Truth or Dare

Episode 27

Decisive Battle

Dad.

Sweetheart.

I'm sorry.

I did all what I could.

But Mei Shiqing said

he didn't want to see me

and let me leave.

I thought it over.

You're an adult now.

I won't get you involved.

Dad.

Let's leave together.

No.

But...

But you and Mei Shiqing...

Let's go.

Bao.

We should leave here soon,

or Nan Batian will keep disturbing us.

It's a big world.

There will be a place for us.

Let's find an isolated place.

I'll give you a lot of Buns and Dumplings. [sons]

We don't have to choose an auspicious day.

Let's do it today.

Knock it off.

We still have to tell

Pelletie and Mei Shiqing.

Come on.

- Pelletie. - Speaking of...

What's up, He?

Uncle He. What happened?

Why're you crying?

Pelletie.

You really won't see Mei Shiqing again?

I hate to be

the one who makes him suffer.

Isn't it boring to drink alone?

I'll drink with you.

I heard

the whole thing.

You don't have to...

Come on.

What's the use of drinking?

In my opinion,

you should find the killer

and kill him.

All those years,

I've been looking for the clues.

Now

Crazy Chen and Fan are dead.

I still couldn't find the killer.

I'm so regretful

that I didn't

see clearly the man who killed my mom

with a stick.

The man with a stick?

You mean

the murderer had a stick?

Yes.

I'll never forget it.

There was a emerald on it.

He beat my mom so hard with it.

Wait.

About the man with it,

I know him.

You do?

Who?

Nan Batian.

Nan Batian.

Nan Batian.

I should've noticed that.

Why did Fan hide in the stockade

and He Yizhi gave the address to Penglai Casino,

then

Nan Batian went to kill my mom with his men.

He took off the emerald

to keep conceal himself 10 years ago.

Few people know that.

Nan Batian.

You'll cut you into pieces.

I'll help you.

Now Crazy Chen and Fan are dead.

Mei Shiqing

will investigate you soon.

What're you talking about?

Stop pretending.

I know what you did to them

Dragon Stockade's weak now.

If the Meis' army attack here,

it'll be too late to regret.

Say no more.

I am

desperate now.

And it's too late

to recruit men.

Brother Situ, why don't you

tell me what to do?

Calm down.

You just recruit the men,

I'll keep the Meis' army busy.

Keep them busy?

Brother Situ.

I didn't know

you're capable to do that.

Some powerful man got your back?

Could you

introduce me to him?

Just recruit your men.

I'll introduce you

when we

get through this.

OK.

Wu.

Yes.

Master?

Go.

Recruit more men.

Yes.

Bao. You really want to

destroy the stockade with Mei Shiqing?

Nan Batian's my adoptive father.

But he forced me to do many bad things.

I also witnessed

how he treated

those disobedient brothers.

Yaoyao.

I got to tell

right from wrong since you showed up.

I also know

that I'm just

a tool for him.

He'd kill me like killing a dog

when I was useless to him.

Bao.

I think you're right.

Yaoyao, trust me.

When I help Shiqing finish this matter,

I'll leave this place with you.

Let's travel all over the world.

I can go anywhere

as long as you're with me.

Let's go there.

What's that?

Let's take a look.

You haven't paid me yet.

It's just an apple.

What're you looking at?

Aren't they Bao and the busker?

What a small world.

Take a look at those excellent goods.

Buy one.

Look.

Master Bao.

Long time no see.

Dragon Stockade begins to recruit men.

It's a bold move.

I thought of it before.

To think it happens so soon.

What will be, will be.

Master, I'll go with you to kill Nan Batian.

Dragon Stockade has many people,

now they're recruiting.

It won't be so easy to kill him.

What're you afraid of?

What matters is their ringleader.

Let's catch Nan Batian.

Bao told me

that Nan Batian was very strong.

The two of us won't be his match.

Then what shall we do?

We must be cautious

in this situation.

Rou has the point.

We must have a sure card.

The only force who can fight Dragon Stockade

is the Meis.

But General Mei's opinion

towards this...

Will he help us?

I'll persuade him.

After all,

to bring more honor to this family

is his lifelong wish.

It's also my duty as a member of the Meis.

First,

it's for the people here.

Or the people will keep on suffering

from Dragon Stockade and Salter Cartel.

Second,

it's for my mom.

That's the duty of us.

But even if General Mei agrees with us,

there's a formation beside the stockade.

The army couldn't go in.

I'll take you there.

Why're you here?

Where's the princess?

We just met Wu.

There were too many of them,

so they

took Yingyao away.

What?

Leave the stockade to Master Bao.

Let's split up.

I'll ask my dad to dispatch the troops.

Siheng.

You'll scout the stockade with Master Bao.

Yes.

Rou.

Take care of

Pelletie and He Yizhi.

You got it.

Tell her to wait for me.

Look, brother Situ.

The recruitment

is almost finished.

Are you sure you can distract the Meis' army?

Trust me.

They'll leave here.

Qing City

will be yours by then.

Great!

Master.

The recruitment is done.

I also brought back someone for you.

Move.

Pelletie.

You slut.

You cooked my goose.

God bless me.

I'll marry you when I take over

Qing City.

You'll wish you're dead.

