Timeless Love Season 1

[You’re my love. I don’t like anyone else’s hands on you. Lovesick]

Episode 18

-I’m sorry. Let me get you a new drink. -What are you doing?

Sorry. Mr. Wu.

That’s all right.

Ms. Cheng. Cheers.

Cheers.

Excuse me.

I’m going to the restroom.

Ms. Cheng.

Look forward

to working with you.

So do I.

Ms. Cheng. Are you drunk?

How about giving you a ride home?

Ms. Cheng.

What are you doing?

Ms. Cheng.

I love you very much

since I saw you dancing

on television.

May I have a chance?

I swear to take care of you.

Ms. Cheng. Ms. Cheng.

Leave me alone!

I love you indeed!

I will take care of you.

Ms. Cheng.

Sorry, I’m late.

Don’t touch me. I need Baoling.

Calm down. I’ll take you home.

Mr. Wu.

She’s my friend.

Now she’s not feeling well.

I’ll take her home.

Let’s go.

[Cheng Feng]

[Cheng Feng]

[Cheng Feng]

[Cheng Feng]

You need to learn to control your temper.

Listen to Baoling.

Do you remember?

[Lian Ruoshen]

Hello?

I saw Cheng

was taken away by Zhou Yao.

Excuse me. I gotta go.

-Jiang Dian! -Jiang Dian!

It’s inappropriate for you to leave.

At the most critical stage,

you can’t go!

[CHINA NEW COUNTRY MUSIC]

Cheng. Let me carry you in.

No. I can do it myself.

You’ve just been given the IV.

Doctor said you’re weak.

Don’t play tough.

I’m OK. You can go.

Dian.

Dian. Let’s go home.

Stay away from her!

Let’s go home.

Go.

-Cheng, you’re up. -Cheng.

Come on.

How you feeling?

Are you experiencing any discomfort?

It’s all my fault. I didn’t take care of you.

My fault.

Where’s Jiang Dian?

Where’s he?

Cheng,

stay calm.

Listen to me.

Police took Jiang Dian.

Zhou Yao

called the police, citing assault without reason.

According to Pang Ting,

Jiang Dian can be held in administrative detention

for Zhou’s injuries.

Surveillance video and the test results of judiciary

provide evidence.

Zhou Yao will sue Jiang Dian.

I wanna see him.

Cheng.

You aren’t going anywhere.

You need rest.

He was framed because of me.

I have to tell the cops.

Cheng.

Calm down.

Even if you tell them,

Jiang Dian indeed beat Zhou Yao.

The security camera confirmed it.

No.

I should go see him.

He needs me.

I won’t break his heart.

What’s more,

he doesn’t know my condition.

He may worry about me.

[Police]

If I were not at the gate of police station,

I would slap you.

So this is the way

you love him?

How long have you been together?

You got him in here.

What do you wanna do next?

Ruin his life?

Can I see him now?

You had the nerve to see him?

Are you gonna

think about what you can do

for his life that might be ruined by you?

Rest assured.

I won’t let it happen again.

[Police]

Dian.

I’m sorry.

Give me more time.

[Police]

Tell me,

what do you want?

About your case against Jiang Dian,

how can you drop the charge?

Are you begging me?

I’m not.

I’m giving you a chance.

Zhou Yao.

You did this

just for my choreography, right?

I tell you what,

this is the only chance you have in your life.

I’m sure.

If you beg me,

you have to ask nicely.

I said,

I’m not begging you.

I’m here.

That’s sincere enough.

Aren’t you afraid to provoke me?

If I don’t drop the charge,

Jiang Dian’s life will be ruined.

I was there.

How serious

are your injuries?

You can’t be badly hurt.

As for those injuries

on your body,

you should know them.

In addition,

you prefer to use this

as your bargaining chips

for my choreography.

You wanna save your career.

Without me,

your dance became a commonplace.

Isn’t that

why you keep pestering me?

Other than that,

why don’t you believe

I’m still in love with you?

Zhou Yao.

Choreographing your dance

doesn’t mean I’ll accept you.

Keep your distance.

Now that we have a deal,

I want Dian to be released

as soon as possible.

After all, you’re in a hurry for my choreography.

Cheng,

you changed.

You never worried about me like this.

Because

you don’t deserve it.

[Police]

Do you know?

You would stay here another night

if I hadn’t talked to the lawyer.

