Hot Girl

- Episode 4 -

Now you know your strength doesn't compare to hers.

If I can't beat her once, I'll do it twice, if that doesn't work then three times.

I'll win eventually.

That's the mentality of a gambler.

If you don't improve your strength, you'll lose however many times you try.

Haven't you heard that fighting is the best way to improve one's strength?

I will become stronger and stronger.

You should also join that no-boundary training camp.

Me?

Yeah. Your computer specialty will be used to its full potential.

Who are you kidding? I don't want to get beaten up along with you!

I'll do the fighting, you'll do the thinking. Okay?

Really? There won't be any danger?

How could there be any danger? I'll protect you.

Since you say that, then I'll risk my life to accompany you, Oh Noble One.

That's my best friend! Here, cheers.

Look.

Let's go.

Brother Kuohai,

there's something I should tell you.

Xiaodi's mother passed away when she was very young.

She was brought up by me.

I have spoiled her.

But I hope that when she's in your care,

you can teach her to become better.

You must not be merciful.

No matter what you do,

I will be handing my daughter over to you.

Let's talk about this after she passes the test.

All right.

Also, if she really can pass the test,

I will be able to offer her the opportunity

to change and become a new person.

With these words from you, I rest assured.

But believe me,

Xiaodi's performance will definitely not disappoint you.

Let's go.

Tianqi.

Cui Tianqi.

I almost didn't react to your calling me that.

Xiaodi, do you know? Other than my parents,

no one calls me by that name.

If those online admirers of Pink Panther saw you right now,

they would go out of their minds.

Even if they saw me, they wouldn't know I'm Pink Panther.

Those are all virtual avatars.

You are my only family in real life.

That's true.

We haven't met each other many times actually.

But in my heart,

I feel that you are more important to me than Emma, Cong Ling, and Lanlan.

I feel like you're my only best friend.

Many familiar people are actually strangers,

and sometimes, you feel more secure and trusting with strangers.

You think that, too?

Deep within our hearts, we are actually the same.

You are the Pink Panther in real life.

I am the Guan Xiaodi online.

That sounds about right.

So you are my alter ego.

[ International/ Hong Kong/ Macao/Taiwan Arrivals]

He's here.

Begin the operation.

Wait a second. I think something's off.

I feel like we're being followed.

Target spotted, begin Plan A.

Over there.

Sorry, sir. I'm in a rush.

Thank you for taking care of the children of our motherland. Bye-bye.

You were chosen, too?

If you can be chosen, so can I.

What were you doing at the airport?

Even if you don't say anything, I know.

Your target is that briefcase.

Get out.

Drive. I will pay once we're there.

Get out.

Want to defeat me? In your next life.

Hello, allow me.

Thank you.

- You first. - Okay.

- Floor 20. - I already pressed it.

I'm staying in room 2013, and you?

I'm in room 2012.

What a coincidence. We're neighbours then. Let's go.

This way, please.

Okay.

Why have you come to Nanjing, sir?

- Travelling. - Oh?

What a coincidence, same here. I'm by myself.

If you're free, we can get together to play.

Good idea.

- Bye-bye. - Okay. Goodbye.

- Xiaodi. - How did it go?

Why are you only here now?

Don't mention it. It's all because of that tomboy. I ran several kilometers.

Others will think I'm a runaway bride. Look.

How do you look like a bride?

More like a runaway convict.

What are you talking about?

Zhang Yan, whose strength is about on par with yours...

Plus, Liang Dawei. If there's a third person,

then they're too powerful.

Come here, look. The target has left his room.

Keep a close eye on him. Report the situation at all times.

Roger.

Should we follow him, too?

- What now? - Do we follow or not?

I have a solution.

Look, he came out.

So Guan Xiaodi's third member is Ju Liang.

He's nothing to worry about.

The main person we have to be careful of is Guan Xiaodi.

They won't have any chances, anyway.

Ma Li is already in action.

Are you Guan Xiaodi's comrade?

What do you want?

Name's Liang Dawei. And you?

Fine. I'll find out sooner or later, anyway.

Take a message back to Guan Xiaodi for me:

That briefcase is mine.

Hey, uncle!

You are here, too.

Hello, I will have the same as his. Thanks

Okay.

What kind of alcohol is this? What's it called?

Killer.

Such an intimidating name.

What is in this drink?

A shot of vodka,

part gold wine, part rum,

3 parts Bacardi, and a slice of lime.

Hurry! Give me one!

Let me try this.

This drink isn't meant for a young lady.

Don't look down on me, watch this.

Can't say I didn't warn you!

There is this other drink called The Last Man.

2 parts tequila, 7 parts Sprite,

and finally 5 to 6 drops of Tabasco

super spicy hot sauce. That's what I call stimulating.

Why is it called The Last Man?

Because you have to drink 6 in a row.

The last one standing after those 6 shots is the Last Man.

- Okay, can I have two of The Last Man? - Sure.

