Honey, Honey!

Are you crazy? Why did you meet with my husband? Why drink together?

You didn't tell him everything, did you?

Are you okay? Don't you feel sorry every time you see him?

You did that to your husband's sister.

You're in it, too. You helped those con artists, right?

You came after me to steal my money!

I won't leave you alone! I won't leave you.

Mother, what are you doing?

Please calm down, Ma'am. You'll faint. Please calm down.

Fraud?

She invested seven billion won without telling Kang Wook.

But she got scammed before she even started it.

Seven billion won? My god. Her guts are huge.

She sits down, lies down, and cries. She completely lost her mind.

I felt a little bad for her.

That's all because she's been so mean.

Even if she did it, it would have failed. I can see that clearly.

Can't you help her a little? That's the only way you can trump her.

Help her?

It has to be all loans. And people will start asking for money soon.

Wouldn't they need to sell J shares to pay back everything?

Then, it's only a matter of time before Yoon Jae becomes president.

Oh, is that how it works?

I was worried because I sold my shares for In Seok's run for congress.

But it looks like Yoon Jae will definitely become the president this time.

That's right.

Anyways, I should look into the shared ownership between them and us.

The re-election is near, but because of In Seok's candidacy review, I forgot.

Oh, did they make the announcement yet?

What time is it? Aren't they announcing the candidates today?

Where is my head! You stopped me in the middle of bowing!

Didn't we get any calls?

[Choi In Seok]

Thank you, everyone. Thank you.

Sae Han Dang candidate number 15, Choi In Seok.

Please do your best.

- Let's work hard for Congress! - Thank you, Representative.

I'll put everything into it. I'll promise to get trust and support from people.

And I'll definitely win the votes.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

Oh, Chief Justice. Thank you for your call.

Judge Choi, congratulations. Wait, are you Congressman Choi now?

I'm only starting. I'll help other party members so many of us can be elected.

Of course, of course. The political world wouldn't leave a talent like that alone.

No, he just received a nomination for the candidacy.

What a cause for celebration! Yes, I'll treat you to dinner next time.

Oh sure. Okay.

Hello? The wife of Chief Justice?

My god, what an honor to be called.

Thank you.

Yes. He's the Sae Han Party candidate number 15.

I haven't done much at all.

The only thing I could do for him was to pray for him day and night.

I'm embarrassed and grateful to hear that from you.

Yes, I'll see you at the next meeting. Yes.

- Auntie, what happened? - Something good. To Grandpa.

- Grandpa! - Oh, come here.

You've worked hard.

Dad, congratulations. You've been through a lot.

I still have a long way to go. It's only the beginning.

Somehow, people found out and the phone's been ringing nonstop.

Such ruckus even before becoming a congressman.

If you actually have a gold pin on, you'll fly away.

Chief Justice gave me a call.

He looked the other way when I begged him before my resignation.

- How scary. - That's the power of authority.

Do you now understand why I tried so hard to make you a congressman?

Yes, you've worked hard, Mother. Thank you.

Yeon Hwa, why don't you wait for me at the entrance? I'll be right down.

I'm calling about the fraud you reported.

Yes, how did it go?

The foreigner's ID was fake, so I can't check anything.

And the wine distribution company you reported is untraceable.

So, it's a ghost company?

Kang Wook, take your time...

Yeon Hwa!

You look like you'd be sitting quietly and doing embroidery.

How dare you touch the black box?

Did Choi In Seok order you to do it?

- Did Min Sang Chul order you? - This bitch!

If he got caught for corruption, he should apologize and repent.

- What's with this dirty act? - Shut up!

I'm the one who took out the black box and reported it.

Aren't you curious about what I would do with this one?

Min Sang Chul is not even afraid about how I'd use this to destroy him?

Why can't you figure out what's going on, Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa?

- You poked the wrong one. - You poked the wrong one.

Considering that there are no highs or lows in working...

Aren't you ashamed to serve someone dirty like him as your boss?

Why pledge your loyalty to someone so cowardly?

Why are you wasting your youth on this?

Shut up and just answer the question.

Shut up and just answer the question.

Choi In Seok told you to do this, right? Just admit it.

Am I an idiot?

Yeon Hwa!

Let her go right now! Let her go!

- Get up! Get up! - Let go, let go!

Yoon Jae!

Get up.

Get up.

- Yeon Hwa! - Get up!

Yeon Hwa!

- Run! - This is the police!

Are you okay? Who are they?

How did this happen to you?

I hope you don't get into a dangerous situation again.

When I was in prison, I was beaten, kicked and strangled.

I was stabbed by scissors and had death threats every day.

My hair was pulled, I was hit by stones, and my head was pushed to the wall.

A dangerous situation? Every day is a war to me.

This is my life, so what would I do?

I'm sorry.

Go. Your wife is waiting.

I'm sorry, Yeon Hwa.

I'm really sorry.

It's too easy for you. Get away from me.

Don't ever meddle in my life. Don't bother!

You wanted to live like strangers.

Live like you have been.

