The defendant Seol Yeon Hwa is sentenced to three years in prison.

Witnesses lied and evidence was fabricated. Who is this trial for?

Do you really think my daughter did it? Tell me!

I couldn't stop lying. I couldn't stop the devil inside me.

What crime did I commit? Saving a person is a crime?

Blemish balm?

There is this blemish balm used after skincare sessions.

The latest trend is bare face, so I...

You bitch! You and me both don't want to exist in this world.

- Then at least take this to her, please. - Please take this to her.

Soo Ae wrote down exactly what she saw.

It's from the call record of Yoo Ra's cellphone.

Park Chang Doo... he's the detective on the case, right?

Choi Yoo Ra...

Did you hear if she said Ms. Ha Yoon Hee might have been in a hit-and-run?

No, I didn't hear it.

The defendant Seol Yeon Hwa is sentenced to three years in prison.

- Detective Park Chang Doo. - Because we found evidence.

You mean, the recording of the victim's call?

After an inspection of Seol Yeon Hwa's car, we found the victim's earring in the hood.

You made me a murderer.

I can't trust the law or the police anymore.

I'll push them off the cliff myself.

Get the heaven's punishment.

Ms. Choi Yoo Ra.

I'd like to see the president.

Get out. Get out now!

I was in the area. I got curious how he's doing.

Why are you doing this?

- What did I do? - Let's meet outside. I'll call you.

Please leave now.

See you in the evening.

Here is the mail for the president.

Oh, thank you.

[From Seol Yeon Hwa To Choi Yoo Ra]

Choi Yoo Ra, how are you doing? How is your work?

You're probably reading this in the president's assistant office.

After you eat the breakfast my Mom prepares in the morning, went to work

and work as the assistant to the president. You must feel the preciousness of daily life.

If it wasn't for me, you'd be in this prison.

Because you killed Ms. Ha.

Just because you sent me to prison, don't think you fooled the world, Choi Yoo Ra.

Your crime and your dirty truth still remain as they are.

Which one should I start with? Who should I tell first?

- President Ha Yoon Jae? - Crazy!

Let's test the A-type after modification.

I'll schedule the production line, so discuss marketing plans with the marketing team.

Yes.

It cannot be exposed until the finished product comes out.

Yes, we're keeping it secure, more than the 007 plans.

Let's also think about the product name.

Are we here to meet Yoon Jae? Exciting! I like Yoon Jae.

Mom, it's great here. A lot of TV's too. Look over there.

May I help you?

- I'm here to see President Ha Yoon Jae. - I came to meet Yoon Jae.

I didn't get any notice. He's not someone you can just meet.

I have to see him. I have something for him.

Why are you trying to see President Ha Yoon Jae?

Well... My daughter wanted me to give this to him.

[Seol Yeon Hwa]

- Your daughter is Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa? - Yes, it's my sister, my sister!

[Blemish Balm (BB Cream) ]

Well, that's my daughter's idea notebook, so...

- I'm sorry, please this way. - Thank you.

Good work.

Thanks to you, we saved a lot of time coming up with a product. Thanks!

- Do you want to name the product too? - Me?

Since you're the product developer, it could be meaningful.

- We'll consider yours first. - I'll think about it. See you later!

Work hard!

- It's Yoo Ra. - What brings you here?

If you don't have an appointment with the president, you can't meet him.

- It'll take a minute. - What is it for?

Yoon Jae!

She must have read the newspaper there. She asked me to give it to you to help.

It's the makeup idea notebook she wrote in college. The whole notebook is full of ideas.

You probably know how much Yeon Hwa wanted to work at this company,

And how passionate she is about cosmetics.

Although she's there now because of the false charge

It looks like the person who framed her will be revealed soon.

If she had any sly side in her, she wouldn't have been taken in that much.

She sticks to the principle like a fool and believes everything, so she ended up there.

I heard from Soo Ae. Thank you for being kind and taking care Yeon Hwa and Soo Ae.

You haven't toyed with Yeon Hwa's ideas, by any chance?

I made a copy of every single page.

If you copied any of Yeon Hwa's ideas and put your name on it, I won't sit idly by.