I'd rather die.

That's not your call.

Take her away.

Hold on.

It belongs to the Royal Family.

Why do you have it?

Someone gave it to me.

Brother Situ.

She's just a busker.

How could she have a royal thing?

Don't fuss about it. Go.

Move.

Move.

Don't call me that.

- Call me Pe... - Honey.

Brother Situ.

Could I learn doing business with you?

Nonsense.

How could it be nonsense? I mean it.

You're a princess.

So what?

I know it from childhood

that you should rely on yourself.

I want to learn it.

Dad.

You've just recovered. You should rest more.

I'm alright.

I'm here to ask you to send the army.

Send the army?

Because of Dragon Stockade?

I just got a secret report.

Dragon Stockade has been recruiting.

They're going to attack here soon.

Those bandits

are getting bolder.

Dad, the people here won't have peace

until that stockade's eliminated.

I also found out

that Nan Batian

is the murderer of my mom.

Li Tianlong let him do that.

What?

Nan Batian.

It was him.

I'll grind your bones!

Since we found the murderer,

Dad,

we should

fight them by all means.

Shiqing.

Look at this.

What?

Yong Province is in a dire situation.

The court requires me to reinforce there.

When will you set out?

Tomorrow morning.

We outnumber

the enemy in Yong Province.

There's no requiring for reinforcement.

Why're they dispatching our army suddenly?

It's odd indeed.

Dragon Stockade's recruiting

and the court's dispatching us.

Dad, I don't think it's a coincidence.

Dad, we can't delay the attack on the stockade.

I'll do it now.

No.

Shiqing.

Nan Batian's ruthless and has many men.

If something happens to you,

how can I

face our ancestors?

But dad,

the people of Qing

are like our relatives.

Shiqing, how can you fight them

without the Meis' army?

Trust me, dad.

the people of Felicity Tavern are loyal ones.

We'll protect here with our lives.

Rou, why're you here?

Come on in.

Rou, what happened?

It's not safe here.

I came to take you to the temple of the south

to hide.

Something happened to Shiqing?

No.

Nan Batian will concentrate forces against the city.

Master and the others will attack them.

And...

And what?

Master knows

that Nan Batian killed her mother.

It'll be a great war.

Master told me

to arrange for you and uncle He.

Where's he now?

Did he go to the stockade?

Rou, could you tell me?

I know you want to help.

But Master told me specially

to let you wait for him.

I know how to protect myself.

I won't make trouble.

Rou.

I know

we can't be together.

Just help me to fulfill my wish.

Rou.

I, He Yizhi, had told him

that I'd do anything for redemption.

I won't flee this time.

Right, sweetheart?

Rou, please tell us.

All right, follow me.

Bros.

The stockade's stronger now.

There're many new faces here.

I assure you that you'll have a luxury life

as long as you work hard for me.

Great.

We

dared not to leave here before.

We won't from now on.

I've got reliable news

that the Meis' army left for Yong Province.

Come on, bros.

Bottom up.

Let's take Qing City.

OK.

Nan Xiang.

Nan Xiang.

Have a drink with us.

Come on.

Master's daughter's pretty.

Yeah.

The one who marries her

will be the next Master.

You...

As long as you fight well,

it's not impossible to marry her.

Cheers.

Dad. You...

Great.

She's pissed.

She's shy.

She's still a girl.

A girl

is shy.

Drink.

All right.

Come on.

Bottom up.

Wu.

Master.

Take care of the bros.

Eat more, don't drink too much.

We've got a great matter to do.

You got it.

Drink as you wish, bros.

Stop.

What're you doing?

I'm leaving.

Leaving?

For what?

You knew it.

Are you going to meet

that treacherous traitor behind my back?

I'm not!

Dad.

I used to believe I was your cherished girl.

Now what?

I'm just a tool for you to control your men.

I'm not stupid.

I knew you'd been using Bao.

But I didn't expect

that you'd use me one day.

It seems I spoiled you.

Listen up,

I'll break your legs

if you dare to leave.

Master, we've got a trouble.

Mei Shiqing and Master Bao are attacking us.

Bao?

Catch the ringleader.

You dared to attack here

with these few people?

You want to die?

Nan Batian.

Don't be so soft when you strike again,

cause you don't have many chances.

You traitor.

I'll kill you first.

Interesting.

Interesting.

Your mother

was killed by me.

Now her son came for revenge,

he'll be killed by me, too.

What a shame.

You old monkey

is full of craps.

Shiqing.

Dad.

Go.

Dad.

Leave me alone.

- Dad! - Just go!

Dad.

Go.

Never mind me.

Dad.

Pelletie.

Dad.

Dad.

Dad.

Master, go. Leave him to me.

Go, Pelletie.

Go.

Take care of my dad.

Shiqing?

Uncle He.

Uncle He.

Uncle He.

Uncle He.

Yaoyao.

Yaoyao.

Go ahead.

Run if you can.

Run away if you

have a chance.

Shiqing.

Shiqing, are you alright?

Shiqing.

Pelletiel.

Shiqing.

Think you can destroy my stockade?

I'll send you to see God of Death.

I'll kill you!

Pelletie.

I killed your mother.

I killed your woman.

Now I'll do you a favor

to send you to them.
