you'll know she got them."

That very night,
I went back to her room.

I looked out the window,

waiting for a sign
that Mom was all right.

I didn't have to
wait very long.

It's been more than 20 years
now since Mom died,

and while many things
have changed,

every time I look up
at the stars,

I know Mom's okay.

[emotional music]

it could be like this.

or fantasy did I imagine.
