[Episode 54]

Where are you escaping to? Is there still a place for you to escape to?

Helan Zhen, it’s you again.

What are you trying to do?

Taking you back to Hulan

Where are my people? You should worry about yourself first.

Where are Pang Gui and Su Jin’er?

Pang Gui is dead.

As for Su Jin’er, you don’t worry about her.

Think about what happened before you passed out.

and woke up in my carriage.

Your Highness are you thirsty?

Have a drink.

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by The Emperor’s Conquests@ Viki.com

That’s right, Su Jin’er, your maid, handed you over to me.

She has betrayed you for a long time.

This kind of disloyal servant will give you endless trouble.

Why haven’t you noticed it?

It’s a trap you set up to use her.

Then you just misunderstood me. I want to save you.

Take a look for yourself.

This is your wanted warrant.

It is plastered all over the gates and streets inDacheng.

I had no choice but to make such a move.

Now you can’t go anywhere. Hulan is the safest place.

Leave with me. I will protect you.

[Poster for Arrest of Princess Consort Yuzhang]

Stop. Stop!

Lord Anping, what is your command?

There is no rush to enter the city.

Yes.

Stand by.

Ling Chun Here!

When you enter the city go quickly and find a doctor to treat the girl.

Yes, Lord Anping. The Army doctor who is with us has already treated her easily.

I really don’t understand.

Why did Princess Consort Yuzhang take away the Little Prince?

What do you not understand?

She wants to hold Little Prince as captive.

We all know Princess Consort Yuzhang.

How would he have the thought to rebel?

A traitor is a traitor.

Her husband has turned into a traitor too.

How could she break free from the accusations?

Enough.

Everyone, now that the Emperor has died,

and the Little Prince’s whereabouts are unknown.

Let’s first discuss this

on what we should do on the empty throne.

Of course, it’s to find the Little Prince soon.

We have already dispatched many people.

But till now, we still haven’t obtained any

news about Princess Consort and Little Prince’s whereabouts.

Send more men to find them.

Even if we dig a hole through earth, we have to find Little Prince!

It is easy to talk.

Wen Xia you are the leader of all the officials.

Speak a few words.

We can wait,

but can the country’s affairs wait?

Can those that desire the throne wait?

The country cannot go on a day without a ruler.

Then from what you are saying-

We will choose another ruler.

Prince Anping.

It has come to this, it looks like this is the only path left.

But he...still has the blood of the Xie Family.

Official Gu, watch what you say.

Wang Li Xie Yuan has already died.

Look at the Imperial Court now.

Is there still a difference between the Wang Clan and the Xie Clan in the imperial court?

-Report! -What matter is there?

The guards protecting the capital has reported

that Prince Anping has returned to the capital without permission.

God’s will.

God’s will.

-Granny Gui. -Yes. -How is Empress Dowager?

She’s much better.

Granny Gui, after the medicine is finished cooking, feed Empress Dowager and it will be good.

Yes.

I will come back tomorrow.

Thank you, Imperial Physician Shen.

Your Highness, the medicine is ready.

-Bring it. -Yes.

Empress Dowager, take your medicine.

Here.

Slowly, slowly.

Have medicine, Your Highness.

My Jing’er.

You have already dispatched many people to look for him.

Have medicine.

When your body is better, everything will have hope.

Here.

We greet Prince Anping on your return to the palace.

We greet Lord on your return to the palace.

Yuan Xiao.

Water.

Water.

Drink water.

Water.

Long’er! Long’er!

Drink slowly.

Z-Zitan.

Zitan.

Zitan! Zitan!

Empress Dowager are you still confused as to why Zitan is here?

Guards!

Your son has died.

Your only grandson’s whereabouts are also unknown.

I am Father Emperor’s only offspring left.

Now I have returned to the capital from Imperial Mausoleum.

I am naturally here to succeed the throne.

Nonsense!

After the previous emperor’s funeral, then I will rule.

This Great Cheng’s mountains will naturally be mine.

Guards!

Empress Dowager.

These years, you have tried with much effort.

First, you poisoned the previous emperor.

Then, you framed my mother, and framed the Xie Family.

You used all tactics possible to separate me and A’Wu.

In the end, you even killed your brother.

To help your son to the throne.

Now that you have come to this.

Are you satisfied?

I once thought,

is God blind?

Why,

did you do all evil things,

and you could continue to stay in the palace?

I also thought,

if one day you are in my hands,

how should I avenge for Mother Empress and Father Emperor?

But today, seeing the way you look.

I suddenly feel that God had actually already planned it well.

Guards!

Do you want to see how miserable you look now?

The changes at Lianyu Mountain.

I know it was you who set up the death trap.

But you didn’t think

it could be useful to me.

I’ll tell you frankly.

Your son Zilong’s death.

Cheng Xiang. Cheng Xiang you have finally come.

Cheng Xiang please save Empress Dowager.

Cheng Xiang, Prince of Anping is inside.

