[Once Given Never Forgotten Ep19]

If we sign the contract with iShang, that will be a win-win cooperation.

But if we sign it with Beloved,

we will be helping the poor.

In my opinion,

you are biased against Lianxin.

You have done thorough

research about iShang.

But you know nothing about Beloved.

You use your own supposition to make the judgment.

That's not how you usually do your work.

I just don't want her to hold you up anymore.

Then, let's do this.

I will arrange for you to have separate negotiations

with iShang and Beloved.

In the end, you can make the decision.

That should do.

I believe that

you will make

the most objective and fair decision.

All right. I promise you.

I will definitely

consider facts only without personal feelings.

That's the right thing to do.

Okay, I should go.

I...

I want minced pork congee with preserved egg.

I'll go buy it for you.

Don't. We've got everything in the fridge.

Can you make it for me?

For all these years,

you've never cooked for me when we are alone.

You know what?

The doctor already said today that

the patient must be kept in good spirit.

All right.

I'll cook for you. Take it as a reward.

[Beloved Shopping Platform]

Then, we have a deal.

Next Friday. Don't stand me up.

What are you doing, Taozi?

Don't you try to hit on Chen Qi.

Don't worry. He's not my type.

I am making an appointment with him for you.

I watched the concept video last time.

Not bad in general.

But I want to ask you to add several shots.

No problem.

I'll make another appointment with them.

By the way,

I gave Xiang Yuqiu a roughly edited version.

You don't mind, do you?

After all, you are discussing your cooperation.

It's much more convenient to watch the video than read some documents.

Why don't you take shooting as a side job?

Come to my company and be my assistant.

Don't you dare.

What's wrong with your hand?

I accidentally cut myself when cooking.

In my view,

what you need most now is a chef

to cook for yous.

I am my own chef. I don't anyone else.

Hello? What is it?

I just left Lianxin's company.

Her hand got injured.

Okay, I know.

It's you again.

What are you doing outside my apartment?

Why are you also here...

You are not living with Lianxin, aren't you?

Yeah, we live together.

What's your problem?

What are you...

Did you give him the address?

You just opened the door to a dangerous person.

You know that?

I am here to talk to you about our contract.

We can talk about business in the company.

This is our apartment. Are you...

Are you trying to do something to Lianxin?

I am talking to you.

Do you think I am invisible?

This is also my home.

Taozi.

Taozi,

go back to your room now.

I mean, Lianxin, you...

You don't know what happened between us.

All right.

Don't hide it.

I already saw it.

What did you see?

The cut on your hand.

Chen Qi told me.

Aren't you here to talk to me about business?

I just want to see how you have been doing.

Now you know. You can go.

Where are the sugar and salt?

They are used up.

Xiang Yuqiu.

Xiang Yuqiu.

Xiang Yuqiu, put it down.

Can you just go home?

I've eaten.

Instead of chasing me out,

why don't you go and prepare for the negotiation?

Negotiation?

Though I promised that I will work with you,

I still need to respect Tang Shi's opinion.

So, you are saying that

you want me to negotiate with her and persuade her?

It's business.

I believe that you will go.

Who are you to think that I will?

Many rising designers have

shown their interest in Beloved.

I already told Tang Shi that you will negotiate with her.

It's up to you.

You are going to leave in ten minutes.

I don't want to see you.

Lianxin, the food is ready. It's time to eat.

Lianxin.

Lianxin, wake up.

The food is ready.

Lianxin.

I don't have classes today. Let me have more sleep.

It's time to eat.

Don't forget to eat.

Xiang Yuqiu?

Su Xiao, let me borrow Chen Qi for a second.

Didn't he tell you?

Tell me what?

Never mind, it's nothing.

He's not here. Go find him in his studio.

Don't hide it. I already saw it.

This is the new bedding I bought.

It was sent to the wrong address.

If the address is wrong, how did you still get it?

Tell me, did you and Su Xiao...

Did you have a fight?

I was eating with a young model a few days ago

and she happened to see us.

That's all.

I mean, Chen Qi,

you have already got married.

Can you just dial it down a bit?

It's normal for a couple to fight.

We even fight over nothing.

It's good for our relationship.

You are not married. You don't understand.

Look at you,

are there any advances with Lianxin?

I went to her place and got kicked out.

