My mind does not find peace.

He is looking for a way out of the darkness.

I think of the roads I could choose.

About the signs that I did not see.

Before me is a myriad of roads.

But they all lead me

in the same place.

Good morning. Good morning.

Do you know what people cook in the kitchen?

Well, yes, I read about it somewhere.

Where's the coffee? He is there.

If I were you, I wouldn't risk it.

Still alive. Okay.

You was right. Dominic's lawyer pulled Carrie out of prison.

How do you know? He himself admitted.

He said he wanted to protect me.

And do you believe him?

Did he kill Edward?

Be careful.

If he was following you, he could find out that you are here.

I did not follow. Are you sure?

What will you do? Papers with Ed notes.

I need them. They were taken by the police.

I know, but the only way I understand why they killed Ed.

I have to go. Good.

Today at one o’clock in the morning, UBS contacted the City of London police.

Kveku Adoboli was arrested this morning.

City lacked only the trader’s accusations of fraud.

He would like to stay in the old school. His old school is a dangerous place.

And his new one is damn expensive.

Why money if you don’t spend it, Toy?

You have been spending too much lately.

What could be more important than bros?

I love you, Oliver Harris. Yes?

I still like you too. Yes?

Wait a minute, I'll replenish the card.

Good morning sir.

Is everything okay?

Yes.

Come on.

Hey! Look here! Here! Just one photo!

Something happened to my pass. Come with me.

And what? Something is wrong? Come with me.

So what's going on? Wait with the rest.

Did you see the news in the morning?

Someone from UBS was arrested for concealing risky transactions.

Yes, we have seen. We did the same!

Relax. Sooner or later we will find out.

Well yes, relax. You will get fired.

But I changed VAR.

They can arrest me! And show in the news!

You are too small a bipod for news.

They will uplift Massimo in public, and we will hang out next.

Has anyone understood why we are here?

We faked VAR. I knew you were smart, Oliver.

But how did they find out? It was a trap.

And you fell into it.

And who arranged it?

You four go with me.

What the hell are you here for?

Chris will soon be my deputy.

Congratulations. Thanks, Eleanor.

Paul McGinan will lead the trading department.

Massimo is his boss! And Paul doesn’t even work here!

Paul was taken back. Massimo was the boss.

From this moment he is an ordinary trader.

Have questions? Yes.

What the hell?

Kalim wanted to say

that Paul is a good trader, but he cannot compare with Massimo.

No one compares. You heard Mr. Morgan.

So they don’t fire us?

Not yet, but the day has just begun.

You will not leave us?

Why didn't you fire me? So you crap loot elsewhere?

You think I won’t leave myself? If you leave, I will condemn you.

It's not my fault. Your team is guilty.

Why are you doing this? What for?

You left me no choice! Threw one fortress after another.

Did you really think that I would close my eyes to...

I’m not your boy. You will go and earn me money.

In time, you will return your position.

Nick? Hi Sofia.

Similar crimes can be repeated,

since bankers are forced to make a profit...

How bad is the situation in European markets?

Perhaps we are witnessing the beginning of a new crisis?

Hi Sol, where is he?

The future of the next generation.

This story is with UBS on all channels! You did a great job.

Apparently, like you.

Turn off the recording.

Your dedication delights... So shut up!

Turn off the computer when doing something similar!

Do not you know!

And now what?

Apparently, our Italian friend finally trusts you.

I think yes. So it's time to devote it to business.

Yes, but first he needs to be given what he asks.

I... I did not want to take your place.

Only in this way could I return. I need a job. You fired me.

Well, good luck, Paul.

I know I'm not as good as you.

Everyone knows that.

I have to say something. No, give him time.

Oliver!

What?

I was just scared that they would put me in jail.

Previously, you had to think.

Yes, I know, just now my brother is going to a new school and...

I wanted to shit on your brother.

Then I will return to work. Yes, go ahead.

Due to one of the charges, Duvall went on the run, right?

Insider trading.

The accusation of divulging state secrets is much more serious.

Therefore, the United States, Great Britain, Germany and Switzerland -

all issued warrants for his arrest.

My favorite Italian. How are you, Massimo?

Fine. I have more work for you.

You know, I like to work.

I want you to find everything you can

to Sabterrania activist Sofia Flores.

