Legend of Fei

Episode 49

Why can’t the patterns match

no matter how I observe?

Fei.

Screwed.

Why is her breath stagnating?

Am I going to die?

Screwed! She’s trapped in it.

Xie Meimei.

Fei. Fei.

Ripple pattern?

Seems like I’m getting close

to the Color of Ocean and Heaven.

Listen.

If you want to live,

you...

Open the Color of Ocean and Heaven for me.

You overestimate me, Lord Shen.

It’s such an important thing.

I don’t know how to open it.

You’re Chongxiao’s disciple.

You must know many mechanisms of Qi School.

You opened the entrance to the Forbidden Hall,

didn’t you?

I’ll get to the point, then.

I can open it for you.

But you must promise me three things.

First,

let them leave safe and sound.

Second,

I’ll take away the Book of Almighty Medicine.

You can keep the rest of things.

Third,

I’ll tell you later.

You think I can’t open it

after I kill all of you?

That’s right.

You can’t open it.

Why am I back again?

Zhou Fei.

Somehow,

this is your destiny.

It’s also Xie Yun’s.

No. I don’t believe in destiny!

Fine.

I promise.

You can’t escape

or change anything.

Everything is illusion.

Everything is destined.

Why do you still struggle?

I never yield to

any so-called destiny!

I need five tokens for the Color of Ocean and Heaven.

Yin and Yang reinforce each other.

Methods of Qi School originated from Eight-trigram.

All mysteries are contained

in the Eight-trigram.

Qian, three Yang. Heaven in the northwest.

Kun, six Yin. Earth in the southwest.

Earth in the southwest.

Dui, three Yin on the top. Two lakes in the west.

Two lakes in the west.

Xun, three Yin on the bottom. No wind in the southeast.

Zhen, six Yin on the top. Four thunders in the east.

Hope the last one is right.

Grass grows in dry earth.

Fire melts ice and brings water.

How can you survive if you don’t know this place?

Wake up.

Fei.

Wake up!

Fei, are you alright?

You were trapped just now.

I did?

I left the Method of Qi School.

It’s dangerous, which easily kills people.

What’s wrong with Lyu Run?

He asked us to be careful in the end!

Who could see that?

How mean he was!

All right, Weed Spirit.

I’m glad you’re fine.

Let’s try to get out of here.

I’m freezing.

Okay.

Let’s go.

Come on.

Refinement of Iron

Refinement of Iron

Book of Almighty Medicine

What’s happening?

Go.

Lord Shen.

Book of Almighty Medicine.

When I was at your age,

I realized something.

I must strive for

whatever I want.

I’m a grateful man.

You opened this place for me.

I’ll keep you alive.

Don’t play tricks with me.

Go.

Aye.

Kill!

All of them!

Aye.

Book of Almighty Medicine

Young girl.

You have good martial arts.

Shut up and give me the book!

What’s happening?

What’s happening?

Lord, sounds like

it came from the Forbidden Hall.

Fei.

Go!

Fei, go!

Don’t mind me. Just go!

Go!

The mechanism is triggered.

This place is collapsing! Leave!

Go!

Hurry!

Go!

The door is cracked. Go this way.

Fei, don’t worry too much.

Mr. Xie will be alright.

I know.

He won’t be dying for the moment.

But...

Ying Hecong.

Keep half of the Book of Almighty Medicine.

Okay.

Sheng.

Take them to a safe place.

I’ll go find Xie Yun.

I think this is what Shen Tianshu wants.

Lord.

There were all kinds of treasures

in the Color of Ocean and Heaven.

Why did you only get this book?

In old days,

the blacksmith who made me the iron hand

had wonderful skills.

He made my iron hand

into a magic weapon.

Unexpectedly, he told me

a far better way of iron refinement

than what he could do.

Compared to weapons made of that,

my iron hand

can be nothing.

I searched it for years.

At last,

I knew Huang Shenbian put it

in the Color of Ocean and Heaven.

Actually so magic?

It’s said that

weapons made by Refinement of Iron

will be sharp

and flexible.

If we have such weapons...

We will

be all-conquering.

But...

Lord.

We only have half of the Refinement of Iron.

But we have Xie Yun.

We will get the other half back.

Track Shen Tianshu to find Xie Yun.

You neither eat nor drink.

Don’t you feel bad?