I went to your place and got kicked out by Su Xiao.

Is Su Xiao home?

Of course.

It's so late.

Where else can she be?

Of course, I am happy

that you made up with Lianxin.

But you need to think about

how you think of her now.

We are only business partners.

Do any other clients go to their partner's place

and cook for them?

Don't change the subject.

We are talking about you.

Why are you asking about me?

I don't have much to say.

[Promotion&Sales Plan]

Online shopping websites

are getting more professional.

This is also a key of our marketing

to divide our customers into different groups.

Compared with the promotion

and sales plans of iShang,

yours don't have an edge.

In the past,

Ingenuity promotes its offline sales with its reputation and popularity.

iShang is a home-furnishing shopping platform

with a large scale and a diverse range of businesses.

Indeed, we can't compare with that.

But iShang can't provide precise positioning.

Its marketing strategies tend to be common and popularized.

If Ingenuity joins iShang,

it will only become one of the famous

furniture brands.

The customers may not choose you among

all the brands.

But Beloved focuses on original designs.

For every brand that joins us,

we will make promotions basing on

its brand concept

and give it an all-around package and design.

For example?

Its philosophy, price, and service

are all access points for creative marketing strategies.

In the early stage, we focus on a good customer experience.

After that, we focus on

the cooperation with some middle and large shopping sites.

This is of great importance.

Get all the documents ready.

Lianxin, congratulations!

You are my No.1 idol again.

You were so amazing just now.

Tang Shi couldn't even disagree with you.

I mean, you two were debating

so vigorously.

Just cut it out.

Did you walk them out?

I walked them to the parking lot.

Just rest assured.

I still know these basic manners.

Wait a minute.

I have something else to say.

Go ahead.

No.

Get out of my way.

I won't take the blame if I hurt you.

Go ahead.

I must abide by my promise.

What on earth did Luo Rui give you for it?

If I won't go,

are you going to tie me up

and send me over there?

That's a good idea.

But I think the delivery is going to cost a lot.

Cut it out.

We have a lot of things to deal with here.

There are always new problems.

You can go if you want to, but I don't have time.

I can go to award parties or ceremonies for you

but not Luo Rui's concert.

This is not a hot potato.

So many people can't have it even if they want to.

I'll be in charge of the business here.

If anything happens,

you can have a video meeting to guide me.

It's only two to three days.

Just be assured.

I won't do anything wrong.

You are forcing me, right?

I've got the ticket to the National Concert Tour

in Hangzhou of the pianist Luo Rui.

Does anyone want it?

I do! I want it!

I've loved him for a long time!

But I couldn't get the ticket.

I beg you. Please give it to me.

Here.

You wish!

Why aren't you working?

Why are you all here?

If you don't say yes,

Luo Rui said that I would be in trouble.

Why are you so nice to Luo Rui?

Who pays you at work?

I...I...

In fact, it's because Luo Rui's birthday is only a few days away.

I don't know what birthday gift to give him.

So, did you just sell me out?

How could it be selling you out?

Get out of my eyes in five seconds.

Don't...

Three seconds.

Miss Lian, Zero Design, the brand

we wanted to offer exclusively on our website,

just replied to us.

They expect you to go to Hangzhou

to talk about your cooperation in detail.

Miss Lian, this is your destiny.

Just accept it.

Stay with Luo Rui for his birthday.

I should go now.

You've finally got leisure time today.

You have to buy that for me.

All right.

Whatever you want.

It's over there. That's the store. See?

Where is it?

There.

Is it that one?

Yeah, that's the one.

I love that bracelet. It's really nice.

I really like that bracelet.

You mean that one, right?

Yeah.

Does it look good on me?

Let me have a look.

This one is nice.

What is it?

Nothing.

Did you enjoy it today?

Sure, I bought a ring with such a large diamond for you.

Thank you.

Thank you for today.

You are welcome.

All right. Call me if you need anything.

See you.

See you.

Sit tight.

Today, we are going to have a meeting.

I want to talk about Xiang's problems in particular.

About you,

if you meet with any problem,

you should learn from Miss Tang.

Look at Miss Tang, she's so generous.

But look at you, so petty.

What do you expect to achieve...

What is going on?

Feeling like a child again?

I thought you didn't like cartoons.

What's happened recently?

Stop talking about cartoons, will you?

