Thank you for everything.

I thought you needed money.

Can I ask why?

I desperately needed money.

But not anymore?

I wanted to become a proud and confident person for someone.

But that reason disappeared. It's meaningless now.

Now I'll go forward with no consideration for other things.

That's what I have to do.

Just go forward...

Is that something you can't do here?

No.

I'm not running away.

Just watch me like you have been doing.

I'll keep my promise no matter what happens.

I'll reveal the real criminal who killed Ms. Ha Yoon Hee.

I'll definitely keep my promise. Thank you for everything.

Yeah. I heard you went to the police with Seol Yeon Hwa.

I just found out. Did Seol Yeon Hwa really try to kill you? Why?

Seol Yeon Hwa is suspicious of me.

She thinks I took Tae Yang.

You should have been careful!

You must have done something to get caught.

She's not in her right mind so you should be careful, too!

Be careful? About what?

What should I be careful about?

As long as Seol Yeon Hwa's son is in my hands...

Careful? That's not it!

I'm safe.

How is Joon Hyuk doing?

He's doing really well.

I hired an English tutor for him.

He's coming along pretty well.

Don't call me for a while. I'll call you.

Your living expense will be under someone else's name, too.

A lot of really talented people applied.

And this proposal is the best of all.

Take a look.

The judges unanimously agreed to hire her as a full-time employee.

You'll attend the award ceremony too, right?

[Marketing Idea Competition Award Ceremony]

Next up is the grand prize.

Ms. Kang Hyun Sook. Ms. Kang Hyun Sook?

Ms. Kang Hyun Sook is not here yet.

I'm here.

Why do you look so surprised, Choi Yoo Ra?

This is the beginning.

How can you...

I'm Kang Hyun Sook.

You broke the rules. You can't do this.

There was nothing prohibiting the use of a fake name.

Do you have any proof that you did it?

Then should I present the material without looking at anything?

There was no rule about using a fake name.

And we announced that we'll select the best idea...

Regardless of education or experience.

If she's the one who submitted it, there is no problem receiving the award.

We'll hand out the grand prize.

Grand prize, Kang Hyun Sook.

Real name, Seol Yeon Hwa.

Your marketing idea was selected as the best one...

So we'd like to award you with a certificate and 30 million won.

Congratulations! Please tell us how you feel receiving the grand prize.

At my first job after prison, I learned about marketing in telecommunication.

I'd like to thank them for the opportunity.

J Cosmetics was my first employer five years ago...

And it was also my first meeting with harsh reality.

My life ended at 24 while I was here.

I earned an unimaginable title and was let go dishonorably.

So I couldn't imagine coming back without using a fake name.

I will return the dishonorable title back to its original owner.

And fight until the end with the person who mercilessly crushed me.

Now I will work harder for my dream at J that I couldn't achieve before.

I'm very happy to have the opportunity. Thank you.

What will you do? I cannot accept Seol Yeon Hwa into our company.

Don't get upset. She's officially in after winning the competition.

After announcing it to reporters... how can you kick her out?

We have plenty of excuses. It's not just once or twice she tainted the company.

Regardless of the competition results can change...

If it's about espionage... you have nothing to say about it.

Can't you stop bringing it up? I've regretted enough.

Honey, she even came to our house because of a few words I said.

She even tried to kill me.

You promised that you and Yeon Hwa would live like strangers.

Kang Wook's relationship with Seol Yeon Hwa is suspicious.

She'll probably also scrutinize everything you try to do.

It's obvious she came here to do that.

We cannot let Seol Yeon Hwa work at this company.

I was shocked! Why didn't you tell me before?

I wanted to do this on my own without your help.

This is the beginning.

I'll make Choi Yoo Ra soon leave J, no...

Make her lose everything she has.

Just like me five years ago, I'll make her lose everything.

I'm concerned about you.

I'm afraid you might hurt yourself or change too much.

- I'll be leaving, Sir. - Wait.

This is Chairwoman Julia. Have you heard about her?

Is she Korean?

She's the hidden power with influence over international corporations.

She's only known to be Korean-American.

Other than that, her details are veiled in secrecy.

Why don't you try grabbing her?

It won't be easy, but if you can gain her trust, she'll greatly help.

What's your intention? What's your ulterior motive?

Why are you so clingy?

I heard you praised my idea proposal. Thank you.

Calling me after kicking me out...

Isn't life really interesting?

You're going to work here with me? Wake up!

