(Episode 10)

- Sorry. - It's fine.

This is...

Agent Han. What's wrong?

Look... Blood...

Aren't you...

the center director Kang Kwon Joo?

Sleep tight

We've...

met once before.

My baby, sleep tight

Sleep tight, sleep tight

It's the same voiceprint as the Circus Man's.

In 2008, a male murderer in Australia...

became flexible due to female hormones...

his female identity released, and escaped through a small window.

On top of that, there were cases in the UK and Canada...

in which the killers reduced the size of their bodies...

with hormones and shapewear to confuse the cops.

Freeze.

Dong Bang Min?

Director Kang. Circus Man is Dong Bang Min.

There were cases where men changed body shapes due to female hormones.

It would be even harder to tell if he wore special equipment.

I didn't know...

the dissociative identity disorder was this hard to predict.

Do you hear me?

You think you can catch me with this little thing?

Now you need to pay for interrupting us.

Director Kang.

Detective Cho. Director Kang...

went to Doram Shopping Center to see someone suspected to be Circus Man.

There's something inside!

So, how shall I rip you up?

No, she's your Siamese twin!

Get out, you fool!

Darn it!

(Voice 4)

(The Birth of Circus Man, Episode 10)

(Look in the mirror. The face that pins you...)

(with its double gaze reveals a chastening secret.)

(Diane Ackerman)

What's this?

Darn it.

My heart almost dropped.

Who drives around with this in their car?

What's that noise?

- Wasn't it a gun? - It sounded like a gunshot, right?

A gunshot?

- Should we call it in? - Why would there be a gunshot?

No!

Darn you!

This time it's for real.

Detective.

He is Circus Man.

You punk. You're smiling?

Get up!

Why did you do it? Why did you kill my sister?

Are you that brat's brother?

The arrogant wench tried to lecture me.

What?

Detective Cho, no!

- Let go! - Don't do it.

- Let me go! - Detective Cho!

Let go!

I think he fainted.

He's putting on a show. It's fake!

- Agent Han, call 911. - Okay.

Detective Cho. Detective Cho!

Send an ambulance to Doram Shopping Center.

Calm down, will you?

(7:30pm Director Kang Kwon Joo Attack Case Closed)

Who will tag along?

I'll watch Dong Bang Min. Wrap up here and follow.

Okay.

What? Dong Bang Min?

Yes. He spoke through many personalities and attacked me.

He's definitely the killer we've been chasing for killing the family.

He passed out during arrest...

and is on his way to Vimo Island Hospital.

Help us get an arrest or custody warrant.

Take him to the hospital first.

I'll send Director Yang over to see how things are.

Okay.

Call Captain Park for backup...

and check the scene for extra evidence.

I'll head over to the hospital.

Okay.

Yes, hello.

What?

What do you mean?

Min could be the person...

who killed Detective Cho's sister?

Yes.

I'll head over to Vimo Island Hospital now.

The first thing we must prepare for this ceremony...

is respect for the deity and an obedient heart.

The second is a pure body and soul.

An unclean body cannot house a new spirit.

Yes.

The day you become a new person...

is the day you must be most pure.

Until then, keep your bodies clean and safe.

- Yes, Mother. - Yes, Mother.

Seeing you all today...

reminds me of the day Yeon Yi became a new person.

She was sweet and pretty,

and the deity was greatly pleased in her.

We have to leave.

We must burn their clothes and underwear before the ceremony.

Okay, go.

Goodbye.

Hey, you. Child.

You are not old enough yet,

and insisted on taking part in the New Person Ceremony.

My mom said that...

if I spend a night in the stone house,

my leg will be healed.

Sir! Sir, I have bad news.

You can go. Go ahead.

Why the loud noise?

I apologize.

It's very serious, sir.

Gwi Nam called.

Master Min lost consciousness and was taken to hospital,

and the cops are calling him a murderer.

Call Commissioner General Kam.

Yes, sir.

Okay.

Detective Shim, this is Dong Bang Min's car.

It's not real blood, is it?

(Makeup, Red Blood)

There are traces in the back seat that shows there were other props.

Did he take them indoors?

Detective Shim.

There's a makeup artistry school in this building.

I remember seeing it as I pass by on my way to work.