It makes me so upset.

Let's talk about something serious.

I intend to find sometime later to go to

the mountains and get some timber.

Sure. I'll go with you.

You are our director.

It's been very busy in the company.

Do you think you can just leave?

You've got a good point.

Then, when will you go?

After we sign the contract with Beloved.

But the weather has been unfavorable.

That's why I need to go.

The woods will rot if they are left in the mountains for too long.

Shitou talked to me about it many times.

All right, I know.

About today,

thank you.

You thank me?

Did you hear that?

Such a famous designer just thanked me.

How do I deserve it?

But you are also right.

My presumption affected me.

But Lianxin's performance

truly changed my view.

So, to sign the contract with Beloved

is my decision after overall consideration.

After all, I am your boss.

I promised that I would be fair and objective.

I must stick to my words.

Thank you, boss.

It's so generous of you.

Xiang, keep on working.

You can go.

Sure, boss.

Xiang...

What are you doing here?

Are you disappointed that the person you expected to see didn't come?

Have a look. See if there is any problem with the contract.

Wait a second.

Give this to Lianxin for me.

A bus ticket.

Do you want to ask Lianxin out for a trip?

It's too late.

She went to Hangzhou with Luo Rui.

What is this place?

Your home?

Put it down.

Why are you so mean? It's just a shabby house.

The shabby house you talked about

was also home to Lianxin.

That's in the past.

She has nothing to do with you now.

I warn you.

It's just business.

Don't you dare do anything

to Lianxin again.

Otherwise, I...

I know.

Why don't you get angry

no matter what I say?

You're just like the wood.

Your repulsion to me

only shows how much you care about Lianxin.

I can tell that

you are a friend she trusts very much.

Good that you know.

Thank you for taking care of Lianxin for so many years.

Hello?

A burglary?

Did you get hurt?

I lost nothing.

But my house got ruined.

Have you seen a burglary like this?

Maybe it's personal?

You didn't film any

privacy of some big names, did you?

I am not a paparazzi, man.

Chen Qi, do you have any work ethics?

How can you take up a job like this?

Did you just know me?

Am I that kind of person?

Then, what's this all about?

It just makes me angry.

A model from Hong Kong

used to ask me to take her pictures.

She got a model boyfriend.

And the pictures were taken by this man.

However, her husband found out about it.

So, they pinned it on me.

Didn't they just frame me up?

I mean...

Did she warn you about it in advance?

Sure. Five minutes earlier.

Did it work? Look at where we are now.

Besides,

even if she had warned me in advance,

I wouldn't have just watched her

do that and taken the blame.

This is about the reputation of my studio.

How am I going to continue to work in the photography industry?

Fine.

What's done has been done.

You can either call the police

or talk to her husband

and explain the whole thing.

Her husband is in Hong Kong.

I can't reach him for now.

All right.

Help me

clean up my studio first.

What's all this?

Take it.

[Divorce Certificate]

Divorce?

Tell me, when is it?

Long ago.

Chen Qi, I thought we were brothers.

Why did you even hide it from me?

It's not something good. Why would I tell you about it?

What happened?

Who proposed it?

Does it matter?

We already got divorced.

Besides,

she is going to get married.

Why would I care about that?

Get married?

Are you obsessed

with quick marriages?

I thought Su Xiao wasn't such an impulsive person.

I didn't believe it when she told me about it.

Today,

I saw her go to buy rings with that man.

In the world,

we can still live our lives without others.

That man is an investment banker.

He seems quite reliable.

She loved you so much.

But now she is going to marry someone else.

Don't you think it's strange?

Yeah, she used to like me so much.

She admired me and loved me.

I don't think I will

find anyone else

who can love me like her.

You know,

If I have met her first and fallen in love with her,

how great would it be?

Are you still in love with Tang Shi?

I thought I could move on.

I can't give Su Xiao the same kind of love.

So, I can't be selfish make her be with me.

She deserves better.

All right.

Go pack your things and come with me.

To where?

Go home.

Do you really plan to stay here for one more night?

He might get back and beat you up.

I don't think so. I don't want to live with you.

My studio is big and nice.

When you went to my place and ate whatever you wanted,

why didn't you show your politeness?

I am doing this for you.

I am quite emotional now that I just got divorced.

I don't want to disturb you.

Do you really plan to sleep

here in this dumpster?

