A lot of great talents applied.

This is the best of them all.

Look. The judges unanimously decided to hire her as a full-time employee.

Ms. Kang Hyun Sook.

Ms. Kang Hyun Sook?

I'm here.

Why do you look so surprised, Choi Yoo Ra?

This is only the beginning.

How can you...

I'm reporting a corrupt policeman taking bribes from innocent citizens.

What should we do? What if she really woke up?

Who knows when she'll go see Yoon Jae?

I asked someone to check every rehab center in the country, just in case.

I'm nervous to death. How can this happen?

You think Yeon Hwa took her somewhere?

Then she would have called us.

We just have to wait for now.

That lady should never talk.

She knows about everything.

How are you?

Thank you for taking care of my mom and Soo Ae until now.

I transferred my Mom to rehab because she's showing progress.

She's moving a little and her voice is coming back, too.

You should have told us what happened.

Like a stray cat stealing a fish...

That was a surprise.

I rushed when I found an availability at a famous rehab.

I'm sorry about that.

You did well.

Since she shows progress, she should get professional treatment.

Where did you take her?

Why didn't you tell us?

Her stability is the most important thing.

There are no visitors allowed right now.

Then, I'll get going.

Don't forget that whoever grabs Chairwoman Julia will be the winner.

You have to catch her no matter what it takes.

- Did your mother arrive well? - Yes.

- President Kim Tae Il helped us. - What? My president?

Why? He's not trying to take your mother as hostage, is he?

President Choi Kang Wook asked me to trust him.

He said I should try.

Sure... the world is not just filled with scums like Choi Yoo Ra.

Right, what happened to Park Chang Doo?

He was released for lack of evidence. As expected.

I'm so angry! Are you just going to watch this?

I can never do that.

I'm sure Chief Judge Choi In Seok took care of it.

I'm going to write anonymous letters to Legal Ethics Committee, People's Voice...

Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Cyber Prosecutors' Office or anything.

Anonymous letter?

I'll write that Chief Judge Choi In Seok helped a corrupt police get out...

And ask for the evidence.

Right, if that happens, things might get big and the whole country might find out.

Okay, good thinking! Do your best until the end!

Chief Judge Choi In Seok will regret it to the core.

The honor he so wanted to protect will completely fall apart.

What is it?

Color makeup is showing poor sales.

I'd like our PR team to sponsor a color makeup demonstration.

You took a video of me secretly and reported me?

I traced the IP address.

I confirmed that it was from the PR director of J, Choi Yoo Ra's computer.

You tricked me like that?

Leave it there.

Please review it in a positive light.

I came up with a proposal.

Sales of color makeup we released early this year are lower than expected.

I'd like our PR team to have a color makeup demonstration...

And monitor to raise their interest.

[Proposal From Choi Yoo Ra]

Did you come up with this yourself?

Please review it in a positive light.

Sure, I got it. You can leave.

Give me a few minutes.

Yoon Hee, here is the picture of Mom you wanted.

I thought Father got rid of all of them, but here is one.

How is it over there?

I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

I miss you, Yoon Hee.

I heard Chairwoman Julia's in Korea.

Did you know?

Yes, I know.

I'm already reviewing some business plans for that.

I sent a gift to Chairwoman Julia.

I think it'll be to her taste.

I think that'll help us.

I heard Chairwoman Julia's in Korea.

Did you know?

Yes, I know.

I'm already reviewing some business plans for that.

I sent a gift to Chairwoman Julia.

I think it'll be to her taste.

I think that'll help us.

[J Cosmetics PR Director Choi Yoo Ra]

It's the same one that you have.

She must have researched the brand you like.

- Just send it back to her. - Yes, Ma'am.

Chairwoman.

How does it feel to be back in the motherland after 20 years?

Did it change too much?

But there are things that are still the same.

I made them myself with spring mugwort.

I made them after seeing you return to the hotel with meals untouched.

There is something that hasn't changed.

Pardon?

I remember this taste.

Who sent this?

It's from Seol Yeon Hwa in the PR team of J Cosmetics.

Seol... Yeon Hwa?

My name is Seol Yeon Hwa and I work in the PR team of J Cosmetics.

Please give me a chance to present our company to you.

You'll see me again.

What's all this? Did you make them yourself?

It's a plant with mugworts mixed in.

See how it smells.

Oh, this is the smell of spring. I've never had this.

That's why I brought them.

You lived abroad for a long time.

Well, should I try it?

My chairwoman will attend the makeup demo you're presenting.

What's going on? Is that good news?

Chairwoman Julia will attend our makeup demo.