Cheng Xiang!

Your Highness!

Your Highness! No!

Your Highness, no matter what Empress Dowager is still Empress Dowager.

She is also your Mother Empress.

Your Highness, our country looks at “loyal and filial” importantly.

If you cannot even do the two words of “loyal and filial”

It will make everyone in the world laugh.

You have thought too much.

You are Father Emperor’s Empress.

The current Empress Dowager.

I am only being filial as a son and visiting Empress Dowager.

There is many days to come.

I will come another day to visit.

Empress Dowager.

Empress Dowager! Empress Dowager!

Wen Zhong Shen.

I am here.

Ask someone to kill him!

Your Highness!

Empress Dowager!

Empress Dowager! Empress Dowager!

Empress Dowager!

Empress Dowager.

Prince Anping.

Prince of Anping, that girl has awoken.

She says she wants to thank you for saving her life.

We have already investigated her identity.

It is Prince of Yuzhang’s underling, Hu Yao.

Is there still no news of Princess Consort Yuzhang?

Su Jin’Er didn’t leave any clues as to the promise.

But I have also asked several people to go different paths to search.

Go on.

Yes.

After a few days, it’ll be August 15. (TN: Mid-Autumn Festival in Lunar Calendar)

The time to reunite with family,

I also don’t know where Princess Consort is now.

I don’t understand. It was fine.

How did Prince become a rebel from Prince of Yuzhang?

Do you not want to live? You dare to say these.

Fengchi Palace’s fates really change greatly.

I don’t know what will happen also after the new emperor rules.

Prince of Anping has come. Prince of Anping.

Greetings, Prince of Anping.

His Majesty has arrived!

Eight month on the second year of Cheng Kang,

Prince of Anping, Zitan became Emperor.

A posthumous title was conferred on Empress Xie as Empress Dowager Xiaochun Yuning.

In only two years in Great Cheng,

three emperors have reigned. The imperial court is at difficulty.

A gift from heaven was broken apart alive like this!

Please calm down, Father.

Prince of Yuzhang has rebelled, assassinated the Emperor.

He has died without anything.

Such a bad excuse, who would believe it?

From what you mean...

If he really wanted to rebel, why would he only bring those hundreds of soldiers?

If he had the thought, I am afraid the world would have already been the Xiao’s!

If it is Xiao Qi, who could have such great power?

Zilong being assassinated.

Small Crown Prince’s whereabouts are unknown.

Zitan that is at Imperial Mausoleum, faraway knows greatly about the palace.

Without calling, he returned to the palace on time.

Is all of this a coincidence?

Does Wen Zhongshen and the other old fellows not understand?

But it has come to this.

All of the Ma Family’s royal offspring only has Zitan left.

If he doesn’t succeed the throne, who will?

This Xiao Qi is too arrogant! The people he has offended is not only the Ma and Xie Family.

It is the whole Great Cheng!

Only this, he gave Zitan the chance!

Then from what you mean, what should we do now?

Hiding in this Jiangnan has no more meaning.

My son has come back!

Greetings, Father Emperor.

[King of Hulan]

Our Hulan soldiers have returned!

Great job son!

Here.

Meet the envoy of Crown Prince Ke’er Bu, Prince Kunpu.

Greetings, Prince Kunpu.

You don’t have to be so polite.

Brother Zhen, long time no see!

Brother Tuo, long time no see.

Here, please.

Please.

Here.

Our Hulan’s soldiers have won a battle!

We are proud for them!

-Okay! -Okay! -Cheers!

Here. Have a seat.

Eat meat.

Zhen’er, this time you have killed Prince of Yuzhang and killed Ningshuo soldiers.

You have brought great glory to out Hulan.

I have already told you.

Whenever you kill Xiao Qi, I will resign the throne.

For you to become Hulan’s new Emperor.

[Helan Tuo]

Here.

Zhen’er, I still have another important matter to announce.

Emperor Ke’er and I,

have arranged you and his beloved daughter Princess Mi Ya’s wedding.

This time, Emperor Kunpu has come for mariage.

Father Emperor.

Greet the people who have come from afar.

This wedding, I am afraid I cannot agree.

You-!

Today’s embarassment,

I will for sure let the people of Hulan return it twice!

-Zhen’er. -Emperor Kunpu.

Emperor Kunpu, don’t leave.

That boy is just being astray for a moment.

-Don’t mind him. -Emperor Kunpu! -The wedding between Princess Mi Ya,

I will for sure make him agree, alright?

After 10 days, we will hold the succession ceremony.

I will give my throne to you.

You will become the new Emperor Hulan.

Aligning with Ke’er is your only choice.

If this way, I

rather give up the throne.

You bastard son!

You don’t even want the throne! How would I have you as my son!?

How you would have me as a son,

I believe,

you know better than anyone else.

The two most important people in my life.

My mother, my sister.

They have already died.

I originally had a chance to save them.