Of course, no.

Happy birthday.

I thought you forgot about it.

How could I?

Your fans are all celebrating your birthday.

It's hard to forget about it.

Open it when you get back.

All right.

I haven't seen you for a long time.

Didn't you even miss me?

If Julia hears about this,

she's going to get mad again.

No, she won't.

Then, you don't know women.

We broke up.

Why?

Did you ever have this feeling?

When you eat the cake after you taste the lemon,

the cake doesn't taste that sweet.

For some people,

the lemon is sour but unforgettable.

The cake is sweet but not what they enjoy the most.

But your teeth get set on edge if you eat too much lemon.

I'd love to have that.

All right. I won't force you.

How is your company?

In these few hours we met,

I might lose hundreds of millions.

I feel quite flattered that you came.

Luckily, I also prepared you a gift.

What gift?

This pair of chairs are nice.

But I don't want them.

My personality is more suitable

with wooden furniture.

The cabinet is nice. I'll consider it.

As for this,

this one is also nice. Put it in my list.

What else?

This one is also nice.

Besides,

I also like the furniture in your office.

Come on.

Chen Qi.

Someone just said that he wanted to buy me some furniture.

Now, he regrets it.

I didn't know you would just ask for everything.

I don't care. A promise is a promise.

Xiang Yuqiu.

What?

It turns out that you wanted to work with Beloved long ago.

Do you think I really don't care about Lianxin?

I registered on her website in Spain long ago.

You are so terrible.

By the way...

If you don't have anything,

go to the studio more often.

I'm afraid Tang Shi may not be able to cope with it alone.

Why would I do that? I'm not your assistant.

Do you pay me for it?

Didn't you just ask for a lot of furniture?

That's the payment.

You are so terrible.

Xiang Yuqiu.

Tang Shi?

What is Tang Shi doing here?

How would I know?

I can't see her right now.

Why?

I have been pretending

to be cool and steady before her,

if she knows I got divorced,

my pretence will be in vain.

I acted like a cool and calm man in front of her.

I can't have my image ruined.

He's crazy.

What were you doing? It took you so long.

What are you doing here?

The auction house just called me.

Sit down.

They said that

the sales confirmation of your floor lamp

has been signed.

But no one has ever come to the storage to pick it up.

Do you know who bought it?

Okay, I know.

Do you have anything else?

I just miss you.

I will be with you tonight.

To enjoy the stars with you.

What are you doing?

Are you all right?

Why do I think you

have been acting awkwardly

since Lianxin got back from Spain?

Do you have wine?

No.

Why do you act just like Chen Qi?

In fact, I came here to talk to you.

We can talk about it tomorrow.

It's not a good time today.

I have a living thing here.

If you don't go now,

I'm afraid that thing will be anxious.

What living thing?

A stray dog.

Don't try to change the subject.

Lianxin wasn't here before.

I always thought that

one day,

I will be able to move you.

But now Lianxin is back.

I just want to ask you

if you have also fallen for her.

In my mind,

Lianxin will always be my family.

And you will always be my friend.

Don't think about it anymore.

But you don't understand.

I am really scared.

I'm scared that I might lose...

What was that sound?

It was nothing. You misheard it.

Did anyone just get in?

No, you think too much.

Didn't I tell you that

it's a stray dog. It's a big one.

It's a Pekingese.

Chen Qi?

What's with your head?

I just had a fight with a stray dog.

Where is the dog?

It jumped out of the window.

Xiang Yuqiu, have you thought it through?

You can only choose one of them, Tang Shi or Lianxin.

Chen Qi, let go. This is my cup.

A man who was hurt before is so scary.

I know you don't have feelings for Tang Shi.

Stay away from her.

Otherwise, I will bite you.

Why are you staring at me?

I spent three days making the cup.

Let it go.

I won't.

Chen Qi, you are dead.

No furniture for you.

It doesn't matter. I can buy it myself.

I've got money.

Are you two playing house here?

Can you stop being so childish?

You don't know about the war between men.

I should go sleep in my studio tonight.

I don't want to disturb you.

Have you cleaned it up? Is it safe to live there?

Doesn't he have a home? Is he homeless?

Have you ever got married?

Do you know how a couple get along with each other?

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

All right. It's pretty late.

Chen Qi, send Tang Shi home.