Can you handle it?

You will see!

Good!

Uncle,

you let my little sister drink such strong drinks, what did you have in mind?

Your little sister?

Little sister, you came out by yourself so late at night.

Our parents will worry.

Go home early to sleep, okay?

Good girl.

Uncle, since my sister left, how about I have a drink with you?

Okay.

Cheers.

Another round?

Okay!

Cheers.

Miss, this room...

Guan Xiaodi?

So the third person is you.

Stop, don't run.

Diverting my attention.

Cui Tianqi, they are trying to lure us away.

Go to room 2012, fast! I'll be there soon.

Pretty lady, sorry.

I'm going to head out first.

Liang Dawei.

You—!

You cheated again!

You have to expect the unexpected, understand?

Where is the briefcase?

Expect the unexpected.

Got it.

Mission complete

Yes! Let's go.

Let's go.

Mission complete.

Instructor Liu, you can announce we won now, right?

Who says you guys won?

Mission complete.

Hers is definitely a fake.

Who says yours is real?

Expect the unexpected, understand?

What is happening?

Our mission is only to protect the briefcase, so as long as we have the briefcase then all our worries will be gone.

So you mean... we should steal it?

Exchange it with a substitute.

That's an awesome bracelet! I want one!

- Keep dreaming! I am the only one in the entire world who has this! - I'm going.

That's cheating! You should disqualify her.

You lost so I'm cheating? You get to make the rules?

What tricksters! If you have the guts, let's have a real duel.

We won by our intelligence. Blunt aggressiveness is useless.

You!

Guan Xiaodi, you are that sure you have won?

Of course! The mission you gave us was to protect this briefcase for 24 hours, and we did it.

Something wrong?

Give me the briefcase.

Is it really necessary to check?

Fine.

This—!

- What is happening? - What is happening?

Have both of these briefcases been empty from the start?

Which one of these is real?

I have the real briefcase.

In this mission, both your teams lost.

This is your target briefcase.

Uncle, how can we believe you?

From the moment you got in the cab, we haven't taken our eyes off the briefcase.

Now you are bring out another. You might be playing with us.

Are you sure your eyes didn't leave the briefcase for one second?

Sorry, sir. I have urgent matters.

Thank you for taking care of the children in our motherland. Bye-bye!

The briefcase was exchanged at the very beginning.

From beginning to end, both teams were vying over an empty box.

You all thoroughly failed this test.

What are you trying to say?

I just want to tell you youngsters,

your true abilities are far from what you imagine.

Your strengths are not great at all.

Weirdo. I hate people who come into your life to teach you a lesson and then leave immediately afterward.

So right now, I don't have any interest in you anymore.

And I definitely don't care what you think of me.

- Xiaodi. - Wait.

What else do you want to say?

I am here to give you a lecture, but I didn't turn on my heels to leave.

What do you want, then?

If you want all the answers, then follow me somewhere.

To a place that can change your life's destiny.

Once we're there, you'll get the answers you want.

And why should we believe you?

You can choose not to believe her,

but you must believe in your own perseverance.

In this world, all perseverance

is meaningful.

Unless at the final moment, because of fear,

you give up.

Go on or give up. The choice is yours.

Fine, I'll go. I want to see what kind of monsters you have over there.

[L.H.S.D.]

[The Aegis International Bodyguard Agency: The Shield]

[L.H.S.D. Training Agency]

Welcome to L.H.S.D.

♫ Make the fire of fear leave. It will never encircle us. ♫

Follow me, please.

♫ Turn peril into safety. Find your own style. ♫

♫ Our burning willpower makes us grow stronger. ♫

♫ The protection of the shield will dissipate all sources of danger ♫

♫ Our every mission is the incarnation of justice. ♫

♫ Right now, let us lead the way into battle. ♫

♫ You don’t need to strengthen yourself in persistent confusion. ♫

♫ Slowly learn the meaning of existence. ♫

♫ Break through the fog and go search for the lost footprints. ♫

♫ Let everything turn into the truth. ♫

♫ Fire shield! Overcome the confusion from the demon in your heart. ♫

I remember now! I've seen L.H.S.D. on the official National Security website before.

They are an international safety training school.

They are ranked by the American Safety Training Center as a premium security agency.

This is too cool.

You seem to know a lot.

Since it's so awesome, why are we here?

♫ Within the range of safety, there is orderly evacuation. ♫

♫ Make the fire of fear leave. It will never encircle us. ♫

♫ Our wild instincts are ultimately hard for us to resist. ♫

♫ Turn peril into safety. Find your own style. ♫

♫ Our burning willpower makes us grow stronger. ♫

♫ The protection of the shield will dissipate all sources of danger. ♫

They must have brought us here to tell us something.

Probably a lesson.

Hello, everyone.

I want to tell you all that L.H.S.D.'s training camp has already begun.

Hurry and go.

What are you standing there for? Hurry!

It's you.

