- Whoa. This can't be good.

Kim, come look! You have to come see this!

- Wow! You have really dry skin.

You should probably moisturize.

- No, no, they were black, from the leaves.

The leaves turned to ashes

when they fell from the tree and...

disappeared?

That's weird.

- It's a tree. Trees lose leaves.

Come on, let's get back to the room.

You need that moisturizer stat.

- RUBY: Out with it, book.

How do I get to the hidden room?

Guys, it seems like our little pal here

doesn't wanna talk.

I think it's time to make things...uncomfortable.

Shrink the bubble.

- ETHAN: This is what you get for causing us trouble...

- EMILY: ...now it's time to shrink that bubble.

[powers zapping]

- Ready to talk?

How will you protect your precious Andi

if you get kicked out of the Academy?

Pop the bubble.

- [bubble pops]

- Wait? What's this?

These aren't even spells-- just names of spells.

A Hidden Discovery Spell.

But where do I get it?

- Ruby, why do you want to

get into that hidden room so badly anyway?

- Because...there...

there was an ancient Winning Spell written on the wall.

But just as I was putting it into my phone,

I got tele-transported out.

If we get it, we could win every single assignment.

- What if we get caught?

- There's no way we could get caught.

Look, right underneath the Winning Spell

was a "We'll Never Get Caught Doing Anything Bad" Spell.

Tracks covered. Totally fine.

Let's go. Hex is coming with us.

- Won't Andi get suspicious that he's gone?

- We'll just chalk it up to a great mystery of the Realm.

- Where are we gonna hide him?

- Some place where he'll always be close to me.

And he'll never escape.

- * It must be magic

* It's happenin'

* Some crazy things

* I can't do this without you *

* Just keep your W.I.T.S. about you *

* It must be magic

* Look what we're doing here *

* There's something brewing here *

* It must be magic

* We got that spirit here

* We'll never disappear

* It must be

* It must be magic *

- EMILY: Where do you want him?

- Ethan, make something escape-proof.

- Create a perfect hiding place,

inside this metal suitcase! [powers zapping]

- Curfew!

- It's Cameron. Hurry!

- [heavy thud] - ETHAN: Ow!

- [knocking on door]

- CAMERON: Ruby, are you okay in there?

- Will you two hurry up.

- We're going as fast as we can.

- [knocking on door] - RUBY: I'm fine.

- CAMERON: Ruby, what's going on in there?

Do you need my assistance?

Knock one for yes, twice for no.

- This needs to end before I fall.

Now stick this book to the wall!

[powers zapping]

- CAMERON: Ruby? - RUBY: Uh...

- CAMERON: You okay in there?

Ruby?

[knocking urgently]

- I'm fine. The door seems to be a little stuck.

- Stand back. I'll get you out.

- [heavy thud] - CAMERON: [groaning]

It's harder than I thought.

Okay. Okay, let's go. [groaning]

It's Ruby we're talking about.

Oh, okay. [taking deep breaths]

Don't worry, Ruby.

I'll never let anything happen to you.

I'll save you! I'm coming!

- *

- CAMERON: [thuds heavily]

What are you guys doing in here?

- We were playing a game of...

of...Do What Ruby Says.

- Can I play it?

- You know, it's been a long day.

We can play again tomorrow. - CAMERON: Okay.

- Great work.

Remember, the key to being a good WIT is listening.

What are you doing?

You're still standing here.

- *

- Ruby says leave? - Ah...

- [Hex rattling suitcase]

- Ruby says leave! Ruby says get out now!

- Have you seen my Spell-O-Vision lens?

It was right here yesterday. - No.

- This is crazy!

- I'm gonna go check up on my WITs.

You know, Blockers starts--

- *

- Hey, have you seen Hex? - Who?

- Never mind.

- *

- KIM & ANDI: [groaning]

Where could it be?

- Hey, you know what? He's probably with Jessie.

Yeah, I mean, where else would he--

Oh, the library.

That little Casanova!

- Hey, Ben, mind if I join you?

- Sure.

- Listen, I wanted to talk to you about yesterday.

Things got a little out of hand

and I'm sorry you got hurt.

- You know, Luke, that makes me feel better.

Thanks.

- How's the wrist?

- Actually, much better.

Look. - Wow.

A lot better. [laughing]

- Sorry.

- It's totally cool.

Listen, I still want to make this up to you.

Sean, Gracie and I were wondering if maybe

you'd like to practice Blockers with us?

- Really? - Yeah.

And now that your wrist is feeling better,

we would love to have you.

What do you say? - Let's do it!

- Hey, Ruby, Cameron says,

"What's the deal with Ruby Says?"

Ruby says, "I got my game face on."

"Let's play!" [snapping fingers]

- [clearing throat]

- Uh, Cameron says "Hi!"

Mmmm...are you okay?

