Once Given Never Forgotten EP12

Thank you so much.

See you next time.

Do come again.

Three flower stores opened on this street this year.

It's too competitive.

But no matter how many stores there are,

their flowers are not as fresh as ours.

It doesn't matter.

We only have few guests a day.

We are suffering a deficit.

Maybe...

We can think of another way.

I can't think of anything anymore.

I can only close the store if it continues.

Hello?

Lianxin, help me.

What is it?

My mom has been obsessed with online shopping recently.

She bought a lot of Szechuan chili sauce

and use it to cook every day.

It's killing me.

Online shopping?

I want to ask you a favor.

Maybe I can sneak out some chili sauce

and give it to you.

Let's do it this way, okay?

I got it.

Thank you, Alex, thank you.

There is breakfast in the fridge.

Warm it up before you eat.

Your coffee.

Xiang Yuqiu,

copy the document for me.

Sure.

Xiang Yuqiu, go find a file for me.

At once.

All right.

Do your work by yourself.

Otherwise, Paisley will kick all of you out.

Lianxin, what did you do?

I am sorry.

It looks like you have something on your mind.

I haven't slept well recently.

I almost forgot something important.

I want to create a website for our flower store.

It's similar to the delivery platform.

In this way,

our guests can select and order flowers online.

We will prepare the cards for them

and send the flowers to their door.

In this way,

we can save our guests a lot of time.

We will also have an edge

over other flower stores.

That's great.

But neither of us can design a website.

Don't worry.

I know a classmate who can program.

But, as for designing the website,

we need to think of something.

I didn't expect that

you have so many ideas given how you normally do your work.

Alex!

It's the first time that I came to where you work.

The place is very nice.

You've got the fragrance of flowers and music.

It's very appealing.

I quite like it.

Ask your boss if you need any more help.

Can you do website design?

No, I can't.

Then, we won't need you.

I was just joking.

How do I have time now that I am graduating?

What do you plan to do

after your graduation?

Go on an adventure with my schoolmates.

That's so nice.

I want to go as well.

Come on, join us.

You are welcome to join our adventure squad.

Forget it.

If Xiang Yuqiu knows about this,

he is definitely going to break my legs.

He is such a gentleman.

Why would he do that?

What did you bring?

This?

The Szechuan chili sauce I mentioned before.

Didn't I tell you that I would bring some for you?

Here.

What?

Then, I shall gladly take it. Thank you.

By the way,

about what happened last time,

your uncle didn't get mad, did he?

Uncle?

He's already forgotten about it.

We just need to be more careful in the future.

There is no future.

My dad found out about my little storage.

What?

I wanted to make some extra money.

Don't be so sad.

I will think of something else for you.

Didn't you just talk about website design?

Didn't you say that you can't do it?

I have a friend who

specializes in game development.

He has recommended me a game

with a fantastic page design.

Do you have any interest to have a look?

Well...

What does it have for me?

See,

most of your guests are young people.

They love novel and thrilling things.

I have browsed the websites of many companies.

They all use the style

of UI design for games.

It's exquisite and fancy.

So, it can easily catch your eyeballs.

It's catching your eyes.

Yeah, right.

It catches my eyes.

Come on, let's go.

Let's go to the Internet cafe.

I am still at work.

Sir,

can I take Lianxin out for a date?

Can you buy three bouquets?

No problem.

See you.

Xiang Yuqiu

Alex,

where are you going? My HP is too low.

There are still bugs in the game.

I don't know how to explain it to you.

Maybe we don't know how to play the game.

We usually die every two minutes.

Maybe you can go first.

No, I can't.

This is the final round. I can't go.

Come here! Go get him!

Go get him!

They are coming. Hurry up!

Wait a second. I will be there right away.

Just get over here. What are you doing?

The number you dialed doesn't respond.

We just got knocked offline.

We are dead.

I thought you were here to look at the web page design.

Why were you actually playing the game?

You are the one to talk.

You were so high

with all that.

How could I just sit there and look at the designs?

Sir.

Why are you here again? Are you looking for Lianxin?

Is she here?

You just missed her. She is not here.

Do you know where she went?

I didn't actually get it.

They talked about going to the Internet cafe.

What?

The Internet cafe.

Thank you, I need to go.

