You heard everything?

You also think l did it?

l believe it wasn't you

Why don't you suspect me?

l don't think you would use any means,

and resort to poison.

Then what if

l once did it?

You're wrong

l did poison Meng Qi You

Why would you admit to it?

You're the best person in the world to me

l believe that you would never do

anything to hurt me.

That's because you don't know me

l am a bad person

who commits endless crimes

and treats you the worst in this world

and hurts you the most!

Princess, what did the Emperor say?

I'm certain that he didn't order the poisoning

Then what did the Emperor say about this?

Originally, l wanted to use this opportunity to beg him for Qi You's release

But lately his temperament has changed dramatically

He seemed very agitated just now

l didn't dare say anything

If l provoked him,

Qi You would be in even greater danger.

But I'm afraid that if we continue waiting,

Han Cheng Emperor's situation will become progressively more dangerous.

We don't even know who is trying to kill him

It's impossible to guard against

But other than the Emperor,

who else can we count on?

Milady, you saved the Empress Dowager's life

Perhaps if you beg her...

Impossible! The Empress Dowager is an experienced schemer with deep foresight.

She will definitely not agree to releasing him

But in this palace,

aside from the Emperor and Empress Dowager,

who else can help?

Do we really

have to beg that Empress?

l think

one other person may be able to help us.

You mean Princess Lian Si?

Princess has no military power, no real power

How can she help?

Perhaps Xiao Xingan is right

The only person who can help Qi You now

is Princess Lian Si.

Immediately investigate who poisoned him

After you find him, kill him

Yes, Xiao An Zi will take care of it now

Your majesty

Humble general knows who poisoned him

Your majesty, please forgive me for my crime

You poisoned him?

l did give him the poison,

but I'm not the one who wants to kill Meng Qi You.

Your majesty, please investigate

What exactly happened?

Explain yourself clearly

Someone coerced me into giving her poison

l didn't know who she wanted to harm

If l had known it was for killing Meng Qi You,

even if l had 10 heads

l wouldn't dare give it to her! - Who was it?!

Humble general...dares not say

If you tell me,

l will reward you with a promotion.

If you don't tell me,

you will be beheaded immediately.

It...was...the Empress.

Good. Very good.

l bestow upon you the title 'Zhen Guo

General'.

Meng Qi You didn't die

Now what?

It doesn't matter whether he dies or not

didn't really want him to die.

l just wanted Ma Fu Ya to doubt

whether the Emperor poisoned him.

This way,

they will lose trust in each other.

l want Ma Fu Ya

and the Emperor to turn hostile against each other.

You slut!

l expected it would be you!

Yes, it was me

l want Ma Fu Ya to hate you

l will stop at nothing to separate you two

What?

You think l wouldn't dare touch you?

Want to depose me?

The Empress Dowager won't agree to it

If my Imperial Father finds out,

he definitely won't take it without a fight either.

Emperor!

Please calm down, Emperor!

Kill me

Kill me if you have the guts!

If l die,

Ma Fu Ya will discover

your

unspeakably shameful

big secret!

Emperor, please calm down, Emperor

Emperor please calm down!

Emperor!

You dare threaten me

You're the one who gave me something to blackmail

Several days ago,

l received a secret letter from my Imperial Father.

l then found out

how Ma Fu Ya's father

really died.

l found out

who the real mastermind was behind the scenes.

Just think

If she knew you killed her father,

how would she react?

Can you still spend a lifetime with her, with a clear conscience?

l have ways

for you to never speak the truth.

Want to bury this secret by killing me?

Then do it already!

If l die,

my father will definitely tell Ma Fu Ya about this.

The sooner l die,

the sooner she will turn against you.

Milady please calm down

Although the Emperor

dotes very much on Concubine Di,

they haven't carried out

the act between husband and wife!

Shut up! Who asked you to speak?!

Tell her if you dare

I'm not scared of you

Milady, the game you're playing is too risky

Although you have his vulnerable spot,

but will this make him

change his mind about you?

l don't even

care about that anymore.