I can’t run away.

Why don’t you go have something to eat?

Stop talking and behave yourself!

Well.

How did you join the Demons Manor?

Shen Tianshu has poor character

and he’s mean to others.

How about this?

I know the men with Liu’s Manor.

I can recommend you to them.

You like to worry a lot.

Such a wilderness

is far worse than your previous palace.

Sorry for that, Your Majesty.

It doesn’t matter.

I just feel

your manor is declining.

I also worry about you.

You’re still alive,

only because you’re useful to me.

Looks like the half book Fei has taken

matters a lot to you.

What is that book?

Too much wisdom will hurt you.

Your friend is coming soon, I guess.

Xie Meimei.

Are you alright?

I’m fine.

Fei, where’s the other half of the book?

Here.

Refinement of Iron?

What’s this?

Do you remember the steel refinement

I told you last time?

It’s recorded in the Refinement of Iron.

With this book,

incomparably sharp weapons can be made.

No way.

We can’t let Shen Tianshu have it.

But...

We need the other half of Book of Almighty Medicine

from him.

Since Shen Tianshu

racks his brains to get this book,

why don’t we turn his trick to our own use?

Can you recite it?

Don’t worry.

Screwed! It’s a trap!

Let’s get back!

-Go! -Go!

Report!

Report!

Lord.

Someone broke into the room where Xie Yun was kept.

But...

They might fail to unshackle him.

Xie Yun is still there.

Bring him to me.

I’ll guard him personally.

Aye.

You...

Take some men to search the Big Medicine Valley

and find out where they’re hiding.

Aye!

You appeared like a ghost.

You freaked me out!

Where’s Xie Yun?

Mr. Ying.

Can you get enough information

from the half Book of Almighty Medicine?

Bone-chilling is the No.1 poison.

Based on half of the book,

I can’t figure out the complete antidote.

I need the other half.

I understand.

Do you?

Ying Hecong.

Where are you going?

Many herbs are needed for the antidote to Bone-chilling.

In the Big Medicine Valley,

there must be many precious herbs.

I’ll go and get some.

But we don’t even know

how many Demons are still in the Valley.

It’s too dangerous for you to go.

I know.

But the poison on Mr. Xie can’t wait.

I must make the best use of my time.

I’ll be careful.

Don’t.

Wait. Wait.

I heard you.

I’ll go with you, too.

Let’s go and come back early.

-Go. -Go.

Lord Shen.

You keep an eye on me personally.

This is really a bit awkward.

Lord, Zhou Fei has come again.

How many people came with her?

She came alone.

Go!

Zhou Fei.

You dare to come alone.

It’s brave of you.

Shut up and let’s get to the point.

I’ll exchange the other half of Refinement of Iron

for Xie Yun and Book of Almighty Medicine.

Good. Deal then.

Where’s the other half?

Look. It’s what you want.

Refinement of Iron is gone now.

But Lord Shen, don’t be angry.

Xie Yun has recited

the other half of Refinement of Iron.

Forge the pig iron into wrought iron.

It becomes steel in a couple of days.

Make the iron into the back of the blade.

Bathe it with animals’ feces

and melt it with animals’ fat.

It will cut thirty layers of armors.

Forge the pig iron into wrought iron.

What?

Is this what in your book?

You tricked me again.

Fine.

Forge a blade

with what you’ve recited.

I only accept the blade.

When the blade is done,

you’ll have Xie Yun

and the Book of Almighty Medicine.

Okay. It’s a deal.

Come on.

This is for you.

We’re looking for precious herbs.

We must search carefully.

You’re right. I’ll go have a look.

I’ll go with you.

No!

The Big Medicine Valley is so big.

It’ll be faster if we go separate ways.

You’re right. Let’s go separate ways.

I’ll go that way.

Be very careful.

I see.

I’m going that way, then.

Ying Hecong.

Wait a second.

What?

I...

Nothing.

I’ve got something very precious

to entrust you.

As the saying goes,

something unexpected may happen at any time.

I’m a man who fights every day.

If I die someday,

I’m afraid I have no one

to entrust the precious thing with.

Very precious?

Does he mean

Li Yan?

Do you promise me?

Yes.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Fine.

You can’t go back on your words!

A real man never goes back on his words!

The very precious thing I mean

is to be the Chief of Small Medicine Valley.

