Your Majesty.

You're going around Heng'an

with Princess Misha today.

Your Majesty.

In front of a guest,

you can't look tired.

There's no need.

What are you doing?

You brat.

Oh my god.

Your Majesty, your injury.

I told you,

don't touch me for no reason.

Also,

why didn't you return to Violet Bureau yet?

Violet Bureau?

I'll return immediately.

I'm giving this back to you.

I bid my leave.

Your Majesty.

Why did you let Yu'er

return to Violet Bureau?

Don't you think

that things are good now?

You may both go.

Yes.

Your Majesty is a man of your word indeed.

Where's your Sword Bearer?

Why should we bring her on our date?

Your Majesty.

Your white horse is very valiant.

But mine isn't bad either.

My horse's name is Siyu.

Together with the name of Your Majesty's horse,

it's Rufeng Siyu. (Meaning like the wind and rain)

Don't you think that their names suit each other too?

Wasn't its name Bushe?

Its name changed

after we met yesterday.

Do you

want to go now?

Your Majesty, let's go.

Qi Yan told Little Fish

to return to Violet Bureau.

He commanded her

not to serve by his side anymore.

And this morning,

he took Liu Misha

out of the palace to have fun.

He didn't choose me

because he didn't want Father to be pleased.

He didn't choose Cheng Ruoyu

because he wants to protect her.

But why did he choose Misha?

Do you think

Qi Yan did that

to protect Little Fish too?

Since he locked Cheng Ruoyu outside the city gate

the day they were interrogating the Zheng clan's remaining accomplice,

I knew already.

Interesting.

Qi Yan, who kills so ruthlessly,

can love someone too.

Can't one who kills ruthlessly

love someone?

What is the progress on the background of Zhenwu?

I contacted our spies in the sentries along the way.

We've confirmed

that after the Zhenwu royal retainers crossed the border,

a group of traveling merchants came from Lucong

to Heng'an.

They were less than 100 people.

They scattered after entering the city.

Some stayed at inns,

others at homestays.

There doesn't seem to be anything special with them.

Merchants from Lucong?

They claim to come to Heng'an for shelter,

but they spend money extravagantly.

They don't seem poor.

We tested two of them.

They know martial arts too.

The Zhenwu military adviser

might be among them.

Greetings, Sword Bearer.

Since His Majesty already said so,

come back first.

Those from Yuzhen Hall

also need to integrate slowly.

By the way,

why don't I see Madam Jade and the others?

It's too conspicuous

to suddenly get 300 people

to join Violet Bureau.

They're awaiting orders back in Yuzhen Hall.

Yuzhen Hall?

However,

isn't Yuzhen Hall sealed?

That's why it's even safer.

No one would think

that we'd return there.

Even if His Majesty misunderstood you,

a person's heart will be revealed in time.

He'll understand someday.

I think His Majesty was lying.

If he really suspects me,

why did he let me come back

to manage Violet Bureau?

He must have his reasons

for intentionally luring me away.

You're all grown up indeed.

You think maturely as well.

Aunt, don't worry.

I'm fine.

I'll go and visit Madam Jade and the others.

I'll get going, Aunt.

Mrs. Cai, I'm back!

It's not poisoned.

Eat.

This is

the famous West Market?

It's so lively.

Miss.

Do you want to buy a lamp?

It's so nice.

This is top-quality lamp.

It was brought from the western region.

Do you want to buy one?

Isn't this fun?

May you have peace year after year.

Does it sound nice?

Yes.

Take a look.

Buy one, take one.

Take a look.

Buy one, take one.

Buy one.

This is Kunlun slave mask?

Yes, it is.

It's very nice.

It's buy one, take one, so...

I'll have one, and you'll have one.

Is it nice?

I want this one.

But I didn't bring money.

But I want it.

It's fine.

It's not worth much.

I'll give it to you, Princess.

Who are you?

Who exactly are you?

Little Fish?

Little Fish is here.

She's just in time.

You can tell them to retreat.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

Let me see.

You're wounded.

Does it hurt?

I'm fine.

Let me see.

Is it serious?

Your Majesty.

Lucong's command token.

They were surely aiming at me.

Let's return to the palace.

Clean up here.

Goodbye, Little Sword Bearer.

He must think

that I'm following him again.

It's really impossible to clear my name anymore.

Xiu.

Go to Commissioner of the Capital for some official business.

Qiu Yanzhi.

What a coincidence.

You're here too.

Is it a coincidence?

Isn't it?

You told the assassin

to bring Lucong's command token.

And based on his martial arts skill,

it should be from Chess of Generals Camp.

It seems like

not only did your martial arts skill improve,

your way of thinking has improved too.