If l can't have Lian Cheng,

no one else can either!

Don't think

this was my most ruthless, lethal move.

My most lethal move

l haven't used yet!

Milady, what are you going to do?

Didn't you just hear Xiao An Zi?

They haven't consummated their marriage yet

You've hit a dead end,

so you came to beg me?

When you're begging someone,

you should have the appropriate begging posture.

You're standing up so high

How do you expect me to help you?

l can tell that Princess likes Qi You

But as long as Qi You

stays in Northern Han,

you two will not happen.

Only if he returns to Shu Kingdom,

will you have an opportunity.

I'm never on the losing end of a bargain.

l know very clearly

If he leaves without turning back,

l will end up empty-handed.

I'd rather just leave him here

Visit him

whenever l want.

So you would rather him be unhappy?

Rather keep him in danger?

This time, the poisoning was unsuccessful

but next time,

will he still

be as lucky?

Even on my turf, Meng Qi You

treats me coldly.

If he returns to Shu Kingdom,

how would he possibly

pay any attention to me?

Besides, there's you

Are you really willing to hand him over to me?

As long as Princess can save Qi You,

l will agree to anything.

Good. l accept.

But l have one condition

Princess, please don't hesitate to name your condition

As long as it's doable,

l will agree to it.

l ask you

ls Meng Qi You

a man who takes responsibility?

Of course. What does Princess want?

l want Meng Qi You

to be responsible for me my whole life.

Princess means...

l want to be his wife

his woman.

Alright

The same poison

has appeared in Northern Han.

This can't be a mere coincidence

You can't poison me

Not giving up so easily?

Fu Ya! How did you get in?

l heard you were almost poisoned

so l thought of a way to bribe the guard.

How did you know?

Xiao Xingan told me

Xiao Xingan?

It seems

If I'm freed one day,

l should thank her.

You must be terribly hungry

There's also wine?

You're so thorough

It wouldn't thorough without these

Tonight

you owe me my wedding night.

Come here

Yes

l should give you

a proper wedding night.

Originally l wanted to return to Shu Kingdom

and give you a wedding ceremony,

for the entire world to admire.

But under the present circumstances, we can only have it here.

You have suffered

Don't say that

We finally drank our nuptial wine

This is our special night in the wedding chamber.

This wine is so strong

So strong

Qi You

Will you always remember me?

You won't blame me?

Silly girl

Don't leave, Fu Ya

Where are you going?

Don't leave, Fu Ya

You can go in

Princess! How was it?

Princess!

Princess, don't be too sad

What are you doing?

Xiao Xingan, you don't recognize me?

Crown Prince?

It's almost morning

We'll be discovered

Why is it you?!

It was me all along

You planned this

You forced her to plan this!

Right?

How did l force her?

Ma Fu Ya did this willingly!

Shameless!

l like someone

How am l shameless?

l am after all a princess

If l didn't like you,

would l use such a low method?

I'm telling you

In my entire life,

what l hate most is those that scheme

against me.

Get lost. Get lost!

This isn't only my fault!

If it wasn't for Ma Fu Ya,

would l be able to do it?!

Furthermore,

if she didn't come and find me,

l wouldn't have thought up such a plan.

Why did she come to plead you?

She obviously pleaded me to help you.

Qi You.

Everybody says that,

''once a husband and wife's relationship

has been made,

their bond will continue to be strong.''

Now that we've become husband and

wife,

can't you just be a bit nicer to me?

Get out.

Get lost.

Alright, I'll get out.

I'll leave right now!

I'll leave and I'll let everybody know!

Go.

At the worst, it'll be death for me.

Go and make it known.

Go!

You're not scared of death, right?

Then what about Ma Fu Ya?

What if..

Ma Fu Ya dies instead?

She had her share in this matter too.

The Empress definitely won't

pardon her.

I'm telling you

if you dare bring Fu Ya into this,

I'll definitely kill you!