You are welcome. See you later.

It's done.

Get in here now. Get in again.

I can't hold it anymore.

Me, neither.

It's too exciting.

What does it...

What does it mean by accepting me as an apprentice?

What does it mean?

Who is it?

Who is going to accept you as an apprentice?

Let me check his information.

I am going to die.

Stop it.

What?

Do you envy that someone wants to take me in as an apprentice?

Let me teach you

how to hit on the top one player.

You can teach me first.

What are you...

What are you doing here?

I wanted to ask you the same thing.

I came here...I came here to...

Don't be nervous. It's not a big deal.

I came here to study.

Do you think I am blind?

It's not what you think.

Go home with me.

Sir,

it's not such a big deal.

We were just playing games.

It's fine if you want to play games.

You can continue. I don't care.

If you want to play games,

try it.

Lianxin.

Why don't you say anything?

What should I say?

If you use your extra time to do a part-time job,

I won't say anything.

But look at you now.

Your priority

should be applying for schools.

But good for you,

you use your time to play games.

Let me tell you this.

Before I came to Spain, I have already decided that

I would do what I like to do.

Now, every girl plays games.

I am not Luo Ting.

I am not that kind of lady you want.

You are wasting your time.

It's my time. It's none of your business.

Guys,

this project is very important

for us.

You must take it very seriously.

Let's work hard to get it done, shall we?

I am sorry.

I am so sorry.

It's about time.

Let's call it an end. You can go now.

Tang Shi, your meal is here again.

A meal box of love for you.

Thank you.

You are welcome.

Hello, Buding,

where is your boss?

All right.

Talk to you later.

Stop playing.

It's time for lunch.

Food is ready. Stop playing. Give me the ball.

You just don't have anything else to do,

so you came to play with the kids again.

I am here to for the noble cause of charity.

What about you? Here to reminisce your youth?

Do you know how to talk properly?

Reminisce what? I'm still in my youth.

I just needed to get away.

By the way,

this weekend,

I will go to Barcelona for business.

About the shooting,

I have already given it over to Liu.

You can talk to her.

You are going there again?

It's for business.

Why did you look at me like that?

It's really about work.

Our company is cooperating with

a construction group there.

I need to go there to push forward a project.

Why are you telling me the details?

I can't understand it.

Anyway, it's about Xiang Yuqiu.

Don't I have any self-esteem?

Is everything in my life about him?

Do you even believe what you just said?

Hello.

Hello.

You are Mr. Xiang?

Please come in.

Thank you.

Please show me your invitation.

Invitation?

Sorry, I think I forgot to bring it.

Could you please let me in?

I don't look like a bad person.

Sorry, this is a private winery.

You can't come in without an invitation.

Hello, Alex.

It's an emergency. Do you get it?

An emergency.

Emma,

today is Paisley's birthday?

Yeah.

This is her private winery.

She holds a cocktail party here on her birthday every year.

Everyone in the company can come.

Why didn't you tell me this earlier?

I didn't prepare any gifts for her.

You don't need to. She doesn't like gifts.

About that birthday gift,

why don't you go ask her for a dance

before the music stops?

I don't think it's appropriate.

Did you see the guy in the blue suit?

He has been pestering Paisley for a long time.

Paisley has no interest in him at all,

but she doesn't want to offend him.

If you can help her out,

it should be the best birthday gift for her.

Would you like to dance with me?

Paisley, would you like to dance with me?

I'm sorry, I don't like dancing.

But today, I'm in a good mood.

You are the one who stopped my fiancee?

Sir, I need your invitation.

You don't even know me?

My face is the invitation, you know?

Let's go.

Lianxin, it's so kind of you.

You still remember that I love parties.

Go find a pretty girl to dance with.

I have things to do.

Is this Paisley's boyfriend?

What boyfriend? Her assistant.

He just found a chance to climb to the top.

Who are you?

What are you talking about?

It's so shameful of you!

Dare you say it again?

Lianxin.

Why are you here?

Lianxin, don't run. Let me take you home.

Get your hands off me, Xiang Yuqiu.

I have had enough of you.

Let's talk when we get home.

You will catch a cold.

That's enough. I don't need your care.

You liar!

What is wrong with you?

I haven't asked you why you stalked me.

