And always wanted to ride
it, but I wasn't tall enough.

So my mom, she got a pencil
and she went into my bedroom

and she made a little
mark on the wall,

the exact height that I
needed to be to ride it.

And she promised me that
when I was tall enough,

we would ride it together.

So, every day, I would measure
myself against that mark

until I was the right height.

But by that time, she
couldn't really get out

of bed anymore, not to
mention ride a roller coaster.

So I got pretty upset.

I didn't understand why she
couldn't keep her promises

and I thought she
didn't love me enough.

So I, uh, punched a hole
right through the wall

where that pencil mark was.

- You should've just breathed.

Isn't that what you tell me
to do when I lose my temper?

- Yeah, you're right.

Right, that's what
I should've done

but I didn't know
that back then.

I also didn't really
understand that the reason

she didn't keep her promise
is because she wasn't well,

she needed help, it
had nothing to do with

her not loving me enough.

but some wild horses are

His name was Caz.

has a similar look.