You are head of L.H.S.D?

First of all, let me introduce myself.

I am Xiong Kuohai.

I am L.H.S.D.'s founder.

I am also this training camp's head instructor.

Then all those previous challenges were organized by you?

This is also one of the components of the training camp.

Since we are China's top security company,

only the bravest, most dauntless,

smartest, and brightest youth qualify to make it in here.

Then that means we're elites.

You can say it like that, too.

Instructor Xiong, what will we be trained in?

We train in the world's most top notch method, the Israeli lesson pattern.

At the same time we have invited

the most experienced

elite-level instructors to personally train you.

So you are saying that being in L.H.S.D. is just being a bodyguard?

Then what's the need for a training camp?

With my current abilities, I'm already completely capable of it.

You think being a bodyguard is that easy?

Uncle, that time I saved that kid I was hiding my abilities.

Hey! You weren't the only one who helped with the rescue. I was there, too.

Right. Him, too. The both of us.

So Uncle, can naturals like me--

Can naturals like us, who are smart and brave,

just skip the training camp?

Who else thinks they don't need any training?

Is there anyone?

Guan Xiaodi,

come outside with me.

- Xiaodi-- - Where are you going? You didn't raise your hand earlier. Where do you think you are going now?

- Do we have any tasks available right now? - Oh.

We just accepted one, it's to protect stray dogs.

The client is an online-based animal lovers' organization.

What are the details?

This organization thinks that around Yulin's industrial zone,

there is a group of dognappers that's been taking both strays and pet dogs

and then selling them on the black market. I was going to go take a look.

Protecting stray dogs?

That's easy! Just find the dognappers and expose them; problem solved.

What? You want to go?

I want to try. But I have a condition.

Speak. What condition?

If I successfully complete the mission, I can skip the training camp and automatically join L.H.S.D.

We'll talk about that once you've completed the mission.

Why did you come out here?

Instructor, I want to try, too.

Perfect. I'm lacking in underlings.

Hey, hey, hey. Who's your underling?

Can't you speak properly?

That's enough. This mission is in both your hands.

Give them the address.

Leave it to me.

Boss, can they do it?

Don't worry. I'll follow them.

With you personally going along, there'll be no problems.

This place is so big. How are we supposed to find them?

Looks like I have to use my ultimate move.

What ultimate move?

What are you doing? Is it effective?

Of course, it's effective.

Over there!

It actually worked.

That way!

Look over there. What is that?

Let's go.

There are so many dogs.

- What are you doing? - Taking pictures of their crimes for evidence.

Are you taking clear pictures?

Of course, they are, no need to ask that.

I didn't ask you.

What are you two doing sneaking around?

What are you doing here then? Are all those dogs yours?

Don't you know you are abusing animals by doing that?

So what if I'm abusing animals?

Little kid, you are quite nosy.

I'll beat you up!

You two kids dare to try to ambush me? Come out here, guys!

- Be careful. - Take care of yourself first.

They're quite mean. Take care of them!

Quickly, let's go!

- What's wrong? - Someone's causing trouble. Fourth Brother is holding them back. Let's leave!

Whoever takes down theirs first wins.

No problem.

I won.

What's so good about winning?

Oh, no! They all ran away.

Let's chase them.

Faster, faster!

Who are you to block our way? Scram!

- Let's go! - Wait.

What a jerk. Trying to play it cool? Get him!

This uncle's got some awesome skills.

Of course. He's L.H.S.D's founder.

He's one of the strongest.

Uncle, you're incredible. I'm willing to learn from you.

Do you know how poor your performance was today?

Do you know how many mistakes you made?

Number one: Under the circumstances, without knowing the enemies' capabilities,

you rashly charged in

and put yourselves in the danger zone.

Number two: You guys started fighting with them

and were so mentally-involved

that you forgot your true goal. Number three:

When faced with unexpected problems, your reactions were not agile enough,

resulting in mission failure.

But those were all coincidences. Who knew they would run away?

And fortunately, we had you.

Those who find excuses for their failures

will never succeed.

Lesson one of being a bodyguard: You must first learn

that when you come across a real criminal,

call the police immediately.

Then are we still allowed to participate in the training camp?

Do you really want to?

- I do! - I do!

[AK Boxing Club]

Lu Lin, just wait for me for a little longer.

I want to stay with Xiaodi a little more.

Lu Lin, I really miss you!

- Xiaodi. - Hey!

Is it fun?

Why don't we go back for now?

The doctor said you need rest.

Forget it. Let her play a while longer.

I want to watch her more.

Dad, open the door.

- Dad. - Coming.

Why did you lock the door?

You're back.

Drinking alone, you can't fall asleep?

You have insomnia?

So grim.

Here, have a sip.

So bitter.

You coming here in the middle of the night is bad news. What's wrong?

Says who? This time it's definitely good news.

What is it? Tell me.

I want to join a training camp held by L.H.S.D.

L.H.S.D. training camp?
