Do you think I'll let Song Xiaodong come back?

[Lover or Stranger Ep22]

Brother.

Youxi.

I need to talk to you.

What's the matter?

Youxi.

There are many things you don't know about.

I think,

now it's time to tell you.

She is not Qianyi.

She is another person.

Her name is Song Xiaodong.

Where did Xiaodong go?

You look familiar.

Have we met before?

Why did you take me?

Look at me carefully.

Can you remember anything?

I just think you look familiar.

Anyone following you?

It's you!

So you two work together.

Meizi, I helped you once.

How can you do this to me?

I...

You two know each other?

She was caught stealing a wallet last time.

I helped you out and got you a job.

How ungrateful!

So,

did Luo Qianyi ask you to kidnap me?

It is not strange for her to have the idea

of getting rid of a fake Luo Qianyi.

What do you mean?

Do you really not remember us?

No, I don't.

You are one of us.

Don't be afraid.

You must be hungry.

Get her some clothes.

When I found out that I am not Luo Qianyi,

how I wish I could

stab Huo Youze to death.

Do I have anything against him?

Why did he do this to me?

How much money did Luo Qianyi pay you?

I can find a way to give you more.

Look,

as long as I am alive,

Huo Youze will be living in constant fear.

Let's work together

and torture him slowly.

Hurting you and Luo Qianyi

is such a terrible sin for Huo Youze.

I can't just let him get away so easily.

Have you remembered your name?

Meizi told me

you said your name was Song Xiaodong.

Have you remembered anything else?

Nothing.

It's okay. Take your time.

The food is making my stomach ache.

Can I use the bathroom?

If you don't trust me,

ask Meizi to go with me.

You can go by yourself.

We will wait here.

Can I really go by myself?

I will be back soon.

Dad, is she Xiaodong?

Your sister is already dead.

Why do I feel like she is?

Maybe she didn't die.

I don't hate her, anyway.

How about we work together for now?

Dad, eat this.

You're back so soon.

I feel good now.

Just as you said,

we will treat Huo Youze as an ATM.

Torture him slowly.

Okay. Deal.

Youze.

Come in.

The money is ready.

Making a deal with him will be our last resort.

Can't we just let Song Zhengnan take Song Xiaodong away?

If Song Xiaodong and I appear at the same time,

you and I will be

the bad guys in everyone's eyes.

We will be doomed by then.

I saw Song Zhengnan.

He threatened to kill Xiaodong.

I can't take the risk.

This is between them.

It has nothing to do with us.

Whether Song Zhengnan kills

Song Xiaodong or not,

it's not our responsibility.

We owe her nothing.

If you do think like this,

then I can only ask the police to rescue her.

Calm down.

Don't burn your bridges.

Fine. Call the police.

If you call the police now, I will tell everyone

that you left me on the snow mountain

and got a woman who lost her memory

to replace me,

so that you can cover your crime.

I don't care.

I should have told the truth in the first place.

How about me?

Are you this desperate

to see me get caught with Song Zhengnan?

Weren't you the reason why

I suffered all of this?

Song Zhengnan hasn't texted yet.

Let's not panic first.

We will ensure Song Xiaodong's safety first.

About what happens next, we'll think about it later.

I'm starting to envy you.

You're always the calmest one.

Lei.

Xiaodong will be fine, right?

Your brother told you?

Relax. We will save Xiaodong.

How about my brother?

I will do my best to keep him safe.

We can't let Song Zhengnan lead us by the nose.

What do you mean?

Song Zhengnan's plan

is based on Youze.

He cares about Song Xiaodong.

What if he doesn't care?

I can't change Youze's mind.

You don't need to.

So far, Song Zhengnan only contacted

you and me.

As long as we can convince him, that's enough.

What are you doing?

Let's ignore him. It's that simple.

People like him

can't be satisfied.

If we give him money, then what?

He will still use our secrets

to blackmail us.

This will never end.

Are you really gonna put Mingyou Group at stake?

If we do this, in the end,

Youze will be the one who gets hurt.

