How impressive you are

that you can make His Excellency listen to you

in just a single night!

Sir, we've loaded everything in this brothel onto the cart

Good, let's go

Your Excellency...

Your Excellency, please don't go...

You old witch

you deserve this!

- You! Stay here! - Goodbye!

- You! Come back here... - Goodbye

- You! Come back here... - Old witch

Stay here!

Those are my hard-earned money! Darn it...

Look at what we've done

We've robbed everything from Chun Feng Brothel

I'm going to give them to my sisters in the Pearl Valley

surely they will be excited when they see these

I'm sure they've not seen anything like this

How nice of you to think about your sisters

even when you are doing missions

This hairpin is gorgeous. I'll give it to Sister Fan

When we are back in the valley

I will see if there are any beautiful clothes

to give to Sister Fan

Little junior, I remember when you were little

you will fight with Senior Xue over everything

But you will never fight with Senior Fan

and instead, give her everything you have

You still think about her n everything even for now

Actually in my eyes

all of you are equally important to me

It is just that Sister Fan's face was scarred because of me

and that caused her to have low self-confidence

I've felt guilty for it all this while

I was thinking that I can find in Beijing

the Beauty Skin Cream

that can cure the scar on her face

so that she can regain her beauty and her confidence

Little junior

I know that the masters and the eldest senior are critical of you

but you are the most beautiful and kind-hearted person I know

What should we do with those people behind us?

Don't worry, we are already out of the city

Let's find a quiet place so that we can take care of them

Can you do that all by yourself?

Don't worry about me

Do you think that the eldest senior is the only person who can fight?

It is not that, Brother Ye

I'm just scared that if we fight, I can't do anything to help you

You just have to protect yourself

Stop here

Why are we stopping?

Your Excellency, where exactly are you heading off to?

This is already 5 miles away from Yuan Zhou City

I am looking for a farm house in the outskirts

so that my beauty can settle down

Just keep going

But Your Excellency

you have been acting strangely today

You knew very well that the Premier is behind the brothel

yet you confiscated all of their assets

And you led us into the woods

that is getting deeper and deeper

Outrageous, are you questioning

what I can and cannot do?

I don't dare to

It just that there were some unknown crooks impersonating you yesterday

I don't really feel easy about it

Perhaps you are also an imposter?

So, are you doubting my identity?

Mind if I ask you

what my nickname is?

Surely it is Wang Cai

because you look like a dog wagging your tail in front of me

Don't you think you are just like a dog?

Go now, little junior!

Brother Ye... But I don't know how to drive a cart!

Brother Ye!

Go...

Doesn't that make me disloyal

if I leave Brother Ye alone like this?

Little horse...

Shall we go back and save Brother Ye?

Go!

I say go!

I'm going to beat you if you don't go!

Why is this horse as stubborn as I am?

You are forcing me

I say go!

Go!

Go...

Brother Ye, I'm here to save you!

Why did you come back? Leave now!

Stop it!

Leave me alone and go, Brother Ye!

Stop!

One more step and she's dead

Bring them back to Yamen

and interrogate them about the whereabouts of the mayor

Brother Zhu!

Are you all right, Sister Yi Huan?

Let me look at it

Luckily it is just some abrasion

What are you doing?

You've put both yourself and Junior Ye in danger

Eldest Senior, let's not blame her anymore

She only came back because she was worried about my safety

Don't you know where you stand?

Next time, if you are in such situation, run first

Don't stay there and make things difficult

That isn't what loyalty is about. That is plain foolishness

Sister Fan, look at this

Isn't it beautiful? I keep it especially for you

It is the most beautiful hairpin in the brothel

I also have a few beautiful clothes for you

I'll show you later

Such a hairpin will be wasted if I wear it

Why don't you give it to Sister Xue?

