[ The Legends ]

[ Episode 53 ]

Brother Cangling.

Zhiyan?

When we said goodbye that day at the mountain gate I didn't imagine we would meet again so soon.

True. Only, once again it's at a time of life or death.

Zhiyan,

Jin Xian's return to life, the matters concerned... they are all our Jianxin Sect's...

Brother Cangling,

I've never blamed you. This situation isn't on you, either.

If we want to complain, we can only blame fate for allowing it.

Don't blame yourself.

On Mount Phoenix

be careful all the time.

You, too.

Little Niece! Little Niece!

- Little Niece - There's something in Wan Lu Sect, I'm leaving.

Zhiyan!

Be careful all the time.

Lu Zhaoyao is only one.

But, do you know

that Ziyu is only one, too?

Once master and servant, how can you pick such a place to reminisce about the past?

You two, go on!

Miss Lin, a moment ago he said

"Lu Zhaoyao is only one".

You're really pitiful.

Punishing him here would rather be too easy on him.

Also, you shouldn't ruin my great plan for tomorrow.

Many years ago

our Immortal Sect captured you on Fengmo Mountain. Due to my serious injury I could not participate.

We lost such a long time.

Now

we are finally back on the right path. But all of this

has taken too many twists and turns.

Li Chenlan,

ten thousand deaths would not make up for your crimes!

Luo Mingxuan,

you're really sad.

Incorrigible!

Tomorrow the world will finally see your sins.

Mo Qing,

wait for me.

All right.

Jin Xian, we have placed the defence in and out of Mount Phoenix.

If Zhaoyao dare come, we'll destroy her.

Good.

Tomorrow these two demons

must be annihilated.

Tomorrow I'm going to Phoenix Mountain; it will be another fierce battle.

This evening I called you all here to tell you to leave Wan Lu Sect.

Protect your life. This way I won't be hindered by any worries.

No way. On any day, if Sect Leader tells me to go, I'll go for sure. But tomorrow it can't be.

You must go.

- But, Sect Leader... - Seventeen,

if in Immortal Sect there's still someone with a conscience, they will not let Jin Xian do evil.

Let's hope so.

Zhaoyao, if you can stake all your strength on this one chance,

so can we.

So, don't talk about making us leave anymore.

Tomorrow I'll take Li Yazi forward as well.

It isn't only to lend a hand to you, Sect Leader Lu. Even more, it's for each of the Immortal Sect,

to give them the truth.

Many thanks to each of you.

Sect Leader, Thousand Dust Pavillion disciple Su Yan is seeking audience.

- Let him in, quick. - Yes.

It seems we are up to 2 chances.

Sect Leader Lu, my Senior assumed that tomorrow you'll certainly take action and commanded me to come.

I'll march on Phoenix Mountain with you. Senior worries for our Leader. He'll take our disciples there first.

Right! Tomorrow we also have to save Qin Qianxian!

Do you all have a plan?

Plans are useless by now.

We can only use all the people we have and follow fate.

Demoness, your Liuhe Tianyi Sword is still in Luo Mingxuan's hands.

For tomorrow's battle you're missing a proper weapon.

My weapon is just outside Phoenix's Song Hall.

All Immortal Sect Leaders and followers,

I, the Gold Deity Luo Mingxuan, today, by the will of Heaven,

have set a formation against demons here,

so as to eliminate the Son of the Demon King, to the benefit of all the people in the world!

- Jin Xian the Englightened! - Jin Xian the Englightened!

Hey, you'd said that for Sima...

no, wait... You'd said that for Qin Xian...

no, wait... THEY'd said that Qin Qianxian was held around this backyard.

I've looked full round and couldn't find him.

You've been running circles all in the same place! Seventeen, to the left!

To the left. To-to the left.

If you go right you'll run in a circle again!

Right...

Is it here?

Sima Rong, someone's holding guard here.

Hurry, go look.

All right.

There's a ward!

Sima Rong, there's a ward here. Qin Qianxian must be here.

Seventeen, don't be so loud.

Beautiful One, let's go!

- Wait. - What is it?

Outside there is still a ward. I can't get out.

Then what do we do?

I'll teach you some magic. Try it.

All right. You speak, I do.

Li Chenlan.

First, he's the son of the Demon King. This is his original crime.

Second, he's Wan Lu Sect Leader. This is a crime against humanity.