If we push Song Zhengnan too far,

how can you know what he will do?

As long as we are on the same side,

who will believe him even if he spills out the truth?

So what someone looks exactly the same as me?

What can it prove?

Can Song Zhengnan prove that

we have connections with Song Xiaodong?

I was in an accident and lost my memory in Japan.

Now I have recovered.

I have never left Youze.

As for Song Zhengnan,

who knows where he found a woman who did

plastic surgery to look like me.

That's it.

Then, in the end, Song Zhengnan

will only come after you for this.

I hope so.

Relax.

I have something on him.

He won't do anything to me.

Help me.

Meizi.

Go out and get some bottles of beer.

Um...

Aren't you gonna call Huo Youze and ask for money?

Seems like Mr. Huo doesn't plan to save you.

No one answered my message.

Now I think of it, I am really stupid.

At first, I thought

he fell in love with my dear daughter.

Now I think of it,

how could there be any rich guy who is this stupid?

Right?

What did you say?

I am your daughter?

Are you playing dumb with me?

Fine.

Let's first talk about

things in our family,

alright?

What do you mean?

I don't know what you mean.

Where did you hide the money?

What money? I don't know.

You made me miserable over the past six months!

Tell me now.

Where did you hide the money?

As long as you disappear here,

they'll think you took the money.

How about we let you pay the price today?

Bastard, where did you hide the money?

I don't know what money you are talking about.

Besides, I lost my memory.

If you did lose your memory,

how could you come back for Meizi?

You could have run away when we were eating.

I especially came back from Japan

to know

where you hid the money.

I don't know.

Xiaodong.

You are my favorite daughter.

I can hurt you.

I can also hurt Meizi.

Are you still a human?

Because of you,

I have been living like a ghost.

This is the change.

Dad, why did you...

Don't ask.

Mozart, are you happy?

I called you several times.

Why did you just pick up?

Luo Qianyi.

You kept ignoring my call.

I was wondering what I should do

to attract your attention.

What do you want from me?

You already have Song Xiaodong.

I can't help you with anything.

Huo Youze has been quiet these days.

It's your fault

telling Sun Lei that all will have their lives back.

They thought about it carefully

and decided there's no need to talk to you anymore.

We know everything he did.

And then?

He can go down with us.

Watch your mouth. What do you mean by us?

You just found a random woman

and made her look like me. What can it prove?

Luo Qianyi, are you selling me out?

You can do this on your own.

We can save ten million dollars.

Zhang Yang, I remembered.

Let me ask you, who is Zhang Yang?

There is no one called Zhang Yang.

You made it up when you wanted to

have a boyfriend as a kid.

Luo Qianyi, let me tell you.

If it wasn't for me, can you be back now?

I am warning you.

You have never had

any bargaining chips.

Take your daughter back to Japan soon.

It's me! I am Xiaodong!

But why did dad...

He wants to kill me.

When we were in Japan,

dad killed a man.

I saw it.

That's why we got into trouble.

I have a backup plan about the dirty work

you did in Japan.

Don't defame me.

The one in Japan wasn't me.

You just found a random woman

and made her look like me.

But your face...

Don't you still believe me?

You won't be able to get away with this.

If you go too far,

I am capable of anything.

Luo Qianyi!

I will bring one down with me no matter what!

You bitch!

Run!

Go!

Meizi!

Dad. Dad.

Are you gonna betray me?

Dad, I confirmed that she is Xiaodong.

She really is...

Shut up!

Xiaodong!

I know you are watching.

Come out, Xiaodong!

Dad, spare us.

Shut up!

You don't want Meizi to get hurt, right?

Song Xiaodong, come out!

Are you gonna keep hiding?

Take this.

Meizi.

I don't want to get to this point either.

Forgive me.

Forgive me.

I know she must be watching.

Xiaodong!

You don't want Meizi's hand

to be maimed because of you, right?

I'll do it if you still refuse to come out!

Song Xiaodong, you made me do this!

Three!

Two!

Dad!

Don't.

Don't do this.

Don't do this.