I'll check. Stay here until Dispatch arrives.

Okay.

I figured out something important, didn't I?

Yes. I have a great eye for detail.

I was born to be a cop.

Agent Han.

- What happened? - You made it.

I got a message from someone called CCman.

I found it too weird.

So I kept the person on the line...

and told Director Kang,

and she believed me...

Okay, well done.

Dong Bang Min, that punk.

So he's really asleep?

This patient sleepwalks.

He was prescribed melatonin for a long time.

A symptom of serious sleep-walking...

is violence.

Could that be why he attacked you?

He has Polypersonal Delusion Disorder.

I saw him speak in different personalities myself.

He even tried to stab me while making eye contact.

Polypersonal Delusion Disorder?

That's a serious mental illness.

- Min! Where is he? - Over here.

What's going on?

- Min... - Leave. Get out.

Dong Bang Min attacked the police...

and is a suspect of the Sanggae-dong murders.

- Wait outside. Now get out. - Wait.

I'm Dong Bang Hyeon Yup from Sonang Village.

I don't know what department you're from,

but get out of the way before something worse happens.

I'm Inspector Kang Kwon Joo with the Golden Time Team.

This is Inspector Derek Cho.

Dong Bang Min attacked an on-duty officer...

and was arrested on site.

You people don't know who I am.

I talked to Commissioner General Kam on the way here.

There's no need for this misunderstanding.

My grandson wouldn't do such a thing.

If my grandson attacked an officer,

wouldn't you people be the ones lying in this bed?

Am I wrong?

"My family wouldn't do such a thing."

Do you think that explains everything away?

Quit being delusional and listen carefully.

Whoever you are, you have no right...

to demand we release a red-handed criminal.

Until he is cleared, follow police instructions.

- Get out. - What is wrong with you?

- Let go. - A walking cane is a weapon too.

- What? - Do not wield it like this.

Let go!

That's enough.

- Grandpa. - Min.

What happened to me?

Why am I in handcuffs?

Dong Bang Min, you're under arrest for the Jugang, Yangyeong,

and Sanggae-dong murders,

and for the attack of Director Kang Kwon Joo.

- Get up. - What are you doing?

Get up!

What on earth are you talking about?

Did I...

walk about while I was asleep again?

What?

I remember going to Doram Shopping Center.

That happens to me at times.

I fall asleep on my bed, but I wake up somewhere else.

My doctor says...

I sleepwalk.

Don't lie to me.

You attacked me earlier as a different personality.

You lured us into that shopping center garage.

I...

I went to donate my supplies...

to the makeup artistry school there.

If you don't believe me, you can call them right now.

I must've fallen asleep again in the parking garage.

I don't remember from that moment on.

Anyway,

I sincerely apologize if I caused confusion in your investigation

What's this?

Does the original personality...

not know what the other personalities do?

- Don't give me that garbage. - Let go of him!

You don't sleepwalk, you have dissociative identity disorder.

Don't you remember what you said to me earlier?

Who are you right now?

- Which personality are you? - Hey!

- Let go. - Who are you?

- Let go. - There must be a misunderstanding.

- Let go. - Let's go. It's a misunderstanding.

- Let go! Get over here! - Detective Cho.

- He has multiple personalities. - Detective.

- We need to lock him up! - Detective Cho.

Min.

Min.

That's enough for today.

The commissioner said to settle things and come in.

You want us to let a murderer go?

Have you lost your mind?

I'll lock him up in a mental hospital right now.

No doctor here will diagnose Min of that.

It'll only delay the investigation.

In other words, the jerks from that village...

will band together to get him out,

so I should give up in advance. Is that it?

You don't even have solid evidence.

You're the victim's family too.

You know it'll be a mess if they take issue of that.

- Director Yang. - Darn it.

Dong Bang Min is speaking the truth.

He doesn't seem to be aware of the other personalities.

If you're done talking, would you please uncuff me?

What?

You'll lock me up in a mental hospital?

Stop crossing the line.

Listen, Circus Man.

I don't care what garbage you say. Now that I've found you,

you can't run away from me.

That punk. Listen to him talk.

You disrespectful jerk.

It's okay, Grandpa. It's understandable...

if he mistook me for some serial killer.