Get home safe. Bye, Soo Ae.

Don't relax just because Yeon Hwa is in prison.

The truth will be revealed, whether it's tomorrow or the day after.

- I don't know what you're talking about. - You know what I'm talking about.

Work hard.

Mom, Yoo Ra said she parked her car off-site since she ran out of gas the day of the accident.

If Yoo Ra caused the accident, she must have taken the car to a repair shop nearby.

To ger rid of the evidence.

There should be a record of it at a nearby repair shop.

Hey, seriously, am I this fat? This is just a pig.

Kid, it's too much exaggeration.

- It looks pretty similar. - I agree.

How is it similar? It's at least twice my size.

What's up with this hair-style? Why the afro?

That kid must have forgotten his sister because it's been so long since he saw me.

I have good news.

745, your parole is confirmed.

Is it true? Really?

I'm leaving. I'm leaving!

I'm leaving! Thank you, thank you!

Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, Mencius, what else? Allah! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Congratulations! I'm so jealous.

Congratulations.

1010, can you see a visitor?

What? After seeing my face, do you feel sorry all of a sudden?

Scars on the face are no big deal. It's nothing.

The letter... If you send it like that, does it make you feel better?

My god, would that make you feel better?

- Then what the heck are you trying to do? - You ran over here. To see me.

Nervous?

Thinking I'd tell Yoon Jae everything. Were you nervous?

- I came to warn you not to talk nonsense. - Try your warning.

Let me hear it.

Because I testified against you at the trial, you feel unjustified and are taking it out on me.

Does anything change if you attack me?

Who'd believe you now if you make that claim? You'll just get hurt more.

Don't take it out on random people.

- You're really... pitiful. - What?

Although I'm in prison, I can sleep at night.

How nervous and anxious are you?

How sorry and afraid are you every time you see Yoon Jae?

Is that a life, getting through day by day?

- What are you talking about? - I live because I have hope.

What keeps you going? What keeps you from falling?

Do you keep going with Yoon Jae's compliments in the office?

- Or, with the allowance from Grandma? - What?

A human should abide by certain morals.

Is the world such a joke to you? Life is that funny to you?

Do you think it's okay if you lie and manipulate everything since the world revolves around you?

Stop talking nonsense, Seol Yeon Hwa!

Prison must be a scary place. When did it make you like this?

You wish I went crazy. No, I became much smarter and clear-headed.

Even if I wanted to go crazy, I can never go crazy.

Because I have to see you get punished with my own eyes.

You should try meditating. It'll be good for your mental health.

Meditating?

Because I might forgive you then?

The time you spend on writing so many letters to the president, you should spend on yourself!

They get thrown out without even being read. Isn't that pathetic?

How many sympathy points would you get with that much effort?

Even without your problem, the president is stressed with work. So don't add to it.

- He's about to collapse. - You could have just hated me.

Why did you have to make Yoon Jae like that? Why?

If you're that worried about the president, stay quiet. That's how you can help.

Choi Yoo Ra, do you know how many lives you've ruined? You!

Are you on your way here? Pardon?

I'm sorry. Lady Jo even asked me, so I was going to invest in J Cosmetics, but it's difficult.

- I have to go. - Hello, hello?

- Hello? - I'll have to cancel our technology alliance. Sorry.

Is it because of Lady Jo Myoung Rae?

My fists were shaking when you were getting beaten up by Crazy Wild Dog.

I wanted to just beat her up and knock her out

The guard told me about a possibility of parole and to stay quiet until I leave.

That's why I stayed quiet like a coward.

- You must have been disappointed... - I survived. Because you called the guard.

What do you want me to send you when I leave? Just tell me, I'll send you anything under W10,000.

Alright, I'm feeling generous. Under W20,000.

- I want to just make one call. - You want to call your boyfriend?

I'm so worried in the dark, I'm going crazy.

You haven't reached the points yet... Wish I could give you my points.

It looks like she didn't even give the letters I sent him.

All of them?

She's such a bitch!

I have to see her face!

President, I have your breakfast.

Father, do you trust Mother? I can't.

Father, do you trust that woman, Jang Min Ja? I can't.