Sophia Flores. Okay, I’ll do it.

You are not very happy to see me.

I did not expect you, that’s all.

I do not for a long time.

Did Dominic send you?

I heard what happened and I'm sorry.

And no, I wanted to see you.

What for? Your war must end.

Until you have done what you regret.

He's manipulating you. Dominic is manipulating everyone.

Do you think he made Carrie leave you?

But I asked her.

For you.

I don't want to hear that. Do you know why she listened to me?

Because I loved you. I, I...

She left because she knew that you would be better off in the world of Dominic.

What the hell are you talking about?

And why are you saying this just now?

So you live on.

As I had to.

Your wife is dead. My son is dead.

We must live on.

Together. You better leave.

Go away

Cool track! Really shakes?

Who's that? Is your brother there?

My boss could get you some Ed Stewart papers.

What does he want in return?

So you become his man in NYL.

You think I'm thirsty to spy on a group of anarchists?

Dominic dropped you today.

Rumors quickly disperse.

You represent a danger to him.

He could fire you.

You need these papers.

Agreed.

I will tell him. Under one condition:

We must meet in person.

What for?

I will trust this person my life.

I want to understand who I'm dealing with.

You ask for a lot. Like him.

Silence! Silence! Get back in line!

Do what I ask, otherwise they won’t take care of your business!

First, take the electronic queue number,

the machine is over there.

When they call your number, come and tell us about your problem.

Clear? Yes! Clear.

I thought your visa was okay, Mr. Ruggiero.

I need to talk to you.

Because of you, I was demoted and transferred.

I didn’t want that, I'm sorry.

Say why you came, and get out.

You were right. Ed Stewart didn’t kill himself.

Thank! But I already knew that.

But it was not me who killed him. Help me find the killer.

Sounds like I can help? Ed Documents.

I have to see them.

Is this Ed Stewart's writing? Massimo Ruggiero. Massimo Ruggiero.

Massimo Ruggiero. Massimo Ruggiero.

I look, you do not take arrogance.

Give me the papers, and I'll give you something in return. More precisely, someone.

Not interested. Daniel Duvall.

Press it - return your position.

Maybe you’ll even be promoted.

How do you know Daniel Duvall?

I sleep with his assistant.

Hit her in the back?

Daniel Duvall in exchange for those papers.

Good morning. I spoke with Duval.

He is ready to meet. In the evening I will inform you of the time and place.

Agreed. So we are definitely on the same side.

Apparently so.

He got in touch with the wrong people and got involved in criminal matters.

The US is moving towards a protracted recession.

Experts advise the government... Where have you been all morning?

Paul put me in the freezer. Freezer?

Yes, to the electronic trading floor. New powerful servers

work at a temperature not exceeding two degrees.

And he gave me Southern Europe. Depression and stagnation.

But he didn’t give me anything. Is this an alarming sign?

Without a doubt. You're in the ass! That's bad...

Mr. Harris? Mr. Morgan is waiting for you. Right now.

Mr. Morgan? What for?

Mr. Morgan does not like to wait. Come on.

In theory, a single currency favors investment,

low interest rates, competition...

Just like a dollar in the States. Euro is not a dollar.

There is no financial or political unity in the Eurozone.

California is the seventh largest economy in the world.

If she went bankrupt

the US government would come to her aid.

Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Ireland -

they have fewer resources than California, but they are in shit.

And who will come to their aid?

But the euro is popular.

People think it balances the dollar.

The Euro and the European Union are dogma.

And you can challenge it, you can change its perception.

The only question is - how?

Well?

Have you calculated the total salary of everyone in this office?

How to explain to people

why these countries are just useless trash.

Mr. Harris?

This is your chance to show

why Massimo considers you promising.

I beg.

Hello.

Can? Yes, please.

PIGS. What?

Portugal, Ireland,

Greece, Spain.

PIGS.

All these countries have

disgusting amounts of debt,

sloppy state budgets. Pigs.

Well, firstly, you forgot about Italy.

So let there be two "And." I do not understand.

If you call them that, they will not get better.

This may affect public opinion.

Oliver, you're really cool.

OK, you can submit a report on Pigs.

By the end of today? Yes of course.

Super. Come on! Get back to work.