Fine. Stop looking around. She’s not here.

She’s choreographing

with her ex-boyfriend.

How would she have time to come here?

Forget it. Come home with me.

Stop following me.

I won’t go home.

Boss.

Have some water.

Cheng.

When will Jiang Dian be out?

10 A.M. tomorrow.

What did the police say?

The suspect insisted he hadn’t drugged me.

The police are collecting evidence.

How could he?

He must have done that!

Very good.

You made progress.

But there’s much room for improvement.

Back to work.

Leave us alone.

Cheng, thank you.

Ms. Cheng.

There was a little misunderstanding before.

But I hope you can

treat them equally.

You can’t be partial.

This is my job.

It’s unnecessary

to destroy my business for someone.

I think…

this choreography

is not as good as yours for Lian Ruoshen.

Even if it’s the same dance,

different dancers

will have different feel.

The point is whether the dancer

is capable to handle it.

It’s not her problem.

It’s my fault.

Good. A self-aware man.

Boss.

It’s good for Zhou Yao

to accomplish it

just in a week.

But we all know

Cheng should get all the credit.

Baoling’s right.

If they can work together

to make more progress,

it’ll be better.

OK, Boss.

[Royal Entertainment]

Dian,

you look very pale.

How about having a rest home?

Cheng’s gonna end her work soon.

Dian.

She choreographs Zhou’s dance

to bring you back safely.

So you can’t beat him

no matter how angry you are.

If you can’t stand it,

just turn a blind eye.

Excuse me. Excuse me.

Oh no. It’s another bloody storm.

That’s it for today.

Cheng.

Some moves are difficult.

Can you teach me again?

Which one?

It’s…

It’s this.

Our dance is not finished yet.

Don’t forget our appointment.

It’s not the appointed time.

Hands off.

Dian, what are you doing?

This is in the company.

Dian. Let’s get out of here.

It’s good to learn dancing from you.

The moves you taught today…

Dian,

Dian, don’t.

So…

You wanna go back

after your release?

I do.

I want to drag you

into the hell.

I have nothing more to fear.

I lost everything already.

I don’t care.

How about you?

Dian.

Let’s go home.

Dian.

Dian.

When were you released?

Why did you…

I’m sorry, Dian.

I promised you

I would stay away with him.

But…

I know you did this for me.

If only there was no him.

Dian.

The deal between me and him

only lasts until his album release.

It’ll be over soon.

It’s just a job.

Don’t let him affect us, OK?

Dian.

You look so haggard.

When you’re not with me,

no one would remind me to have meals.

I’m sorry, Dian.

It’s because of me.

Don’t be sad anymore, OK?

I miss you so much.

Me too.

Zhou Yao,

I won’t let it go.

Why didn’t you answer my calls?

You wanna get rid of me

after what you’ve done?

If it’s true,

will I prepare you for going abroad

and give you a great deal of money?

Gibberish.

If you prepared indeed,

why didn’t I receive that?

The preparation

was only done today.

If you don’t believe,

I can show you the texts.

An Yin,

I consider you my friend.

Why do you think

I risked doing this

with you?

I admit,

I dislike Cheng Feng.

But I don’t hate her like you.

Think about it,

what happened to her

is something you’d like to see.

But for me,

I don’t care about it.

So how can you explain

that Zhou Yao saved Cheng Feng?

His appearance was quite a coincidence.

Can you guarantee that

you never told him?

You think I would be that stupid

to tell Zhou Yao our plan

knowing he likes Cheng Feng?

Shoot ourselves in the foot?

An Yin,

You doubt me like this.

It makes me hurt.

Sorry.

I didn’t mean to.

I’m just too anxious.

The police began investigation.

I’m afraid they’ll suspect me.

Rest assured.

Everything’s gonna be okay.

To speak plainly,

even if something happens,

I won’t let you

suffer for nothing.

I’ll chuck it back.

Wait a moment.

It’ll be ready soon.

I gotta take this,

Jiang Dian.

Come on over here.

The program went wrong.

I have to go to school.

Don’t worry.

I’ll meet you at home.

I’ll be right back.

Look what you did!

Our program is suspended.

Professor Chen was kick out of our program.

It’s too late to say anything.

You disappeared for four days.

There’re mistakes in your data,

which weren’t corrected timely.

Now we have huge problems

with our experiment.

We failed to submit results of this stage.