That will never happen.

I wasn't expecting a warm welcome... but there is no need to panic.

Why? Is it uncomfortable looking at me?

Does it get to your conscience?

If that's the case, that's great.

Then I'm glad that I came back to J.

Where is my desk?

Hello. I'm the new employee, Seol Yeon Hwa. I start tomorrow.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Then, I'll see you tomorrow.

Thanks for lending me money last time.

It's fine. Take it away.

I haven't said hello to Director Ha Yoon Jae.

I'll go see him before I leave. Bye.

Hello. I'm Seol Yeon Hwa and I'll be with public relations tomorrow.

If you need a job, I'll look for another place. If you want anything, tell me.

I already got a job, and what I want?

I already said it earlier.

I'll make her pay for crushing me.

What are you going to do here?

Don't you know it'll hurt to live with vengeance everyday?

Are you worried about me?

Why would you be worried about me?

Director Ha Yoon Jae... worry about yourself.

What the heck are you two doing?

Then I'll get going now.

Director, I'll start tomorrow and work hard until my bones become powder.

What did you do? What did you two do?

We're going back to 20 years ago. Where are you?

- It looks like... some makeup room. - What do you see?

There are two women.

A woman is putting makeup on the other woman.

Which one are you?

Well...

Neither of them is me.

Help me, help me!

She's locked in a car.

It's dangerous.

I'm scared. No!

- Goodbye. - I can't die like this!

- No! - Who is that person?

Help me, help me, help me!

My head hurts.

You're blocking your own memory from recalling.

- It's too difficult and painful. - It's a very difficult process.

But you did a good job.

Don't rush it and let's keep an eye on it.

She's the hidden power with influence over international corporations.

Why don't you try to grab her?

It won't be easy, but if you can gain her trust, she'll greatly help.

Chairwoman Julia, I need your unbeatable power.

Please give me a chance.

I want to be on your team.

Yeon Hwa!

Yeah?

How did the award ceremony go?

I should have given you flowers.

I should have seen Choi Yoo Ra's scared face. I missed it!

It went well. I also got a desk in the public relations team.

Public relations team?

Then you'll go head-to-head with Choi Yoo Ra.

Yeah, I'm starting tomorrow.

Right, I think we can catch Park Chang Doo in action tonight.

I heard at the Chinese restaurant earlier.

They're supposed to pay him tonight.

They hate Park Chang Doo so much.

I just pitched in a little, and they told me everything.

I see. Just tell me the time.

This time, I'll take care of it.

Metal cases these days have nice designs.

Looks like you're still hungry so I'll order another dish.

You're good! I wouldn't be able to recognize you if I saw you outside.

How did it go? Did you get it? You weren't caught?

He was too busy being happy with the money he got.

It didn't look like he was new to this.

They were so natural with giving and receiving, and it made me mad.

Let's check it.

Metal cases these days have nice designs.

The angle and clarity are awesome.

Now just leave it to me.

I'll upload it on every police related home page.

No, Young Soon. Leave it to me. I have plans.

Hello, good morning.

Hello, Director.

- Ms. Kim, teach her the basics. - Yes.

You can scrap things related to product development or our public relations.

All of these?

Here are scissors and glue. Finish it today.

Sure.

Let's go have lunch. It's my treat today.

- Really? - Let's eat something delicious.

Aren't you going, Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa?

I won't be able to finish even if I stay up all night. Have a good lunch.

Choi Yoo Ra's birth date?

What is it? Password...

- What should we eat? - Let's go eat shabu shabu.

Should we?

Go ahead first.

Wedding date.

I'm reporting a shameful policeman who takes bribes from people.

What is it, Director?

You applied for the competition with a fake name?

I agree. The quality of work at J Cosmetics' public relations is shameful.

Could you improve the work quality so I won't be distracted?

How could I trust you with important public relations work?

You became Director with a parachute...

And you can't trust me who won against 500 applicants. Isn't it nonsense?

Do as you please.

This is pretty thrilling and fun.

Choi Yoo Ra, get ready. There will be a lot happening.

This is only the beginning.

- Who uploaded this? - What a shame.

What's interesting? A crazy woman from the subway? Let me see.

- You should have taken it easy. - Take what easy?

Accidents that happen these days... what is this?

Wait, I've seen this face a lot before.

Metal cases these days have nice designs.

Who the hell did this? Who is it? Who did this?

Who's setting me up?

Lieutenant Park Chang Doo. You know me, right?