- Just a little stressed.

- Is it Blockers?

'Cause if it is, I know you'll do great.

- Have you ever spent so much time looking for something,

you doubt if it really exists?

- Wow, that's deep.

- I've searched the RealmNet,

read every book in the library,

scanned the Academy newspaper archives...

nothing.

- Well, maybe I can help?

- Unless you have a road map

to a Hidden Discovery Spell, I doubt it.

- Hm, those are very rare.

- Tell me about it.

- In fact, they're so rare,

Agamemnon keeps his locked in a cabinet.

- Cabinet? What cabinet?

- The one in his office.

- How can he keep a spell locked in a cabinet?

- The school keeps them in canisters

because they're very special--

even dangerous-- in the wrong hands.

- JESSIE: [powers zapping]

- Jessie! - [blocks collapse]

- Try not to do that during the Blockers Final.

- We have an emergency.

[quietly] Hex is missing.

- Missing? What do you mean "missing"?

You're supposed to be responsible for him.

- I know.

Hex doesn't know the Academy grounds.

He could be lost or stuck somewhere.

- The library!

He could be hanging out with that atlas he likes.

- I already checked.

Those books were very uncooperative.

- We have to find him.

You're the Guardian.

Come up with a Guardian game plan thingy.

- Okay, okay, uh... well, let's split up.

We'll cover more ground that way.

- Gotcha!

- *

- This is an emergency!

- *

- AGAMEMNON: Miss Cruz!

May I ask what, pray tell, you are looking for?

- May I ask, pray tell, what you're wearing?

- Oh, I was in the midst of my daily meditation

when I heard of a student terrorizing the halls.

- Sorry, I had to ask. I gotta go. Bye!

You look great in red, by the way.

- Oh?

Thank you.

- [Hex rattling suitcase]

- We've looked everywhere.

- CAMERON ANNOUNCING: Attention, students!

The Blockers Final Examinations will begin in 30 minutes.

That's 30 minutes.

Treinta minutos hasta examenes de Blockers--

- AGAMEMNON: Cameron!

- We have to get ready.

We'll keep looking for him afterwards.

- Okay. Where's Ben?

- Whoa, what is this?

- My new practice method.

Learning is supposed to be fun, right?

So, I thought to myself, practicing should be fun, too.

- My mom says that carnivals are a breeding ground for germs.

- I promise there are no germs here.

Just us and tons of fun.

All right, guys, keep bouncing,

but while you do, I want you and Ben

to stack these milk bottles with your magic.

- GRACIE: This is really gonna be something.

Now build me a pyramid while I'm jumping!

[powers zapping]

- LUKE: Great first test. - Sweet!

- Excellent, Gracie. Your turn, Ben.

- Build these bottles way up high,

while I jump into the sky!

[powers zapping]

I did it!

- SEAN: What do I do?

- You get to knock 'em down.

- I think he meant with your magic.

- It's okay. Let's try something else.

- *

- I want you to shoot both balls at the same time.

- Gotcha.

- With your magic.

- SEAN & BEN: Let's make it a swish

with this basketball wish! [powers zapping]

- [sirens wailing] - It worked!

- [powers zapping]

- EMILY: Where have you been?

You're supposed to be helping us.

- If we pull this off, you won't need anyone's help.

I know where the Hidden Discovery Spell is.

- Where?

- The cabinet in Agamemnon's office.

- Oh, great! That should be super easy to get to.

- Look, everyone will be so distracted during Blockers,

it'll give us plenty of time

to get in and out before anyone notices.

And once I get my hands on that spell...

no one will be able to stop us.

- Where could Ben possibly be?

You know, it's not like him to disappear like this.

- You've known him for like a week.

- That's not the point.

Ben! Where have you been?

- BEN: Having the best time ever.

Jumpy castle. Cotton candy.

- Don't forget about shooting hoops.

- Oh, yeah!

- That sounds awesome, but, um,

I think we should probably start getting ready.

Dude, you need to back away from my WIT.

- I was just trying to help him out

after the whole wrist thing.

- There would have never been a wrist thing,

if you hadn't caused it.

- AGAMEMNON: Attention, everyone!

Welcome to the Blockers Final Examinations.

Each team will have three minutes

to build a tower of blocks.

The height of the tower will then be measured

by an independent panel of judges.

Well, just one judge--me. [laughing]

The team with the tallest tower wins.

- STUDENTS: [cheering, applauding]

- Remember, this is about teamwork,

listening, and reacting.

As for an added incentive,

the Guardian of the winning team

will be awarded one Guardian Tool.

- STUDENTS: [cheering, applauding]

- Good luck and may the best team win!

- First up--Ruby, Emily and Ethan.

- *

- And go!

- It's time to make this block rise,

right before our very eyes!

- BOTH: [powers zapping]

- STUDENTS: Ohhh...