I think it suits her

Sister Fan, don't you say that again

That makes me feel guilty of it

Don't be sad. You are not to be blamed for my injury

Junior, your pulse indicates that you are deeply injured

No wonder you can't even handle Sun Fu's guards

Before I came to Yuan Zhou

I overdid my practice and became too obsessed with it

Luckily Senior Xue found out and saved me in time

only then I was able to cheat death

But I am still slightly injured

I don't want you to be worried

that is why I told Senior Xue not to tell you

You must have been too restless, and hence you developed the obsession

Brother Ye, do you have any worry that you didn't tell us?

I don't think so

I was not sure how did it happen either

I will take care of myself next time

Junior Ye, I am very touched by your bravery

to save Yi Huan

Thank you for taking care of my fiancée

and your future sister-in-law

You are welcome

Qing Cheng, how do you feel now?

I'm a lot better now

Eldest Senior, did anything happen to you

after you sucked out the poison?

I'm all right

That is good

You risked yourself to save me

you are really good to me

Don't mention it

You were injured because of me

As long as you are safe, everything else doesn't matter

You don't have to worry about me being hurt

I didn't expect Yi Huan to accomplish

the mission of capturing Sun Fu on her own

Indeed. She might be lazy

but she sure is brave and thoughtful

Eldest Senior

you are always smiling

whenever you talk about the little junior

It is getting late You should rest now

We have to rush back to the Pearl Valley tomorrow

Why is there a cart out there?

Is our location being compromised?

Let me go and have a look

- Eldest Senior - Qing Cheng...

why are you here?

Your wound has not healed, you should be resting

I'm worried about you

Go!

Go!

6th Master?

Isn't she sent for a secret mission?

Why is she in Yuan Zhou?

She must have seen the sign we left

and come to look for us

6th Master!

Stop...

Your Royal Highness, Qing Cheng

- Master - I've finally found you

Your Royal Highness, tomorrow you will bring the person in the cart

back to Pearl Valley and deliver her to Prince Jin

Remember, do not hurt her nor let her escape

6th Master, who is in the cart?

Just come and have a look

6th Master, who exactly is this lady?

Why does she look exactly the same as Qing Cheng?

Her name is Shu Wan Xin, the only daughter of Shu Jian, the head of army

in Shanxi. She's one of the ladies sent to the capital for selection

I have been following her

My plan was to capture her

once she is in Beijing

while you and your friends are back in the capital too

I didn't expect she would pass through Yuan Zhou

and stay in one of the inns

So I acted ahead of the plan

Why are you doing this, 6th Master?

Because from this night onwards, Qing Cheng will become Shu Wan Xin

Do you mean that Qing Cheng will have to impersonate Shu Wan Xin

and go into the palace for selection?

That is correct. In order to find the copper box

we must find a way to sneak into the palace

This is an opportunity we can't miss

No way. This is too dangerous

Eldest Senior, this is not an impromptu plan by the 6th Master

This was long planned by the masters after due consideration

Besides undergoing the same training as you did

I was trained to be a spy in the palace all this while

Two years ago, the masters found out about my resemblance to Shu Wan Xin

They had made me learn how to imitate every single movement of hers

But if you go into the palace

and is indeed chosen by Kang Xi, you will have to become his concubine

I have no choice

In order to avenge the late Emperor

and to restore the Ming Dynasty

many people had lost their lives

How can I care so much about my innocence?

All right. We don't have much time

Qing Cheng, follow me back to Shu Wan Xin's inn

and sneak into her room

If someone realises she is gone

then we will have to give up this plan

But Qing Cheng was poisoned and is still recovering

her wound has not healed completely

She is fine. Her injury is not very serious

Qing Cheng, please go back as Shu Wan Xin to her room

Of course, I will impersonate as

Shu Wan Xin's nanny to take care of you

Your wound should be all right when we reach the capital

6th Master...

Eldest Senior...

I know that you care about me

That is all I can ask for

But now, I must...

play my part for the greater cause

By the way

Your Royal Highness please tell Prince Jin

that he must keep Shu Wan Xin as a captive in Pearl Valley

and make sure she does not escape

Or Qing Cheng will be in danger

Qing Cheng

Master

I'm sorry you have to do this

Let's go

Li Ding Guo, since I am already your captive

it is up to you whether you want to kill or torture me

Sun Fu, stop pretending as if you are not afraid to die

No one will buy your drama

Let me ask you. Where is my son, Si Xing?