Why did you try to assassinate His Majesty?

What do you think?

I think

that you weren't aiming at His Majesty,

but Zhengwu's Princess Misha.

Yes,

and no.

Xiu.

Go.

Wait for the show,

Little Fish.

Listen carefully.

An assassin from Lucong

openly attempted to kill

His Majesty in plain clothes and Zhenwu's princess

in the streets.

We're sealing the city for an investigation.

Lucong's merchant group will be locked up.

We'll release them after the investigation is done.

If anyone knows anything,

inform us immediately.

Move!

- Yes! - Yes!

Come on.

Let's go, hurry.

You mean

you want to take this opportunity

to capture Lucong's merchant group?

Yes.

Why?

I suspect

that the third party is Zhengwu's military adviser.

And at this moment,

he's pretending to be part of Lucong's merchant group

and hiding in Heng'an.

Does His Majesty know?

What do you think?

Your Majesty.

Qiu Ziliang's side

seems to have noticed too.

You must catch that person

and bring him to me

before they do.

Yes.

Also,

don't let Cheng Ruoyu

get involved in this matter anymore.

Yes.

Go.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Why did you

suddenly disappear?

My wound is aching.

- I'll assist you in going back. - There's no need.

Your Majesty, I'll accompany you.

His Majesty was aware of it.

That was why he told me

not to follow the assassin

and investigate.

But why?

This is a critical moment.

He needs talented people.

I can do a lot of things.

Could it be

because

of the peony that Duke Chu gave me?

Father gave you the peony

to test

if His Majesty wants to take you as a concubine.

And His Majesty's response

was to transfer you back to Violet Bureau

and get close with Princess Misha.

He's acting like he wants

to have a marriage connection with Zhenwu.

What do you think

his real motive is?

Silly girl.

His Majesty is protecting you.

Where are you going?

I'm going back to the palace.

I don't need this kind of protection.

As the Sword Bearer,

this is my duty.

I won't have any personal relationships

with His Majesty.

And I won't become His Majesty's concubine.

Duke Chu can feel at ease.

Duke Chu won't feel at ease.

And he'd rather mistakenly kill

those he doesn't feel at ease with

than spare them.

So

if you're really considering His Majesty's sake

and wants to return to his side,

there's only one way.

What is it?

Let me

become his queen.

Grand Empress Dowager's banquet

is coming soon.

Yet you injured yourself

this way.

Uncle.

Don't tell her about this.

She's not healthy.

And she's under too much stress

because of Aunt Ninghe's illness.

She's still bedridden until now.

What if

I go and visit her?

Your Majesty.

I'll visit her

and chat with her.

I'll tell her

anecdotes from the grasslands.

Perhaps

her mood will lighten up,

and she'll recover.

That's a good idea.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

I'll go there now.

Do you really want to make use of Zhenwu's power?

No.

Then why did you make Yu'er leave?

You don't have to tell me if it's not convenient.

Your Majesty, focus on recovering.

I'll go ahead.

Uncle.

Uncle.

Back then, you told me

that with Yu'er by my side,

she can block the sword

and die for me.

But now,

I want her to stay alive.

There are

too many dangers around me.

If we're not careful,

we'll die together.

Qiu Yanzhi.

Do you really like His Majesty?

You're so silly.

What I like

is the position of queen.

Could it be that you kept

helping me and His Majesty secretly because...

Think about it.

I'm a good candidate.

If he marries me,

it can ease up His Majesty

and Father's relationship.

He'll get the Shencai Army

and Chess of Generals Camp's support.

His Majesty can quickly

become stable in his position.

He has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

What's the use of telling me?

I don't call the shots.

It's up to His Majesty.

Qiu Yanzhi.

You're helping me so much.

Once Qiu Ziliang finds out,

he definitely won't spare you.

Are you doing these things

just to be the queen?

Yes.

What about him?

He likes you.

I'm not blind.

If Chess Overseer becomes queen,

I'll be like the maternal uncle.

I feel so excited just thinking about it.

You two are really the same type of people.

I got it.

I get it now.

You're really the same.

It's decided then.

Tell Yuzhen Hall to prepare

and wait for news from me.

Well...

We almost captured all of them,

except for one.

The merchant group's messenger is gone.

You didn't find him?

I searched the inn

before Yan Xiu arrived.

Everyone else was here.

He was the only one gone.

I was careless.

I didn't expect that he'll blend

into Lucong's merchant group and enter the capital.

Continue searching for him.

The Chess of Generals Camp

only suspects Zhenwu's military advisor.

But we

already know

who the military advisor is.

In this aspect,

we have the upper hand already.

Yes.

What if I return to the palace first?