And you have the audacity to scold me.

You lied.

You said you work as a drafter in the design department,

but you're just an assistant.

Even if I can convince myself

that you have your reasons,

you know how others talk about you and Paisley?

What do they say?

That you guys...

You used to be so proud.

You'd never do things for money or status.

You wouldn't bow down to a woman and do...

Do what?

Then explain to me.

What exactly is your relationship?

There's nothing to explain.

You lecture me on everything in my life.

My part-time job,

my friends and even how often I play games.

But I know nothing about your life.

This is unfair.

I don't wanna argue with you.

You're not emotionally stable.

Go home and calm down.

We'll talk some other time, okay?

Mind your own business.

I'll show myself out.

Paisley, Red Star Freight Co.

is suspected of illegal transport.

Our cargoes are all detained.

So where is Jason right now?

It would never happen

if he didn't suggest changing the freight company.

He has to take all the responsibility.

We have made several calls

to the Congo office,

but no one answered the phone.

Maybe,

Jason ran away 'cause he didn't wanna take responsibility.

We have to complete the first phase of Joyful Life this year.

We cannot count on Jason to do everything.

If we can't find him, I'll send someone else.

This time around,

we need to select the timber again,

and make sure nothing goes wrong with the transport.

Alright?

Anyone you wanna recommend?

Or someone wants to volunteer?

Pierre?

Peter?

Chang Qing?

I'll go.

No, you cannot go.

Why?

I really like your designs.

We're paring the second phase of Joyful Life.

I was gonna have you work on it

with colleagues from the design department.

Paisley, didn't you say that

don't wait for others to give you opportunities, go earn them.

If I don't deliver some results,

how can I lead others?

Plus, I don't want people to say

I only got this position because of you.

People or Lianxin?

No matter who it is,

I think it'll be a great opportunity for me

to go to Africa this time.

By the time I get back,

Joyful Life Phase One will have been completed,

then you can just have me work on Phase Two.

Don't you think it'd be more natural?

Alright.

Fly there this afternoon?

No problem.

Oh, right.

I need to apologize to you for yesterday.

You need to apologize to Emma.

She was so pissed off.

But Lianxin actually doesn't seem that reckless.

Emma must have said something to provoke her.

Maybe.

What's wrong?

Why the long face?

Nothing.

Did you have a fight?

Maybe I lecture her too much.

That's just teenager girls.

She'll come around.

I feel like

I don't know her anymore.

What brings you here?

Xiang Yuqiu went to Africa.

I came to check on his family.

Africa? Why haven't I heard about this?

I'm off to Congo for a business trip.

There's food in the fridge.

Take care of yourself.

Why did you send him to Africa?

He offered to go there.

He must be avoiding me.

He's angry, but he still cares about you.

When is he coming back?

In a week.

You're the CEO of the company. Why check on me personally?

You like him, don't you?

I don't have to answer that.

What's that?

Going to a party tonight?

Nah, makeup products from a friend.

I never opened them.

But now I want to learn how to do makeup.

Why is that?

Xiang Yuqiu sees me as a child.

And makeup will make me a mature woman.

Experience makes a mature woman,

not makeup.

But I can't even do the basics well.

Your top priority now is to eat food.

I'll teach you how to do makeup.

No need.

You haven't answered my question.

Do you have feelings for him?

Why would I tell you that?

Fine, suit yourself.

You ruined my cake yesterday.

Nothing you wanna say to me?

I'll give you another cake next year.

I thought people invite families and friends

for their birthdays.

I don't get

why you invited

irrelevant people to celebrate your birthday.

I can easily forgive you

when you ruin a cake,

but if it's a relationship you ruin,

it might be hard to forgive you.

Were you alright yesterday?

Yeah, of course. No big deal.

I was just embarrassed.

I was gonna tell you this yesterday.

I'm leaving.

When did you decide this?

Where are you going?

Japan first.

And I'll travel to other places.

When are you leaving?

Tomorrow.

You're my only friend in Barcelona.

If you leave,

I'll lose my partner in crime.

Don't stay in your room all day.

You should come out more often.

You'll make more friends this way.

If you get really upset, you can still call me.

Nothing a nice adventure can't solve.

I really envy you sometimes.