It was you, who made me miss the chance.

Now, I don’t want to lose my loved woman again.

I have already brought her back to Hulan. I want to marry her.

If you really want to reward me,

then please approve of this marriage.

Only for a woman?

So it is for a woman!

What woman is it?

Making you confused like this!

Is she the reincarnated body of god?

She is not god. But in my heart, she is better than god.

How would there be this type of woman in the world?

I want to see.

She is Great Cheng’s Wang Clan’s daughter.

Her surname is Wang, name is Xuan.

The person you want to marry is Princess Consort Yuzhang?!

She is not Princess Consort Yuzhang.

Prince of Yuzhang has already died.

Now, she is only Wang Xuan.

Look how dumb you are. Your face.

Who will marry you in the future?

Forgive me for not taking good care fo you all along.

A’Wu.

This big tent, I specially asked someone to arrange it for you.

I am not sure if you like it or not.

This is your first time coming, you have many things of the grass plains you are not used to.

What you want, what you need to use, I will arrange it for you.

A’Li Ma, why are you still standing there?

Greetings, Consort of Prince Zhen.

I am not his wife.

In the grass plains, it is hard to find someone who knows to speak Mandarin Chinese.

It is so hard to find someone who looks well,

if you don’t like it tell me. I’ll change it for you.

A’Li Ma.

The person in front of you is the most respected woman in the grass plains.

You have to serve her well and carefully.

If she has any thing she is not pleased with,

I will immediately return you to the maid’s camp,

understand?

I will do my best to serve Consort.

Do you not understand?

I am not his consort. I am Princess Consort Yuzhang.

-Okay, listen to her. -Yes.

Bring some hot water for Princess Consort to wash her face.

Yes.

Drink some of the best milk tea in the grassland.

Please, Go out

The grassland is very cold. You can warm your body by drinking some milk tea.

Miss Hu would like to meet His Majesty?

Please follow me

Hu Yao Lady, Palace girls and you from army are different

You must take small steps when you are walking.

Arms can’t move like this

Walking has to be slow

Ai Ling Zuo Lady, I want

Miss Hu Yao, when you are in the palace, you must not raise your voice.

I know

I just want to ask

I want to ask if Miss Ling Chun has always been with His Majesty?

So what if the answer is yes.

Do you know when His Majesty saved me, was I alone?

What? Hu Yao has alive relatives?

If you want to live, whatever you shouldn’t mention, just forget them.

Yu lady, Later see the Emperor

don’t look at him directly and call his given name.

Do not misuse certain words.

Understand?

So you are Hu Yao

Hu Yao bows to Emperor

They say you beg to see me

I would like to personally thank you for your kindness in saving me.

If Your Majesty didn’t come to my aid-

Reply softly.

If Your Majesty didn’t come to my aid,

I would have died.

I will never forget your great kindness.

During the battle at the hunting ground,

are you the only survivor from Ningshuo Army?

Yes.

Rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

You are here,

probably not just to thank me.

Since I’m still alive,

on behalf of Prince Yuzhang and Ningshuo Army,

I would like to plead that they cleared of any charges and be proven innocent.

This is your motive

Replying to Emperor, You majesty

I have followed Prince Yuzhang since I was young

and fought hundred of battles to defend Great Cheng.

I dare to swear on my life that

Great King and I are fully loyal to Great Cheng.

Your Majesty, please investigate wisely and return the innocence to Ningshuo Army and Prince Yuzhang.

I will have my own officials to investigate the case of Prince Yuzhang.

How can a woman like you speak about justice?

I

I’m preparing to announce amnesty.

Your Ningshuo Army will be pardoned too.

You go

When you leave the palace, no one will give you a hard time.

Thank you, Emperor, Your Majesty

A guest from afar.

It has been a long time, Princess Consort Yuzhang.

Greetings Hulan King

Legend says that Princess Consort Yuzhang is gorgeous.

Its not fake

Legend says that the King of Hulan is accustomed to holding the people of Great Cheng captive.

Of course it’s not fake

Are you saying that

you are forced to come here?

Helan Zhen snuck into Great Cheng and took me by force.

This is stealing.

Hulan and Great Cheng just formed an alliance.

As the leader of Hulan, you treated the treaty of alliance as nothing.

You let the son of Hulan forcibly take a wife.

With regards to trust and virtue, you have lost the demeanor of a king.

You are the only one who dares to talk to me in this manner.

You have brains and courage.

No wonder my Zhen’er likes you.

Princess Consort Yuzhang

Since you are not interested in Zhen’er,

I will release you and let you leave the city. What do you think?

Is your word real?

I will get someone to escort you to leave tonight.

But you can’t go backI

Otherwise, I will feed you to the wolves in the grassland of Hulan.

This old King of Hulan is unpredictable.

Is this a crisis or a turn for the better?

In this unfamiliar grassland, I must not make any mistakes.

What ever happens, Only living

So everything has hope.