You've been enduring it by yourself like this?

Is that why something like this is not a big deal?

Is this how tough you are?

- Yeon Hwa! - Sister!

What on earth happened to you?

It's nothing to worry about. I just got hurt a bit.

How? Did you get beaten? Someone hit you?

What kind of bastards made you like this?

Yeon Hwa, I'll put some ointment on you.

I'll blow on the wound. You must hurt a lot.

What happened, seriously?

[Mr. Zorba]

It's Kang Wook. Why is he calling me?

I lost my cellphone.

Hi, Kang Wook. About the cellphone. Yeon Hwa lost it. She's home now.

You're coming here?

He'll be worried. What do I do?

Found it. Yeon Hwa, I'll put the ointment on you.

Well, Yeon Hwa must be tired today. She just went to bed.

If it's not urgent... yes, would you do that? I'll tell her. Yes.

He couldn't reach your cellphone, so he was worried and about to come.

Have a good rest and see you tomorrow.

No, Kang Wook has already a lot on his mind with his mother's issues.

I feel bad that I'm adding to it.

If Kang Wook saw you right now, he'd be really upset.

What on earth really happened? How did you lose your cellphone?

So, Min Sang Chul had someone take you and threaten you?

He found out that I was the informant.

How on earth?

He really investigated this.

What if they bother you again?

Soo Ae, don't worry. I'll be careful.

Then how did you get out? Did you confess?

No, Yoon Jae saw me getting dragged out in front of the company building.

- I was able to get out with his help. - Mr. Ha Yoon Jae?

Yoon Jae?

Ms. Ahn, it's me. Find every detail about what happened to Yoon Jae today.

Honey, what happened to your face? What happened? Where did you get hurt?

It's fine.

Honey.

Guys don't put on ointment with this kind of wound. It's fine.

What happened? Tell me at least how it happened.

- It was just a minor scuffle. - With whom? How?

I want to rest.

I couldn't reach you all afternoon, so I was worried.

Dad made it as the candidate.

He made it.

The only thing left is to become a congressman.

Congressman?

Congressman.

In Seok, come quickly. Joon Hyuk, let's have breakfast.

Sit here.

Mother, why did you make so much?

It's a fight from now on. It's about physical strength and endurance.

Joon Hyuk is leaving to England soon, so I'll make lots of delicious things.

After you eat my food, don't forget this taste.

- I won't, thank you for the food. - Sure.

Oh my god. Who is it so early in the morning?

Who is this?

- It's President Park Jung Hyun. - What?

Tell him I'm not here, I'm not here! Don't open the door!

I opened it.

What?

- President, why so suddenly? - Lady Jang!

I didn't think you were kind, but are promises some sort of joke?

I haven't received my interest for a few days!

- Mother, did you use a private loan? - Private loan? Watch what you say.

I have a bit of a problem with my business.

It's only been a few days. The police is investigating now.

- The con artists will get caught soon. - That's your problem.

If you have no other way, turn it over. Or find a way to pay back.

She has a sudden problem. How is this behavior different from a loan shark?

Wearing a suit makes it better? So low class.

How can you come here and threaten her?

Mother, report these people.

Report them for breaking in and blackmailing!

What are you doing? Just stay quiet.

If you lower yourself, they'll step on you. You have to act strong!

You talk too much.

Ma'am, what's the use of having a son as CEO of a cosmetics company?

- Should I go get it myself? - You can't!

Not Kang Wook. Please don't bother him.

I'll take care of everything, so please don't bother my son.

Then you should pay on time. Why do I have to come here so early? Why?

She said she'd take care of it. We'll wire the money today, so leave right now!

Just stay quiet!

You promised. If I don't get the interest by tonight, I won't be nice.

- I've warned you! - I understand.

Leave now. Get out of this house now!

What jerks! How can they come here and throw a fit?

I'm so angry. I'll bring water for you.

Seriously!

It won't be enough to beg him, but she just had to make it worse!

What do I do now?

I'm about to die, Chairwoman.

I need to pay back the business fund right away, but there is no cash.

Kang Wook told me not to do it, but I didn't listen and now I can't ask him.

- I can't describe how I feel. - Well, Lady Jang.

Don't be disappointed when I tell you this.

I never deal with money privately.

I'm really in a hurry, so could you at least take care of the interest?

I'm sorry.

Chairwoman, it's not like I can't pay you back.

Is it because you can't trust me?

I've lived for 20 years as the First Lady of J Cosmetics.

- I don't have enough cash for interest. - You don't even have enough cash?

I've already spent money on what I need to.

And the interest alone is tens of millions of won.

Can you even get your son married?

- Pardon? - With that serious loan.

You don't even have cash to pay interest.

I'm worried to send my Yeon Hwa to that kind of family.

Should someone whom I consider as my daughter worry about that?

I have to rethink Yeon Hwa's marriage.

Chairwoman, I've considered you as my friend and family member.

You're really too much. How can you be so cold?

Let's pretend that I never came here today.

I'd hate to be the mom who stops her son from getting married.