Although, I'm not.

But Detective Cho.

You were gentle when we first met, but I see great anger...

in your eyes today.

I'm a makeup artist, so it's a habit to read people's expressions.

- You jerk. - Stop it.

That's enough.

I need to talk to you.

It doesn't matter how mad you get. He's Dong Bang Min right now.

And...

(I recorded the attack earlier when he attacked me.)

We should be able to get a detention warrant for assault.

Let's get him in custody and look for evidence of the murders.

Dong Bang Min.

I'll watch and see just how long you can pretend...

not to know anything.

And just wait.

I'll kill you soon.

You should take Min home.

I'll call you later.

This is why I hate outsiders.

Go tell Commissioner General Kam...

that if they mess with my grandson again,

they'll have to answer me.

Don't forget...

who puts food on your table.

Yes, sir.

But sir.

Isn't it better to remove all doubt?

Even if it's family.

What?

That...

Goodness. You fool.

You should've told me...

if you developed an unusual illness like that.

It'll cause bigger problems if you suffer alone.

This is why I didn't tell you.

It's like sleepwalking.

- Like talking in my sleep. - You...

I stopped taking my medicine since it got better for a few days,

but it kicked right back in.

I swear...

I'll make those jerks pay.

Tell Man Taek to come right over.

Yes, sir.

It's okay, Grandpa.

Why doesn't Dong Bang Min have the swirl-shaped tattoo...

on his wrist?

I'm sure he erased it like his consciousness.

I thought I saw an earphone in his ear earlier.

Maybe it's a hearing aid.

I heard a German company...

invented a hearing aid that lets you hear sounds from 100m away.

Let's listen to the recording.

Now,

you'll have to pay for getting in our way.

So, how shall I rip you up?

No, she's your Siamese twin!

Get out, you fool!

Darn it!

This is enough.

I think he has three personalities.

Three?

The man who sings the lullaby,

the woman who impersonates you, and there's a third?

Yes.

No, she's your Siamese twin!

Get out, you fool!

This part. The rough, deep male voice.

It seemed like the most violent personality.

He sounded like he had asthma every time he spoke.

It sounds like the female personality helped you.

Do you know why?

I haven't figured out that personality.

Why she emailed me...

or why she saved me.

It'll come naturally once we figure out what they look like,

That will give us the conclusive evidence.

And just wait.

I'll kill you soon.

Very painfully.

I think he said he'd kill him.

Why didn't you get that wound on your neck treated?

Oh, this.

It's just a nick.

Anyway, what you said earlier...

This is Dispatch Four.

Director. Dong Bang Min came to Doram Shopping Center...

to go to the makeup artistry school in the building.

(Vimo Makeup Artistry School)

The director says Dong Bang Min is going around...

donating supplies to the schools in the area.

That jerk has a solid alibi.

But... You arrested him, right?

It's complicated.

I'll explain at the station.

Questioning people will be fruitless for the time being...

since everyone likes him, and given his grandfather's influence.

Especially if he doesn't remember the other personalities.

Let's find Joo Bum Tae's gaming friend that Saet Byeol mentioned.

- His gaming friend? - Yes.

His ID is Ranger.

He and Joo Bum Tae were close enough to talk about the Circus Man.

We should be able to get much more information from him.

I'll tell them to look for him.

Detective Park. I want you and Agent Han to search...

the Circus Pierrot community for someone who goes by Ranger.

He knows Joo Bum Tae and the Circus Man well.

Yes, ma'am. I'll head back to the station and start right away.

This is why I never grow up, Grandpa.

You're only big in size. You're still a child in my eyes.

Why are you being so stubborn? Let's go back to Sonang Village.

Young Master.

My gosh. Sir.

Young Master. Are you badly hurt?

I'm fine. I'm really fine.

I'm going to go upstairs and rest. I'll see you next time.

It's fine.

Hey, Man Taek.

Yes, sir.

You must be going through a lot...

looking after Min.

Not at all, sir.

It's not much trouble.

Young Master has been nice to me,

so I'm grateful.

Has Min been acting like a different person...

or has he ever blown up at you?

My gosh, no. He'd never do that.

But there's one thing.