No.

I must find Madam Jade and the others first.

Cheng Ruoyu.

Ziyuan.

You went out of the palace too?

Madam Jade and the others transferred somewhere else.

She told me to bring you over.

Let's go.

Ziyuan.

Is it still far away?

We'll be there soon.

Who is it?

Master.

This is

the new Sword Bearer of Violet Bureau,

Cheng Ruoyu.

Qi Yan likes her a lot.

There are rumors

that he even wants to make her his concubine.

Very good.

You can do the next thing then.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

Shencai Army Military Protector Lieutenant Yan Xiu

sent an urgent report.

Your Majesty.

Yu'er was captured.

Zhenwu captured her.

What should we do?

I'll personally go there.

Your Majesty, please be careful.

Huaizhi.

Inform the imperial guards

to gather at the palace gate.

Your Majesty.

Grand Empress Dowager is summoning you.

I don't have time now.

I'll go to Grandmother a while later.

However,

Grand Empress Dowager is asking you

to go now.

All right.

(He's making cherry pastry.)

Military advisor.

Why are you here?

Someone tried to assassinate Princess today.

The assassin is from Lucong.

(It's Zhenwu's military advisor indeed.)

They came to kill us.

I heard that someone is leading rebel soldiers

out there

and wants to return to position.

That's not important.

Heng'an has tight security.

People from Lucong can't make much trouble.

As for Ninghe, how is she?

She's still unconscious.

Don't tell anyone that I came,

including Misha.

The king told Misha to come here,

so that she can marry the emperor.

I'll find an opportunity to make that happen.

Don't worry.

Yes.

Go.

Yes.

Stop pretending.

You're here, Your Majesty.

Greetings, Grandmother.

Misha is telling me

fun stories in the grasslands.

Come and listen too.

I'm wondering

what you want to talk to me about.

I have matters to attend to on my side.

You're very busy?

I originally wanted you and Princess Misha

to have dinner together.

I don't have much time today.

What if

we prepare

a dinner banquet tomorrow

for Princess Misha

with the best food in Xing

as a host?

Sure.

Grand Empress Dowager.

Tomorrow night is fine too.

All right.

You may get to work then.

Thank you, Grandmother.

I'll go ahead.

Your Majesty.

You're so busy.

Are you going out of the palace?

Yes.

I'm going hunting

to make knee pads for Grandmother.

Bring me along then.

I've long heard of how nice palace hunts are.

I want to take a look too.

No.

Why not?

It's not convenient.

Grand Empress Dowager.

Your Majesty.

Bring Princess Misha along.

She's our guest.

And she's knowledgeable in Heng'an's culture.

It's obvious that she put in a lot of effort since she was little.

Yes.

Thank you, Grand Empress Dowager.

Go.

Madam Xiu.

Yes.

Do you think

they suit each other?

Grand Empress Dowager.

Princess Misha is innocent and unaffected.

She's very cute indeed.

But she's an outsider after all.

In terms of a suitable girl,

it must still be Li Deyun's daughter.

You mean Zening?

I like that girl too.

Eight years ago,

Qi Yan blinded my eye.

I escaped death and went to Zhenwu.

And over 300 people in my clan

were all killed.

Don't you think

that I must seek revenge for that?

You're also a victim

of the Morning Dew Rebellion?

That's right.

You were also the one who instigated Wu?

Wu and I have a deep hatred for our enemy.

And she was very obedient.

What about Ziyuan?

Why is Ziyuan listening to you?

Since you're here,

why don't you come out?

I'm offering a cup of tea on my Master's behalf

and brought a message to you.

Mengding Mountain Morning Dew Tea.

You're the pawn

that person arranged in Yuzhen Hall.

No wonder.

No wonder he knew everything

Yuzhen Hall does.

I was originally

that person's servant.

After Master was gone,

I've been staying at this place

to get in contact with him more conveniently.

Now that he's finally back,

aren't you happy, Your Highness?

What is he planning to do in coming back?

He told me to ask you

if the girl named Cheng Ruoyu

should be killed

or kept alive.

Your Majesty.

Aren't you going hunting?

Why did you come here?

Is there anything else you want to ask?

Do you want to kill His Majesty?

I just want him to return

what he shouldn't have.

Don't move.

His Majesty will come.

You can't escape.

What do you think this place is?

Where is she?

Who?

Search the place!

Search it!

- Yes! - Yes!

Hurry.

This way.

This is the so-called hunt you were referring to?

Isn't your Sword Bearer

- at the West Market? - Come on.

- Why are you looking for her here? - Come here.

Don't miss that area too.

Could it be

that you want to go back

on what we agreed on?

This way.

