Second counter-measure it's about links and how dangerous link could be.
So as soon as the previous attacks just by clicking on the link someone will get full access on your
device.
And if you watch the social engineering section that will be coming after a few lectures you can see
how easy it is to convince someone to click on the link because you can see that it's very easy to spoof
someone e-mail.
I can send you an e-mail in and it will show that it's coming from your bank or I can send you an S
M s showing that it's coming from your friend.
So it's very easy to manipulate with such tool and by clicking on the link you may lose all your information
or you may lose your credential or you may let someone connect to your device and have access to everything
that you have.
So it's very very dangerous to click on any link.
You should not trust e-mail blindly.
As you can see later on that you know the tools that fake e-mail are very very easy or as a mess or
even phone call.
So you should not trust e-mail or you should not trust.
It's a mess or immobile call blindly.
You should verify so link represents the big risk.
And if you are working in any organization and you open and you are connected to this organization network
and you click on the link YOU DID NOT JUST sacrify your device but actually you let someone connect
to the Fool organization network.
So it's extremely dangerous so you should not click on that.
What should you do in this case.
Verification if it's a bank you should call the bank.
If you're someone you know you should call him back but you should not blindly click on them.
Some people may say OK I'm going to click on the link but if I'm requesting to put an username and password
I will not do that.
But actually as I was saying and as you saw in the previous example just by clicking on the links that
said someone connected your device or sometimes it's not that hard.
So this countermeasure is about clicking on the link on in any email or Rasimus.
And then maybe inside a Twitter or Facebook sometimes it puts a shortened link.
So this is actually extremely dangerous.
So use common sense to not click on the link do not trust e-mail blindly because later on we're get
to see how easy it is to manipulate such tools like e-mail and the Smiths and so on.