He's been having some friends over lately.

Sometimes, I hear a woman's voice too.

What?

He said he's never had a woman over. Maybe he's embarrassed.

I guess...

he has a new girlfriend.

He's old enough now.

Of course.

If he doesn't say anything first,

don't ask him about it.

Of course not. I wouldn't dare to.

Can you just move in...

and look after him?

Yes, sir. I'll excuse myself then.

Dong Bang Min, you're under arrest for the Jugang, Yangyeong,

and Sanggae-dong murders,

and for the attack of Director Kang Kwon Joo.

Don't lie to me.

You attacked me earlier as a different personality.

And just wait.

I'll kill you soon.

Very painfully.

It can't be.

I killed someone?

It's impossible.

We only crossed paths briefly, but you remember me.

So much that I wanted to rip off...

that pretty little face of yours.

How will you pay your price?

No... It can't be.

Right. This is just...

I'm just imagining things.

No, no...

I found Ranger.

Name, Kim Hae Cheol.

And his address is Maeyang-gil, Maeyang-gu,

Yangyeong, Gangwon Province.

If I could recover Moon Ah Ram and Joo Bum Tae's history like this,

I'd have caught Circus Man long ago.

Is this Maeyang Patrol Station?

This is Detective Park Eun Soo...

of the Golden Time Team in Vimo Provincial Police Agency.

We need to conduct an indirect inquiry...

on a student who lives in your jurisdiction.

Hold on.

His name is Kim Hae Cheol.

And his resident registration number is 051106-301182.

Sorry?

What happened?

They say Kim Hae Cheol is on Vimo Island right now.

Mr. Kwak.

I'm okay now,

so you should go back to Sonang Village and get some rest.

No, I can't.

Your grandfather asked me to look after you.

Goodness, he's unbelievable.

Okay, then. I'll go pick up my car.

Let me.

I'll go get it. Give me the key.

Do you know where it is?

It's at Doram Shopping Center...

A makeup artistry school I often go to is there.

Never mind. I'll just pick it up tomorrow.

It's all right. I'll go get it.

It's that place we went to last time, right?

It'll take a while, so you should go to bed first.

Thank you.

It's dark, so drive safely.

I will.

Why?

Why did you pop out and ruin everything?

Kang Kwon Joo is my Siamese twin.

We can't kill her like that.

Shut it!

If it hadn't been for you...

Please stop quarreling, will you?

I told you not to go there in the first place.

I told you there are police everywhere and that it's a trap!

You guys never listen.

We have no time to fight.

We need to work together to survive.

If you don't want all of us to disappear at once,

we should get rid of the evidence...

before the police get here.

Gosh, it's become a mess again.

Stop me if you can!

I'm going to tear you apart before that.

So you're saying this is Dong Bang Min's other personality?

That's right.

Isn't it too early to jump to conclusions?

They're saying that he sleepwalks.

No, it's not just sleepwalking.

He became a completely different person and attacked me.

Still, arresting him...

A patient like him is roaming about the island,

and you're just going to sit back...

and get scared of the local influentials?

I'll prove that he murdered three families...

and Cho Seung Ah in two days,

so arrest Dong Bang Min this instant.

Do you think you can handle it if he's not the real culprit?

Dong Bang Hyeon Yup, the grandfather of Dong Bang Min,

is the most influential man on this island.

If that old man is that influential as you say,

then it'll be a piece of cake for him...

to get his grandson out of the country tonight.

If you don't request a warrant this second,

I'll expose how uncooperative...

the Korean police was as soon as I return.

And I'll make you pay.

Hey, Detective Cho.

Ma'am.

We don't know how many more murders Circus Man will commit.

If you don't make a rational decision now,

the residents of this island might be in danger.

Ma'am.

I also agree...

with Director Kang on this matter.

I'll try my best...

to have the warrant reviewed early in the morning,

so let's do this to check the facts.

Then...

you should take responsibility and file the arrest warrant.

Director Yang will file the arrest warrant.

It'll be ready by tomorrow morning.

Director Kang.

We found out who Ranger is.

His name is Kim Hae Cheol.

He's 17 and a high school dropout who used to live in Yangyeong.

He got caught for stealing at a sauna.