So we have to pay for it.

I’m sorry.

I will take on the responsibility.

You will? How can you?

Do you know

how much responsibility and pressure

Professor Chen took on for you!

You will?

Enough.

Anyway, Professor Chen was suspended.

You should be grateful that you have such a good supervisor.

Cheng.

Why did you drink so much?

I miss you so much.

What’s going on?

It’ll be okay.

I’m always here with you.

Zhou Yao!

Shame on you!

You stole my endorsement.

Mind your word.

How can you say I stole it?

It’s you who have a bad reputation.

Your sponsors worried they would be at risk

so they came to me.

What did I do?

What did you do?

If it weren’t for you who smeared me,

would I have a bad reputation?

You play innocent now?

I’m not blind.

You’re not blind

but a blockhead.

How dare you!

Stop!

What’re you doing?

Go ahead.

I told you before,

behave yourself in the company.

No one will baby you.

So when he takes my endorsement with dirty tricks,

you baby him?

You have so many endorsements.

It won’t hurt if you give him one.

Nonsense.

Why should I give him?

Even if I gave to someone,

it wouldn’t be him!

You better watch your attitude.

Do you believe

I can take away all your endorsements?

I worked so hard to get those.

If you give them away

with a word,

I quit. I’d rather have none of them.

Stop!

Do you hear me?

I look down upon those

who do little tricks behind.

What is that?

Battle with me, face to face, if he can.

Play dirty.

It sucks.

You’re right definitely.

But not everyone can do that.

Well,

everyone is complicated.

So we all

behave in a different way.

You can’t

ask everyone

to treat you the same

by your own standards,

especially those sophisticated people

like Zhou Yao.

As you can’t do that,

how about staying away from them?

Listen to Baoling more.

Are you my friend?

Let’s slow down here.

Let me go.

You don’t help me and even

pissed me off.

How could you?

Did I owe you two

in my last life?

You should drink together and make each other crazy.

How great it would be.

It’s not right for me

to do this anyway!

Where are you going?

Drink with me.

[Dai Baoling]

Hello?

Where are you?

Come back!

Baoling, I’m home.

Wait a moment.

I’m getting up.

Liar!

I’m ringing the doorbell

at your house.

I heard no sound on the phone.

Lian Ruoshen,

what on earth are you doing?

Where are you?

Baoling,

I have to tell you.

I might be tricked.

I’m panicking.

Send me your location.

I’ll be there in a moment.

Shut up. Can you be quiet in the morning?

Lian Ruoshen, shame on you!

You were really…

Send me your location.

I’ll come find you.

Baoling.

I can explain it.

It’s not like that.

Where are you going?

Dude, I’m sorry.

I might have got the wrong room.

What are you talking about?

You asked me to check in.

How could you get the wrong room?

Lian Ruoshen, I’m gonna kill you!

Baoling.

You got it wrong.

Safe,

it’s Lu Bie.

You explain to her.

Explain what?

How did you torture me last night?

Disgusting.

Don’t speak so ambiguously.

Come on, explain to her.

Stop it.

Boss’s gonna have you set aside.

You’re in the mood for fun?

Come back right now.

Who is it at this time?

The police station.

Hello?

Hello, may I speak to Cheng Feng?

[Xingfu Street Police Station]

I feel quite disappointed

without seeing anger on your face.

I’m very frustrated.

After all of these,

I didn’t send you to the hell

but got myself like this.

Is there

any justice?

Don’t just blame others.

Nobody owes you.

You can only blame your nasty mind.

Say it.

Who directed you?

I’m always

watching you.

Baoling.

Go ahead.

I would feel better.

It won’t solve the problem.

Fine. I won’t beat you.

Just now you saw

Boss’s attitude.

Cut to the chase.

It depends on how you behave.

As your agent,

what I can do is to get more resources for you.

But it all depends on yourself.

Baoling.

I won’t do what you dislike.

I know you’re talented.

But

can you try to

control your temper?

Do you want Zhou Yao

to be over you?

I promise,

I’ll

control my temper

and never cause troubles.

If I break it,

I will be a monk.

You will be a monk?

Look what you and Lu Bie did yesterday.

Don’t get me wrong. I was drunk

yesterday.

And I threw up on myself.

He was tired

so we…

We found a hotel

for the night.

Nothing happened.

It sounds like

you are so sorry for that?

