not.

- Like I'm here to like,
you know, just show, like,

how different it is to be Black
and doing alternative drag.

- Right.

- And it's just a
lot of pressure.

Like, especially when
Koco and Merrie went home.

It's just like now, like
the boots are on even more.

- I don't feel like
Saint is in her head.

Having all of that weight
that she's carrying,

that's motivation.

I don't think that's like
her necessary responsibility.

I think that's just like what
she wants to push forward,

and we all know that it's
important that we do that.

I mean, from where
I was standing,

your critiques
were very all high,

I think it was just
mainly, they just,

the performance aspect
of it was pretty much

the only thing they
read, not even really.

- Just be a better performer?

- Not be a better performer.

They just wanna see
like, the bite from you,

like just, you know?

'Cause you, I even got a lot

of the same critiques
on my season,

because my character was just
like ethereal all the time.

So like, hand gestures and
stuff were just like slow

and dramatic, but
like they do like it

when you're like (growls).

I just feel like she's
having a hard time

like breaking this
like ethereal creature

that she's made herself into,

which is absolutely stunning,

but I think based
on her critiques,

she needs to show a
little more energy,

a little more (growls).

- When I'm in the floor shows,

I need to kind of leave the
things that I'm thinking behind.

- Oh, absolutely.

- And just be myself,
and give them like Saint,

and I feel like a
lot of my floor shows

have been missing that,
because it does have

the extra burden of
showing representation,

but I think I need to be Saint.

- Regardless of what you
do, that representation part

will always be here.

That is, like it's
documented for life now.

So like, you're doing that part.

So now it's just time to
focus on you doing you,

and fucking murdering
the catwalk.

- I'm going to murder it.

- So for my hairy monster, I
decided to be a troll. (laughs)

I'm just going to be as
disgusting as possible.

I've made this lovely
little creature suit

with hair that is hand-laid
individually with latex

all throughout, and you can
see some of this Arda wig

in here that I've
cut up and added.

Very nice little touch there.

But it's kind of like
he's wearing this. (yells)

(Dahli laughs)
(Sigourney screams)

(Dahli yells)

My heart just sank into
my stomach. (laughs)

- [Sigourney] You're welcome.

(Dahli laughs sarcastically)

So my idea with using the
wigs is going to be making

almost like scalps
of the victims

that couldn't
quite pay the toll.

I have a well-guarded
bridge. (chuckling)

- So for my hairy monsters look,

I was inspired by the Mothman.

I thought everyone was gonna
go more like mammal route,

like werewolf, Yeti,
so I chose to go

a little more insect-y with it.

My Mothman is inspired
by the rosy maple moth,

which is this moth with crazy
yellow and pink color scheme.

So this is gonna be a creature
who's just misunderstood,

loves fun colors and
ribbons, just wants to play,

but scares all
the children away,

because he's so
damn scary looking.

I used the Arda wig to
actually create this beard

that I'm gonna lay
on top of my face.

I think it's gonna
be really fun.

I'm really excited.

I created my sketches
using tablets

and computer softwares.

That's kind of how I
like to work usually.

I think it's cleaner.

I think it gets my
point across better.

- Well, this is my
lovely doodle that I did.

I have a stunning
60-inch wig, look out.

I am currently attempting to sew

these tiny little individual
detached wisps of hair

to these delicious nail gloves.

So I'm going for like
Anna Nicole Smith

meets the Wolfman
kind of beauty.

I'm excited to show
off some hairy titties.

- Well, my inspiration
is the Cat in the Hat,

and how twisted he
is, and growing up,

I was just afraid of him.

So now I love kids. (laughs)

I was a preschool teacher,

so I wanna bring my fears
and my passions together.

I started teaching preschool
because they made me feel

something that I was not
feeling, and it was happiness.

So this is one of my
victims, one of their spine.

I'm gonna be like eating them.

So I'm gonna create cartilage
out of liquid latex.

I'm just gonna place
it into the bones,

and give it a structure.

So I'm incorporating
some of the hair

that I'm chopping from
Arda Wigs into my bat,

just so I have more cohesion.

I want my bat to be like the
reason how I killed them.

I just hit them in the head.

a family member, essentially.

transform all of that energy

and try to use it,

on what they did tonight,

from somebody who probably
doesn't deserve it.

It was very much in that alley,

and I was living for the pink.

I just love the pink accents.

- This insectoid
personified was cute.

It was kind of
masculine, bearded,

I love your usage
of the Arda wig,

and just this color
scheme is so imaginative

and full fantasy.

- HoSo did crouch over at one
point during the performance

and was going like
this, and for a second,

I was like, is she about to
fucking transform or something?

I thought that another
costume was gonna come out.

I was like, Jesus Christ.

- Oh, no, that would've
been the surprise

we all would want to see, yeah.

say anything bad about this.

The whole of it is
absolutely everything.

It is stunning, it is magical,

and it is freaky and scary.

outside of the realm

of what you all are wearing.

I want you to work
on your self-reliance

when it comes to preparing

seen some of this before,

some of the glamour

I would love to see
something different,

something filthy and
fabulous or monstrous,

And I would like to
see more hair, as well,

especially with Krampus, who
embodies a hairy monster.

opportunity for surprises.

That pack was there
and I kept wondering,

what's going to happen with it?

Well, nothing really
happened with it.

I thought that maybe
underneath all those tresses,

there might be surprises
in the costume,

and there was just kind of
a lack of surprise beyond

the surprise of
choosing the Krampus.

that you have been
consistently bringing glamour,