Medicine

Bonehead.

I don’t want this!

You said a real man wouldn’t go back on your words.

Be a real man if you want.

But I don’t want that.

There are so many herbs in the Valley.

If I have the other half Book of Almighty Medicine,

I may also be a miracle physician.

Why didn’t I study hard back then?

Yan.

After everything is over,

go back to the South with me, okay?

Screwed! Screwed!

Screwed! Screwed!

The Demons are coming!

Let’s leave!

-Go! -But, you...

Get out of the way!

I can’t stop.

Get out of the way!

You look so sweet.

Where are the others?

Tell us where they are

and I can spare your lives.

How dare you ask! Defeat me first.

Defeat you? Who are you?

You don’t know who he is?

He’s the owner of Cloud Ravine,

known as Bonehead Blade of the South.

The Strongest Blade!

Whatever.

A big name indeed.

Kill them!

You have good martial arts.

I underestimated you.

Hou what?

Hou You.

Never heard of it.

I’m a capable assistant of Lord Shen

with Demons Manor.

It’s so ignorant of you!

What You?

Hou You!

Go!

Retreat!

Xiao Chuan.

You should have been an emperor.

But now you’re forging a blade for me.

Shen Tianshu.

Why do you insist on being a dog,

instead of a human?

Not a dog,

but a wolf.

Tonight,

I’m in good mood.

I’ll teach you how to behave in this world.

We can’t be a real strong man

unless we go through all difficulties.

A real strong man

not only has great martial arts.

He also cares for the world,

protects its people,

and is respected.

Shen Tianshu.

You have the best martial arts, so what?

You’ll be notorious for the time to come

and be forever cursed.

I don’t care.

Yan.

I wanted to tell you something.

After everything is over,

go back to the South with me.

I want to be with you.

What...? What do you think?

I’m serious.

Youhuang

Youhuang?

Lord Shen.

The blade is done.

But it needs the last procedure.

Give me the Book of Almighty Medicine.

Or the blade will be ruined.

Fine.

I’ll keep my promise.

Here it is.

Fine.

Let’s do the last procedure.

Let me do it.

Done.

Get me the blade.

Aye.

Lord, here’s the blade.

Fei.

Go.

It’s really a sharp blade.

Fei.

You’re finally out.

What happened to him?

Let’s get back first.

Okay.

I set traps here.

The Demons won’t catch up in a short while.

Come with me. Come on.

You’re awake?

How do you feel?

I’m fine. I’m just tired.

Are you really fine?

Yes.

Screwed! Screwed!

Something is wrong with the other half.

What is wrong?

Some words are erased

from the book.

What can we do to make up for it?

I can only figure out the antidote

by guessing the context.

We’ll fight poison with poison.

If I use one single wrong herb,

he will not live.

So, I can’t be more cautious.

I’ll go review it again.

Fei.

Shall we go back to the Fortress of the Forty-Eight?

Even if I must die,

I want to die in a beautiful place.

Don’t talk nonsense.

Fine.

Let’s go home.

Yan.

Yan.

I bring you something to eat.

Yan.

Were you unhappy

for what I said yesterday?

How annoying! Why do you keep asking?

I’ve made myself so clear.

Why do you still not understand me?

I... I understand you.

I just don’t know how to reply.

Going to the South is something big.

You agree?

I’ll just visit the South with you.

Fine. Fine.

Whatever you say.

Okay.

Have some, too.

Book of Almighty Medicine

Bone-chilling

I’ve got an idea!

Zhou Fei! Zhou Fei!

I’ve got an idea for the antidote!

Come over. Keep your voice down. He’s asleep.

What did you say?

I’ve got an idea for the antidote.

Really?

Yes. Yes.

Uh...

I’ve got a problem.

The last herb...

I’m not sure

if it’s Dry Grass or Dry Sprout.

I thought about testing them on animals.

But no animals

can stand such strong effect.

Well.

What about humans?

Try them on me.

Okay?

No.

I’m a physician.

I can’t kill someone for saving another.

Zhou Fei.

You’re a healthy girl.

If the antidote goes wrong,

you’ll be ruined.

No more nonsense.

Just try them on me.

Zhou Fei.

You want to save him with your own life.

Is it worth it?

It is.

Don’t tell anyone else.

Okay.

I’ll get the antidote ready soon.
