Hey, hello everyone.
My name is Mr.
Yaro!
And today in this video, I want to talk about chemistry.
A little bit about chemistry and especially about three states of matter.
So as you know, the matter around us have different states.
It can be solid, liquid or gas.
Also, we know that all matter made of molecules.
In gas condition, all molecules placed really rare from each other.
In the liquid condition
the molecules placed more closer to each other.
But in solid condition they all together.
Like close close to each other.
Between molecules we can find a special connection named Bonds.
So more bonds - more connections, more stronger material.
And right now I want to make one experiment.
In this chemical experiment
I well make more bonds between molecules in liquid.
And this liquid will become stronger.
More bonds can make special chemical named cross-linker.
So let's start!
For this experiment I need 50 milliliters of PVA.
Next, I will add shaving foam.
Just a little bit
Toothpaste.
And two food colors, blue
and rose.
Now I need to mix it well.
Okay.
Okay.
And now it's time for final ingredient.
I will add this cross linker.
This is soduim borate.
And sodium borate can create more bonds between this molecules.
I will add 2.5 milliliters of this solution.
Now it's time to mix.
The time of reaction approximately two to four minutes.
And all the time I need to mix it well.
Look at this sticky liquid.
Eeeeeeee.
So we call it slime.
It's not liquid.
It's not solid too.
It's something in the middle.
Well, slime can be different.
Can be very gooey.
Or very chunky - very solid.
For example, this one.
Look,.
not so sticky, even can the jump.
So I hope you can make slime at home and have fun with it.
See you next time.
Bye.
Bye.