I haven't heard you calling me dad for a while.

Apart from you,

there is no one I can trust.

Good girl.

Hasn't Song Zhengnan contacted you?

No.

There's nothing at all?

It can't be right.

Since Xiaodong is with him,

he shouldn't be delaying this.

Alright. Don't walk so fast.

Off you go.

Did Song Zhengnan contact you?

No.

Is there any other way to contact him?

He is very cautious. He already changed his number.

Sun Lei.

There must be something wrong.

Maybe,

we should just wait.

Are you hiding something from me?

For all these years,

you know me well,

and I know you well, too.

Stop lying to me.

I just want to protect you.

Protect everything we have.

I don't want it anymore!

Do you know how miserable I am every day?

I also want to be relieved.

I can't let Xiaodong be in danger!

Song Zhengnan contacted me.

Why did you do this?

Do you think Song Zhengnan will just give up?

He will threaten you with everything he knows.

You'll be the one getting hurt then.

None of these happened.

Do you think it's possible?

Actually, you don't need to worry.

No one will trust him.

You only need to remember

you were the one bringing me back from Japan.

The one living with you during this period

is also me.

One, two, three.

Cheese.

Over the past half year,

I was the one visiting Color School with you.

I was the one meeting Li Weixin with you.

No matter what Song Zhengnan says...

Let go of me!

The one in Japan

wasn't me.

You all look so serious!

Smile and look happy!

Youze.

If you want,

I am always here.

I have always been by your side.

It's me.

It's you.

Let's end this.

I can give you the money.

But I want Xiaodong to return safely.

Get the money ready.

I will let you see

Xiaodong alive and kicking.

Wait for my message.

Youze.

I am nearby.

I worry that Song Zhengnan may play a trick later.

So tell everyone

the most important thing is to keep Xiaodong safe.

Of course.

He is really here.

I thought

he didn't want to pay to get you back.

It's me.

I'm here.

Go ahead.

Take the money and head to the bush on your own.

If it is not the right amount,

I have a backup plan.

Just ensure Xiaodong's safety.

I will give you what you asked for.

Throw the money into the bush.

If you want Xiaodong to be safe,

you'd better listen to me.

Then go away.

And wait.

Get off.

Fetch the money.

Dad.

Isn't the money in Japan enough?

Can't I go back and look for it with you?

Get off.

Get off!

Hurry!

Wait a sec.

Don't try to pull any tricks.

Meizi is still in the car.

Feng.

Don't go there now.

Qianyi.

Don't you care about

Song Xiaodong's life at all?

Even if you make Song Xiaodong disappear,

things that have happened won't change.

I just need to get what I want.

You know what?

If you and Song Xiaodong switched places,

she would definitely save you without hesitation.

Xiaodong!

This way!

Xiaodong, come here!

Xiaodong, what are you doing?

Come here!

Xiaodong, come back!

Song Xiaodong!

Song Xiaodong, don't run!

We were tricked.

Song Xiaodong, stop there!

What are you doing, Meizi?

Meizi!

Stop the car!

Meizi! Meizi! Meizi!

Song Xiaodong!

-Oh no. -Let's go.

Meizi!

Meizi!

Hop on!

What are you doing, you fool?

Stop the car!

No!

Stop the car! My money!

It's too late to stop the car.

Don't think I am joking.

Dad, let's return to Japan.

You are killing me, girl.

Meizi!

Meizi, stop the car!

Meizi!

Meizi!

Meizi!

Xiaodong is waiting for you!

Wait my ass!

Xiaodong is an ungrateful daughter!

Don't mind that old man! Keep driving!

Get rid of them!

Get rid of them!

Meizi!

Xiaodong is waiting for you!

Step on the gas. Quick.

Step on the gas!

Meizi!

-Meizi! -Meizi!

-Meizi! -Meizi!

Meizi!

-Meizi! -Meizi!

Meizi!

Meizi! Wake up!

Don't move them!

There's a car accident on Binjiang Road. Come quickly.

Yes, at the crossroads.

Hurry, thank you.