Really? Wow, you're great, Seol Yeon Hwa.

How did you convince her to do that?

Make the best of this opportunity.

The company will provide full support for you.

By the way, why did you want to see me?

I received your proposal that turned into Choi Yoo Ra's.

- That's what I expected. - What do you want me to do?

If Chairwoman Julia is comes, shouldn't you take charge of the demo?

She's probably coming to see you.

That's fine. You can put Choi Yoo Ra in charge.

I have plans, too.

Try one.

Here comes a whip of salmon. Hurry.

How is it?

How can a whip can taste so good?

Excuse me.

Mr. Ha Yoon Jae.

What are you doing here? Other employees can see you.

I already told you. Just worry about yourself.

Choi Kang Wook is not the one.

Why not?

Because he's your brother? Is that why?

You already knew?

He's not in the family registry and does not share blood with you.

You don't even recognize him as your brother.

Your wife did the same to me.

She wouldn't accept me as family, but treated me worse than a stranger.

And she completely tore my life apart.

Tell me. Is Choi Kang Wook your brother?

There will be a color makeup demo by this team. Please get ready.

Didn't I submit that makeup demo proposal?

Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa, you don't know your current status?

I'm the boss of the PR team. I have all the authority.

Behave and don't go out of line.

I got it. I'll do that.

I sent a gift to Chairwoman Julia just like you said...

But it was returned.

Why did she send it back?

This limited edition was difficult to get.

Why are you laughing? How rude.

No, it's nothing.

Thank you again for helping my mom.

Do you trust me?

Enough to leave your mother and sister to me?

Yes, I trust you.

You have decency for other people and you have a warm heart.

Really... how can you trust me?

From your actions until this point.

You trusted me and watched over me...

So I was able to protect my family.

- How do you trust me? - Me? Trust you?

Without trust, you and I cannot have a conversation like this.

You saw through my sincerity, and I think it's my turn to return the favor.

Don't let your guard down.

It's funny that you trust me.

You still trust people?

Trust...

- Director, we're all ready. - Good job.

Hello, Nurse. What?

My mother is speaking? She's asking for me?

Well, can you tell me the address there?

I'll grab a cab and come over there now.

Yes... yes.

She's really calling me clearly?

She has something to tell me?

Yes, I'm coming right now. Yes.

I'll be out for a little after the preparation.

Are you out of your mind?

- How can you leave? - I have to go right now.

If you need anything, tell me. I'll have it ready.

Right, you said you needed bottled water. I'll get it.

Where did she go? We're about to start.

I don't know. She just disappeared.

I'll do it until the director comes back.

What? You will?

Chairwoman Julia, I need your unbeatable power.

Please give me a chance.

I want to be your person.

Hello, my name is Seol Yeon Hwa.

Director Choi Yoo Ra who was supposed to lead today...

But she is gone for personal reasons, so I'll be doing it.

Welcome, everyone!

First, let me introduce you to the model who will help me with the demo today.

Please come forward.

Tell me, Choi Yoo Ra.

You framed my Yeon Hwa as a murderer?

You conspired with your dad and turned my daughter into a murderer?

How dare you accuse my daughter of murder!

I heard it, definitely heard it.

Your dad and you bribed the police and turned Yeon Hwa into a murderer.

I definitely heard it!

How can you keep breathing after that?

I said I didn't do it!

Admit the truth that you killed Ha Yoon Hee!

- Go tell them! - Let go! Let me go!

Mom!

Give me the bag! Where is the CD?

Murderer!

Either I get punished by heaven or you give me the CD.

We'll decide here!

Give me the bag and hold my hand.

My mom's speaking?

Can you tell me the address?

She has something to tell me?

Can I ask the reason why you requested for makeup today?

I still have ten kilograms of extra weight I gained after having a baby.

Maybe because of that, I have post-postpartum depression.

I just don't have much confidence.

I don't feel like my husband looks at me like a woman.

I want to become pretty, but I don't know how to.

Thank you.

Why do you put on makeup?

We put on makeup to become prettier and to cover blemishes.

Makeup goes beyond beauty. It's a way of self-expression.

Is that all?

While you put on makeup, you have a conversation with yourself in the mirror.

To live proudly and confidently, makeup can add vibrancy to your face...

And treat the wounded heart.

I think that's what makeup is about.

My guest here did the amazing work of giving birth and becoming a mom.

But she lost her confidence as a woman.

So for her, I'd like to present to you "healing makeup" today.

It's not the kind of makeup to cover and hide something.

I believe true makeup helps you to love your precious self...

And even heal the wounded heart.

I think that's the true meaning of makeup.