If I have to sell my organ or whatever, I'll pay back my loan.

I hope you don't think this matter is connected to the kids' marriage.

I've overstayed my welcome.

Let's talk for a bit.

I saw both of you in front of Yeon Hwa's place last night.

I need to hear it. What feelings do you have and what's your intention?

I need to know.

Yeon Hwa was kidnapped in front of the building yesterday.

What? By whom? Why?

I happened to see it, and it could have been dangerous.

Luckily, I was able to bring her out before things got worse.

Why didn't you call me? You should have called me before anyone else!

You want to argue about emotions when I saved a person?

I took her home! And I felt crazy when seeing her suffer alone, so I apologized.

Okay, thank you for saving Yeon Hwa from a dangerous situation.

But she's my fiance. It's your decision to apologize, but you went too far.

You shouldn't apologize like that.

I plan to help out Yeon Hwa from now on.

Don't go overboard.

- I'm there for Yeon Hwa! - Then why was she kidnapped?

Just because you happened to be there, don't act like superman.

Why are you raising your voice?

Since I haven't done anything until now, I will have to do better! I'll do it!

Hey, Ha Yoon Jae!

Yes, this is the security guard.

What were the guards on Seol Yeon Hwa doing yesterday? I specifically asked you!

She was kidnapped in front of the office! How could that happen?

What is this?

I heard Judge Choi became a candidate for the congress run.

I prepared this to congratulate him. It's not much, but I brought Korean beef.

Please have this and gain some strength for his campaign.

I see. We'll enjoy with it gratitude.

When In Seok comes back, I'll relay your message.

And, also, I came here to apologize.

I didn't feel good about the last time with my rude manners.

Did you? I felt bad too.

I'd like to apologize again. Please forgive me.

It's not just a couple of years. We've been family for six years.

I'll continue to embrace her and take care of her from now on, too.

Well, I want to talk to you about something.

Mother, what brings you here?

You were here?

Please continue with what you were about to say.

Did you have any favors to ask?

My pride! My pride doesn't matter.

Well, I am...

Right, did you take care of the thing earlier?

- What? - Just pay him back!

Why do you deal with those people when you have so much money?

You should pay them back right away and stand tall!

What jerks. Who do they think you are? Even my pride was hurt!

Pay back? You have a problem with money?

No, it's not a problem. Just a little bit.

Because of In Seok's big run these days, a lot has been spent.

I don't know what it's about, but I hope it gets resolved well.

Yes.

Director Seol went outside for the UV protection cream promotion.

- When is she coming back? - Well, she didn't look too good.

We told her we'd go, but she insisted, saying it's her responsibility.

[Julia]

Your mother was here. Something happened. Do you know about it?

I think she was definitely scammed.

We composed a montage of those bastards and sent it to the airport...

but no news yet.

She really caused a big accident. But why didn't she discuss this with you?

She did, but I was into my problems, so I wasn't there to help her.

A big part is my fault.

She wanted to be successful like you and show me.

Does everyone do business?

Anyways, it must be hard because of your mother.

How did she make such an immature decision?

I thought you recommended the wine business to her.

Did you connect those people to my mother, by any chance?

Connect? My job is to suggest business ideas.

Your mother seemed to have the drive to work and the ability to do it.

So all I did was to introduce her to a few businesses and gave some advice.

But I didn't know she'd make such hasty decision.

So, are you able to get money from somewhere?

I'm going to tell her to sell the stocks. There is no other way.

Well, I told your mother that I'd rethink your marriage with Yeon Hwa.

Pardon?

Wouldn't it put a big burden on the bride if you get married like this?

What do you think, Mr. Choi?

Let her go right now! Let her go!

- Get up! - Yoon Jae!

- Get up. Get up! - Yoon Jae!

I'm sorry, Yeon Hwa.

I'm really sorry.

Delivery! Delivery for Seol Yeon Hwa!

Who sent it?

Mr. Choi Kang Wook sent it.

Here.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

The porridge should be still warm. Eat it while it's warm.

I was born to worry about you, Yeon Hwa.

What happened to you, whether you're sick or sad...

don't hide them. Share them with me.

Get a good rest and please show me your face tomorrow. Good night.

Kang Wook!

Thank you. I'm sorry. Thank you for the food.

I won't get into a dangerous situation again.

I won't make you worry.

I'm sorry, Kang Wook.

I promised to protect you.

You must have been very scared.

It must have hurt.

I'm sorry I let you get hurt by yourself.

I'm committing a sin against you.

It'll be more painful for you.

You'll be hurt more. What should I do?

I really want to make you happy, but things keep happening.

But if I still want you, I'm a bad guy, right?

- When Yoon Hee got into the accident... - Yoon Hee?

Why did you take a cab? You must have driven your car to the off-site.

That day...

Park Chang Doo!

Why didn't you take my money when you're so greedy like this?

Where did you throw away the pride you had before? This is the real you.

I realize I'm also a greedy person. So you should help, too.

Your father has to be a congressman so that my dream can come true.