Fine. Very well.

Hey. We can meet?

At me, in half an hour. See you later.

Please guys. Thank.

Hi Sam. Vic! What are the fates?

I'm a little tired of yelling at people. Yeah.

I decided to stop by and say hello to an old friend.

Yes, I am always glad to see you, but my shift has come to an end.

Hold on a minute, okay?

What?

I need to look at the evidence in the Stuart case.

Sorry, you know the rules.

And you’re no longer working on a case.

I just forgot to make a copy of one paper.

Make a copy of the evidence -

it’s not quite according to the rules.

You already forgot how last year I forgot about the rules in your account.

Only a couple of grams disappeared, and then only once.

Now I'm clean. I fastened.

Remember then the rules, you would not work here.

Looks like your Miss Flores was being watched by our friends from Interpol.

Mostly because of ties to Sabterrania.

AND? Have a drink?

Oh yes. Will you have whiskey?

And pour yourself. You also want when you hear everything.

Long list. Where to begin?

Start from the beginning. Good.

Her parents died in a car accident in Buenos Aires when she was seven.

Then her brother, Ramiro, took care of her.

He had a small production. Thank.

Until two thousand and one...

Return my money! Ramiro went bankrupt.

No!

And she had to live on the street.

Heck.

He said it was a sad story. What did she live for?

Like other desperate girls. So she met Duval.

At that time he was an economist,

flew to Buenos Aires for a conference.

His marriage has just broken up.

And he lost his place in college.

How old was she? Sixteen, maybe seventeen.

Did he sleep with her?

No idea.

Duval just founded Sabterrania when Sofia entered the university,

and he paid for his studies. She received an honors degree.

Since then they travel the world and expose bankers

and hedge fund managers. Now aiming at you.

Probably. May I pick it up?

Of course. Fine.

Come in.

This is the report that Mr. Morgan requested.

Oh... pigs.

You doused them with mud? Doused, sir. One dirt.

Super! Come on, drink something.

What now? After all, only five hours.

We just have to be in time. Where to catch?

I told clients that you are shorting Spanish banks.

AND? They abut. - Wait.

When the banks begin to roll in, customers will come back to you smarter

followed by the rest. Keep shorting?

Yes. Where is Kalim? In the freezer.

Bring him to me as soon as you can.

Good. Thank.

Massimo... Hello.

Thank god you called me. I chilled to the bones.

I want to find old folders. I'm afraid we did not digitize them.

Ok, which ones?

On the bankruptcy of De Rosa Bank in Argentina in 2001.

Yes! I remember what happened then. Truth?

A small bank, five billion dollars in assets,

one of the three that fell on the seventh of March 2001.

Almost sure it was Wednesday.

Why do you remember all this? Massimo, have you really forgotten about this?

About what?

We bought all non-working assets of the bank.

That was your idea.

We bought all the non-performing assets of the banks of the Mercosur block,

and dofiga earned it.

We destroyed the borrowers. Shit happens. But that was cool.

We have earned five hundred million dollars!

Rivers of champagne flowed that day.

Everyone went home, dancing.

And you got a prize from Dominic - the brand new Porsche. Do you remember?

Yes.

I don’t know about you, but I need a drink. I'm with you.

Massimo, what do you say? Our turn to treat.

I still have to work.

Come on. Okay. Come on.

Let's go. - Till! See you later!

We do not need this at all! We asked for something else!

We do not need hunger, we do not need poverty!

We did not apply to the International Monetary Fund.

Argentina! Argentina!

Emma. Home in the house.

We are together again.

How much is enough for us - hell knows!

Do you have anybody?

Yes, I have a girlfriend. Latoya.

Latoya is a wonderful name. Do not offend her and do not mow.

Yes, you are just lucky today.

You won’t get off for a long time.

Understand. I have no illusions.

Okay, I’ll go out. I'll be back soon.

Just don’t mess with this guy, otherwise you will end up in a monkey house!

Hey. Are you sucking on a new boss?

If not for Massimo, you would still have passed exams for others.

If not for the two of you, Massimo would have been the boss.

And if not... Forget it.

Detective?

I know the time and place.

Remember my former workmate, Sergeant Winx?

Mr. Ruggiero. Do you have documents?

Get them when we take Duval.