We need to go together.

Where would we go together?

This is not me!

How can you do this to a policeman who is working hard every day?

This is slander and a set up. It's fabricated!

Plus, the owner of that Chinese restaurant is my cousin.

It's not a club or a gambling house...

So why would I need to take care of a Chinese restaurant?

I'm still single, so he took pity on me.

He just gave it to me.

Stop bluffing.

What kind of cousin gives bundles of money in a metal delivery case?

I don't want to do this to a colleague...

But clear evidence is uploaded on the homepage and a citizen reported.

I'm going crazy.

As you know, taking bribe is one of three corruptions against duty.

All right, I'll accept my fault.

But, I only did it once. I swear to God.

So how did this person know about that one time and film it?

Isn't that strange?

Let me ask you one thing. Can you find who filmed and uploaded it?

This is clearly a challenge and slander against public authority.

Who did it? What kind of citizen reported me?

No matter how nice it is to eat outside... it doesn't compare eating at home.

In Seok, come home for lunch once in a while. Isn't it nice?

Sure, I'll try to do that.

By the way, it doesn't look good that Yeon Hwa went back to J.

Do you think she's back there to harm Yoo Ra?

Yoo Ra said she apologized officially about the espionage incident.

Hold on.

Oh, I'm on my way back. What's going on?

Some police named Park Chang Doo is being investigated for bribery.

And he keeps calling you to meet with you. What should I do?

Got it.

Why, did something happen?

No, Mother. It's nothing. I should get back to work.

What the heck did you do? Taking bribery...

Don't expect help getting out.

Are you really going to do this to me?

I'm feeling the end of the rope of my patience.

- What's that? - Do you know who put me here?

Is it Yeon Hwa?

If it was Seol Yeon Hwa I wouldn't go crazy like this.

It was written from Choi Yoo Ra's computer at J Cosmetics.

- You didn't know? - What are you saying? That can't be!

- Why would Yoo Ra... - Something impossible happened.

Chief Judge, you know how much I've done for your daughter.

Your behavior like this goes against business ethics.

You should not act like this.

There must be a mistake.

I'll check again and contact you.

Don't call me before that.

What would other people think of me?

Did you know Seol Yeon Hwa gave birth to a son in prison?

Seol Tae Yang... son of Seol Yeon Hwa and Ha Yoon Jae.

He was sent to an orphanage when he turned 18 months.

- But Choi Yoo Ra snatched him away. - What did you just say?

Chief Judge's daughter snatched away Seol Yeon Hwa's son.

Where is that child now?

He's dead. Actually, Choi Yoo Ra pretty much killed him.

- What are you saying now? - Please keep it quiet.

What if someone hears us?

Tell me straight.

Choi Yoo Ra took him out and sent him to England with his adoptive parents.

But they're considered dead there.

When Seol Yeon Hwa finds her son... Choi Yoo Ra will lose her husband.

Did you know Seol Yeon Hwa went to Choi Yoo Ra and strangled her?

If the story about Seol Tae Yang gets out...

What would happen to Chief Judge's daughter?

Hello, Dad.

Come home as soon as you're done.

Okay.

Yoo Ra is here.

Let's go see Mom first.

Should I tell Yoo Ra? That I saw her at Chamsarang Orphanage?

I saw her for sure.

I know, what you saw was correct.

I'm sure Yoo Ra went there.

She took Tae Yang and sent him to other parents.

But you're the mom. Why did she do that?

Then, is it because of Yoo Ra that Tae Yang went to the heaven?

You conspired with your dad and framed my daughter? How dare you!

No, I didn't. Don't spout nonsense!

Mom!

You framed Yeon Hwa for Yoo Ra's crime?

You turned my Yeon Hwa into a murderer?

Yeon Hwa, it's my fault. Yeon Hwa, I'm sorry.

- Honey! - Mom!

Mom!

Yeon Hwa.

Mom grabbed your hand, right?

Mom, you can hear everything, right?

You did it because it hurt you, right?

Mom, tell me. I'm listening!

Tell me, Mom!

- Yeon Hwa, Soo Ae. - Mom!

Mom!

You!

Subtitles by DramaFever

- Choi Yoo Ra! - You're really bad!

Choi Yoo Ra!

No, no! No!

What vengeance are you expecting?

Even just the last time...

You've sinned against an innocent family.

My mom is talking?

Can you give me the address there?

I'll grab a cab and be right there.