Third, the massacre of the South Moon Order. His beastly nature can't be swayed,

it is of the utmost cruelty. Fourth, he swept away Jianxin Sect,

harming the people of Jinzhou: their cries filled the streets, they were left with no means to live.

Recently

again, he slaughtered

the whole Xu Zong Sect for their secret art.

His crimes call for execution.

Add crimes as you please.

Even on the point of death you refuse to repent.

Jianxin Sect Leader is here!

Liu Cangling! What have you all come for?

Xu Zong Sect's case has nothing to do with Li Chenlan.

The man who killed Sect Leader Jiang, stole the secret art and destroyed Xu Zong Sect is you,

Luo Mingxuan!

Liu Cangling, don't think you can spout nonsense here.

I have a witness.

Xu Zong Sect's survivor,

Sect Leader Jiang's personal pupil, Li Yazi.

My Master and Senior Gu,

as well as all my fellow disciples in Xu Zong Sect

were killed by Luo Mingxuan. I saw it with my own eyes.

- What? - Is that so?

- An investigation! - How could this be?

Enough!

Luo Mingxuan! You want to silence him by murder in front of all this crowd?

Jin Xian, I hope you can give us a reasonable explanation.

Tang Yun! Which side are you on?

I'm on the side of truth.

The truth is

Luo Mingxuan is the real demon!

Lu Zhaoyao, you came indeed.

But this time you can't save him

and you can't save yourself.

The one who can't save himself is you.

Zhiyan, take Li Yazi away.

Go!

Yazi, let's go.

Where are you going?

You've broken your wind and now you're leaving? I haven't given my permission, yet!

Zhaoyao!

Luo Mingxuan is now on an evil monster. Qingyin Sect disciples, listen to my command:

let us put down the evil monster together!

- Yes! - Yes!

It appears, Sect Leader Tang, that you want to be our enemy.

I won't assist tyrants in doing evil.

Fine.

Then don't blame me for being rude.

Jin Xiu! Why are you here?

I told you, this time I want to be with you.

Fine. Then be together in death.

What right do you have to fight me?

I came to rake revenge for Ah Wu!

His palm... His weakness is on his hand palm!

Ah Wu, I've taken revenge for you.

Jin Xian!

This is the Gold Deity you all worship as head of Immortal Sect!

This is the truth you wanted!

Beauty comes from the heart.

Luo Mingxuan, the true face you revealed

is truly hideous!

Today the one who should be judged

is you, Luo Mingxuan!

Zhaoyao!

Zhaoyao

Luo Mingxuan's strength is so overbearing.

What is this now?

Jin Xian is turning like this?

True face.

If this is the face required to achieve the Great Way, then this is just as I should be!

The hardships I've suffered

in the days ahead will become the light that shines on all creatures!

Every sacrifice is for the achievement of the Great Way!

Jin Xiu!

The martyrs of today will begin with you.

No

W-we...

Were we wrong?

Wrong? How can Jin Xian be wrong?

How can I be wrong?

I can't be wrong.

I can't be wrong. I can't be wrong!

- Why? How could this... - Sect Leader! Sect Leader!

No!

Little Yun!

Don't!

- Jin Xiu, about what you mentioned last night, - Don't!

I wanted to accept.

Now I'm afraid I can't.

Don't!

- Don't! - But it's fine.

In the years I've had,

I've finally repaid you for saving my life-

Little Yun, don't!

You love beauty so much.

This headful of silver hair... pity...

Little Yun!

Luo Mingxuan! You're out of your mind!

Only without affections or desires can we achieve the Great Way!

If it's without affections or desires what's the use of the Great Way?

Sect disciples and Qingyin followers, follwo my command!

- Yes! - Yes!

Let's kill the evil monster together! Victory or death!

All right. Since it's like this,

you'll all be martyrs of the Great Way!

Zhaoyao! Run away!

Zhiyan, take them away!

But you...

Go!

Go!

Martyrs? I'm willing!

I'm willing to sacrifice for my faith!

No! No!

Let's go.

It won't do. We still can't avoid the ward.

Since we can't avoid it, we can only brave it.

When Sect Leader told us to come a little later she was in fact taking precautions.

Qianjin wrote to me that Immortal Sect was facing danger.

Our Rain View Sect would never ignore others' plea.

We must leave this place alive!