Is he dead? Is he alive?

Did you surrender him to the Qing Dynasty

and was therefore given your position?

What are you laughing at?

You call yourself a hero

yet you didn't even realise this

Do you really think your son is as loyal as you are?

When Prince Ping Xi invaded Dian City

you fired two shots at your own wife and your daughter

in order to let Yong Li Emperor escape

That had already broken General Li's heart

My dear

what I owe you in this life

can only be repaid in my next life

Father! How can you be so heartless?

How could you kill your wife wh has been married to you for 20 years?

And your new-born daughter!

General Li led us

in escorting Yong Li Emperor to the point you specified

and left behind all the soldiers and the guards

to wait for you

But he left with a few of his trusted lieutenants, including myself

All of you had fought by my side for many years

But now, I have lost all will to fight

to help the Zhus in getting back the empire

But I have nowhere else to go

Gentlemen, you must decide for yourselves

whether to continue to serve the Zhus

or to go home and reunite with your family

or to surrender yourselves to the Qing Dynasty

Farewell, gentlemen

I wish you all the best

General...

Nonsense!

I don't believe Si Xing will leave me like this

I know he might be mad at me or even hated me

but he wouldn't disappear without a word all these years

You must have surrendered him to the Qing Dynasty

He must have been killed by you

I know very well that this is my last day

Since I have enjoyed my life for the past decade, I have nothing to lose

I have said my piece

it is up to you whether you want to believe my word or not

You jerk! How arrogant you are!

Tell us, where is General Li?

Fine! I will tell you

Actually

General Li had long surrendered to the Qing Dynasty

and changed his identity like I did

I wonder where he is hiding and enjoying the rest of his life

Shut up!

You are going to die yet you want to cause conflicts

Li Ding Guo aren't you feeling guilty?

You knew very well that

General Li hates you for killing your wife and your daughter

and you knew he will take revenge on you

I didn't expect that after all these years

you have become crazier

and get your own daughter to be a prostitute

in order to seduce me

Mo Sheng! How dare you kill him without our permission!

Mo Sheng! Why did you kill him?

Prince Jin, this man knew very well that he was going to die

he will never tell us the truth

but instead telling lies to defame little junior

why can't I kill him?

At least before you do

you should let us have more information about the Qing Dynasty

Can we even trust him?

But that doesn't mean you can kill him!

Father, you don't know how evil Sun Fu is

He... He teased little junior n the brothel

and now he even defamed General Li!

Father, he didn't

He was already drunk when he came in

Shut up!

If it wasn't for you, acting without permission

your seniors wouldn't have been put in danger

If you didn't make this right by capturing Sun Fu

I would have locked you up and forbid you leaving this valley again!

Father, I was wrong

I believe she did learn something from the journey

She must have understood

the importance of

her training that we gave her

It is only when you need it that you know what you are lacking

Yi Huan, you must learn your lesson

and learn more skills from your seniors

Yes, godfather

Dispose of the body

Although this Sun Fu deserves to die

Mo Sheng, you should not be this reckless again

the next time you act

Yes, I understand

I will not be this reckless again

Mo Sheng has always been calm

but when it has to do with Yi Huan...

he will be agitated

We have been watching them as they grow

there is no reason we can't tell

what they are thinking about

But children

you must remember that the most important mission for now

is to find the copper box and the first golden key

in order to retrieve the treasure map and the name list of the spies

We need them to strengthen our alliance

Do not let your emotions

affect your judgement

Yes, we understand

We shall heed your advice...

Alright. You should return to the capital at once

and resume the missions

Boss!

You're finally here, little brother

Young Master Long San have been waiting for you

I had some emergency at home. I was only back in the city last night

Send a message to Long San

tell him we will meet at the Capital's First Restaurant tonight

and he will have to buy me a meal

Sure, I'll inform him at once

Big brother, you disappeared for two months

without even informing me

I was so worried about you

I wanted to send you a word before I left

but I was stopped by my brother because it was too urgent

That is why I didn't tell you

Was it some family emergency?