Father, do you trust Yeon Hwa? I do.

I want to. I really want to believe her.

But I'm confused.

If my trust in Yeon Hwa is just to go against Jang Min Ja

it is disgracing Yoon Hee, who died before her time.

I feel like I'm going crazy, Father.

I have to choose.

I must protect the company.

Hurry, hurry please.

Yoon Jae.

How are you doing? Is your health okay? Are you doing well?

- Yoon Jae. - Why did you send me the notebook?

I saw the newspaper. You're going through tough times, so I wanted to do something.

There isn't much I can do from here, so I thought my collection of makeup ideas might help you.

Taking pity on me?

You made me, Yoon Hee, and the company like that, and now what? Help?

- Yoon Jae. - You think J Cosmetics depends on that little notebook?

You know I didn't mean it that way. I just wanted to help even a little bit...

Don't ever do such a thing. At any rate, you're the person who killed my sister.

Yoon Jae. Why are you like this?

Me... me... You believe me.

Please don't do that. Don't.

It's so hard here I want to die

I'm hanging on with the hope I will be found innocent.

Please, please don't do that.

I don't want to hear your whining anymore.

Don't be clingy again.

We're done anyway.

Yoon Jae. Yoon Jae, no.

That's not how you really feel.

Please don't do that. No!

Yoon Jae. Yoon Jae! No, Yoon Jae, no!

I'm not going in! Let go! Let go of me!

I'm coming to visit you now.

When you said you'd cancel the investment, what did President Ha Yoon Jae say?

Is that so? I see.

I'll call you later.

Hello.

What brings you here at this hour, President Ha?

- I have something to tell you. - Really? What is it about?

I'll keep my promise.

I'll get married to Yoo Ra.

If you're doing this to protect the company, forget it.

My Yoo Ra grew up lonely.

I can't let her just watch her husband's back after getting married.

I won't leave her lonely.

Even with all the treasures, a woman can't live without love.

I'll do my best.

- Are you done crying? - Thank you.

The one who dared to tell on me is leaving on parole?

Try leaving.

We learned about shaggy cut last week.

We'll practice shaggy cut again today.

You seemed to be struggling with shaggy cut, so we'll have more time to practice today.

Put the pins in the hair and grab the scissors...

What happened? What's going on?

I was going to pick up the scissors, and that bitch stabbed my hand.

- No, no, I didn't do it. - 745 did not do it.

We need to get you treated first. Here!

745 and 1010, to the office. Everyone out!

What do I do... What if I can't leave?

What's this?

What are you doing?

What're you doing?

- What happened? - 745 was asked to pick up the scissors.

588 grabbed her hand and hurt herself. Even if she kills me, I have to tell the truth.

Because there should never be anyone falsely accused of a crime.

Good job today. Get some rest.

[Law and Conscience]

Attorney Min, it's been a long time.

I asked you to have dinner with me... why are you not giving me an answer?

- I've been busy. - Look.

I'm regretting it a lot.

I've been deeply indebted to you for a long time, and I am also raising a child.

So I made that decision, but I regret it.

I can't even describe how I feel.

Look, Attorney M...

My schedule is full this week, but I'll go see Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa next week.

After I interview her, I'll start the retrial request right away.

Thank you. Please help my Yeon Hwa get cleared of false charges.

By the way, why didn't you appeal?

The day of the verdict, I fainted from shock and stayed in the hospital. I have a heart condition.

She had a lawyer, right? If Ms. Seol Yeon Hwa wanted it, her lawyer could have appealed.

Excuse me.

Hello?

Attorney Min Sang Chul? This is Han Kyung Sook, Seol Yeon Hwa's mom.

- Hello? - Oh, yes.

I couldn't reach you from my phone, but you're answering a call from a different phone.

I have a question. Why didn't you appeal for my daughter?

My daughter really wanted it, so why didn't you do it?

I'm not trying to pick on it now. There must be a reason for not appealing,

And I think it'll be helpful for the retrial request.

I think it'll be better to ask In Seok about it. I'm going to go now.

Attorney Min, hello?

In Seok? Yoo Ra's father?

- I should get back home. - We left home.