Lianxin, I know something has been troubling you.

Do you wanna talk about it?

It's about that uncle, right?

How do you know?

'Cause I'm your best friend.

I'll miss you, Lianxin.

I'll miss you too. Alex.

Lianxin.

You screwed it up again!

What were you thinking?

Ms. Jiang,

we at Huayu Media are excited

to work with you on this project.

Last time I got back,

our shareholders said that

they've been closely following our project.

Last time we discussed many details,

and now...

Ms. Jiang?

Are you feeling ill?

No.

I'm alright.

Excuse me.

I need to use the bathroom.

You. Call Xiang Yuqiu right now!

Emma, did you call him?

I don't care how,

you must reach Xiang!

I'm on it.

Where exactly did he go? Answer me.

It's not Equator Province, right?

It is.

Did you see the news?

I did.

I've called him so many times.

He didn't pick up.

Not even once. You know?

Maybe he didn't check his phone,

or maybe he lost it.

Maybe he's already on the flight back.

Calm down first.

Don't think about the worst results just yet.

Are there any other possibilities?

Tell me!

This is a riot there. A riot!

We can't reach him.

You know?

This would have never happened,

had you not sent him there.

I'm telling you.

If anything happens to him,

I'll make all of you pay!

What did you just say?

What happened to Xiang?

What's wrong? Tell me.

I sent him to Congo for a business trip.

But now there's a riot

and we can't reach him.

- Call him. - Call him.

Call the Congo office!

Call the embassy!

I've sent people to the airport there,

to check his departure record.

Get in touch with the local police.

If he's not on the official list of injured persons,

he should be fine.

So, for now,

it's better if you two go back and wait.

I'll let you know

the second I get new information.

Alright?

Lianxin.

Why are you running? Feeling guilty?

It's funny how you blamed the company.

If it weren't for you, would he come here?

Would he be in danger now?

Are you done?

Tang Shi, you always say I keep him down.

I'm getting so tired of it.

No use talking about this now!

I've been putting up with you for years.

Yes, I'm selfish.

But at least I always follow my heart.

I fight for what I want.

Who are you to judge me?

I know.

I know you love Xiang Yuqiu.

Then go get him!

Yes, I rely on him a lot.

But I've never once interfered in his love life.

But you're giving me a hard time for that.

Don't you think it's funny?

Where are you? Are you safe?

Did you get injured?

Xiang Yuqiu, I will never argue with you again.

Never again.

I'll do whatever you say.

Just reply to me. I'm begging you.

Where are you?

Hello.

Why do you care?

Fine, don't tell me.

I was gonna tell you something about Xiang.

I don't know where I am either.

You tell her.

Tell her where I am.

Hi, we're at Roof.

Come here.

It's another young girl.

Let's wait for her.

Hello.

Hello, Lianxin.

Why didn't Xiang answer my calls?

He's at work.

Maybe his phone died.

Huh, his phone died?

Yeah, he's been busy lately.

How are you guys doing?

Miss me a lot?

Of course. A lot.

He's now working for an architecture company.

The salary is so high.

I'm also preparing for

my Spanish exam and college application.

As long as you guys are doing well,

it's fine that he doesn't answer my calls.

Lianxin, I wanna ask you a favor.

Lianxin, I wanna ask you a favor.

Tang has gastritis but she doesn't eat on time.

Knowing her, she probably forgot to take her medicine too.

Could you go check on her sometime?

All the books say that,

"Choose the person who loves you,

not the one you love".

Why are you two doing the opposite?

Free to talk?

Emma has checked it

and he's not on the list of injured persons.

For real?

Does that mean, he's at least alive?

I'm really sorry.

Although Xiang offered to go to Congo,

I shouldn't have allowed a newbie there.

You did nothing wrong.

He went there for work.

Nobody knew a riot would happen.

I shouldn't have blamed it on you,

or made a scene at your firm.

I should be the one apologizing.

You are a bit different now.

Really?

I don't really feel it.

People grow up without realizing it.

It might take a long time,

but sometimes it happens overnight.

I just want Xiang Yuqiu back.

As long as he comes back safely,

I'll be the best-behaved girl.

I can remain a girl forever.

I won't argue with him.

I won't piss him off.

He will definitely come back.