His statement showed that he had been bullied for a long time.

There's no youth detention center in Yangyeong.

That's why they sent him here.

Okay, thanks. Request a special interview.

Will do.

Let's go.

Yes, it's me. It looks like Director Kang and Detective Cho...

have managed to persuade the commissioner in person.

I think Director Yang will go ahead and request an arrest warrant.

Darn it. Why must he keep getting in the way?

Right. You got the info on the Golden Time Team, right?

As for the detective from the US, I'll keep digging.

Okay, thanks.

Sir, Gwi Nam said...

those at the police headquarters fully trust...

Director Kang and the Golden Time Team.

Derek Cho is the detective from the US.

Apparently, his mother took her own life in Vimo Island,

so he and his sister were adopted together from an orphanage here.

His mother died here?

Yes.

Find out more about that detective and his mother.

Will do.

One more thing.

See if anyone on the Golden Time Team...

could be useful for us.

Find out.

(Vimo Youth Detention Center)

Aren't you Ranger in the Circus Pierrot community?

How did you know?

So what? I didn't do anything bad.

Saet Byeol told me...

that you were closest to Bum Tae in the community.

Kill4? She's so full of herself.

And she's got a big mouth.

Shouldn't you be studying for the GED? What are you doing here?

I'm an advanced-level player,

so I wanted to save my face.

I couldn't tell them I was going to juvie...

for stealing a phone in the sauna. How embarrassing is that?

I guess you want to get me roped into this with Bum Tae, but no way.

We came here hoping to clear Bum Tae's name.

There must've been a reason you two became close.

Tell us everything he told you.

My goodness.

That idiot...

was like a gopher until the day he died.

Just like me.

Maybe something was wrong with his head from all the beatings.

He told me out of the blue...

that a female cop called Circus Man was interested in him.

He said she was older than him. She messaged him first.

(New Message)

I know how you feel.

What's this nonsense?

She said she could help him, so he tested her.

He asked her...

to get rid of all the bullies if she were a real cop.

- Hey, look! Hurry! - What's going on?

- My gosh. - Serves them right!

- Nice. - Finally.

Then within a few days, all the bullies...

were either transferred or expelled. That made him so happy.

(October 27, Gift)

But it makes no sense.

I said, "What kind of crazy cop would help you?"

I yelled at him.

But that woman suddenly changed and told him to return the favor.

Old people disgust me. Kill them all.

Why must they bother to eat and keep on living?

Get out of there.

Just stab those old geezers.

It's a bit too salty.

Yes. Hey, where are you going? Finish your food.

I'm done. I'm full.

Gosh, that brat. He only had four spoons of rice.

What do you know?

Shut it.

Those bullies want to know who ratted them out.

Should I tell them you did it?

You have until Christmas Eve.

Tie those old pigs with string lights,

feed them chicken poop, and send me a video of it.

(If they don't do as you say,)

(threaten to kill them with the knife from their chicken farm.)

Worrying won't solve anything, so let's just eat.

So I told him to change his number and just lie low,

but he talked some nonsense like, "She can hear very well,"

"so she'll find me no matter where I hide."

By any chance,

did he ever tell you that he was approached by a man too?

Yes, he did.

That female cop told him that her friends...

would teach him a big lesson if he didn't do as she said.

One of them was...

Apparently, he carries a double-bitted ax everywhere.

A kidnapper who is short but very strong.

A kidnapper who is short?

Yes.

I thought he had totally lost it, so I stopped talking to him.

But just a few days after that, I saw on the news...

that he killed his grandparents and also killed himself.

But you know,

he was never such a scumbag.

He was a good kid.

Can you say what you just told us in court too?

Yes, sure.

What? An arrest warrant?

Yes. We'll use the warrant to buy some time...

and try to find evidence to prove that Dong Bang Min is Circus Man.

Director Kang and Detective Cho...

went to the youth detention center to meet Joo Bum Tae's friend.

My goodness. I heard that old man...

is highly respected among the people on the island.

Now, his grandson will ruin everything for him.

We must get to the bottom of this...

to make sure to arrest him.

I heard about what happened.

You saved Director Kang's life.

I just did my job.

Yes, well done.

Let's stay strong and focused.