Alright.. alright.

If you kill me, you'll have to die too.

When that time comes, it'll be me and you.

We'll be together.

We'll go to hell together.

That'll be too good.

I'll be able to have you for myself.

I'll no longer have to worry about

Ma Fu Ya

stealing you away from me.

Then let me tell you.

In my heart,

there is only Ma Fu Ya.

Understand?

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter at all.

In this life,

as long as l can be with you

guarding you, watching you,

it's enough.

Get out.. get out!

She's awake!

Sister, you're awake.

I'm Du Yun.

Brother Yun.. you're really Brother Yun?

Sister, it's me.

I'm your younger brother, Du Yun.

I'm not dreaming, right?

It's not a dream, it's me!

It's really me!

I'm still alive.

Your Brother Yun is still alive!

Brother Yun, I've finally found you!

Sister has finally found you!

I've finally found you!

All these years,

I've been trying to find you

but l haven't heard any news from you.

Have you been through a lot

during these years?

Nothing much.

At that time, l was severely injured,

my leg was broken,

there was a good person, he saved me.

l became his slave.

Doing hard chores in exchange for food.

Sister, don't be upset.

At least l survived.

Compared to those who were beaten to

death,

I'm not unfortunate.

Yes, exactly.

The Crown Prince has become

a general of Northern Han.

Not unfortunate, not unfortunate.

Oh yes.

Then afterwards,

how did you come to Northern Han?

My owner

wanted to sell me initially.

l took the chance to escape.

Northern Han then began a war

with the Kingdom of Shu.

l found a way into the army.

l guess l was lucky,

l managed to achieve some military credit

and l won the appreciation of the Emperor

so he continued to promote me

until my current position.

It must be Father

protecting you in the Heavens.

But the Princess already came to Northern

Han..

Crown Prince,

why didn't you come and admit yourself to

us?

Yes, that day when l saw you,

although you've changed a lot in

appearance,

l felt that it was you.

Why didn't you come and admit your

identity to me?

Sister, your identity in Northern Han

is special, you've garnered many

enemies.

If the two of us made our relationship

public,

if you are to have any trouble in the future

Sister,

l won't have a chance or a place to help you in secret.

That's why l didn't dare to at the time.

Sister, please don't hate me for it.

Why would l?

It's good that you're so considerate and

thoughtful.

You've thought through everything

carefully.

Why would l hate you?

Do you know?

Mother is still alive!

Really? Mother is still alive?!

Where is she?

She's in the Kingdom of Shu.

If she sees us both go back,

she'll definitely be very happy.

What is it?

Sister.

At the moment,

l don't plan to go see Mother in Shu Kingdom yet.

Why?

You don't want to see Mother?

Of course not!

But in Northern Han,

l just gained power and position.

l want to use their troops to restore Chu Kingdom.

When l take our great revenge and welcome mother back,

then l will be a real man with achievements.

then l will be worthy before Imperial Father's heavenly spirit.

Brother Yun

After going through so much,

l really feel that being reunited with family is the most important.

Come back with me

Sister

You came for Meng Qi You

If Meng Qi You doesn't leave, would you leave?

How's my body?

Replying to Milady,

your body is healthy

just easily irritable.

It shouldn't be a big problem

With several doses of medicine,

your irritability will naturally subside.

So it's excessive anger

Lately l often feel nauseous

l even thought l was pregnant

What a disappointment

If you were pregnant,

how could l not report it to Milady?

If l say it's pregnancy,

it must be pregnancy.

You dare disobey my order?

This is a big problem

l dare not deceive the Emperor

Milady is really not pregnant

Who wants you to tell the Emperor

that Empress is pregnant?

l want you to report to the Emperor

that the Niang Niang in Hong Luan Palace is pregnant.

Emperor!

Let's stop practicing

It's already been two hours

If you continue,

your body won't be able to take it.

Why torture yourself like this?

l just want to be with you

and live a simple, ordinary life.

l perform with the sword. You enjoy the flowers.