No, no, no. How dare I?

Come on.

Let’s go, Baoling.

-Let’s have a drink. -Knock it off.

I don’t want you to throw up on me.

♫ I want to know why you feel lonely ♫

♫ I want to stay with you ♫

♫ I wanna tell you not to be afraid of the dark since I’m here ♫

♫ I want to keep you warm ♫

♫ But I may not deserve such happy ending ♫

♫ It’s okay. I will rest assured if you are happy ♫

♫ Love is transitory ♫

♫ I can laugh while regretting ♫

♫ I’ve been used to it ♫

♫ Even my tears are brave ♫

♫ The moments of our memory ♫

♫ The answer you are looking for in every minute ♫

♫ I really want to shoulder everything for you ♫

Why are you back so soon?

Have you finished your experiment?

Not yet but I’m almost finished with it.

Let me help.

You’re cooking steak.

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

Cannon.

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

Who’s that boy?

He’s standing there

for hours.

He’s my student.

♫ Staying with you is my best habit ♫

Why don’t you go there?

Does he want to talk to you?

He doesn’t come,

which means he’s not in a hurry.

Never mind.

You captured my chariot?

Cheng,

where’s Jiang Dian?

Is everything okay with him?

What do you mean?

During my breakfast,

I heard from a Physics professor

that he hadn’t attended classes for days.

So I came to see him

in my free period.

He’s upstairs.

Could you please

explain to that professor?

Dian’s not feeling well

so I want him to rest for days.

Maybe he’s too tired

to forget to ask for leave.

OK.

I’ll say it to the professor.

If that’s all there is,

I gotta go.

Well,

how’s Lian?

Baoling didn’t say he has any troubles.

Don’t worry.

So I’m gonna go.

Dian,

what happened to you?

I’m finished.

Dian.

What’s up?

Well,

I just wanna remind you not to overwork.

Mom,

look at that girl.

She’s crying at that boy.

Stop looking around.

Papa is waiting for us.

[CLOSED]

Haven’t you finished yet?

Dian.

I bought some desserts.

Can we eat together?

Why do you wanna eat desserts

at this time?

Because it’ll

make people happy.

What’s going on?

Dian,

I know it.

You didn’t attend school.

What’s the problem

with your physics experiment?

Can you talk with me?

I don’t wanna talk about it today.

I beg you.

Dian.

I’m not pushing you.

I just wanna tell you,

No matter what happens,

I’ll be with you.

Something came up. I’m gonna go out.

Remember to have breakfast.

I’ll be right back.

Are you going to see Zhou Yao again?

One, two, three, four.

Practice by yourself.

Cheng,

do you think

this move is not…

[I’m sick.]

Today’s choreography

isn’t finished yet.

If I remember correctly,

it’s my day off today.

But my album release isn’t far off,

-so… -Today you can

practice by yourself.

As for those difficult parts, watch videos.

Cheng.

Hands off.

Why do you suddenly have a fever?

You’re back.

Get up. I’ll get you to the hospital.

No.

You’re my medicine.

Cut it out. I’m serious.

I’ll give you some medicine.

Will you leave later?

If you take medicine, I won’t go.

You promise.

[Zhou Yao]

Are you feeling better

after a shower?

Yes.

I asked Xuedong to cook some porridge for you.

You have to bundle up.

OK.

[Zhou Yao]

[Delete]

[Delete]

What are you doing?

Your phone fell.

I picked it up for you.

The porridge should be ready. Let’s go downstairs.

What’s wrong?

Why did you take a cold shower?

Don’t you have a fever?

Why did you hurt yourself?

I can explain.

I felt too hot so I took a cold shower.

It’s true.

The most important is

to keep his condition stable.

Because of his strong self-control,

the more intense his inner conflict is,

the worse his illness will be.

We have to try to

avoid his transition

from unconscious to intentional hurt.

Cheng.

Dian.

If you miss me,

you can call me back.

But, don’t hurt yourself. OK?

Are you still mad at me?

I’m not.

But it doesn’t mean I don’t care about you.

I wanna tell you,

you can tell me what you think directly,

not by hurting yourself.

Moreover,

don’t lie to me.

Cheng.

Cheng, you have a guest.

I’m not disturbing you, am I?

What are you doing here?

I texted you that

I come to practice with you.

Haven’t you read it?

Or

someone deleted it?