But everything has been sorted out

Don't worry

It is good to know that

Come, let's drink

Welcome back

Cheers!

By the way, Brother Long if you have any emergency

send your men to Ci Hang Drugstore at the 14th Street at the East

and look for my brother, Physician Li Jian Qing

- Sure - He is the resident physician

All right

Has the Emperor found out who is the eunuch conspiring with Oboi?

Not yet, there are thousands of eunuchs in the palace

and there are hundreds of them that can come close to the Emperor

It is very likely that Oboi will know if the Emperor investigates

Hence, the Emperor can only be patient at the moment

I just want to check the progress of your detoxification

Come, let me have a look

That is good, all of the toxins have been removed

What about the Emperor?

Of course he is completely healed too

He is very happy and wishes to reward you

Really? I'm going to be rich...

Brother Long, I'm going to be rich!

Do you know that?

I'd brought many things back this time

my family was so happy when they see these things

When they are happy, I am happy too

I do feel happy for you too

my big brother

But wouldn't Oboi suspect anything

if he knows that the Emperor is all right now?

Will he think of other ways to harm the Emperor?

Speak softer! Do you think the Emperor is that stupid?

Of course he will continue to act as if he is poisoned

Moreover, the mayor of Yuan Zhou had gone missing

so Oboi is personally investigating this case

He has no time to check on what is happening in the palace

Why is the mayor of Yuan Zhou missing?

Is it possible that he was assassinated?

It is difficult to conclude

Recently, the rebels have been active in Pearl Valley

I guess the mayor's disappearance has something to do with the rebels

Oboi is getting more and more merciless with the rebels

Big brother, I know that you like to help others

But you have to be extremely careful these days

and do not do anything illegal

I understand, Brother Long

Shall we eat?

Let's eat

I've just received a word

that the court has ordered Wu San Gui

to surrender everything left by my father

regardless of their sizes and values

everything must be surrendered

But Yong Li Emperor was killed by Wu San Gui so many years ago

why did the court suddenly

ordered Wu San Gui to surrender Yong Li Emperor's belongings?

I guess it is for the first golden key

The first key was with my father

before it fell into Wu San Gui's hand

Although Wu San Gui had no idea of its function

he should able to tell it's precious for my father to keep personally

Hence he didn't surrender it to the Qing Dynasty

Now the Qing Dynasty must have learnt about the copper box

but does not wish to make Wu San Gui suspect anything

hence they are asking him to surrender

everything left by the late Emperor

Will Wu San Gui surrender the golden key?

We are not sure about that

If he happened to know the significance of it

he might be reluctant to surrender it

But if he does not know that

it is unlikely for him to risk his head

for just a golden key

Then, what should we do?

According to the intelligence from Dian City...

Wu San Gui has ordered his second son Wu Ying Qi

to escort my father's belongings to the capital

Junior Ye, Junior Fan

both of you will follow Wu Ying Qi's convoy

and try to figure out whether the golden key

is one of the belongings surrendered to the court

If it is, retrieve it

Alright, we should pack our belongings and leave at once

What is wrong, Junior Ye?

Is there a problem?

I...

I wish to stay in the capital

and work with you to find the copper box

Brother Ye, you want to stay in the capital

not because you want to help me find the copper box

but because you can't bear to leave someone, is that right?

Don't get me wrong, Eldest Senior

Junior Ye, the Head Master had told us

to obey the eldest senior's command once we leave the valley

Moreover, the mission to retrieve

the golden key from Wu Ying Qi is of utmost importance

I'm afraid I can't complete the mission without your help

All right, I understand that

I shall go pack my belongings

and leave with Senior Fan

Where is the little junior?

She went to meet Long San

I sent her to check on how the court had reacted to Sun Fu's disappearance

Brother Long, are these real gold?

Of course they are!

Don't you trust me, Big Brother?

Are you scared that I might have stolen the Emperor's reward for you?

No... I am just excited for it

I have never seen so many gold ingots in my life

This is just wonderful!