[applauding, cheering]

- Rumor has it Cameron saw you

talking to a bookshelf in the library.

He thought you cracked under pressure.

- Pfft! Please. I was just...

practicing my acceptance speech for the Guardian Hall of Fame.

- I'd like to thank you all for being here.

But then again, you have no choice, because you're books.

- STUDENTS: [gasping]

[applauding, cheering] - Time!

- *

- [powers zapping]

- [bell rings] - Seven feet!

- STUDENTS: [cheering, applauding]

- Next competitors!

- *

- Doing good, Gracienator.

- Now, gently place it on top.

- *

- What are you doing? Let me place it.

- I'm placing it. - LUKE: Guys!

- GRACIE & SEAN: Fine! You do it!

- STUDENTS: [gasping]

- CAMERON: And time!

- [powers zapping] - [bell rings]

- Nine feet!

- STUDENTS: [cheering, applauding]

- Nine feet! We're in first place!

- It could have been ten.

- Emily, go ahead.

- I'm a little drained from Blockers.

Would you mind?

- Not at all.

Inside this cabinet is a spell we need,

so open it up with incredible speed!

[powers zapping]

- What? Why didn't it work?

- Must be some kind of force field.

- EMILY: [reading] "Mark 4 cabinet

"with magic anti-open look.

If they try and break in, it'll be a shock."

- Hm, I wonder what that means?

- [electrical zapping]

- Never mind.

- RUBY: [sighing]

- Last up-- Andi, Ben and Jessie.

- My wrist feels a little funny.

- As in "Let's win this tournament" funny?

- As in "it's a little swollen."

- Uh, that's the swelling of impending victory.

- Andi, I've never done a healing spell before.

That might be why it's wearing off.

- Ben, look, I really need you to focus.

- Andi, Ben, Jessie, please, you're up.

- All right, team, let's do this.

Jessie, you're the bacon. Ben, you're the sizzle.

- I'm allergic to bacon. - I don't know what that means.

- Just...

Jessie, you lift. Ben, you control direction.

- Oh.

Lift these blocks with tender care,

push them safely into the air!

[powers zapping]

- Now by using my control, we can accomplish our goal!

[powers zapping]

- *

- STUDENTS: [cheering, applauding]

- BEN: Take this to the top of the tower,

with lots and lots of power!

- BOTH: [powers zapping]

- *

- BEN: Ah! - Ben!

- Ow! It really hurts.

- I think his wrist is sprained.

When did this happen?

- Yester-- - Yesterday?

How were you able to cast spells with a--

[snapping fingers]

- [scanner humming]

- Headmaster! I think someone's been cheating!

- Who would dare cheat in such an honorable competition?

The rule book clearly states

that you are not allowed to use magic on each other

to gain an inequitable advantage over others.

Did you cast a spell on Ben's wrist?

And what do you have to say for yourself?

- I think you need some gum?

- We didn't do it to cheat.

We did it to get a fair shot.

- You intentionally broke the rules.

I have no choice but to

disqualify you from Blockers Finals.

- No!

- Luke, Sean and Gracie are the winners!

- STUDENTS: [cheering, applauding]

- Jessie.

I'm afraid I must take your powers.

- What? - Wait, I--

- No, Miss Cruz!

Until Jessie learns that her talents

come with responsibilities,

it must be so.

[powers zapping]

[sighing]

- This is all your fault!

- Andi, take Ben to the nurse's office immediately,

and make sure he's not too badly injured.

- Don't even say it.

- I wasn't gonna say anything, other than,

I don't like winning like this.

- Yeah? Well, you just did.

Come on, Ben.

- [powers zapping]

Neither of us are powerful enough

to penetrate the cabinet.

- Wait! That's it!

Why don't you try using your magic at the same time?

- A double power spell.

- ETHAN & EMILY: With double the pow,

crack this open now!

[powers zapping]

- [rhino head bellowing]

- [Hex rattling suitcase]

- [latch clicks]

- *

- BEN: Hex!

- Hex, where have you been?

[gasping]

I've been worried sick.

Ruby did what to you?

- We're thinking about this all wrong.

What if we don't need to open the door?

- What are you talking about?

- I'm talking about a Phasing Spell.

- What's that?

- It creates waves to help change the way an object feels.

It won't get rid of the door,

but it'll make the door feel like air,

so we can reach through the door.

We can't stand here for days and days,

let's reach through the door by using a phase!

[powers zapping]

- Whoa!

- Just hurry up and grab it.

- Which one is it?

There's like 50 canisters in here.

- AGAMEMNON: [yodeling]

- [canister clatters]

- Oh, no, I think I knocked some over.

- *

- This has to be it.

- Ethan, wait, that's a--

- [magic zapping]

- Whoa.

- *

- Hidden Discovery Spell. I got it!

- What are you three doing in my office?

- *