- Coming. - Search!

Isn't this the relay station?

There are eyes and ears everywhere in the relay station.

I just

circled around with you.

Otherwise, how can I confuse them?

Where am I?

The guest is already here.

Why don't you come in?

Your Highness.

Yu'er?

Yu'er, come.

Yu'er.

How are you feeling?

Let me check.

I'm fine.

Where are we?

Yuzhen Hall.

What did you do to Madam Jade and the others?

Worry about yourself first.

Yu'er.

Her heart meridian is damaged.

You treated her so ruthlessly.

She has a good foundation.

I understand

why you taught her martial arts.

I didn't teach her.

She learned on her own.

Your Majesty.

We didn't find Ms. Yu'er.

All right.

Where is the military advisor?

What?

Where exactly is your military advisor?

He didn't come.

He did.

He's right here.

Tell me where he is.

Otherwise,

I'll capture and interrogate them all.

Wait.

Your Majesty, what are you doing?

You're going to use baseless accusations

to capture us?

My Sword Bearer

went missing

in your relay station.

Where's your proof?

Who saw Cheng Ruoyu

come here?

And who saw our military advisor?

What's going on here?

Your Majesty.

Princess.

Why are you here?

His Majesty is claiming

that our military advisor

captured his Sword Bearer,

and he wants to capture and interrogate us.

You know about this, don't you?

I...

I don't know.

Where did you come back from?

They're all here.

You're the only one who came back from outside.

I...

I had some drinks outside.

I was a bit drunk,

so I slept a bit before returning.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Just because of a palace maid,

you're making such a big fuss.

Insulting the royal retainers is like insulting Zhenwu.

Your Majesty, do you really want to be so ruthless?

Your Majesty.

This person claims that he saw Ms. Yu'er.

Where did you see her?

I was guarding the gate today,

and I saw someone

walk by carrying a girl.

Wait.

Who was carrying her?

He kept his head low.

I didn't see clearly.

Do you remember where he went?

He... He went towards the north.

Your Majesty!

You may disperse.

Princess.

Where is the military advisor?

You're not telling me too?

The military advisor

came to Heng'an indeed.

Why did he capture Cheng Ruoyu?

I don't know about that.

Where is he now?

Your Majesty.

We didn't find Cheng Ruoyu.

Your Majesty.

We didn't find Cheng Ruoyu by the middle street.

Your Majesty.

We didn't find Cheng Ruoyu around the West Market.

Continue searching.

Even if you must search the entire Heng'an City,

find her!

- Yes! - Yes!

Follow me.

(Where are you, Cheng Ruoyu?)

(Where are you?)

It seems like

Little Fish

is more important to Qi Yan

than you and I have imagined.

Morning Dew Tea

must be harvested after the Qingming Festival.

Boiled spring water must be used to make it.

Only after the second brew

will it fully reveal its flavor.

The aroma will linger in your mouth.

Your Highness, try it.

What do you think?

I know what you want.

You can't do that.

Why not?

Since you escaped death,

you should treasure what you have.

Why are you so obsessed with revenge?

You even got Lucong

and Zhenwu involved,

putting Xing in a precarious state.

Xing has long been in a precarious state.

It's Qiu Ziliang's fault.

It's Qi Yan's fault.

It's not my fault.

Even if they're at fault,

the citizens are unharmed.

The citizens have long been living

in misery.

In the past eight years,

I make this Morning Dew Tea daily

to remind myself

not to forget Wang Yang's death,

the Morning Dew Rebellion,

and

the mission the late emperor gave me!

What about you?

As for you,

just like when we were little,

you're weak and feigning ignorance.

Why are you using the citizens as an excuse?

You just don't have any guts at all!

You, Qi Chen,

don't deserve to be a descendant of the Qi family!

Your Majesty.

His Highness Prince Guang is gone.

Since when?

His Highness' leg injury just got a little better.

He doesn't go out unless it's necessary.

I went out to buy paper this morning.

It just took less than half an hour,

and he was gone was when I came back.

Was Prince Guang

kidnapped by Zhenwu's military advisor,

just like Little Fish?

A newborn calf makes little of a tiger.

This girl

has more guts than you.

She's innocent.

Let her go.

How can the one Qi Yan likes

be innocent?

That's nonsense.

If Qi Yan doesn't like you,

he won't come to save you.

We'll find out very soon.

I see.

He captured Yu'er

and Uncle.

So this is

your conspiracy.

Let's return to the palace.

Your Majesty, aren't we searching anymore?

Uncle will be fine.

He'll come to find me.

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Someone sent this.

Where is he?

I didn't see him.

I just heard the sound of the wind,

and this sword was on the stake.