We value your service to the community, Mr. Ruggiero.

Help in catching two fugitives.

Two? Yes.

If your girlfriend was hiding Duval, she is his accomplice.

They both go to jail for a very long time.

Really wonderful?

To side with the law, at least once.

Did you really get him the documents?

I have them.

But how?

Do not ask.

If we take Duval, do you really give them away?

We will see.

And if he does not surrender Duvall?

We are already at the bottom. Without Duval, we will remain there.

The address has changed. Bankside Pier.

What the hell is he doing?! More likely! Come on! Faster!

Get out of the way faster!

Do not lose it, Henry!

Come on, come on, come on!

He is there, there!

You cannot keep up with him on this car.

Faster, faster, faster!

He is waiting for us on board. Hey.

What? “You need to run.” What?

What are you talking about? The police are coming here.

They promised me to give evidence in exchange for Duval.

I'm sorry you have to run. Forgive me. Go away.

Don't you dare touch me!

What are you doing? And where is Duval?

He did not come. What do you mean, didn’t come?

I'm sorry.

But I need these documents. Highly.

Then it was worth fulfilling its part of the transaction.

Come, Henry, back to the bottom.

Your mother...

You should invest better in security.

I can call the police.

You already called them in the morning

when they visited Detective Bale at the immigration center.

You weren’t on that boat, right?

You know, we are very similar. Nothing in common.

I used to be an economist,

consultant to international corporations.

Oh really? We acted like this:

Found an underdeveloped country that had something valuable,

for example, gold and even rubber.

Then I convinced this country

to take huge loans from the World Bank for development.

Only the country has not seen this money.

They went to my real customers - contractors.

In fact, we took the money and left the country in debt.

And then - picking up her resources was just as easy,

how to take candy from a child.

I was a killer. Economic killer.

I was killing people

without weapons.

I do not kill people. Just like you kill, Massimo.

Kill. Such as brother Sofia.

You are only a pawn in a dishonest game,

where the poor get poorer and the rich get richer.

But this bubble will burst soon.

Earlier than you think.

And then it is better to be on the side of the winners.

How many peasants did you put Sofia into bed?

How many? What does it mean - how much?

As far as I know,

she slept with you of her own free will.

But perhaps human desires are alien to you.

You know how to find me.

This is the most serious law.

About unauthorized trade in British history.

And again to the news of "Sabterrania" -

an underground organization founded by Daniel Duvall.

The purpose of the organization, according to its founder, is

Exposing the fraud of governments, banks and corporations...

Here's a secret report, an internal study from NYL,

one of the largest banks in the city.

So what is PIIGS? And what does the pig have to do with it?

In fact, these are the countries of Europe:

Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Spain. Plus Italy.

Insiders in the financial sector call them pigs for slaughter.

This is my report. Your mother... Why are they called pigs for slaughter?

Because they have poor fundamentals.

And they take the last from the economy of Northern Europe.

You just waste your time!

You do what you don’t like,

to continue another hated occupation!

Watch the news, Margaret.

Yes? Is there something good there?

Someone leaked the press one secret report.

Now everyone is talking about pigs.

Fine! But I also have news,

and they are bad. Tell me.

"Standard & Poor’s" is going to downgrade the US government debt rating.

They withdraw the AAA rating from the Treasury.

They will not dare!

We’ll have to act faster than we planned,

and this administration will not help us.

Our friend from Reintaler Bank will not be happy.

We have been cussing with them for too long.

I’ll deal with everything. Thanks, House. I was hoping for it.

I didn’t think that I would see you again.

Why did you change your mind?

Why didn’t you just finish the job?

Because I think

you have to work for me.

Already worked. Corrected your jamb.

Papers by Edward Stewart? Yeah.

How did you get them? Penetrated Detective Bale’s apartment.

She will see that they are gone. Shit happens.

Yes.

Let's figure it out.

They claim that the cause of the crisis is terrible pigs!

Well, you know, PIIGS? What other PIIGS?

Financial markets are shaking from a group of European countries.

Called PIIGS. Or, otherwise, "Pigs."

The idea of Eurobonds is supported

representatives of the so-called PIIGS countries,

Let me remind you, these are Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain.

"Pigs."

"Pigs."

Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Spain. We are all pigs.