When I'm tired,

you wipe away my sweat like you just did.

When l was young,

happiness was obtained very easily.

But after growing up,

l realized that

simplicity is a form of happiness.

We have the same fate

We can't even enjoy

the simplest happiness.

Let's leave the palace together

and live ordinary, happy lives, OK?

We'll never be separated

What's the matter? You don't want to?

I've given up so much for you

and you're not willing?

Your Majesty, you should know

a matter of saying you can let go,

and actually being able to.

l know

What you're unwilling to let go of.. is him!

Milady

Fu Ya!

Milady

Quickly summon the imperial physician!

Yes Fu Ya!

Milady

Emperor, the imperial physician is here

Quickly! See what's wrong with her.

Congratulations your majesty

Imperial concubine is with child

What did you say? You didn't make an error in your diagnosis?

Replying to your majesty,

she is indeed undoubtedly with child.

Say that again

What's wrong with her?

Replying to your majesty, she's...she's pregnant.

l...l swear by the heavens

It is absolutely not a lie

Leave, leave, leave! Quickly! Leave!

Heavens bless my court

The Emperor finally has a son

l didn't have to lie

and got a chest of gold for doing nothing.

l must quickly report this good news

to the Empress Dowager.

Xiao An Zi, what happened?

Uh

Reporting to Empress Dowager,

this imperial physician made careless diagnoses and provoked the Emperor.

Out of anger, the Emperor

executed him on the spot.

Clean it up quickly

Get rid of him

Yes

Cheng er

Why be bothered by that imperial physician?

Don't upset yourself

Why is Mother suddenly here?

Yan er

This is your wrongdoing

If there's something,

you should directly report it to me.

Why trouble the Empress Dowager?

Replying to the Emperor,

Empress Dowager heard that Concubine Di was not well

She was extremely worried, and specially came to visit

Actually Concubine Di has exceptional medical skills herself

and did not need the imperial physician to make this trip

and lose his life.

Poor medical skills...

what's the use in keeping him?

You're right

Cheng er

What illness is Concubine Di suffering from?

It's nothing, just minor ailments

Milady!

Milady! Bad news!

What's happened to make you this flustered?

The imperial physician...is dead!

Did the Emperor do it?

Yes, the Emperor killed him himself

Milady, won't this cause

our plan to fail completely?

No, you're wrong

We have hugely succeeded

Just think

Why did the Emperor kill the imperial physician?

To silence him?

Yes

His heart is shrouded by doubts.

At the moment, the Emperor is doubting

Ma Fu Ya's chastity and loyalty.

No man would be able to stand such humiliation

Not to mention

the Emperor, who rises above all others.

l just want to destroy the affection between Ma Fu Ya and the Emperor.

Now, he is already starting to doubt Ma Fu Ya's chastity and loyalty.

The imperial physician's death works in our favor

The dead cannot talk

This way, l won't have to worry

about being caught and blamed.

Are you sure she's pregnant?

It's true, it's actually true

What's wrong?

It's nothing

Concubine Di is pregnant with my child!

I'm happy!

I'm happy! Understand?

How can you impregnate your enemy's woman with your child?

Aren't you afraid of the hidden danger in the future?

Shut up!

She's not the enemy's woman. She's my woman!

She only belongs to me!

You're deceiving yourself!

She came for Meng Qi You

She doesn't even love you!

It's fine if she doesn't love me

l will do everything within my power

to make her fall in love with me.

If l had known earlier that you love beauty

before country,

l wouldn't have helped you back then!

Why did l go through so much misery and hardship?

Everyday, l devoted my life to making deadly poisons

Epilepsy drug, Nian Nu Jiao

Peacock gall, Red-crowned crane

Every one of these poisons is a result of my sacrifice and devotion!

l almost died from making and testing these poisons

What was my purpose?

It was all for you!

My imperial brother

My only relative in the world

Now, because of that woman...

I've lost my hope in you
