72 times of quenching

My lord,

these two blades

are made with the new technique.

Lord.

With the help of such a technique,

our victory can be expected.

Well done.

Lord Shen,

it’s been confirmed

that Chen Zichen will go hunting soon.

Hyah!

Animal characters made by CG

Animal characters made by CG

You’re in a good mood, Your Highness.

You...

Protect His Highness!

Go, Your Highness!

Don’t move!

You should

hire better guards.

I didn’t do anything to you.

What are you up to?

You, Chen Zichen,

are the perfect leverage

to wipe out the Chens.

Shen Tianshu,

what do you want?

Me?

I want

everything you have.

That small sect of yours

is no match for thousands of our troops.

Bring it here.

Watch carefully.

This is your armor.

Just so you know,

this blade is crafted

according to Refinement of Iron

in the Color of Ocean and Heaven.

How is that possible?

Not just that.

Yu Wenzhi’s force will set out from the north.

You can’t win

a two-fronted war.

The Chens cut the Xiaos off.

Now,

I’m the one

to cut you off.

My lord,

Nanling Prefecture

is to the south of Jiankang.

Once we take it,

it’s only a matter of time

before we occupy Jiankang.

Send scouts there

immediately.

Yes.

Report!

Lord Shen,

Lord Lu had them make you this Iron Hand

with the new technique.

How’s the production

of weapons going?

My lord,

we’ve been remaking them

according to that blacksmith’s original note.

After multiple tests,

we’ve corrected the technique

and been expediting the production.

Lu Tiankuang can no longer be trusted.

Hadn’t you ordered me

to interrogate that traitor

who claimed to have killed that blacksmith,

I wouldn’t have discovered

Lu Tiankuang’s plot.

Then I quickly searched

the blacksmith’s room

and found the original note.

After comparison,

the amount of metal

in our note had been altered.

That’s why blades made previously

were fragile.

Lu Tiankuang tampered with the note

in an attempt to kill me.

Should I

call him naive or stupid?

My lord,

what should we do about him?

Pay him in his own coin.

Use

what he gave us

to make him an iron hook

and send it to him secretly.

Yes.

May I ask

what this secret meeting is about?

We’re here to warn you

that Yu Wenzhi is about to revolt.

Who told you that?

Is there any proof?

Please have a look.

It includes

all Yu Wenzhi’s secret meetings

with General Zhao of Yongzhou.

We also heard

he and Head of Demons Manor, Shen Tianshu,

would take action together soon.

We believe

they’re about to start a war.

How dare

that Yu Wenzhi

rebel against us!

He’s evil.

He accused my father of treason

and slaughtered my whole family.

He’s my mortal enemy.

Please help us.

General Wu was loyal.

He would die for the state.

He shouldn’t have ended up like that.

Rest assured, Miss Wu,

I’ll go back

So I’m thinking to go out

to bring back manuals I missed

to complete my collection.

You’re leaving, too?

Who else is also leaving?

Yan

What are you thinking?

Are you mad?

You’re clearly upset.

I lied.

to deliver the manuals here

to spare me the trip.

Really?

Stop hanging out with Li Yan

or Zhou Fei.

You’ve...

No way.

I enjoy spending time with them.

Choose between me or them.

Which one is it?

I’m going to dry books.

Pieces on the board were messed up.

It took me a while

to reposition them,

but some are still

not the same as before.

I racked my brain to solve it

but the solution is quite simple.

Do you mean

it had been solved?

The game isn’t wrong.

It’s me

I should

I should’ve let go of the past

What about the Anping Army?

The war is over, so they can go home.

It’s good that the masses are safe

and peace is restored.

Yu Wenzhi has been executed

for rebellion.

His evil nature would lead him

down that road sooner or later.

By the way,

what about Shen Tianshu’s men

and villagers

in the Big Medicine Valley?

While the latter

have returned home safe and sound,

the former have been given amnesty.

I hope the heard-earned peace

will last long.

Cherish the Memory of the Ancestors

Loyal and Filial

Loyal and Filial

Cherish the Memory of the Ancestors

Li Sheng,

news came in from our men in Sichuan

that there are bandits

robbing others in the south.

It’s our duty

to protect out there.

Tell them in the letter

that I’ll send our men

to teach those bandits a lesson.

Yes.

Sheng.

Cherish the Memory of the Ancestors

Chuchu.

It’s hot outside.

What brings you here?

To check on you.

I heard you had sent out invitations

to gather martial artists together

on Mid-Autumn Festival.

That’s right.

Your collection of manuals of all sects

is almost complete.

I’d like to

invite them over

to patch things up.

So,

half of all sects will be here?

It’s quite peaceful

in the state,

so they’re free.

Why didn’t you give me a heads-up?

Some of the manuals

are still undone.

What to do?

I can help you.

I’m not busy

with any trouble lately.

You said that yourself.

Cherish the Memory of the Ancestors

Carry them to Li Sheng’s study.

-Yes. -Yes.

Thanks for your help.

Fei.

Here’s a letter from your cousin.

He’s holding a gathering

at Liu’s Manor for Chuchu.

It’s a big event.

He’s probably nervous,

so he wants you there

to support him.

Will you go, Fei?

I have to be there for them.

It’s not too far anyway.

It’s time for all sects of Central Plains

to march into a new phase.

Li Sheng ticks all the boxes

in terms of intelligence, ability and background.

Most importantly, he’s humble

instead of self-conceited.

He’s quite popular

among seniors.

They all favor him.

I bet

all sects are using this chance

to take things up a notch.

Him?

He isn’t

as skilled

as senior masters,

but he’s a rare talent

in the younger generation.

How come he’s a weak nerd

in your eyes?

No wonder

a young and passionate man

like him

is always so modest.

All because he grew up

in a tough environment.

I’d better get more help

for him.

He never gives me a break.

I know, right?

Miss Zhou, you’re an unparalleled

and invincible talent.

Had I known I’d be so lucky to have you,

back at the Ximo River,

I would’ve dressed up

and looked better

with my Footwork.

There was just a Weed Spirit.

Why would you dress up?

To seduce other girls.

I’ve proposed six times

but only got rejected

by your parents with all sorts of excuses.

I’m tough enough

to bite through steel now.

What a world!

Fei,

stop bullying me,

or

I’ll write a play about the South Blade,

telling the world

that you’re a bully.

I dare you!

Fei,

how about this?

Let’s swing by Liu’s Manor for the event

and then head to Jiankang.

Once the winter is over,

let’s go to the grassland to see sheep.

Do you have anything else to do

other than having fun?

We can buy lambs

and roast them. Money isn’t a problem.

The skin will taste crispy and meat tender.

No need to add other spices.

A little bit of salt is enough.

I’ll write to my mother

and let her know.

Sure.