On that note, how about we order some jjajangmyeon?

Sounds good.

[VIU Ver] tvN E10 'Voice 4' "The Birth of Circus Man" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥- Synced with Subcake Android

The new detective on the Golden Time Team.

Do you know about the trouble he caused in the past?

Oh, Shim Dae Shik?

Are you talking about what he did in the other precinct?

I think Director Kang got him this job.

Does he have some serious connections?

Oh, everyone knows!

My gosh, the Golden Time Team...

People hate how they go poking around in everyone's business.

They'll be furious if they find out about this new guy now.

Mind your own business and do your job well.

(Visitation Room)

If what I'm thinking is right,

one of his alter egos must've planned the murder.

And his delusional disorder...

was probably caused by a past traumatic event.

Hold on.

He said the kidnapper was short.

Could it be...

(Director Kang Kwon Joo)

Yes, ma'am.

Agent Han, I need you to look into something for me.

(Kidnapper Returns to the Scene 3 Hours After Murdering the Victim)

Agent Han, we're ordering some Chinese food. What do you want?

Just a minute.

What are you doing?

Director Kang asked me to find out...

if Dong Bang Min was kidnapped in the past.

Detective Park.

("Vimo Daily")

(Dong Bang Min Kidnapped)

Hey, Agent Han.

Ma'am, I found it.

Dong Bang Min was kidnapped in 1997.

I'll send you the info on the kidnapper.

His name is Eom Seok Gu.

He owned a small toy company.

He supplied string lights and decorative objects...

to the shrine in Sonang Village.

He said he did it out of anger for not getting paid.

The problem is, he didn't return the child...

even after Dong Bang Hyeon Yup paid him.

I see here that Eom Seok Gu suffered from asthma.

But Eom Seok Gu suddenly took his own life in his motel room,

so Dong Bang Min was able to come back home.

Eom Seok Gu took his own life?

Yes. The person who first called it in...

was Kwak Man Taek, a guy in the room next to his.

But some odd things are coming up as related keywords.

Eom Seok Gu's father was his only family.

But in the petition filed by his father,

he claimed Eom Seok Gu didn't commit suicide,

but that Eom Seok Gu was murdered.

There are local newspaper articles...

that say Eom Seok Gu used to donate and volunteer often.

What is going on here?

Anyway, I'll send you everything we found.

Okay, thanks.

(Petition by Eom Tae Su)

(Your Honor, I am Eom Seok Gu 's father.)

According to the father's petition,

it may have been staged to look like a suicide.

(He looked like he was tortured. The police cremated his body.)

Detective. The officer who investigated this case...

was Koo Hyung Tae, who investigated your mother's case.

(Detective Koo Hyung Tae, who headed the investigation)

That's when the crimes began.

And this double-bitted ax here.

("Dong Bang Hyeon Yup's Grandson Found After Kidnapping!")

It has the same cross-section as the other weapons in the reports.

We just have to find it in Dong Bang Min's house.

Young Master, I've brought your car.

Young Master...

What... What happened here?

What is this?

A burglar.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master. Where are you?

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Gosh. What is this place?

I didn't know this was down here.

Young Master.

Are you in here?

What is this place?

Is it his workshop?

Goodness. Why did he leave this here?

Young... Young Master.

I... I'm mistaken, right?

That...

That is a mannequin...

that you made, right?

You're lying since you're in a crunch.

Hold on.

I got it. Okay.

Mr. Kwak.

Good luck.

Young Master. What are you doing?

How have you been?

It has been 24 years.

Why are you doing this?

Why are you changing your voice all of a sudden?

Don't you remember?

That day is still clear in my mind.

The day my body burst and blood gushed out...

because of the beatings from you jerks.

What...

What are you talking about?

I cried and begged for my life,

but you jerks strangled me with this and just laughed at me.

How do you remember that, Young Master?

Every single moment of my life,

I contemplated how to kill you.

How should I kill you to make it the most excruciating?

But that runt Min came crawling out every single time,

and I had no choice but to let you live.

Now, let's end our sickening relationship.

Help!

Stay back.

Stay back!

Stay back.

Stay back!

Stay back.

Stay back.

Stay back!

- Hello, sir. - Hello.

Hello.