For a makeup to feel moist, gorgeous and look like a watercolor painting...

Start with good basic makeup, then follow with subtle color makeup.

Try trusting him like I do.

Then the scared feeling will just disappear.

Welcome.

Aren't you scared of me?

I'm not scared. You helped my mom.

Yeon Hwa told me to try trusting you.

Dentists must love you.

What about your mother?

She went to get tested.

I can find her in the general exam room, right?

Mister!

It's tasty! The candy...

It's a gift.

Thank you.

We don't have a patient named Han Kyung Sook.

Everyone here is a long-term patient...

And we haven't had anyone new in the past three months.

Seol Yeon Hwa... you toyed with me?

What do you think?

Of course, the best makeup is not J Cosmetics products, but her smile.

What do you think?

Isn't the model really beautiful?

I believe makeup is for yourself, not others.

You're happy just with a lipstick.

We're all beautiful women if we smile, even without makeup.

Are you Chairwoman Julia?

Excuse me.

Dad, you still haven't found where she is, right?

Yeon Hwa tricked me by telling me a wrong place on purpose.

I just went to a rehab center because Yeon Hwa tricked me.

She hid her somewhere and now she's making fun of me.

I'm so mad!

I thought Director Choi was leading the makeup demo, so what happened?

I guess she had some emergency.

She disappeared without a word.

It was an important event that our team was sponsoring, so I couldn't let it sink.

Anyways, it ended well because you handled it without getting flustered.

What's there to be flustered about?

I was the one who originally proposed the demo.

Isn't it obvious that I would do better than Director Choi...

Who didn't change a word in the proposal and put her name on it?

You made the proposal?

I heard why you went to the police.

It's late, but I'll apologize for her.

What did your wife tell you?

If you need money, just tell me anytime. I'll help you.

There won't be another time.

You should keep your promise to your wife, too.

Don't worry about me. You two should just live happily.

You two will be crying blood soon.

You didn't even pick up the phone.

Where have you been? You're showing up now?

The battery was out.

Don't you know how important the event was?

Chairwoman Julia was here.

Without Yeon Hwa, we would have been in big trouble.

What do you mean?

Yeon Hwa did the demo.

Yeon Hwa did the demo in front of Chairwoman Julia?

- Why Seol Yeon Hwa of all people? - You're asking that question now?

Director, we could've been in big trouble today.

You did something big today instead of me.

- It was just part of my job. - Really?

Did some urgent matter come up?

Still, the PR team's honor was on the line.

How could you leave the event like that?

Do you know how worried we all were today?

Seriously, if it wasn't for Seol Yeon Hwa...

We would've embarrassed ourselves.

Chairwoman Julia even came.

I was so nervous that Yeon Hwa would make a mistake, but she did really well.

I don't know what was so urgent that you ran out...

But please keep your poise from now on.

What could we learn from you?

Did you call Chairwoman Julia?

Yes, I invited her.

Is there any problem with that?

Yes, this is Seol Yeon Hwa.

Pardon? Chairwoman does?

I got it, thank you.

I'll see you soon. Thank you.

I was very impressed with your makeup demo.

Healing makeup that treats the wound of the heart...

I was completely immersed.

Thank you for expanding my vision on cosmetics.

Thank you.

Then, what's the healing makeup that would suit me?

Why don't you make a recommendation as a representative of J Cosmetics?

No!

Who are you?

I'm sorry to interrupt.

I'm Choi Yoo Ra, PR Director of J Cosmetics.

I felt that I had to tell you something even at the risk of being rude.

Choi Yoo Ra... weren't you supposed to do the makeup demo?

Yes, I was.

I hate people who are irresponsible, rude and those who can't keep their promises.

Please leave. I'm in a meeting with Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa.

The woman sitting in front of you is a criminal.

She's not qualified to represent our company and sit in front of you.

She killed someone.

More than that, she killed the sister of someone she loved.

She even tried to escape from prison.

What did you say?

No, that's not true. I was framed.

I didn't kill anyone. Please listen to my story.

That's enough!

That's enough. Leave now.

- Chairwoman. - Didn't you hear me?

Ms. Ahn, take her out right now.

Let's go. You have to leave now.

- Chairwoman! - Leave now! Right now!

Chairwoman!

Subtitles by DramaFever

How can someone so shameless like you put makeup on others...

And talk about healing makeup that treats the heart?

Chairwoman, what's wrong? Chairwoman!

- Help me. - Inhale, exhale...

Did you do that?

Don't ask me, just ask your conscience.

Give me the car key, please.

I have something to give her.

I'll give you double. Make it fast, please.
