John, this is Ryan Wiley from the US Geological Survey team.

We had a quake measuring 2.2 on a mini fault

that we haven't mapped.

Now, hundreds of them exist all over Southern Cal.

We just don't know where they are until something

like this happens.

But now we know one of them is right here.

What are the chances we'll have more?

Well, as you know, quakes are difficult to predict,

but they usually occur in clusters.

So I'd expect this fault to be active for at least 36 hours.

The bunker was built as a bomb shelter back in the '60s.

It's 10-by-15 constructed with concrete blocks.

It's got one air vent, no external water supplies,

and just the two entrances.

This entrance is accessed by a tunnel

at the bottom of the stairwell.

JOHN: I need you to pull the top off that vent

and drop down the articulated camera.

I want to see what's going on down there.