- Hello. - It's good to see you.

- Hello. - Hello, sir.

Hello.

Hello.

Our great spirit.

We've gathered here to pray.

Our great spirit...

wants all of us from Sonang Village to always be healthy...

and to enjoy ourselves. That is what he wants.

In that case,

what do you think is the most important?

It is...

your health. Health.

This is water specially made for you...

ordered by our great spirit to completely heal you...

of your pains and chronic diseases.

This will heal you of your illness.

Have eternal life.

I hope you'll have eternal life.

Have eternal life.

Have eternal life.

I'm telling you the truth!

That old codger didn't give you a cash gift!

He's lying when he says he loves you.

You don't deserve to live in this world.

Why are you still alive?

Die! Die!

Min!

Grandpa...

Who... Who did this to me?

Sir.

Man Taek is here, but he seems weird.

Please forgive me. I beg for your forgiveness.

Please forgive me.

Please, I beg you.

I beg for your forgiveness.

Please forgive me, I beg you.

My goodness. Why are you so pale?

What happened?

Sir.

Young Master remembers what happened back then.

Wait. What are you talking about?

You know...

Gong Su Ji's dead body was in his room,

and that jerk who died 24 years ago...

went into Young Master's body...

Sir.

It's all right.

Sir... I must be mistaken, right?

There can't be ghosts, right?

Don't worry.

Here. You should drink this.

It'll help you feel better.

All of your illness will disappear right away.

Sir.

Does Young Master suffer from dissociative identity...

Quiet!

Man Taek is talking nonsense because he's seriously ill.

Nothing has changed from 24 years ago.

Okay, sir.

But we must stop them from issuing his arrest warrant...

I'll manage that on my own.

Yang Bok Man, that brat.

Sir!

I heard you blessed Seo Ha.

Thank you so much.

Seo Ha...

will be excluded from New Person Ceremony.

Sir, but what about her leg?

You promised you'd fix her leg if she joins the ceremony!

If you can't even convince your own father,

how dare you wish for a blessing from the deity?

What are you talking about?

What did my dad do?

Sir!

I'll convince him.

I'll tell him to do anything you or the villagers tell him,

so please...

Get up!

I'm done talking. You should pack up and leave!

Sir...

Sir! Sir! Please...

Sir...

Sir... Please...

He must be sleeping in peace.

Detective Cho.

Here.

I looked into it just in case,

and the orphanage had one picture left.

You didn't have to waste your time on this.

Detective Cho.

If you become a wreck because of your revenge,

it'll make your mother and Seung Ah even sadder.

They'd never want you to do that.

I also don't want to...

lose another talented colleague of mine.

Nothing you're worried about will happen.

Also,

I'm sorry...

for my misunderstandings.

Let's get in there.

Detective Cho.

Let's go.

- How may I help you? - I came here to report something.

Do I just go in here?

Yes, if you go straight inside, you'll see a man...

(Traffic Investigation Team)

Who are you? How did you get in here?

Who are you?

Tell me, who are you?

You scumbag...

Drop what you're holding.

Drop your weapon!

Don't move, you jerk!

Take off your hood,

and lift your head up.

Please come out here!

What?

You should stay here.

What's that? Isn't that human hair?

Director Kang.

Dong Bang Min.

Hold on.

Dong Bang Min.

He's alive.

Dong Bang Min.

This is Director Kang. We found Dong Bang Min at his home,

but he's been stabbed in the stomach.

Send backup and an ambulance.

This is Dispatch One. Director Kang, Detective Cho.

Kwak Man Taek, who works at Dong Bang Min's residence,

just turned himself in, claiming that he's Circus Man.

(11pm, serial murder suspect Kwak Man Taek turned himself in)

(All underaged actors who participated in this episode...)

(received sufficient safety and psychological guidance.)

(Voice 4)

He's refusing to be questioned until the two of you get here.

Do you know where Su Ji is buried?

Grandpa, don't be so sneaky.

Just tell the truth.

Send him back to the US.

It is my duty to protect Vimo Island.

Don't let them set foot on our soil!

The police must never suspect an innocent citizen.

Pick a time and location and let me know.

Help me. I'm scared.

- Who are you? - You don't remember me?