I have to go back.

A simple, light BB cream that's a combination of blemish balm, sunblock and foundation?

They're in testing right now and trying to set up a production line.

Surprisingly investors are lining up and things are going rather smoothly.

Nonsense.

This aside, what do you mean, investors are lining up?

Stock price collapsed and the brand image hit the bottom, so who's investing?

Looks like Lady Jo Myoung Rae is helping out.

That hag... it wasn't enough at the meeting? She's even getting the investors?

As if he's a grandson-in-law.

Lady Jo's connections are wide and deep, so it looks like she's a big help to President Ha.

Got it.

Come in.

You have a guest, Mr. Kim Tae Il.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I can stay with Yoon Jae here.

But if you need me for anything, I'll do it for you.

Honestly, I can't forgive Yoon Jae.

I don't understand how he took the side of the woman who killed Yoon Hee, and never apologized.

Strictly speaking, since Yoon Jae's girlfriend killed Yoon Hee, he should take half the blame.

Isn't that the case?

He even transferred all of Yoon Hee's stocks to himself before of the shareholders' meeting.

To protect his position as the CEO, he worked on that, he did.

How can I accept it?

I can never forgive him for Yoon Hee.

- What do you want me to do? - Make him leave the position on his own.

- Oh, we had a guest. - I'll call you again, so let's talk next time.

Excuse me, this wine is great. Why don't you taste a little before you go?

We never even got a chance to drink together.

No, it's already late, so you should leave.

See you next time. I'll call you. Bye.

Then I'll get going.

Ha Yoon Jae's ambitious product plan.

What's this?

He saw this idea yesterday, but it's progressed this much?

To make it fast, put it in a tube, not a jar.

Even the shape is the same.

Did Ha Yoon Jae copy this from somewhere?

Can't call it copying...

Well, that's my daughter's idea notebook...

This is upsetting. It can't go this well.

That old hag Jo Myoung Rae is even helping him. Are you just going to sit by and watch?

- Should I put something in the new product? - What is there not to try?

As if he's a grandson-in-law.

She's taking care of Ha Yoon Jae to get him married to Yoo Ra.

Those two are getting married?

Wow, that's a big deal. Yoon Jae will collapse on his own without any help.

What are you saying?

Why are you taking out a music CD?

Seol Yeon Hwa said she's not an industrial spy, right?

- It's actually Choi Yoo Ra. - What?

What do you mean? The industrial spy is Choi Yoo Ra...

Choi Yoo Ra made Seol Yeon Hwa into an industrial spy.

And the proof is all in here.

Since this can't get to Yoon Jae, it'll be an easy way to shake up Lady Jo.

Then, what about the accident? Yoon Hee's accident?

That I don't know. It could be Seol Yeon Hwa, or not.

Perhaps Ha Yoon Jae is getting married to the woman who killed his sister.

Still, he's my brother, so I'm not sure if I should just watch...

Choi Yoo Ra.

Come here now.

Yes, I'm coming. I'm coming right now.

Please, just one call. Just this one time.

I have a lot of points left.

1010's gone through a lot.

Please. Just one call, please.

Just one call, please?

I'm granting you your last wish to celebrate your parole.

Hey, 1010, come quickly.

Does she like me? Hey! Hey!

I have an emergency. I'll call you tomorrow.

How many times has it been?

What do you think I am?

Sit.

I ran here, so I'm thirsty. I'd like one too.

Yoon Jae.

Will you... marry me?

Please answer the phone, Yoon Jae.

Hello.

It's me, Yoon Jae. Please don't hang up and listen to me.

Subtitles by DramaFever

I didn't do that to the Team Manager. It was Yoo Ra. Choi Yoo Ra.

Why are you like this? You know how much I love you.

Why are you so cruel?

How can you get married?

I'll always repay my debts.

Just because you say that doesn't mean anything. Give it up.

How are you going to keep this up?

Yoon Jae proposed to me yesterday.

He gave me this ring.

Please let me go. I beg of you.

You take her man and ruin her life.

What has she ever done wrong?

I'll make it up. I'll make it up for everything.

Just close your eyes to this please.