No.

I won't go.

You know what?

If you don't send her home,

you are not going to get in bed tonight.

I mean, you can only sleep on the couch.

Never mind. I should just shut up.

Then, couch it is. Who cares?

All right. I've made it clear with you.

We should put our focus on work after this.

Xiang Yuqiu.

Hello, any news?

Has anyone seen it?

Please keep looking.

Inform me if you have any news.

Bye-bye.

My friend over there,

please walk faster if you want me to take you home.

I need to work tomorrow.

So, I need to get home earlier.

Sure.

Do you remember when you told me that

you never liked dancing?

Of course, I remember it.

You said that

you wanted to be a pianist.

I really miss that time.

I mean, I miss you.

♫ When you looked back, I saw your smile ♫

♫ So many feelings in my mind ♫

♫ I loved you without letting you know ♫

♫ It's what my life is destined to be ♫

♫ You are a river that runs backwards ♫

♫ You ran away the moment we met ♫

♫ I couldn't make you stay ♫

♫ I watched you go in a distance ♫

♫ I'd rather be the silent stone ♫

♫ waiting for you to come home ♫

♫ I cried and after that ♫

♫ I watched you go ♫

♫ with nothing to hold ♫

♫ Have you ever seen ♫

♫ this silent stone ♫

♫ As the brow ceases frowning ♫

♫ The heart begins aching ♫

♫ At a certain moment ♫

What? Do you hate me to leave?

Lianxin, the song I sang last night

means what I want to say.

Right.

Legally speaking, I am your sister.

So, my last name is Luo.

Lianxin, that's not what I mean.

That's pretty much it.

I should go. See you in Shanghai.

Why are you so quiet? It's not like you.

What is it?

You are not sick, are you?

It's fine.

About Xiang Yuqiu...

What kind of a person exactly is he?

You and Luo Rui always avoided talking about him.

The only thing I know is that

he hurt you before.

Why did you bring him up all of a sudden?

I just suddenly feel that

he is not so bad a person.

During the two days I was away,

what did he say that got into your head?

It's just...

It's a feeling.

What feeling?

I think he actually likes you.

No, he loves you so deeply.

How is that possible?

When he ran away,

it was like he was fleeing from a plague.

Even if he doesn't have feelings for you,

I think he cares about you.

Look how coldly you treat him now.

But when he talked to me about you,

he didn't say Lianxin

but "our Lianxin".

He told me,

"Thank you for

taking care of Lianxin for so many years."

Stop looking for him. He's not here.

Then, what are you doing here?

I'm guarding the house.

Where is he?

Look at you.

When you get to see him,

you just ignore him.

But when he is away,

you come to find him yourself.

I...

I only came to talk to him about business.

Aren't you sharing the same mind?

Both of you are so stubborn

and won't give each other a way out.

Now that he's not here,

I should go.

He went to the mountain to get the timber.

He went to the mountain?

It's been raining heavily. There might be landslides.

Why did he choose such a time?

He is so stupid.

This is a draft he just finished.

It's called the Beloved Collection.

You just signed the contract

and he went to the mountain to collect the timber.

He is one of our designers now.

This is what he is supposed to do.

Sure.

But you also know that

Xiang Yuqiu is a person who is fully devoted to his work.

He broke his leg last time he went to the mountain

and lied in bed for a month.

What's worse is that

there is said to be heavy rain in the mountain.

It could be dangerous.

I think now, he...

He usually lives in the mill in the mountain for a night.

Don't drive there. You will get lost.

Xiang Yuqiu,

don't thank me too much.

Hello,

I want to know how to get to the mill in the mountain?

It's blocked in the front. You won't be able to pass.

Is there any other road I can take to get there?

There is a bypath over there.

But the weather has been terrible.

You can't drive on the path if it rains.

Come back later.

Never mind. I can do it.

Thank you.

Thank you so much.

The car can even do that?

What kind of car is it?

It's a jeep.

You've never seen such a nice car before?

Hello?

Have you got my surprise?

What surprise?

What's that tone?

I only told Lianxin because she was worried about you.

Did Lianxin come here?

Just tell me how you are going to

thank me if you make up.

Hello?

Hello?

Xiang Yuqiu, you are so ungrateful.

If this happens again,

I won't help you anymore.

Let's see what you can do.
